Himeko let out a soft cheer as Horus announced the feast, the sound of her tribe jewelry jingling while she swept her tail around her settled haunches. She hadn't come with her husband, making it a little harder to find the 'Phim within the large crowd. She could still remember when the tribe was smaller, but she didn't miss it. She liked the numbers of faces she bumped into during her duties, although she did miss her sister. Well, life moved on and as far as she knew, Hollow was happy. That's all she could ask for.
Well, she had one more request in life, but that one needed her husband. Who she still couldn't find. Her slit pupils contracted sharply as she let loose a soft and nervous sigh. "Excuse me," she asked the nearest person to her. "Have you seen Kaname anywhere?"

“Hello Isaiah” Horus greeted back. He almost brought up that the younger male didn’t have to call him sir but he still hadn’t gotten Charon to stop addressing him formally either. Some people just liked offering up respect. Horus would try again when isaiah had been there a bit longer. He looked at the male, definitely spotting the nervousness. Ah his first flood. Yep, Horus recognized the tone. “If I know Persephone and amatsu they’ve probably caught up on all the scribe work that is needed for the feast.” Horus replied. Since it wasn’t his first rodeo on new tribe members, he knew some of them could get overwhelmed. After all this year the Iteru had flooded pretty well. It could be a bit shocking to go from less water, to tons of water and suddenly a lot of greenery. “We still need to set up the feast, if you can find one of the fellah, most likely rynn or xylara tell them I sent you over to help?”
“DemonBoyWonderr”
Eirene “Oh, hi there Himeko. Lovely day isn’t it. So glad we got the flood mostly on time.” Eirene spoke up having heard the smaller female. “As for Kana, well he’s overworking like normal. Since we have a small shortage on seasoned fellah and hunters this year he’s off helping the hunters with the food. Horus won’t be free for a while so I don’t have a family to celebrate with, I can go track him down and switch out with him.” she was a bit sad, but both her and her brother had bad luck in the romance department. Still they had family in the form of the tribe and if she could help some spouses have some time together, well hey then being single wasn’t so bad. “Of course some one might have seen him earlier than of course dawn….”
Rynn was busy with set up. Rather she was busy with setup and had drafted several poor suspecting foxes to help her with set up. The feast of anket got bigger and bigger with every year and more mouths to feed so it was only natural she got others to help, and given the fact she was so old in the tribe she could remember when the kits got into trouble and all their embarrassing stories over the years… needless to say she could get the now all grown up brats to help her. “Akem I need you to fetch another water jug from the temple. The scribes have the numbers all set up but we will need to haul it out if you all want to have fresh water for the feast unless you wanna try sipping with the crocs in the water.” She saw the male roll his eyes but he moved off to help anyway which was good enough.
Irecian watched his brother get ordered around by Rynn and had to laugh. She still used the same kind of lines when they were kits and the old bat had had them help in the past. Some things never changed though he new there were a lot of small changes over time. The old bat had another set of grandkits who were new to the tribe. And of course there was a new member here and there over the years. He was considering skating out of the tribe for a while to find a date to bring home, but that also seemed like a pain. Overhead the shadow of a phim passed quickly. He moved to look busy but he was just slowly moving to get out of extra work.

