Rayolun had heard of this event from his brother Gerrarden and decided he might as well join. There was free food after all! Even if it did take him away from his warmer coastal camp to this freezing place! He saw others preparing balls of snow and decided he'd rather have a snow fort from which he could fire off snow balls. So while others were fighting, Rayolun began to construct a sturdy hip high wall to stand behind.

Senja had come here with her new troupe. Wandering off from her friend Niadra, she found herself watching the snow ball fight and decided that the guy working on the wall would make a perfect ally! Dashing over, she began to stock pile snow balls behind the wall. He gave her a small smile before going back to building. Guess he's the quiet type She thought with a shrug as she lobbed a snowball and hit the tall, big-hipped alkidike across the way. Senja laughed and ducked behind the wall from the alkidikes returning volley.

If there was anything more that Natsu loved to do it was have fun, and throwing snow around like an idiot was exactly what that was. He gathered his snowballs in a haphazard fashion, stacking them gently on top of one another, and waited for the games to begin. As each enemy snowball flew over his head he aimed a few miss balls to negate them, before throwing his own as quickly as he could.
"I won't forget this betrayal so soon, brother!" He shouted towards Rastian, teasingly. "And the same to you, Viveka dearest!"

Viveka had gathered his snow just as carefully on the Zena side of the battle, aligning each ball as perfectly as he could. However, Natsu's voice jarred him away from his careful tending, and caused him to fling two of them away in a flurry. Once he realized this, he puffed out his cheeks, and threw the rest of them harshly.
"You won't phase me, sweetheart!" He jeered, chuckling. "Rastian and I will show you just how this is done!"

While Natsu and Viveka teased each other from across the boarder, Ogbonna had taken to a different tactic. He had already constructed half of what would be a small hill to protect himself from the snow balls of others and gathered enough snow beside it to keep him from having to run forward for more every time he needed to make a snowball. Prepared as he was, only four of his shots had been dead misses, something that made him quite proud.
"Viveka, look behind you!" He shouted, tossing a snowball towards his "opponent." The sound of the other man's squeak made him want to giggle, he didn't know what hit him, literally!

Normally this pack of sailscales would have had nothing to do with the colder temperatures, but in addition to discovering a pile of snowballs, they somehow also seemed to have found a handful of lizard-sized sweaters that kept them warm while they joined in the fight. They weren't terribly accurate, but they seemed to be having a fine time dropping snow on the citizens of Zena anyway.

Rastian watched as Ogbonna's snowball collided with Viveka's backside, eliciting a fury of giggles from the Healer's mouth. Oh, that was too good, even if his team lost a point for it! No matter, he would earn those points back, and then some!
"Okay, nephew, your turn to feel the chill!" He said, throwing his snowballs quickly over the boarder. However, half missed their targets by a mile and half veered too far to make an actual dent, but they still counted. He'd have to work on his aiming.

Pahana didn't know exactly why she wanted to challenge her brother like this. It was a little childish, required a lot of good aiming skills, and could cause her to get frostbite. However, as she and her Alkidike "sister" lined up on the other side and gazed over to their beloved brother, she couldn't help but fall prey to the deviousness of it all.
"Catch this one, Yaho!" She squealed, hurling a snowball towards the Massif. To her surprise, it hit him dead on! Oh, no, now she had to be on her toes, he was bound to come back with a vengeance for that!

A blind guy snow ball fighting, it probably wasn't the most fair thing in the world and likely wouldn't score all that many points of his team but Makani could really care less. The idea of going out to play in the snow with a bunch of other people had sounded like nothing but fun to him! He didn't care that the odds weren't in his favor, all he wanted was to try! He didn't even care that he would most likely miss every single throw, so long as he was having fun that was all that mattered, right? Besides, this would be a good a time as any to practice the skills that he had been honing of late, those that Oggie had helped him with not that long ago. This would just be a more complicated version of the game that he was playing with the other prentice, right?
He'd of course had to okay the whole thing with his father first, the idea one that put Herluin on edge a bit given that Makani couldn't see, but it would appear that so long as Eira went with him he was allowed to play. His sister hadn't been pleased, she was busy 'putting her troupe together' but decided that she could take a break from it if only to scout out potential members amongst the other snowball throwers or so she'd said. In the end since it was just snowballs that were being thrown about and not something more dangerous Herluin figured it should be alright even for his precious children.

"Nice one, Pahana!" Tahigwa cried, nudging Pahana on the shoulder. In truth, she was happy to see Yaholo get hit with at least one snowball, he had always complained about the cold. She mulled the idea over in her head as she packed another snowball, and aimed it straight for Yaholo's head. As soon as she was sure she had the right spot, she let it fly, smacking him right on target.
"Yes! A two-for-two! IN YOUR FACE!" She cackled.

Not really Eira's thing, snowball fighting, but if nothing else maybe she could find someone here amongst the snow slinging masses who would be useful to her and her group? Though looking at how many people were here she felt that she probably should have brought Gyuri along, he would have made a good wall to hide behind to avoid being hit by snow. It was the man's job after all to keep her safe and not letting her get pelted with snow would fall under that category if you asked her. No such luck in her being able to plan that far ahead though given that her getting dragged her was a last minute thing forced upon her by her family members.
Giving a sigh she nudged at the snow with her boot feeling very little desire to actually throw any of it herself... that was until she got hit. Her eyes went wide, a huffing sound escaping from her lips, and she was quick to retaliate. She supposed for one day she could take a little break and throw snow. She just had to also recall her prime reason for being here. She'd search for new troupe members between throws.

Beneath the snow covering Yaholo's face was a grimace that could send a shiver up your spine. This stuff BURNED, but... In the same sense, it was kind of refreshing. He supposed that's why Rastian and the others liked it so much, the cool feel. He sighed, wiped the remaining snowflakes off his brow, and picked up a few snowballs. The first four he hurled didn't make it over the boarder, something that made his sisters giggle from the other side.
"Don't be so proud, karma will bite you in the butt eventually!" He warned, smirking.
He tossed three more of the snowballs he had, each landing over the boarder, before throwing the last three towards his sisters. The first one hit Tahigwa, the second smacked Pahana, and the third veered straight for Rastian. A three for three, pretty good!
