Laoise was running late -- and so she arrived behind the bulk of the Chaos forces, ducking and weaving and staying out of sight as she watched them approach, waiting for the action to really kick up into madness before launching herself at a run for the meeting. She dove between an officer's feet and shot like a rocket past her, skidding across the floor before she paused to take in a deep breath.

This. Was a disaster. And where was Sisyphus?

She was only still for a moment before she took off running again -- bucking and weaving among the crates until she all but ran into the crouching senshi behind one of them, coffee spilled down the front of his uniform, breathing heavily in panic. It was too many negas, and he lacked the strength to do anything about it.

"Stand up, you son of a b***h." Lee's voice was a hiss, and it went through Sisyphus like a jolt of electricity -- driving him up to stand, his eyes flashing around the room.

"Now do something." And that was all it took to make him point to the nearest officer -- Natron -- his mouth opening without even really thinking about it.

"Sisyphean Task!"

For 30 seconds, one opponent must repeatedly take out his or her weapon and put it away again, for this time unable to use it, throw it, or occupy one hand in any other way. They are still free to run around or shout orders, though.

He can do this twice a battle, but can only have it active on one person at a time.

He didn't even stutter. A miracle. And while he did that, Laoise took off again. She wanted a better viewpoint. She'd find some way to get up into the rafters...

MAGIC

"Hm, and you came to our planet uninvited," Mica retaliated, her words filled with jest even when there was a murderous tint in her eyes. As Sirius began to circle, Mica kept her gaze on the senshi, trying to read her expression to see if she could get an idea of what she would do next. Well, besides obviously attack, and Mica found that admirable in this one. While others, probably children, cowered in a ball not too far away, this one was brave enough to strike out, and for that, Mica would try to reward her with a painless death. "Do not worry. I'll see to it that all of you see your way out, in some manner or another."

Mica knew nothing of who this senshi was, her involvements with Ares and the Blood Moon Court, nor did she know of Captain Buddingtonite's plans, but it hardly mattered to her. In her eyes, she was an enemy, and so it was easy to defend herself when Sirius came charging at her. She twirled her spear to where the blade would be facing her opponent and thrust the pointed edge forward, trying to aim for the mid section to her legs, even when she felt Sirius's fist strike at her side in their passing. She managed to hold back her cry, but her wince was clear to see, and she turned around, preparing a wide horizontal swing before she had the chance to even see if her initial strike hit or even turned to look.

Vespa had swung and missed, and he managed to wipe some steam off of his visors, just in time to look towards the group of senshi that they were attacking. Even from behind the visor, he could clearly see children, and he wasn't sure who he was addressing when he gave a shout, "Children? There are children here?!"

Was he really suppose to fight them? What harm could they possibly do to their home, or to them, for that matter?

What the hell was everyone giving him looks for? Excuse him for trying to make sure both chibi's were guarded. Fine. Last time he tries to save someones a**. Note taken. He glared at the brown form that was Natron, grinning when he got hit with both Leda and Sisyphus' attacks. And whoa was that a cat. The ********, Persephone never mentioned anything about that. The tiny blonde huffed. Guess he needed to have a talk with Seph about hiding things...

Later.

He shot forward, between Persephone and Biela and ran straight for none other then Natron. When he was close enough, he threw himself forward, tackling the Captain to the ground. "So this is who you are. I see you chose what part to act on..."

The voice was enough warning for Persephone to duck - and it always amused her how often people forgot to calculate for her being small. Certainly it was a disadvantage most of the time, but it also meant she could outmaneuver most attackers. "Yeah, ******** you," she growled, shifting to throw her weight into the taller woman. If she could keep at least one on her and off the others, that would be good - but there were so many. How had they been discovered?

Beejoux
assuming seph's smaller because she's like 5'2" in heels

Alright, so being the first through the door into a roomful of magic fighters was not the most intelligent decision Natron had made yet today. The sudden scalding steam was proof enough of that, and he was very, very glad for how well his outfit covered him - if he had to wear the skimpy s**t he'd seen on most Senshi, he probably would've been even unhappier right then.

He heard the second Senshi cry out his attack and had just enough time to register it as horrifyingly familiar before, just like the last time he'd fought that particular Senshi, under the bleachers at the ballpark, he was summoning and desummoning his weapon ******** everything," he groaned quietly. Going in first had been eight different kinds of mistake. Getting knocked off his feet by a kid eight inches shorter than him was just the topper on the cake. He was somewhere between really, really pissed and really, really done.

"Yeah, it is," he said. He knew this one - Dionysus. If he'd known there were chibis inside... Too late to kick himself now, the Negaverse's finest had turned out. "Sorry, kid, but I'm an officer first." He couldn't use his hands or his weapon, so instead he used his legs, kneeing at Dionysus's gut. If he could knock the brat out early maybe one of the other senshi would get him out.

