"Whoa..." Finally, Xuza had enough of her own indignation, overcome by the gravity of all this new information.
No one would mind if she pulled up a chair,
would they? Believe me when I say her hand trembled a bit; she had meant to reach for a chair with her powers, but stopped herself;
she finally came to sit across from the scientist the old-fashioned way.
"I remember that!" She let herself be amazed,
perhaps for the first time in years. "--I mean,
they had mentioned something about the Grim Times. Anyway, who is you mother? Don't tell me there's some big kingpin in this whole operation..." She chuckled a little, waiting,
hoping to be proven wrong. For what it was not clear; something about the way this was all building up was a bit unsettling.

While the information about the Tsuchikage was known she had never heard Egil mention his family. Every so often a young girl would come visit but no one could infer anything about her and Egil's relationship. Egil holds up his hand and winks . " K'eheheheh. Spoilers. Lets just say she's taken an interesting in you" Egil continues to eat.

"T-Taken an interest!" Stammered the meister, palms flat on the table. Her head dropped. "I... Thank you for helping me," she said rather shrunkenly into the mirrored surface of the table. She managed to shake it off and sit down again, fidgeting nervously as she watched the man.
"So... what now?" she asked, giving up control for the time being.

She continues eating her candies in a huff. Egil had a habit of stopping things before they got juicy. The man pauses to eat and then speaks. " I would like to offer my assistance. Well I would like for you to teach me how your power works. I analyzed the data we collected from your battle as well and the battle between Mr.Decus and Paradox. As our abilities are almost similar I belive training under you would benefit me greatly. "

"What??" Xuza couldn't believe what she was hearing. She turned ninety degrees and placed an elbow down on the table to cradle her head, which had threatened to fall on the table--there was a lesser thud, of course. A flick of the fingers:
exclamation points, perhaps.
"That's a good one, mister," she began, scoffing in disbelief. "I should've already known you were kidding. You seem like one of those--" snap, snap--"casual Friday bosses.
There's no way; all of you guys are way stronger than me. I've quite enough beatings for one day, thanks."

" K'ehehehehe Well of course they are. They have had hundreds of years to refine thier abilities. You'll never get anywhere unless you try to find your own strength. I can see why thier methods were ineffective now. You were so concerned with the difference between thier power and you own that you didn't even recognize the lessons they tried to impart on you.

"Whoa whoa whoa..."
Xuza scoffed, rearing up a bit. "I thought we were talking about you here, not me." She fluttered her fingers. "What was it, 'a pile of meat?'" She bawked. "That was about an hour ago, right? Forgive me if I don't jump at the chance to go through that--" She stopped herself, dead cold.
"Wait... You need this, don't you?" She smirked. "You wanna catch up to the others!
Cool... Hmmm..." She took a moment to think it over. "Well... I do owe you." And now a grinding on both sides of her head. "UGHHH!
Fiinnee!" She huffed, plopping an arm on the table.

Yakō's candies were world famous and the temptation to try some of her latest creations was to amazing to pass up. Egils eye momentarily flash in a indigo hue before returning to normal. He then smirks and retorts.. " K'ehehehehe. There you go again! Despite being warned you agreed to the training. You have only yourself to blame. I envy you for only having to deal with one shade. When I went thru the training I had to deal with five shades. Well that's one reason K'ahahahha. Well if your not busy we can get started after you've eaten.

Damnit...! He's got me. Can't really be too assertive here; the guy just wants to train in exchange for saving my life, after all...
"Fine," she sighed, "as long as I don't end up..." She cringed. "Like that."
Lunch was pretty decent. She was expecting one of those weird vacuum-packed things with the flavor range of the back of an envelope,
despite having seen the man with a plate full of wholesome. Pleased to be wrong, for the first time in a very long time. Times like this proved, perhaps, a function for mistakes in the first place...
But I digress. Xuza was beginning to feel better. Time seemed to move slower now that the pressure was off her. She had everything:
shower, food, nice swivel chair in which to eat it... Yes, she was living the life; she wondered to herself why no one had expected anything great from her in this moment, sufficiently distracted; but, once it was over, she knew exactly how wrong she might have been,
looking at the--what might one call him--mad scientist?--'s face.
"I, uh..." She looked up unsteadily. "I think I'm ready."

☸ ☸ ☸Egil Armani Gitsune ☸ ☸ ☸ ☸ The Mad Machina Acting CEO of Gitsune Industries Cho-Ko calls in the kitchen staff and helps them clean up;careful to stash anything left over for herself. Her Master always found someway to get what he wanted and it seemed Xuza was his latest victim. Maybe there was some truth to the Schemer E nickname Egil's subordinates had coined for the young scientist. Still Cho-ko was curious to the nature of this so called training. Maybe she'd be able to witness her bosses true self. After hearing Xuza except his offer Egil was genuinely happier. After finishing his meal he motioned for Xuza to follow him to one of the testing areas. Once they entered he walked over to a rack of safety armor and but on a helmet and a vest. " Whenever your ready.

Xuza Uriel: "Angel of Death"
Xuza followed with a small nod, not quite able to bring herself to speak for fear it may have been something less civil or intelligent than she would have liked. She tried not to take her eyes off the boss-man for the same wariness, but couldn't help marveling in sparse glances at the layout of the facility.
Each new section she entered seemed to be a different personality, as though she was touring a space full of important people rather than cold metal. The scale was impressive, yes, but there was something else which fascinated the meister. She had always liked science, after all...
"Cool place," offered Xuza. "Is there... Anything for me?" She was, at the moment, without arms.

Though instead of following them Egil oddly remains still. Melee weapons weren't really his forte. " I seem to recall you had wings. Can you not rely on them currently?

"Hm?" Xuza rolled her shoulder blade, allowing one of her wings to appear. It was diamond white and very still.
"I don't think so..." She shrugged and demonstrated her power by using it to fetch a sword that would fit her style off the rack.
"No, definitely not a problem--thank goodness," she added, very much relieved.
"I just didn't think to have them out."

Egil comes over to inspect the new devlopment. Was it a genetic trait? A skill on could learn? What are they made off? These and other such inquiries were churning in Egil's mind. " So they aren't an involuntary function. That's curious. What exactly are they made off.

"Involuntary? No, I wouldn't say so," answered the meister, somewhat amused at his level of curiosity.
"But I wouldn't say they don't have a mind of their own. I can bring them out or put them away; after that, I can warp and control electromagnetism to a degree." She went ahead and started to demonstrate, warping her hands all over the area.
"The only problem is," she continued as her wings began to slowly take on a grey tone,
"they get heavy if I keep warping--don't ask me why; all this stuff is beyond me," she shrugged, "not nearly smart enough to figure out what these are made of..."
