Gabriel made a quiet choking noise. He fell silent, kicking off his shoes as he went to the couch. "Not a sleeper sofa, no, so we'll basically be sleeping on top of each other," he said, and then he flopped on one end of the couch, blushing and refusing to look at Des at least for the moment.

Cause they probably wouldn't be sleeping on top of each other at weird angles anyway.. But Desmond decided not to comment and to leave it, instead opting to drop his head back and stair at the ceiling.
"You're staring." He said eventually.

Gabriel blinked, turning back to Des and swallowing. "S-sorry," he said, and then he sighed and leaned over, laying down on top of Des. He was surprised at how comfortable he was like that.

The purple haired boy blinked, picking up his head. Okay so, laying each other was happening now rather then later apparently. "Well hello there. What brings you to this fine side of the couch?" He teased, dropping his head back on the arm. "Don't fall off if you go to sleep."

"This fine side of the couch is more comfortable," Gabriel replied, shifting so he was on his stomach. "I don't move around a lot in my sleep, I'll be fine." He said, and then he sighed a little. "Why did you kiss me, earlier?" It came out in a rush, without a lot of thought behind it.

"Is that cause it's this side of the couch? Or because you seem to think I'm a pillow?" Des grunted slightly when Gabriel moved, shifting slightly himself. "Cause you wouldn't stop apologizing for something that wasn't your fault. Given the fact you had just gone ape s**t on that thing, I wasn't going the traditional route of slapping across the face. So I needed something outside of normal for you. Even if you found it awkward, which I apologize for."

"Because you make a really nice pillow," Gabriel replied unashamedly. He made a soft surprised noise at Des's explanation. "It, uh, it was a little surprising, but it wasn't exactly bad," he admitted. Then, he sat up and put his hands on the armrest on either side of Des's head, seeming to consider something for a moment before leaning down to kiss him.

"And you got this from only one try? Sounds like you're a biased s**t to me." He teased, grinning. "Not bad no. But I still felt that slapping you wasn't the best option. And since you weren't listening to me, I needed to get you to stop long enout so you could." The end of his sentence trailed off quietly as Gabriel shifted to lean over him. He blinked a few times shifting a little and open his mouth, ready to question the brunettes motives he said nrunette kissed him.

Gabriel broke the kiss, blushing and reaching up a hand to cover his face. "S-sorry, I don't - I just -" He stopped talking - stammering, more properly - and just looked away, at anything but Des. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

"Calm down. It's okay. I kissed you first remember?" If Gabriel wanted, they could play it off like a heat of the moment aftermath sort of thing. "I'm not mad."

Gabriel exhaled. "I just...really liked kissing you," he admitted. Even if it was horrifically confusing, given that the only other person he'd wanted to kiss was a girl and Des was very definitely not a girl and... The actual kissing was so much easier than thinking about it.

"Maybe I just know what I want," he said. That was a lie. He didn't even know what he wanted now, and he had a very good possibility right in front of him. "As long as you're not upset." That, at least, was one thing he could be sure he didn't want.

"That's true.. So then what does the blushing mean if you can decide you like something after one or two tries?" Des shifted his arm to mess with Gabriel's hair. Damn force of habit. He braids hair a half dozen times for her and now look where he ends up. "Not upset, mad, angry, put off or whatever you want to call it. There is very little that anyone can do to upset me."

"I just..." Gabriel swallowed and then he moved a hand to rest on Des's cheek for a moment. "Guh," he dropped his face onto Des's chest, whimpering softly. "I really want to kiss you again. I should not want to kiss you again."