Robin Hood was out in the lands looking for food to feed the tribe. As he haunted a fond smile graced his muzzle. He remembered when he had first come a crossed his mate Rynn. She had some how ended up very far away from her tribe, this tribe, and into Robin's area. He wasn't exactly sure why she was out so far other then his lovely mate had a horrible sense of direction. She probably wouldn't admit it but it was true. That's okay he loved her anyway. Goodness he must be getting old seeing as his mind was wandering further and further on things in the past instead of things in the present like providing food for his family and the new members. With that back in the front of his mind he got back to work.
The flood was here it was time to celebrate or in Sasha's case hide...from her mother. As her mother was one of the oldest fellah she had done this celebration a time or two and she liked things to be perfectionist. She was traveling with her son into the heart of the tribe from their dwelling outside it. While Sasha loved her family they could be overwhelming at times so she had decided that with her mate Asche they raised their kids a little further from the hustle and bustle of the main tribe area. Not to far away where they weren't involved but far enough that they could have some peace and quite from time to time. Glancing back at her son she commented "Come on we should go see Horus and see if he wants us to help your grandfather or your grandmother."
Sosuke followed quietly behind his mother. He could tell her mind was a whirlwind just like she claimed that his grandmother's was all the time. It made him chuckle softly. They did say that the child ended up being very similar to the parent. He would suppose he probably took after his mother Asche more with hints of Sasha but he was okay with that. What had him a bit on edge was this was his first celebration and while he knew a fair amount of the other tribe members he didn't know everyone that was going to be there. "Yes mother," he said softly.
Wren was hiding from her mother, well not hiding but keeping busy telling other the time of the feast which could take a while given the size of the tribe. She was going to have her kids helping her on this but she had to find them first. As she loved being able to spend time with her kids no matter how big they got. “Amaltheia. They are reading the feast and setting up now.” She smiled at the purple phim. Like most of Persephone's family she was a good phim who could often be convinced to take kits for flights and help with tasks. “I see so then am I getting drafted for carry duty or information like yourself?” Ama smiled at the smaller fox and stood up in the shade of the pyramid. She had been cooling off for a bit after flying as the sunlight was strong today. She had grown up in the tribe and while younger then Wren the two were good friends. So she knew enough to know Rynn must be going a bit crazy with set up. “Some things never change. Still it should be a good feast this year. I’ll go help set up but I will hunt you down and drop you off if you try and skip out on clean up.” She tried to make a glare but it wasn’t very believable and they both knew it and shared a laugh.

At the sound of cheering, Kijini raised her head from the parchment she had been quietly working on, charcoal tally marks neatly arranged all across the page laid out before her. Kept busy for most of the day so far, she had been keeping an inventory of necessities around the tribe: jugs of water, empty vessels, specific types of food... It wasn’t particularly exciting work, but it was a task that needed doing. Squinting in the direction of Horus and other tribe members, she quickly realized that celebration had officially begun, foxes moving to and fro busily as they began preparations for... something. “Interesting... I wonder what we’re celebrating?” She muttered, mostly to herself, “Which... which festival is it, now?” As her gaze swept over the majority of the tribe, her eyes eventually looked towards the horizon, and it was then that she realized the change in scenery: the Iteru had flooded.
“So Ahket is upon us. I see! Well then, I guess I’m done with this.” Mumbling around the crude piece of charcoal in her mouth, Kijini carefully tucked it behind her ear before rolling the pages she had up neatly. As one of the newer members of the tribe, Kijini couldn’t help the mix of nervousness and excitement that rose at the thought of the festivities. Would it be fun? Would her mate - she was still getting used to calling Clem that, geeze - enjoy things? Snatching the bundle of documents in her mouth, she began to make her way towards the rest of the tribe. It... was going to be a very busy day.
... ... ...
Recruited almost immediately by Rynn to help assist with setup for the feast, the pixie was busy keeping track of the tribe’s food supply: what they were planning on eating during the feast, how much they would need to hunt and gather later on to make up for it, so on and so forth. She gave a soft sigh, pinning down the pages she had been counting on with a paw (she didn’t want a gust of wind blowing away all of her work, after all). She had begun to grow tired. No, tired wasn’t the right word... Bored, maybe?
Finding a relatively safe spot to stash her paperwork (thank you, rock. Rocks™: nature’s paperweight), Kijini made her way over to one of the foxes that looked the least occupied at that moment: Irecian. Pretending to look busy alongside him, she gave him a gentle bump with her shoulder. “Heeeeey, Irecian. Working hard, I see.” Giving him a sly smile and a friendly wag of her tail, she glanced around the area before turning her attention back to him. “I, um... you haven’t seen Clementine today, have you?”

Here Irecian, have a new friend. >8D <3

A private look into Kijini's thoughts: "BooOOOOoOOOOOoOOOOOORED... i'm dying of boredom. work is slowly but surely killing me. i may soon perish. please. where my girlfriendwife at."
The pale pixie came up and was ‘helping him’ for a moment before bumping and asking her question. “pfft. The day I actually work hard my coat will turn white and I’ll be reduced to dust. So clearly I can’t let that happen.” He was just being a brat and gave himself and overly dramatic tone just to play it up. She was new to the tribe but a good fox in his mind. He thought about her question for a moment before shaking his head. “Sorry no. I haven’t seen Clementine today.” He snuck a quick peek at Rynn seeing she was busy with something else as a phim had landed and was speaking to her and looked back to Kijni. “And if you don’t want to end up getting dragging into set up and cleaning then we’d best be off now to find our escape now before Rynn goes off and looses her mind with some other monotonous task that will eat up hours of our day.” He eyed the paperwork the scribe had brought and had an idea. He moved to snag it quickly. “ Come on let’s get going. ....RYNN OFF FOR SCRIBE THINGS TO ION SEE YA.” He nudged the pixie to make their escape now while rynn was busy with a white phim. His mind and eyes were screaming Go, Go, Go! He would help the search for Clementine and should they run into Ion he would drop off whatever scribbles these were with the other scribe. The fact he was going to head away from the temple he knew Ion should be at was a total coincidence.

