Maybe it would just be easier if he ignored the girl and acted like she wasn't there. He'd have to accept the fact that she was with them during the fights, since she charged in and remorselessly assaulted their Dragon opponents, anyway. but other than that, there really wasn't much to say for her. If she wanted to be a priss, then fine. But Mae and Darke were on their very first adventure together and he wouldn't let her ruin it!

Darke hummed quietly in approval of Mae's resolve. For all their presence mattered, they could just sit in the background and play together while the Hybrid cleaned house. Ruffling his feathers, Darke blew a small breath of frosty air across the ground. Giggling, Mae ran at it, sliding across the glassy surface and into the next room. he skidded to a stop as the frozen path ended, with Darke sliding along behind him until the two crashed together into the seemingly empty room. It was the Keindred that looked up first, following the other Drakein's gazes to spot a Firani near the cave's ceiling.

Kioda panted as the dragon died below her. She had been injured along her side. Almost matching the 'x' shaped scar. Slipping away from the dragon Kioda moved to lick her side. Her eyes watching the young group before her. She envied Uassae. Perhaps Grrel was wrong about all bonded's being slaves. The hybrid clearly devoted a lot of love and attention to the little one. She somehow wished she too had a bonded like that. Feeling the sting on her wound Kioda hissed. Shifting so she could lick it better. She hated the taste of her own blood, how it stung in the open air. She knew she needed to clean the wound before things got worse, or it had the chance to get infected. The smell of her blood would be enough to attract serious predators.

Removing the main marks of the gash with a soft healing spell Kioda winced. It was no good she couldn't fully close the wound. She would need to work harder on her healing spells in order to close any damage. She could only be grateful it hadn't been deeper. Stretching her wings out to test their strength Kioda sighed. Her wings were still in great condition. Her muscles hadn't even felt the fight yet.

Uassae pulled away from Erionda as he noticed the green Drakein pull to the side. Kioda needed to keep up for she would quickly be left behind to the danger. He knew Erionda's soft spot would keep her from moving forward without the female Drakein but the next room contained Erionda favorite place. If he could help Kioda get there, it was a chance Erionda may linger there for a bit. With the large pond in the middle she may even be able to check Kioda over. He could even heal her if necessary.

Approaching her side he nuzzled her. Attempting to get her to stand. Rumbling he sniffed her wound. It didn't seem to be too deep but still, by the way Kioda seemed to attend to it. The pain must be searing.

The hybrid folded her arms cross her chest at the after effects of the death of the Dragon. She herself was happy for every kill that was made. Every death to the dragons was a reason to celebrate but to be so boisterous about it. Was this young one in his first fights all together? She thought on that for a moment, did he even know how much danger he really was in? What if she chose to leave his sorry behind here? What if she chose to rest against the wall and let the dragons eat him? She toyed with that thought for a moment before shaking her head.

She may be cold towards new individuals but she wasn't heartless. Besides he had a bonded with him. She watched the small one coax Mae onward. And if the Orderite died so did the tiny feathered one. Glancing over to Lanzecki as he stuffed the orb into the saddle bags on the Hastar and guide it along Erionda smiled. It was almost as if the small grey Keindred thought he was human. The thought amused her.

Pressing towards the next room Erionda smiled. Kicking off her shoes and socks the hybrid moved swiftly towards the water in the center of the room. Dipping her toes into the fresh cool liquid. No dragon was currently in sight and she was thrilled to be surrounded by fungus that not only resembled stars on Eowyn but a special pond in the middle made it look like she was floating in the sky. The cool water helped to remove the painful heat from her skin from the world above. She would live in this room if she could, it was beautiful down here.

Tossing her head back Erionda had to resist the urge to let her wings loose. They would give her away, let the strange Orderite know she was a hybrid. She couldn't risk it. Even if he was too weak to take her on now, it didn't mean he wouldn't return with others to take her head later. Or train to become stronger in order to defeat her down the road. No, now was not the time to let her inhibitions loose. She had to remain in control.

Movement in the water on the far end caused the Hybrid to take a step back. Watching as a Peisio's head emerged from the far end of the pond. "So that's where you have been hiding." Erionda mutterer in the dragons tongue. "Silly water dragons shouldn't play with ice." Erionda smirked as her magic tingled down her spin. Towards her knees and into her feet. Her eyes sparkled as she spun it the water. Kicking up frozen waves trapping the Peisio in place.

It howled piteously. Walking along the frozen water, Erionda disregarded the fact she didn't have her shoes on. The cold merely touched her. Felt comfortable against her bare skin, it wasn't painful to her but relaxing. She wouldn't be able to stand a full on contact for long before her skin started to hurt but right now it was wonderful to feel.

Her right arm snapped a spike of ice that had formed from the waves holding the Dragon in place. "Bye now." Erionda finished as she slammed the spike into the center of the dragons skull. Watching the dust of defeat sprinkle over the ice. Making a tisking sound while shaking her head Erionda picked up the orb and moved back towards the Hastar. Depositing the orb she turned to see if Kioda had entered the room yet.

"Darke speech."
"Mae speech."

