Evie had brushed off her sweet boyfriend's forgetfulness earlier that day and happily continued through her day of classes. Tristan was the only person possibly in the world to get away with murder. Even Jess didn't stand a chance when it came to Evie's temper. If she got mad at you, you'd get what's coming to you. Of course, if you messed with Evie's friends, she'd be an avenging angel then as well. No one picked a fight with her friends except her. During her last class, she'd been given permission to skip out early so she could get to cheer practice on time. Taking up her things, she'd made her way to the girls locker room where she changed into her tight cheer uniform and sent Tristan a quick text.
Tristan: Six o'clock?
Evie looked at Jess's text once over before clicking her phone off. She wasn't afraid of her best friend's wrath. She loved the girl to death, but she wasn't going to waste her time on a party for someone she didn't even know. She'd have plenty of time to come up with a legitimate excuse before tomorrow. Putting her phone back into her locker, she stepped out into the hallway and started down it when she noticed Jared sitting outside the principals office...again. "Someone's been a bad boy. What did you do this time?" She purred. Slipping a strand of hair behind her ear, she turned her head to the side, waiting for a response.
OOC: Sorry for the lame response. I got slight writers block and have been dealing with some emotional tug-o-war the past few days.

Jared Michelson XXXXJared stopped playing the game on his phone when he heard Evie's smooth voice. She was making it impossible to not love her. He looked up slowly, slipping his phone back into his pocket. "You know I'd do anything to get to see you." He half teased with a wink. Jared got up and stood close to Evelyn, watching her carefully. "You haven't put half a thought into dinner with me, have you?" He asked quietly. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't help it. It was Evie. There wasn't anyone in the school who wasn't completely crazy about her. Why should he be expected to resist her? Jared took a couple steps back, unable to handle the proximity. Perhaps if they had truly been alone he would have pushed their boundaries further, but since anyone could come down the hall at any moment he knew it was best to keep some distance. Despite his actions, he really didn't want to hurt Tristan, especially for nothing if Evie was definitely not interested. "Don't you have a class to get to Evie? Or are you thinking about taking a walk on the wild side?" Jared couldn't fight back his wide grin as he raised an eyebrow at the girl.[[ SUPER Shitty post. I am sooooo sorry. @pie poodie: Thanks! That's what I'm going for. haha]]

~*~Jessica Trin~*~ During her last class, Jessica managed to escape the last ten minutes of it without being caught and headed home. She had a lot of preparing to do if the party was going to be a success. First, since she was quick at it, she set up the gaming system that her parents seemed to unplug every night, then moved furniture here and there to make room but still make it look nice. After taking a look at the room from different angles, she decided that her handiwork was perfect. She took a look at her phone as it went off multiple times. Marcie was in, Max was in as well as Jared. Tristan apparently had other plans. Evie hadn't replied but Jess was sure she probably wouldn't be coming. She texted her friends back. To Tristan she simply said "Kay" to Marcie and Max she said "Yay! That's great! ^^." To Jared she sent "Oh stop, you're making me blush razz " Although she sent it in a way as she was joking, she really was blushing. She would never admit it though. No one knew of her crush on the handsome brunette with his beautiful eyes and perfect body. What she liked most of all though, was his personality. She loved his bad boy personality, he made her laugh and he was sweet in his own ways. He liked Evie though. Yes, she knew. It was obvious to her, she couldn't miss the way he looked at Evie. She only wished he could look at her that way. Sighing, she made her way to the kitchen where she opened bags of chips and placed them in bowls to go out into the living room, and put soda in a red cooler to go out there as well. She his the alcohol, just in case anybody got tempted. She turned on some music, to get her spirit and the song that first came up was 'Here's To Never Growing Up' by Avril Lavigne. She grinned as this was one of her favorite songs. She danced while she made her home-made lasagne, garlic bread, fruit salad and regular salad. When it got to the chorus of the song she opened her mouth and started singing. "Singing radio head at the top of our lungs, With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love, Got a bottle of whatever, but it's getting us drunk, Singing, here's to never growing up"(OOC:Sorry for not replying in a couple days. I have a question, is there going to be a secret plot with Marcie being a vampire?)

(( @Bri-the_cookie_goddess: Yeah, But its mostly going to mess with Max's life, it can't happen until after he asks her out though. Basically he'll end up being more and more drained (;D get it, cause vampire?) and the rest of the group will most likely get worried and it can go anywhere from there ))

The final bell of the day rung. Marcie picked up her notebooks and whipped out her phone to text Jess. She felt horrible the she was going to be late but before texting Jess, Marceline walked up to Max, he was so quiet and it made her a little nervous to talk to him. She swallowed her pride and looked up at the male "I'm not sure... I don't really know where we're supposed to go, for detention..." she spoke to him softly, trying not to be shy. Marcie looked down at her phone, finally sending a quick text to Jessica. To Jessica From Marceline I'm so sorry, I got detention with Max =( I'm going to be late P.S. I think that Jared might have detention too Marceline looked at Mex again, since she didn't really know where to go she almost clung to his side, maybe Evie was right, maybe she was a scared mouse. Marcie stared down at her shoes not quite knowing what to do anymore.