Sasha rolled her eyes as Archer brought her some little flower her mate had brought her. It was cute but he was so sappy. She couldn’t believe the change with the flood of the river. “It’s nuts.” She felt him nuzzle her and relaxed a bit. She leaned into him and nuzzled him back very glad he took the time to spoil her. There was a feast they had to get to but they were going to savor this little minute.
“It is amazing, but not as amazing as you are.” He smiled softly at his mate. She seemed rough around the edges but was sweet in her heart. The fact she was here following him all the way to what she had once called a ‘dust bowl’ of a tribe lands. It had taken some time but she had warmed up to the tribe and the lands but was still annoyed when some one called out Sasha and meant his sister rather then his lovely mate. He understood that so he took the time to call his mate his sweet sasha or miss sasha no matter how long it was so she knew there was a difference in their names no matter what just to help put her at ease.
Kepi Kepi yawned as she walked her new companion back to the tribe. Amasis had wanted to be there for his mother if he could help it and so while today had been his turn to patrol the northern region, well kepi had switched with him. There had been a lot of disappearing lately and well kepi had been a victim too, but she got over it. She wasn’t the type to be depressed for so long. She hadn’t expected to run into some one at the edge of tribe lands. Apparently they had talked with some one about joining the tribe…. Weird day to actually do it but deities worked in weird a** ways..especially their three. Luckily they were on the right side of the river to get to the main tribe hub…. As it was quiet obvious that the river had flooded… majorly. It was still with in the bounds of being extremely helpful and not overly flooded. “Eh maybe today wasn’t the best time.”
Inara “Oh well festivals are a great time to meet everyone… and well this hopefully should guarantee everyone is here right?” Inara asked. She had been traveling for a while and always found festivals were a good way to judge the tribe. Everyone was in good spirits and you got to see the culture usually in action. She hadn’t been sure about joining but something had just drawn her there. However kemet was way larger than she was expecting. Ah well she was generally sociable. “Anything I should know?” She asked not wanting to fall into any pitfalls.
“You should check in with one of the phims, the red one is your best bet or Horus but he’s likely less accessible at the moment.” Was kepi’s reply. She spotted one of the tribe members nearby with it looked like their son. Kepi wasn’t the best at bothering with names although she remembered them. “Yo sosuke, Sasha… you seen our elder or I’ll take a phim yet. We got a new tribe member.”

Asche was speaking with Rynn about the clean up pit already being worked on for after the feast. She would be carrying food off as part of clean up. The converstation was short enough and soon Asche was off to go back and help her daughter when she saw her mate and child. Landing a short ways away she trotted up very pleased to see Sosuke following to help Sasha. He was a good reliable child who made her proud. Nodding at him she moved to nuzzle and greet her mate as was expected.
Serenity was shoulder high digging a sand pit and annoyed by every minute of it though it would be hard to tell just looking at her. Her head shot up over the pit edge and looked at the phim who was supposed to be helping her. The spoiled brat was looking over her paws and complaining about the sand around though clearly there was none in her fur. “Assist or else.”
“Or else what you sand rat?” Proserpina flipped a sleeve at the sand covered vixen. Just because she had been assigned to this task didn’t mean she had to kill herself to get it done. She wanted to look good for the feast not like some kind of monster walking out of a sand storm. Did this vixen even understand how long it took sand to get combed out of her curls? Honestly. A shadow passing overhead made her cringe. Nope it wasn’t Asche yet so she had time to come up with an excuse to escape pit duty. Squinting she tried and noticed the shadow had been her brother. Perfect. “Off to see Pluto. I’m sure you can handle this yourself.” She kicked off to fly up not caring if anything ended up back in the pit. She was pretty sure she heard the other vixen say something nasty but well too late to care now after all~ “Brother~”
Pluto had his paws full at the moment. He had several small bits of prey he was carrying from the temples to the feast when his sister came up. “Pros.” He was surprised she didn’t have her paws full with a task. “All done already.” He heard her snort and realized she had ditched her tasks. “Don’t let mom find out or she’ll get after you.” It was true of both their mothers so he didn’t pick which he meant.