Mae's eyes widened as he entered the next room. There was absolutely nothing like it on his Serenia home. Although... Serenia certainly wasn't known for having any great amount of caves... But it was the small pond in the middle the drew the most attention. The glowing fungus from the ceiling reflected beautifully off of it, enticing the Bonded pair ever closer to the water. But as Erionda dipped inside of it, Mae instantly rejected it. There were lakes on Serenia to swim in... Maybe he could emulate this fungus somehow once he got home...

Darke did not feel the same reservations. He sauntered up to Erionda's side and dipped his muzzle into the waters for a short drink. It was cool and refreshing and pleasant. If he even remotely liked getting his feathers wet, he may have considered stepping in. Alas, he didn't in the slightest, so he settled for the drink and then sat patiently and peacefully near the edge. Very unusual for a Keindred.

Mae instead let his gaze travel over to the Ysali Drakein. She must have been injured in the last fight... As a pair, she and one of the others had managed to bring it to the ground, but Mae hadn't noticed that anyone was injured... By the looks of her flank, she'd taken a few scrapes before, though. She was probably fine. The Peisio went down without much fight, and again Mae noticed that there was really no point in him helping. Shaking his head, he left the pleasant room behind and continued to the next. He was instantly floored as he slipped against the slick floor. Maeron squeaked in alarm as he crashed to the ground. He usually had pretty good balance, if only he was prepared...

Kioda waited a few moments, her teal eyes watching the strange hybrid move to the ground. Unsure of what she was up to Kioda's eyes flicked up towards the entrance. Mae was already moving to the next room. Shaking her head with a sigh she moved ahead of Erionda. If he wasn't careful, worse could happen to him than it did to her.

Her hind quarters still stung from the previous injury. Prancing into the room she followed the small grey Lanzecki. The dragon was currently asleep. Unlike Erionda Kioda wasn't strong enough to take on a dragon while it was awake. Sleep was the perfect time to catch a dragon off guard and deliver the final blows. Her lips curled back from her teeth as she sprang on the unsuspecting dragon. Digging her fangs into it's neck with a piercing and accurate blow. Rolling onto her side she pulled her four legs up tight. Digging her claws deep into the flesh of the dragon Killing it in moments.

Sighing as she watched the group fall away from her Erionda ran her fingers through her hair. She had come here in search of Diabi orbs, now she had several to trade for them but nothing she was really in need of. Licking her drying lips and avoiding the hungry growl in her stomach Erionda unclasped the bottle at her hip. She hadn't expected to be down in the tunnels this long and hadn't packed any food. She silently wondered if Kilian would be home when she got back. He had left earlier in the day to deliver his orbs to the main leader of the Oblivionites. Now, she only had to wait his return. While hunting was keeping her body occupied from desiring to be near him. It didn't keep her heart or mind from worrying after him.

Sipping at the water Erionda slowly moved towards the next room. She hadn't seen the death of the Dragon but from the color of the orb it had to be a Peisio. Erionda raised an eyebrow curiously. Was she protecting the little Orderite, or had she just wanted to sharpen her claws on something? Either way it didn't really matter. It was dead Lanzecki bounced to retrieve this orb. Racing Uassae who also headed for the shining object. Chattering indignantly at Uassae for even daring to race him for it.

Uassae's mind fled with idea's on how to torment the younger bonded before he thought better of it. Erionda's nerves were already on edge. Pushing them further with his antics would send her over and into a graceful killing machine of feathers. She would also tire herself out before even returning home. Moving towards the next room was a simple thing, spreading his wings he quickly took flight across the pit. Lanzecki close behind having learned to fly not long ago.

Erionda paused when she noticed the center of the next room. Cursing under her breath. She had forgotten there was a massive pit in the center of this one. With a nearly endless bottom. Growling she turned to take the lead of the Hastar. It hadn't become used to the thin trails yet, and she herself wasn't even sure it was wide enough for the Hastar to walk. Plugging her container of water and returning it to her hips Erionda moved confidently forward. If she could show the dumb creature behind her that the ledge wasn't something to fear it wouldn't freak out and bolt. Right?

"Darke speech."

As they entered the next room and saw only a pit, Mae's heart sank. Despite his adorably fluffy wings, they were still too small to fly him anywhere... If it was a bit higher, he may have been able to glide to the other side, but as it was, it looked like he'd have to follow Erionda and her beast. With a huff, the boy sent an indignant look to the green Drakein. How was he expected to teach Darke to fly when he couldn't even do so himself!? Plus, the Keindred was still fairly young... It would be a while yet before his wings gained the strength to carry him.

The Alikein appeared saddened as he watched the others of his kind fly off. No matter how he beat his lovely feathered wings, he couldn't possibly get himself off the ground. he turned to Kioda sadly. "I cannot..." He admitted dejectedly. Mae could feel the saddened distress coming off his young companion, but there wasn't much he could do about it... Darke was broader than Mae (though not so much as the Hastar the hybrid was leading across), and the lad didn't want him to become alarmed and fall...

He turned his teal orbs on Kioda, the only one yet to cross. "If Darke fell, I... wouldn't know what to do with myself." Mae admitted, feeling awkward for even considering asking what he was about to... "I know he's certainly not the size of a Keinling, but... Would you maybe consider... taking him across for me...?" The Orderite questioned hopefully. Sam had been able to carry Darke across the ocean, although... He hadn't been injured at the time. If she said no, he'd just have to do his best to keep Darke from the edge. He was a smart Keindred, but who knew how reliable those rocks were...