"Well officer," He hissed. "Hope you can live with yourself if we die. I heard some senshi don't take well to us chibi's being messed with." The words had barely left his mouth before he was kicked in the gut. Guess he should have known things wouldn't be this smooth. "Officer my a**. An officer is meant to protect. You're not doing anything of the sort. If anything, you're nothing more then a murderer." Dion spat. No literally, the chibi actually went as far as to spit on the Captain.

With the older senshi occupied by other officers, it left Cinnabar sort of at loose ends. Seeing the man who had led the attack felled by some kind of magic and a rug rat of a senshi brought a frown to her face as she skidded to a stop on her tall heels and took quick stock of the situation.

There... that was the senshi that had shouted, right before the magic had taken Natron. What a coward... hiding behind the crates. Time to take the fight to him and see if he broke an ran, or actually offered her some kind of challenge. If he didn't, the chibis were going to have to be her next target. She was loathe to start her career out by killing a child... but these were powered children and potentially a danger. First thing was first though.

Darting up to the crates, Cinnabar hauled back and gave them a sharp kick, splintering wood with a loud crash.

"Come out, come out, Senshi! Come and play!" She trilled with a toothy smile, her red eyes flashing.

Cinnabar was rewarded by a likely-rewarding yelp of surprise -- and like that Sisyphus's success was short lived. He was put back on the defensive, hopping away from the girl who could kick crates hard enough that they exploded, his eyes scanning the room for more dangers.

He really, really needed to take a self-defense course. Beyond the things that Laoise put him through.

But she had been training him some -- so his reactions were better than they once would have been. Instead of just freezing up, he hopped back another step, grabbing a crate to throw in the Lieutenant's direction, drawing in a couple quick breaths.

Leda huffed in mild relief when she saw the steam swirl around the captain, but it soon faded and he seemed undeterred. Were they somehow resistant to her magic now? The thought caused her to cringe. She backed up, toward her teammates, and looked about herself with pleading eyes for some sign of what she should do next in a situation like this.

Finally she spotted a dominatrix-like lieutenant peel out after a senshi dressed primarily in white, who sought to hide himself from the commotion. "Hey! Leave him alone!" Leda called after her, while she broke from formation to take the girl down. She looked intimidating, but Leda didn't have much time to waste on the churning unease threatening to stifle her actions. Instead, she mustered the wherewithal to aim a kick toward the back of the lieutenant's knee, hoping to ground her long enough for the petrified senshi to escape.

Adonis broke into the scene with a few delusional beliefs - one being that child soldiers were a thing of the 1940s, when national socialist Germany began losing the war at a steady pace. And either he suddenly stepped into those times, or he was dreadfully, horribly wrong. Before him stood not one, but two chibi senshi, who looked to young to start high school - let alone participate in a war. He froze for a moment as his gaze alternated between the two, wondering if he should desist and walk out to avoid watching them die or throw himself into the fray as a means to forget about them.

A thought struck him that he instantly wanted to forget: he'd never cleaned up after a dead child before.

So he tried to forget it. He tried by seeking out the nearest senshi, one clad in furs and fury, and he tried by holding his arms outward toward her in total focus. He tried by simply reciting the name of the attack he had access to, a chemical burn-inducing rash that might possibly dissuade her from further harm to his comrades. It was almost unnerving with he ease he could cause her pain now - he still wondered what changed, but now wasn't the time.

He didn't want to think about dead children, either.

"Skinned," he recited, and watched with bated breath for his magic to take hold.

hi! if this is unacceptable, just let me know!
Sailor Scout Attack: Skinned
Range: 20 feet
Duration: 20 seconds
Number of uses: 2
Number of targets: 1
Adonis holds his arms out, palms up, and the gloves on his uniform burn away. The change is mimicked in his targeted opponent, who he must make eye contact with, and they feel the effects of a mild chemical burn. They see a few layers of skin peeling off, some irritation, and some decent pain. Only occurs on the arms, and can be interrupted by attacking Adonis before his uniform manifests any changes, preventing him from making eye contact, or by shutting him up somehow before he can utter the name of the attack. Once the duration ends, their body goes back to normal (as does his uniform).

Watching Benitoite immerse himself in the fray was a welcome sight, at least. Often times Bischofite wondered if the blonde even powered up to seek the souls of his enemy as he had recited time and time again - if he simply fed the misanthrope an elaborate hoax to maintain some semblance of respect. But given the way his eyes lit with life when he considered the battle that lay ahead, Bischofite found his doubts dispelled and did not lament at their loss.

