The wind rustled the leaves and the grasses and rushes. The sky became dark with clouds, which swirled in the high breeze, an almost sickly color as the sun spiralled away beneath them. There was a greenish gray hue to them, and it seemed as though the world was buzzing all around. Through the flora, the wind created cries, whispers, whistles, howls and screams, and a lone plant bestowed with the most magnificent purple flowers whirled about, played by the wind spirits. They seemed to almost glow in the strange light that was coming filtered through the sickly clouds, and as the breeze grew stronger, the flowers seemed to still. Suddenly everything stopped, the plants all settled with a tremendous rustling, and all is silent. The magnificent purple flowers start to vibrate, to hum…the calm before the storm…

As the sickly clouds swirled, they grew greener as they went, spiralling about the sun- hypnotic, and suddenly went gray.

All the world seemed to be draped in a thin veil of gray, and as this veil swept the land, the purple flowers hummed and vibrated stronger, until the hum became an earsplitting wail, a horrendous scream unlike any other witnessed. Something seemed to be binding them, draining the life from them, the last frontier…the unknown force of the storm that held itself in the sky. The dainty, beautiful flowers began to wilt, slowly turning gray, just as the rest of the world around them, and as they turned gray, life left them in Elegant Agony, and there they sat, gray, but still beautiful…

A reminder that beauty is not lost in agony and suffering...

There was a tribe of Kin that were known for trying to spread lies and heresy through other tribes, creating hatred between creatures great and small, stirring up malice everywhere they went. The leader of this tribe was a shocking crimson and black doe, they called her the Red Queen. None of them had ever known her true name, as she was very secretive of it. She was a very beautiful doe, and her beauty was known as well as their terrible reputation. Many suitors would seek her to request her motherhood, or her partnership. While the Red Queen loved the attention, she was disinterested in any of these bucks. No amount of courtship, romance, or anything else that came with that was of any importance to her, but she was a petty and jealous doe. Though she was not interested in the strings that came with the attentions of bucks, it boiled her blood for them to pay other does any mind in her presence...

As she grew older, the Red Queen became good companions with a handsome and accomplished hunter that was called Roses Rage, who had become top informant for the tribe, and her right-hand man. She denied that they were falling in love, but that only made him try harder. She was so cold to him, at every advance, every attempt he made to finally win her, and one day he had had enough. After the time he spent, working for her, impressing her, still, she gave him nothing. Disheartened, he gave up, and soon he settled with a younger doe, one who was smart and also beautiful, though not as beautiful as the queen.

The Red Queen saw this relationship, and she became filled with rage of her own, at seeing the buck she had fallen in love with run off happily with another doe...but it had been her own fault. If only she hadn't been so cold...But that's what she was all about, and she used this realization, this anger, fueled by Jealous Rage to encourage her followers to continue spread hate and malice amongst kin...

And nobody knew what happened to Roses Rage and his pretty little friend...

She watched her limbs turn black and fall off, one by one. The infection spread to her body and soon there was nothing left of her.

Hit, sock, pop, dodge and tuck into a dirty roll. For the finishing move, a lunge complete with the satisfying crunch of a job well done. The clear sound's muddled with liquid now.

..and the beat goes on. It's business as usual.