Evie rolled her eyes and stood her ground when Jared came close enough she could almost touch him. She'd never show any weakness in front of him, but deep down inside, she was afraid of him. Although, there was also that twang of guilt for possibly feeling something for him. No. This is wrong! Evie tried sticking to her morals, mostly because they would get her somewhere in this life, rather than lies and deceit which could lead to her own destruction. Besides, what did Jared have to offer her, other than a nice body and the occasional comic relief? This was her mind talking of course. She was wild at heart. But that was her mother's fault. She was always a free spirit, going wherever the wind would take her. If only this chip on her shoulder weren't pestering her...
Evie placed a hand on her hip as a thin smile appeared on her face. "Dinner you say? I'd think you were the type to skip right to dessert." She cooed. He was keeping his distance and right he should. Otherwise she'd be tempted to embarrass him once the next available person made an appearance. She had dirt on Jared, as she did on all her friends. All she had to do was threaten them and they knew better then to test her. Straightening up her posture, she narrowed her eyes at the boy, looked him over once and put away any dirty thoughts she had about him. "I'm actually going to walk this way," she said referring to his last comment, "and you can feel free to stare sweetheart." Blowing him a kiss the way she did to all her friends, she strutted down the hallway until she made it out the door and towards the football field to begin practice...
Practice could have gone better. Evie thought to herself, making her way back to the locker room with a few of the other cheerleaders. She was sore and had already started stripping before she even made it to the locker room. In her hand she held her shirt, flashing her Pink bra for the world to see. Not that she cared too much anyway. She was exhausted and had to get home in time to start dinner for Tristan's arrival. Once she changed her clothes, she picked up her things and headed out to her car. At home, she was welcomed by her Great Dane "Horse" and the little chihuahua puppy named Toby. Putting her hair up in a messy bun, she was ready to begin preparations, although she couldn't stop thinking about Jared...

Jared Michelson XXXXJared smirked at Evie when she spoke. Her comment actually hurt a little, but Jared wasn't going to let that show. He grinned at her when she talked about walking away, but the second she turned her back to him, he turned around and ran a hand through his hair. Once she was out of sight he punched the closest locker. It made a tiny dent, but really just ended up hurting his hand. "Don't make matters worse, Jared. He's ready to see you now." Jared nodded at the older woman, doing his best to shoot her a smile. It was safe to say they knew each other pretty well now because of how often Jared was stuck in her waiting area. He walked into the principal's office, standing a little straighter and grinning away. XXXXJared was only in the office for five minutes of negotiation. He was stuck with a week and a half of detention, but it started tomorrow so Jared could go to his 'tutoring session' with Jessica tonight. He just hoped she'd back him up if the principal ended up asking her. He didn't bother finishing his classes and just went home, not really in the mood for dealing with anything. He spent the next couple hours chilling at home in his room before getting ready for Jessica's party. He grabbed a present for her out of his closet before heading over to her house. He knew he was going to be a little early but he liked chilling with Jess so he didn't mind. Plus he felt bad for not texting her back earlier. He just wasn't in a flirtatious mood anymore. XXXXIt only took Jared fifteen minutes to get to Jessica's house and he just walked in right away. He grinned a bit, feeling a little better, when he heard her singing. He closed the door silently before following the sound. He had to bite back a laugh when he saw her in the kitchen dancing around and cooking. Jared silently walked up right behind her, a wide grin spreading across his lips. "What are you doing?" He whispered, now looking over her shoulder. She was cooking for real, and he started to rethink his gift."So, I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say I was way off base when I assumed this was a pizza and beer kind of party?" He asked, holding up a box of 30 beers. He wanted to looks sad, but he was still amused from her cooking dance to keep from smiling.[[Are the school days always going to be so short?]]

~*~Jessica Trin~*~ Jessica's mood had gone back up, as she ate a strawberry. It was her favorite fruit and everytime she ate one, it would put a smile on her face. She was about to eat another one when someone came up to stand behind her and whispered in her ear. Startled, she shrieked and jumped away, looking to see who it was. She put a hand over her heart when she realized it was Jared. "My goodness Jared, don't startle me like that." She took deep breaths in and out until her heart rate calmed down. Blood rushed to her cheeks as she blushed, realizing he probably saw her dancing and singing. She looked at the box of beers he presented, and rolled her eyes. "Yes you were, but we can still have beers if people want it. We're going to be missing two people though, so you overdid it." She smiled and then went back to finishing the food "I am making dinner, if you must know. I'm making my famous lasagne. Think she'll like it?" she asked, referring to Marcie. Speaking of Marcie... "Marcie sent me a text saying she and Max would be late and that you might too. What trouble did you get into this time?

