Borra Post 8

The man wasn't very much of a talker, but he did answer his questions, though he couldn't help but look in the direction that Gyuri pointed in as if he would be able to see his house from where they were. Still that was neat to know that he didn't live far, and yet how had he never met him before? Oh well what did that matter? He knew Gyuri now and he intended to make friends with him.

Borra however oblivious he may of seemed still had one ear turned in the direction of Eira and his sister, the sheer fact she was allowing Eira to come up with some plan to get them away from their father must of meant that Sin'qua secretly wanted to go as well. Though what talent she may want to contribute beyond nagging he wasn't sure.

"Did you want to pet him?" He inquired pleasantly to Gyuri as if trying to continue playing dumb to his sister's interesting behavior. "Its a shame we hadn't met sooner if you lived somewhat in the area...would of been nice to make a friend like you."

Sin'qua Post 8

Looking over at Borra she had to wonder if he was deliberately ignoring the fact this situation was going to get a whole lot more uncomfortable IT frustrated her to no end, but that was Borra for you. "Alright then...perhaps we should keep moving then, I am sure our parents would just looooooooove to meet you both. Especially since you will be our traveling companions." Sin'qua stated in a rather sarcastic tone.

Casting a look to her brother she shook her head slightly and then gestured to him. "Come on let us keep moving...I am cold enough as it is and standing around out in the snow isn't helping in the least." She huffed trying to resist the urge to rub her arms to warm them up. She didn't want to show any weakness to Eira, but she would be damned if she would stay out here for another minute just to ....talk.

Eira Post 9

Eira gave a nod of her head, "Alright, let's get going then." She said, recalling only vaguely running across their mother some time ago. She didn't much care of that one but that wasn't who they were trying to get on the good side of, was she? No, it was Borra's father that had to be won over and dealing with men was far easier to do if you asked Eira. Still, both Borra and his sister seemed to be quite intimidated by the man as well as the idea of facing him and getting permission. As such she would need to think long and hard about how it was that she was going to deal with him and get him to allow the two of them to travel with her.

She gave Sin'qua a glance when the woman mentioned the cold weather and that standing around in the snow wasn't helping. She looked around a moment then shrugged, "Yes, better hurry then, I'd rather my potential troupe mates didn't freeze to death." That would leave her with one less person in her troupe, not something that she liked the sound of.

Turning toward Gyuri and Borra, both of whom seemed to be happily playing with Borra's pet and chatting, she gave a sigh. Damn it, those two really should be helping them think about how they were going to get Borra and his sister to be allowed to join their group! It would be a lot harder to do if they just wasted time playing. Still, at least Borra and Gyuri were getting along, more then what could be said about the other woman and herself... though it was at least a bit more amiable then usual when it came to Eira and her feelings for other women, "Gyuri, Borra, come on, we are going now!" She said to them sweetly, "Time to face the music as it were."

Gyuri Post 9

Gyuri looked down at the Raoti, then nodded his head as he squatted down in front of the fluffy creature. It was a little odd to take into account that the creature was like the ones that his father hunted. At least this one, being a pet, was safe from such things he figured before he reached out a hand to give the creature a pat on the head. He really was a cute one, just like his owner he decided, giving a little smile as he looked over at Borra, decided to keep such a thought to himself, not wanting to embarrass the other man.

When the other mentioned it being a shame that they hadn't met sooner, that it would have been nice to make a friend like Gyuri. The giant of a man couldn't help but to flush a little bit, lifting a hand to up to scratch it against the back of his head in an embarrassed manner. How nice of him to say such a thing he thought to himself. It would have been nice to meet him before now but at least they were together now, right? Erm, as friends of course! Though he would really be all over it being more then that were he to have a chance at such a thing. He kind of doubted it was really an option, especially when someone like Eira was around. He was sure that she was more the sort that Borra would be interested in.

Giving a smile he said, "At least we can be friends now." He said after a while, his attention on the raoti as he said the words to Borra, a little too shy to look right at him as he spoke. He gave him a nod before turning to look over at Eira, pushing up to his feet as she called for them, saying that it was time to go... to face the music? Where were they going he found himself wondering as he brushed the snow off his knee from where he'd been kneeling.