Instead, he slipped into the warehouse not long after his general. What greeted him was utter chaos - senshi and agents splayed themselves over different areas in the warehouse and all cohesion previously held now melted away in the presence of violence. However, Bischofite had little time to speculate - as a lieutenant, it would benefit him to stay out of sight from the senshi now one rank higher, but after sighting Persephone and Xenotime locked in a dead heat, he threw caution to the wind. Part of him wanted to avoid Xenotime, to hide his obvious demotion from her for a time longer, but the chances that she already knew seemed staggering.

Besides, Persephone wanted an answer to her question - and who was he to deny knowledge?

As he approached, he watched with mixed amusement while the two women he considered more than tolerable engaged each other in battle. Persephone managed a duck from Xenotime's attack, and before she could lunge into the taller and far more hardy Xenotime, Bischofite reached the two and seized her arm, jerking it toward himself to throw her balance entirely. "Be glad I can't teleport, Persephone - ozzerwise it would haf' been a rafter coming down on your head instead of her." Afterward he shifted his gaze to Xenotime and flashed her a smile that was all teeth. "Won't you pull her starseed, Jägerin?"

He had other business he wanted to attend to - namely, the chibi senshi that attacked Natron so readily. Reunions ran rampant in the chaos, it seemed. Without any parting words, he darted toward the captain who kicked at the child atop him.

Was it skill that had let the seshi avoid her punch, or raw dumb luck? No answers, not yet. The soldier had never met this girl before, had never faced off against her nor even seen her in battle from afar. It was impossible to gauge from just one ducked blow, but there would be more, and the captain would find her answers, claw them out, drag them from the the senshi bit by bit. And she would delight in this search for knowledge, because it would mean bruising her knuckles against the other woman's body, that pretty face. Oh, how she'd missed the thrill, the risk drenched excitement, it made her heart pound.

Or maybe..
Just maybe..

It was the brush of that almost familiar aura coming near her that sent her pulse racing.

Persephone charged, but something stopped her. A hand on her arm, jerking her around, and Xenotime gave a cheated snarl before silver eyes landed on the familiar contours of a war paint streaked face. It hit her like a physical blow, made her stagger, and she stared after him with disbelief and shock as he grinned at her, all sharp teeth and wicked intent. Her general.. No, not anymore. Something had happened. Something that she had not been privy to. How was he a lieutenant again? How had her powerful, ruthless general been reduced to this? The sight of him in this dwindled state made her chest ache. Or maybe it was just him.

Tahiti her a**!

The pet name jarred her from her inner musings, and she blinked after him, features hardening as everything around her came back to her. Now was not the time for the questions that gnawed at her, they could wait, they would have to wait. Their enemies were too many, and now the captain had something real and tangible and precious here and now that she needed to keep safe. So she met those golden eyes, and painted lips curled up in a fierce grin at the request. "For you? Anything." He slipped away, setting sights on his own target, and Xenotime brought her attention back around to rest in full upon the senshi. "Well you heard the man."

One missed strike was no deterrent. Xenotime lifted curled fists, fingers squeezing the warmth of solid steel into her palm, and she lunged forward again, faster this time. Using all those years of strength training and conditioning to her advantage. The weapon wasn't the gleam of knuckledusters on her hands, she was the weapon, and she put all that considerable power into a wide swung left hook to the other girl's shoulder.

The yelp she received for her attack was music to her ears, making her grin stretch wider. Hands came up in a practiced defensive position and when the crate came at her head, she was ready for it, batting it away as she gracefully spun out of its path. She moved like a jungle cat, smooth and fluid, sure of where her feet were going without needing to look. Years of martial arts training flowed well into this new life, giving her a much appreciated leg up.

Aw, he was so cute... thinking he could fight back like that. She was going to crush him so hard he would be nothing but pink and white paste on the floor... Well, maybe after she dealt with this senshi that had decided to sneak up behind her and slam a boot into the back of her knee.

Cinnabar stumbled as she felt the impact, going down on one knees as she felt the join collapse forward. The attack came as a surprise, but she went with it, putting her weight on that knee and spinning to sweep her other leg behind her and hopefully knock the senshi down in return. As fast as she went down, the raven-haired lieutenant was up on her feet again, her heels thunking into the floor as she danced back into a defensive position again.

"Hello, Sweety. Did you want to play too?" She hummed.

Persephone snarled when someone grabbed her elbow - she was in full fight mode, and she was fully prepared to attack this new assailant - except the voice and the face were all too familiar. "Bischofite," she said, and there was a measure of resignation in her tone. Of course he was here. Of course word had somehow gotten to the one officer that genuinely terrified her - though she took solace in the fact that he was a lieutenant and so there were no chakrams to worry about.