Akem made it to the temple to fetch water like he had been told when he noticed a small permakit working with a phim to clean off lids to put on pots for those carrying water. “Greetings Ritilanishia, Iokaste.” He no more greeted them then noticed his mother struggling to take out a water container while having a bunch of papers in her mouth. Jumping forward to help her she mumbled something at him but he didnt’ understand before she was off again back into the darkness of the temple. He looked confused at the phim nearby.
“She said next is the wine.” Ritilanishia was amused when Ion had seemed so happy to check her numbers and realize a honey wine was ready to use this year and would make a good surprise for the feast. She was looking forward to having it with her own mate so she certainly wasn’t going to stop the scribe from running down and collecting it. “Io and I will be liding these if you want to go help.” It wasn’t a suggestion or a question but a request and off the younger male went to help his mother. He was a pretty good kid. Not as good as hers of course but she was biased. She helped balance the large lid over the pot that had just been brought out. “ready?”
“Ready!” Io focused super super hard on the edge of the pot making sure that as glittermomma lowered the lid it fit right on the open spot so there was no spaces and no leaks. It made them easier for the other foxes to carry and it was HER job to make sure the lids were clean of all sand so none got in the water. She did her job perfectly. “Yes! We got it.” Glittermomma seemed pleased so she would tell Lightningmomma how good a job she did later.

Kore “Ah did little sis ditch you, she really needs to stop doing that. I’ll have a mommy talk with her. I can help if you want?” Kore asked popping up from well, only Atum was probably sure. Point was she had totally seen what proserpina had done. It was only right as the elder sister to help out serenity even if she was extremely tiny, but she could try to shave off a few minutes. Jaci, when jaci had been around, had taught her a lot on how to get stuff a normal fox had no problem doing done. It may take her a bit longer but she was just as cabable as the bigger adults.
Fyra went around the tribe, gathering her family members that expressed interest in sticking around the tribe and had yet to meet Horus. "Come on all of you. If you want to stay in the tribe, we need to get approval." Shaking her head, more at herself for completely forgetting to do this when they were younger, the vixen couldn't believe how hard it was to round up the adults compared to kits.
Lanaki stood in a partial shaded area, laughing at his mother. Yes, he could go and help her get his siblings and kid, but this was the most fun he had in a while. After more good laugh, as his mother went right around his son, Lanaki went to go see what help he could do for the festivities going on. "Most likely gathering more supplies. Never knew how much food we really went through with these activities lately." Getting a bit lost in thought about where to gather food, the fox didn't see his half siblings near by.
Teliku, sitting right out in the open, waiting to be told to do something to help, watched his grandmother go by talking about the family. Cocking his head, he figured it might be a good thing to follow her and see what exactly she meant. Staying back far enough to not be noticed, but close enough to see which direction Fyra would go, he was practicing for being a scout or hunter. Never know when he might be sent out to help or maybe even join those ranks.
Matila jumped out from a bit of sand. "So big brother, what do you think you are doing?" Really she was surprised he hadn't pinched her paws with the way he was walking. It was quite strange to see him distracted that she could make him jump. As he told her what their mother was doing, she could only smirk and shake her head. "I see she forgot we have already been accepted and marked. Except your boyo." It was fun to tease Lanaki, as only siblings should.
Adahy twitched an ear. He heard mumbling about being a part of the tribe, but who had said..."Ah Fyra." He nodded to himself, moving some sand out of the way for a container of food to be set near by. With a little nod to the group he was around, the pink fox trotted to where he found his nephew stalking Fyra. "Now this will be interesting. Tempting as it is to watch his skills, Mother should be told." With that in mind, he took a round about way to get to the vixen and tell her she was being tracked. "Also, Teliku is the only one of us that needs some official meeting." He turned his head, so she could see the tattoo.
Fyra sighed. "I thought you all needed to see him. How did I forget you have already?" Laughing at herself, she waited for her grandson to arrive. "I guess just you need to get your mark."
Nasaki
Not sure if we want/need more roles filled, but Teliku is available for it if needed.