Borra

At Eira's words the young man couldn't help but wince, after all....it meant that they needed to get home and....that meant as she said it and he was fairly sure she hadn't intended the pun...'to face the music'. His father didn't know that he was still secretly playing the lute, his fathers lute at that...the last time they had 'dicussed' this interest had resulted in his father throwing the lute into the snow bank and almost breaking it. Licking his lips he went to stand up, much to Barokes annoyance as this would result in no more attention for the little roati. As if trying to make Borra jealous the little creature decided to trail beside and behind the giant of a man who had petted him.

Moving quickly to catch up to Eira and his sister he lagged a bit behind them both.

"Maybe we don't have to mention me playing music in the troupe....I mean father doesn't have to know exactly what I am doing ..." He started off hoping that Eira would catch on that his father greatly disapproved of his passion.

Sin'qua Post 9

At first she cast a dark look at her brother, lie to their father? What was he insane? Though the more she thought on it ...the more it may actually work. She hated to admit that he had a good idea, father didn't need to know exactly what they would be doing...fudge the truth a little.

"He has a point.. though I don't advise lying to our father outright...perhaps fudging the truth wouldn't hurt. Father doesn't know of Borra's secret passion for music. Or at least his continued passion. So we need to come up with a story that we all can agree on...and tell our dad. We will be traveling..so that isn't lying...its just the reason ...needs to be ...changed."

Eira Post 10

Eira turned to glance between the siblings for a long moment before giving a slow nod of her head, "I... see." So she had to figure out why it was that Borra had to come along with her troupe but without allowing anyone to know that he was going to be playing music for them? Alright, so that meant that she was going to have to figure out a reason why he was going along. For a moment she considered saying that he was going to be another member of her security team but... comparing Borra with Gyuri was a little laughable. The two of them were quite different and there was that not so subtle size difference. So what was it that they were going to say was the reason?

Turning around and walking backwards so that she could better study Borra for a long moment Eira then glanced over at Sin'qua and asked, "Is there any way that he would buy that your brother is going to help guard the group?" She asked, while Eira didn't quite buy it maybe the father would if only because he wanted to think his son a tough sort. Maybe he'd prefer to have a son who was playing the part of a bodyguard to a son that was playing music?

Eira wasn't sure though... would he buy such a thing? Best to ask the siblings, to see if there was a chance of that working or if they should come up with a better and more believable task for Borra to pretend to be taking on.

Gyuri Post 10

Gyuri followed along after the others, studying the group, not really sure what there was that he could add to the conversation so he just remained quiet. As the others set to studying Borra, sizing him up, trying to decide on what else he could do but music he found himself thinking on it as well. Surely there must be other things for him to do, right? Or at least other things for him to pretend to do. It was something he found himself debating on too, wanting to try to help in thinking up a new title for Borra if possible... before Eira was suddenly asking if he might be able to pass for a bodyguard.

Giving him a glance he found himself wondering the same thing. Would he be able to pull that off even as a farce? He wouldn't mind helping him out... after all it wasn't as though he were a great warrior himself. It was just his size alone that allowed him to pass for one so maybe they could work together to try to pass for warriors who would be defending the troupe. The problem being that Eira didn't quite look like she thought that Borra could do it. Instead she was turning to look at the sister for help, to see if she or their father would buy it. He could only hope that the man would in fact buy it because he really didn't want to have to kidnap Borra and Sin'qua... he didn't really care for that plan very much.

Borra Post 10

Even Borra had a hard time not laughing at the idea of him becoming someone to protect others Sadly though it seemed less likely that they would be able to lie to their father without it being really obvious that they were lying to him. Him as a guard..now that was funny. He couldn't help but chuckle at the sheer mental image of him being all big and buff.

"Well compared to Gyuri I am almost like the punching back he would train with rather then a real adversary. " Borra grinned giving Eira a small wave as she walked backwards to study him. Giving a glance to the large beast of a man.

"It would be more like your trying to train me to be a warrior ...or something."

Sin'qua post 10

Looking over her shoulder to cast a scowling glance at Eira as she sized up herbrother Sin'qua on then had to glare at Borra as well. What an idiotic......idea. Sure it wasn't the best idea in the world...and it would have to be performed...extremely well and convincingly...but it could work.

"That...isn't actually a bad idea brother. Gyuri could be a master...and he wants to train Borra in the field of swordsmanship? Archery? " She mused a bit on just what was the most believable considering Gyuri's size compared to Borra's. "Anyway if we can convince our father Gyuri wants to train him then perhaps he will be more willing to let him go."