It was good to know that his promise apparently did indeed cover not directly ripping out her starseed, but did not cover asking his girlfriend to do it for him. Besides, he was gone, so quickly that she barely had time to speak, and there was the problem, primarily, of the Captain in front of her.

"As if I'd let someone like you kill me," she hissed, a twist turning the blow from a solid one to a glancing. She leapt forward, physically throwing her weight into the Captain, because unless she got her off her feet Persephone was well aware that her smaller size would probably be her doom. At least if Xenotime was off her feet, there might be a chance to overpower her.

Beejoux

Natron growled, one hand still occupied with the pointless and rather tiring task of taking out and putting away his weapon as per Sisyphus's magic. That made having to deal with the kid on top of him even more frustrating. "Look, I don't want to hurt either of you. Why don't you take the other kid and get out? There's gotta be a back door..." He kept his voice down, at least for that.

He couldn't miss the approaching Lieutenant. "Bischofite!" He called, which was half a greeting and half a warning to Dionysus. "Can you get this brat off me? I'd do it myself but some goddamn magic has me occupied!"

"I'd never hear the end of it from Persephone." Dionysus growled out only to blink and look. Oh joy. The approaching wall of black was just what he needed... So what did he do? He ran. Naturally. ...Straight to Persephone again. "Your boyfriend wants to kill me!" He hissed at the greenette, ignoring the other officer that Seph was currently dancing with. Okay so maybe attacking Natron hadn't been his SMARTEST move.... but hey. He was young. He was allowed to make mistakes.

Azurite slipped away from Cyllene and her new found blonde friend the second she spotted a familiar head of green hair. "I'll be back. Try not to mar that pretty face of yours. At least until I learn your name." She said as she passed the blonde corrupt. Unfortunately for Azurite, it looked like Persephone was already with someone... but that wasn't going to stop her. Not one bit. "Do you mind if I cut in?" Azurite spoke up, only looking away from Persephone to glance at the purple haired beauty that was with her. "I have business to finish with this one.."

Bluefire Dragonz

Cinnabar could defend from the front, certainly, from the sides, could keep an eye on the white mooners around her -- but it was harder, certainly, to pay attention to what was happening above. For, indeed, Laoise had found a way to scramble her way up into the rafters and had gotten herself situated neatly on a beam, peering down at the battle below, waiting for just the right moment --

And that was now.

Out of nowhere, it would seem, the cat would appear on Cinnabar's shoulders, with all the force that a falling cat could and with all the claws an angry cat had, ripping into the leather of her jacket and hunting for skin and Lee yowled into the girl's ear.

And that would, of course, give Sisyphus some time to escape, scrambling over another crate and away from the pair of them. His cat had it well in hand, and he certainly didn't want to face someone with that much training. Of course, he just turned to find himself faced with Xenotime, another familiar face. One that made him freeze, blinking a bit, mouth opened in a brief O of horror --

"H-hey! I know you!" It was sharp, and miracle of miracle, he actually threw himself at her. Clumsily. Angry. Remembering how she'd made trouble on his own block.

When Natron slammed the doors open, Zircon froze.

It was all too much, feeling the power of the senshi in the warehouse like static between her ears. All at once she relived her last battle, the sickening crunch of broken bones and the slithering sensation of them knitting back together. She had felt what it meant to be at death's door, and for a moment, it rushed back to her with such brilliant intensity that she staggered, unable to move or speak.

Remember your training. Fight.

She bit back the icy fear sliding down her throat into her gut and forced herself to watch events unfold. Natron went down, as most front-line troops did, but his sacrifice offered plenty of information about the opponent. Remembering her legs, Zircon took a step forward, slowly at first but picking up momentum as she forced herself into the room. Her eyes focused on Leda, guessing that with her attack spent on Natron that she would need some time to recharge. That made her vulnerable.

Zircon liked vulnerable.

It took a few more hesitant steps for Zircon's feet to get used to running, but she made it there, rushing at top speed towards the Super. If anything, her fear gave her an energizing rush of adrenaline, and it was with a wide-eyed look of desperation that she swung out at the senshi, aiming for the poor girl's gut with a powerful fist.

Disable, disarm, defeat.

Maybe it was her training, luck, who knows. Mica's attack missed her, well just about. It cut her but not enough for her to be bothered by it. The attack that came from no where, that was something entirely different but instead of worrying she took a deep breath and launched at Mica again. Her arms were starting to sting, really sting but she refused to look at them or change her focus.

"I was born here thanks." Just figured the general should know, after all Louisa had been on this Earth for twenty odd years now, Sirius was Louisa and vice versa and so she had been born here.

She flew at the general again, this time aiming to grab the spear. Her arms were really stinging now. It really hurt.
