The pilot went about his duties, checking the scans and attending to the psionic viewscreens of the fluidic space around them within his mind. The ship was engineered to handle many more tasks at once, and thus began a more active conversation, Everyone has a purpose, Terra was it? We detonate stars and replace them with energy and minds your so called King gathers to maintain balance in your universe. He truly is a mean to an end, a beautiful end. Even if your knowledge is not helpful, a life as a star is a wonderful gift. True immortality. No pain. No worries. Only beauty and light. Something akin to the afterlife of several of your race's religions.

She rolled again onto her other side, and a frown curved across her lips. I don't want to end, I don't want this life you offer me. I have another purpose, filled with pain and worry, but I accept it. Why me? Go find someone else to be this star. Her voice spoke softly, sounding strained. For a moment she just stayed on the floor, but finally she sat up and dragged herself back towards the glowing bumps on the floor. She was thinking now, thinking hard about what to do and how to get away.

As she made her way closer to the restraining area the use of her legs would slowly return. The ship seemed rather apathetic, Its not your choice to make. We need the knowledge you have to better combat our enemy. If we become able to focus energy like you can with your crystals, we could end the war and spare innoc...Sir! Quantum Singularitiy detected. I see it! Theres no one scheduled to make a jump today, especially not in our escort. What in the name of Dran`nai? Borg Tactical Assault Cube incoming. Initiating Evasive Manuevers. All ships, hold of that cube! Someone contact the Council, the rendevou point to exchange the package has been compromised. Yes Admiral Akaran`ni! Hold onto something miss, this is going to get ugly. The ship seemed to enter a spin as it surged forward through the liquid medium they knew as space. The artificial gravity within the beast of a ship would not keep her glued to the floor, and would likely toss her around like a rag doll.

She huffed, and sat up from the floor. She tilted her head slightly as she suddenly heard and felt the tension in the air. What? She looked around for something to hold onto, but found hereslf suddenly flung against the wall. Of course as she left the restraining area, not her fault of course, she couldn't move her body and was thus flung around.

Out in Fluidic Space the escort had slip into two groups, one shielding the admiral while the rest moved to combat the new threat. A group of nine broke off from the main defensive force and began channeling a beam powerful enough to tear a planet asunder. Their attempts were met with a type of EMP that was intended to disrupt the electrical impulses of the Sra`xa`diin, their ships included. The defense force was decimated immediately.
The admiral was preparing a jump back to normal space, any location would be better than being near that cube. The two began to shoot back and forth as their control over Terra ceased, any state she was in would be counteracted immediately, f the escort was obliterated in one shot! I know, I'm watching too you simpleton! Get us out of here, now! Their main weapon is power up again! Break off from the escort shield, mask our life signs and make us look like a decoy as much as you can. Sir? The Borg are too smart to go after a decoy, take out the larger numbers and then perform cleanup. Their conventional weaponry can hold off a single bioship. Affirmative.

She groaned, now in the corner of the room, dizzy, and had the biggest headache. There was danger she was sure, she was frightend, for the first time in such a long time she was frightend. She waited, laying on the floor, thinking to herself. This threat, what was it, could she possibly take it out, dare she try. She bit her bottom lip and took a breath.

The ship itself seemed to be turning through the fluid medium, centering on heading away from its bretheren like a mere coward trying to save itself. As the blast issued forth from the tactical cube voices began to well up within Terra's mind, not unlike those of the Dominion, but they were quickly snuffed out. Despite this assault the admiral continued his retreat and the borg began to follow. The ship began to shudder as the two continued their 'polite' coversation, Get us out of here, prepare a jump! I'm trying! Its a bit difficult when being shot at, you know! Don't give me excuses dammit, give me results! AyeEEEEE A strike hit home, hitting a location on the great beast of a ship that wasn't heavily armored. Energy pulsed through the ship as a sensation of pain caused the entire beast the shudder. Beam after beam impacted the heavily fortified ship before finally it all ceased, the ship passed through a quantum singularity and back into real space, adrift and damaged.

Voices, Terra snapped out of her daze and began to listen. But before she could understand they ceased. It seemed like ages until the attack finally seemed to stop. She could feel the energy and slowly sat up off the floor. Pain, she hated pain, and unable to stop herself she placed her hands on the floor. A healing energy then pulsed from her body through the floor, despite her mind screaming at her to stop, she had to help in her own little way, wether it would work or not she didn't know really. The ship seemed alive, with energy, so maybe it can be repaired in a way with energy. She closed her eyes, and let her energy flow from her into the floor, and she was able to see, see the damage that was caused. Could she fix it? Manipulate her energy to mend and repair. She frowned, unsure of herself, and lifted her hands off the floor, the energy ceasing.

The outter hull was badly burned and torn apart by the attack, and several internal systems had been damaged. In a human they could be related to the lungs kidneys and several bones. At first the healing was rejected, but slowly it came to be accepted, the attention of both pilot and ship focusing on Terra. As she stopped their voice came as one in her mind, How did you do that?

She took another deep breath and began again. She began to mend the hull of the ship, manipulating the energies. She heard their voices, and growled softly. Its just something I do. Her voice was soft and weak, she finally fell back onto her back, exhuasted and the energy flow stopped form her, but at lest the repairs were complete. Can I go back home now please?

Slowly the pilot came into view, a grey fluid running down one side of his face, You healed the ship in mere moments. You are more valuable than we thought. We cannot release you and I think merely the Council of War would not be enough, our Elders must meet with you. We must bestow upon you an even greater honor, for you alone may be able to end this war.

She choked back a breath, and turned her head to stare at the creature as it approached. I should have left the ship as is...damn me and my kind heart. She sighed, rolled onto her side and closed her eyes. She was silent for a moment before her voice was heard again. I can do nothing for this war.

He laugh filled her mind, You could have left it, yes, but we would have healed eventually. I really appreciate it though. Shut up. You can do more than you think, such healing can be useful. Will you tell me exactly how you did it?

I don't how I did it, its just something I was always able to do. Call forth the energy, bring it to you, then control it. Her voice murmerd, sounding tired, depressed. Why, can't you guys call energy to you? Its everywhere.

He shook his head, We have never encountered this phenomenon. It took us millenia to produce genetic alteration techniques that would implant such a high regeneration rate into ourselves and our cloned counterparts. Energy we employ is such that is produced in weapons and to power facilities, not to emply as you have and literally control by yourself. This...intrgues me.
