Shaheen did not quite see how it was unimportant to know exactly who held them, but she took it to mean that Medea didn't actually know. But that was fine, because despite her condescending demeanor, she seemed to be giving them a way to find out, though she had to wonder at how it was not their place to meddle, when it seemed that the reason they were even here was because they were doing just that. Meddling with the hierarchy, with trying to change the positions of power within the lost clans.
But in the end, they were simply here to help move things along.
"Of course, head priestess. Apologies for assuming to know what is important." She bowed her head, though the action doubled as a way to hide the agitation in her gaze at needing to apologize at all, considering they had done everything asked of them so far and were still being treated as nothing more then children.
With her instructions, Shaheen's face jerked back up sharply. It was hard to hide the sheer amount of joy she felt at the words being spoken. Destruction and havoc. Chaos. Discord. These were things that those of war knew well, that she had specialized in, the type of duties that her and Shik had gone to the human world to execute on countless numbers of occasions.
Death had put that all on pause, of course, but it had only been a matter of time before the war duo would find themselves a way to get back in the business of terrorizing humans, with or without permission.
The fact that they now had permission was just a bit of an added bonus.
With her final question, however, Shaheen took pause, biting her tongue against the words that swiftly leaped to mind. She knew what she wanted, and she knew that Shik would want the same. It was something they had discussed before, though she had been slightly surprised that his lust for power was so similar to her own, considering he had never put himself forward for such in the past.
But it had been a long time coming. They, together, had done so much. They, together had each risen to elder, and together they were putting the best interests of all horsemen to the forefront of there minds, to bring them back to the glory that they had once been. Together fighting titans, together collecting Fear, together doing whatever it took to get further ahead, not just for themselves, but for all of the lost clans.
It was about time to get some damn recognition for that.
"I will strive towards what I always have and will continue to long after this day. Power, and position to go along with it. Strength to rival even that of the heirs, if such is obtainable." She smiled, and it was not nearly enough to warm the look in her eyes.
"The clans could use a little more in the strong leadership department, and I offer myself up as such." Her eyes flickered towards Shik, to show him that she was finished with what she had to say, inviting him to speak, and hopefully say much the same, though she would be surprised, and quite disappointed, if he didn't.
