With one look at Chel, he had realized that maybe...he shouldn't have stood there and talked about how much he liked Solia. Nor have gotten into this subject in the first place.

"R-remember the t-tear?" He asked. "I b-believe it affected her memories..."

He then kept quiet and focused on his food instead.

Chel squinted, trying to go that far back in her memory. "Ah yeah- I kinda remember something like that. Ironically I don't remember much of the tear." It had been weird, and even weirder since she was a newbie to Deus at that time, but most of it was a blur to Chel.

"Well that sucks. I mean at least she's not with another dude. That'd be the worst," Chel said, nodding. "I mean- if you won her over once, you can do it again right? Lay on the charm and s**t." She said as much with a mouthful of hamburger. Attractive.

Her burger had finally come to an end and she leaned back. "Aw man that was good dude. We gotta do it again sometime, yeah?"

Nodding along, Jason listened quietly, also finishing what the rest of his current burger as he made up another one. He had came to the same conclusion; try and woo her over a second time. At the very least he would see if it was a fluke or not.

"mm mhmhmm-!" He went to say, but coughed on his food. later after he had drank some water he continued. "Sure, 'cough' I'd be happy to cook you something again." Exactly how many people had he cooked for now?

Chel gave the guy a thumbs up. "Sweet. It was cool meeting you Jason. Good luck with your lady friend," she said, cheerfully picking up her dish and walking towards the sink to wash it.

She gestured and said, "I can wash the dishes man. That way you can back to studying and s**t." Seemed like a fair enough trade to her.

"It was good meeting you too Chel," Smiling warmly at her, Jason loaded up a plate with as much food as he could pile up. For later of course. "T-thankyou, that would be great, I'd help as well but, I need to start a shift soon. And thankyou, I'l try".

He walked out of the kitchen at a brisk pace, feeling a little guilty he wasn't staying behind to wash the dishes. But she had offered, right? He'd have to do them next time
