"Thankyou, sir, it's a kind offer. But you misunderstand me, I think. I was coming here to find Ithi and learn her fate when my children caught me unawares on your border."
She admitted this with some embrassement, since as her second litter, she should have probably known her time was short. But then, last time an earthquake had triggered the birth. That and she was yet to slim down and still looked rather on the heavy side, enough she still looked pregnant. Getting to her feet, she bowed her semi-maned head.
"They were born not three days ago. I'm a little weary and they'll need me often but I'm ready to help hunt or lend a paw in anyway... Thankyou."
Rahima felt conflicted, her emotions still haywire from hormones. She felt grateful and awed that the Mistweavers were not causing her harm in reflected revenger for her sons doings. And at the same time felt horrified at the thought of his death at their paws. Another tiny voice spoke of justice, and another called herself a vile betrayer.
"As for the plans for my eldest...besides bringing the bird to you, I'd like nothing more to do with it, please, Maji. It's so hurtful."

"Yes, of course." He tilted his head slightly, "I could not ask a mother to have a paw in the punishment of her own son... I'm sorry to have exposed our plans for him to you."
He hadn't expected her to actually stay for long- the lioness seemed a bit uncomfortable here- and the way Ithi acted... perhaps her opinion of the place and the lions had been soiled beyond repair, "You're free to leave whenever you wish, we just ask that you help protect this place and speak nothing of what you've seen here. You see, while it's nice to have kind words of us spread about, it also allows for enemies to believe that we're too weak to defend ourselves. It's best that they're left guessing between if we're still around or if we're dangerous..." He cleared his throat, "To any effect, I will not expect you to aid with hunts. Have your little ones and raise them to be old enough to fend for themselves, you are a free lioness here and among friends rather than a pride. Make yourself at home and feel free to call on us for anything."

"Thankyou, again. It is wondeful to have a home at long last."
And with that she smiled properly- albeit little sheepishly -, shrugged off her worries and hushed her mental voices. Let there be no conflict. She was welcome. They had a home! That was enough. Let it be easy. Nevermind her disowned son. Her current sons...safe. That was a dream come true.
She slipped easily back into her usual mannersims now she felt safer and accepted. Her posture became less taunt and proper. No more hormonal moodswings or polite 'sirs'. Just kinder and friendlier. Rahima looked all the better for it.
"I shall see you about, I expect...good bye for now, Maji." The simple red lionness left with a mind to return to the den she smelt of and the little milk-drinkers she loved so dearly.
((Thanks Thal - think this'll be a good end for this RP.))