Eira Post 11

Eira looked between Gyuri and Borra for a long moment before she nodded her head, giving a smile, "Yeah, that could work. To say that Gyuri is going to train him." She said, looking as though she was pleased with this idea. It wasn't the best, of course, but it should at least be serviceable, right? Better then nothing at least and it would allow them to get Borra and his sister away from home and into her troupe.

Giving a smile and a nod Eira then said, "Alright, then that is the plan, do you think that the two of you will be able to follow through with this plan?" So long as Gyuri and Borra would be able to follow along... well, no... it was more Borra that she was worried about. Gyuri had to big, stoic air about him, it made him harder to question. He could come off as a master easily enough but Borra... he was a little bit childish at times from what she'd seen. Would he be able to play the role? She could only hope so. Giving him a smile she said, "Just do your best, Borra, and in no time we will be enjoying ourselves as a troupe." Or so she hoped, so long as this all went well that was.

Gyuri Post 11

There was a moment in which Gyuri really wanted to protest the idea, not liking the idea of going from prentice to warrior to master all in one day. He wasn't a warrior, but he felt like he might be able to handle the role of protector to the troupe regardless. The hard part was that he didn't think he could pass for a master that wanted to train Borra if the guy's father started to interrogate him... he wasn't good at talking after all so how would he convince the man that he was something grand enough that he should allow his son to follow him? He couldn't help but to start to fret internally to himself as he continued to follow the others.

It didn't help that everyone seemed to think that it was such a great idea either. It was because they were all seemingly for this idea that he said nothing... though he found himself thinking that maybe the kidnapping thing might be better. It wasn't his favorite idea but he couldn't say that the one they were going with was any better. He started to pray that Borra's father wouldn't confront him since he wasn't quite sure what he would do if the man did that. Here was to hoping that he wouldn't, that he would just believe what everyone else was saying, and let Borra come with Gyuri to learn warrior stuff...

Borra Post 11

Borra looked to Eira and his sister when the question popped up. Understandably they were worried he would blow the plan, after all he wasn't exactly the best actor and their father would know something was up if he seemed a bit too happy to be going out to 'train'. He wasn't the type to lie either.

"Uh...I can do my best." He grinned looking as if his best was probably not going to be good enough. The young man's shoulders slumped a bit at the thought of trying to outright lie to their parents so that he could join this troupe and follow his passions that his father was certainly not keen on.

Rubbing the back of his head as they walked he felt like his feet were getting heavier and heavier the closer and closer they got to home.

Sin'qua Post 11

Watching her brother she knew that look, it was the look of a guilty child plotting to do something his parents wouldn't like. A child who would probably burst into tears in the midst of the lie or soon after the lie was spoken because he felt guilty about it. This...was not going to end well. Slowing her own foot steps down she turned around and stopped directly in front of her brother, almost causing him to crash into her.

Hands on her hips she looked at him with another glowering scowl.

"I know that look, now hold still this will hurt for awhile but at least you won't have that stupid happy grin on your face.." She spat rearing her leg back and then forward in a vicious kick in the side of Borra's leg. It hurt her own foot to hit him so hard but...at least this way Borra's lack of enthusiasm for being trained would be more convincing.

"Buck up idiot, now with your leg hurting like hell you won't be bubbling with excitement and perhaps this plan will actually work." She hissed lifting her foot that she had just kicked her brother with so that is rested only lightly on the ground.

Eira Post 12

Eira crossed her arms under her chest, leaning in a bit, studying Borra closely before she finally gave a nod, "Alright, if you do your best that is probably the most that we can ask of you." She told him before she reached out to give his hair a little ruffle.

She then turned to look over at Sin'qua, nodding to her, "Now we just hope for the best that his acting is something that will be believable enough." She didn't even bother to worry about Gyuri, not really, as quiet as he was it didn't really seem as though he were the sort that would spill secrets. No, he would do his part, that much she was certain of. It was just Borra that everything seemed to hinge on, something that was a little uncertain given his somewhat childish behavior.

After Sin gave her brother a kick Eira's eyes went wide, smothering a laugh with her hand, "Come on now, no damaging my troupe members." She said, needing him to be able to walk if he was going to continue on his way home after all. After a moment she added, "Though maybe a couple bruises would make Borra's story more believable." A comment that had her smothering more laughter.