Jared Michelson XXXXJared laughed loudly when when Jessica turned around. Her word choice made the prank even funnier. She was just so...sweet. It was hilarious. He leaned against the counter, trying to stop smiling as her cheeks turned a dark pink. Jessica was probably one of the best friends he'd ever had, and he was beginning to think some quality friend time with her was exactly what he needed to get his mind off of Evie and his feelings. He chuckled when she said he brought too much beer. "Oh please, now that it's only going to be the four of us this might be enough." He joked, gesturing to the box. When she asked about Marcie liking the food, Jared just shrugged, picking up a chip and crunching it. "How should I know? We kind of talk, but it's hard to get more than a sentence out of her. If I can even get that." He ate another chip and looked around. Jess did a pretty good job of making it look cozy and fun at the same time. He was willing to be the new girl would prefer that than to his idea of what they were going to be doing. "But then again, I'm a pizza and beer kind of guy so what do I know about anything?" He smiled at Jessica, shrugging when she asked what he did. He felt bad Marcie still got detention, but at least Ms. Carr had stopped harassing the girl in class. "Nothing exciting. It was one of my more tame episodes. Just, if anyone asks you and I are studying tonight, feel me?" Jared winked and pulled a can of beer out of the box. "What're we doing tonight, hostest with the mostest?" He asked before taking a drink. Yeah, this is exactly what he needed.

~*~Jessica Trin~*~ Why did he have to keep winking at her? It just made him all that more appealing. "Studying, riiight" she winked back. She turned and out the last of the fruit into the salad and then put it in the refrigerator, so it would stay cool. 'Oh right. Need to send Marcie a message' she thought suddenly, getting out her cell. 'That's's alright. No worries smile -Jess' She put her cell down and cleaned everything up, talking while she did so. "Well, there's dinner, then I have games set up out there. Mario party, twister, guitar hero, DDR. Just all the fun things." She washed the knife that was in the sink, being careful not to cut herself then put it away. Turning, she walked into the living room and to the cooler where she got out a cola as she was dehydrated. "Ah, much better. Hey, Jared, wanna play a round of gold fish or something, while we wait?" They could do other things, but that was the only thing she could come up with right on the spot.

☛Tristan put his cell phone on silent then dropped it inside his duffel bag without bothering to change out of his sweaty clothes. He exited the school nimbly, not wanting to be questioned by any teachers roaming the hall and headed home. It wasn't even three when he arrived so he took his time in the shower. The hot water relaxed his muscles, so when he finally slipped out he had a feeling of tranquility. He threw on some sweats and went down stairs to find his mom arriving home with groceries.
☛"Angel," his mother, a short Argentinian woman in her forties, said, "ayudame con la comida.(1)" She set several bags down on the counter with a huff as she said this. The boy huffed, grumbling about being called angel, and nodded. As he starting putting things away she kept talking, "Tienes hambre? Voy a hacer las pupusas para ti. Y esta noche para la cena estoy haciendo sopa con zanahorias, maíz, pollo, cactus y algunas otras cosas. Va a ser tan bueno.(2)"
☛Tristan shook his head to her first question then prepared himself for battle. "Mama, lo siento, pero mas tarde me voy a la casa de Evangeline. (3)" The woman's smile faded. She wasn't a fan of his girlfriend. She glared at him momentarily before she began preparations for cooking. "Ella habla espanol? Ha intentado? Puede cocinar? Puede cuidar de ti? No, no puede. Pero todavía la citó. No te entiendo.(4)" She made it obvious she was only worried about him finding the right girl. but he felt like she was going about it the wrong way. She took one look at Evie and decided she wouldn't fit. And she approve him dating girls she chooses. Evie isn't the first she's tried too run off, but Evie will be the one he won't let go. He wasn't in love, but he was damn close to it.
☛ He didn't have the energy or will to argue with his mother. Plus he didn't want to be in a bad mood when he left. Turning to leave the kitchen he only said, "Ojalá que trataría de conocerla.(5)" He went up to his room and took a nap to kill time. When his alarm went off he brushed his teeth, dresses himself in a button down with nice jeans, and ruffed his hair. He grabbed his keys and phone then left without saying anything to his mother. Chances are he wouldn't talk to her until tomorrow, but could couldn't care less.
☛He arrived at Evie's house just after six and rang the doorbell feeling rather excited about the evening.

Marceline looked in the direction Max pointed and then back at him. When he started walking towards the detention room, she followed close behind him still not really sure where the room was , following seemed to be the best option. Marcie had to take quick steps to keep up with him, he was taller than her by quite a bit and so his legs were longer than hers. She had to look up at him and to be honest the female saw Max as a mystery. She hadn't really thought about it but Marcie almost had to take two steps for every one that Max took. She looked up at him with big blue eyes when he held the door open for her "T-thankyou " she stuttered out before quickly slipping past him and sitting down at an empty desk. She looked up at the clock, it was around 3:10pm and detention was over at 3:45pm. Marceline bit her lower lip thinking about how she was going to get to Jess's house, she was going to ask to leave with her but it was a little late for that, and the buses were long gone by now. After fidgeting in her seat for a while, Marcie looked up at Max, it was so quiet and boring and uncomfortable within the room.
