Laurence gave a sigh of relief when the guide arrived and they made it safely off the ship. The pidgey left them alone, leaving him even more confused as to what they wanted-- but hey, he wasn't about to complain about not falling to his death.
Kili finally managed to relax enough to clamber down from his shoulder and onto his lap. He stroked her back lightly and watched the air ship slowly go down.
He turned back to listen to the conversation in the balloon. Luckily, it appeared that everyone was pretty friendly so far. His heart sank a little when he heard Katori state that the balloon was ripping. Maybe they weren't out of this yet... but for Kili and the others childrens' sake, he said, "I am sure that it is nothing."
Edit: The captain on his dragonite started describing the landscape, so Laurence tried to pay attention.

Daniel's pidgeotto is a little agitated by the dribble said by the capitan but other than that they seem to be doing well on their balloon.

Cara smiled as she listened to Katori. "Sounds like a very interesting Pokemon. I guess she likes a challenge." She said with a smile, looking sweetly at the resting Pokemon. "I'd love to meet your Arcanine. I love them. They're one of my favorite Pokemon, as are Cyndaquil and some other fire types." She then watched as the Air Ship went down, hoping everyone had gotten off safely. ((sorry bout the mix up in the last post, I was tired and for some reason I thought I read Pidgey not Pidgeotto X3)) She turned to the new comer when he spoke and laughed a bit, slightly embarrassed at her reaction. "It's ok. Those Pidgey just put us all on edge. I'm sure your Pidgeotto is perfectly behaved." Cara nodded. "Yup, an Arcanine. He's mostly just an overgrown puppy but he can take things seriously when needed. He loves to meet new people and Pokemon so I'd be happy to introduce you. And I would love to get to know Kurou some more and let her meet Sage. I'm sure the two would get along, or at least I hope they would."Cara paled slightly when she heard Katori say there was a hole in the Balloon's envelope. She looked up and there it was. It was small but..there. "Oh fudge..."After Rolling: Once Cara finished speaking, something outside of the basket caught her eye. She looked over the rim and spotted a Murkrow! What the heck was that bad omen of a Pokemon doing here? It didn't look like it was going to cause any trouble...at least not right now. So, she just settled back down in her seat and told herself to remember that there was at least one Murkrow about.

Katori: interacting with Cara Katori felt bad when Cara blanched at the fact he mentioned the hole, "I'm sure it's nothin' hon, just a bit o'fabric" He hoped he wasn't lying, he wasn't sure himself. He saw her startle at something and blinked hard, looking himself.. "What the bloody hell now?" he muttered as he saw the black flash that was a Murkrow ... like that was a good thing right now.. first Pidgey, now a Murkrow. He wasn't usually a pessimist but today wasn't a usual day.

Interaction: Balloon 1 peeps
Michelle had sat there quietly while the others chatted amongst themselves and had just watched. At least until the Captain came over to tell them they were heading out. She shifted Remy off her lap then looked over the basket edge. After a moment she actually stood up to look over with a small smile on her face, enjoying the scenery. "I wonder how far up we are." She said cheerfully out loud when the wind picked up a bit.

Cadence was content to listen to the chatter going on and interjected with her own comments when she felt they fit with the conversation. After her attention was drawn to the small tear in the balloon fabric and she realized her legs were cramping up from the way she was sitting she rose to her feet and looked over the edge. As the wind picked up she smiled and shook out her hair. She had always loved the feel of a good breeze on her face.

Laurence looked up and spotted a murkrow fly by. So long as it didn't call up an angry mob of its friends to destroy their balloon, he was fine with it where it was. When he blinked, it vanished. Laurence shrugged and returned to petting Kili quietly.
((Sorry for not interacting much. Laurence is ordinarily much friendlier and talkative, but I am having a really hard time staying caught up with the event. ;^; I am sorryyyy.))

@Katori:
Cara gave him a skeptical look but nodded. "I hope you're right. The only safe way down for me is to have Spirit try to 'float' us down, and after that fight with the Pidgey...I'd rather not stress her out like that."
After rolling: She looked around, not seeing anything in particular but the other balloons and their 'captain'. She tried to spot the Murkrow again but it was gone so she just decided to take in the scenery.

Michelle pushed her hair behind her ears to try to stop it from getting into her face thanks to the wind picking up again. "Very windy huh Rems?" She asked as the Meowth stood on his back paws and leaned his front ones on the basket side to look out. "Mreow." He nodded in agreement.

"I'm sure it's noth....." he was cut off by another ripping sound, oh dear that wasn't good. "Probably nothing t'worry about at all, don't worry" he forced a grin then tried to flag the captain down, to alert the man of the situation of their balloon, perhaps one of his seemingly helpful and useful Pokemon could help? ... he didn't really have much luck and he didn't really dare mention it in case the others in the balloon got worried, no one else seemed to have noticed a thing.

Cara sat back and watched the world go by. She listened to everyone's conversations, smiling here and there while petting Spirit who was still resting comfortably in her lap. She watched the Ship's Pokemon work diligently above her and was somewhat fascinated by them. Cara then noticed they started moving a little bit faster as the breeze had picked up slightly. Hopefully it wouldn't be any sort of hindrance.

Cadence began to shift her weight back and forth, being stuck in such a small space with seven other people and assorted pokemon was beginning to take its toll on her. She wasn't usually one to get claustrophobic but the ripping balloon, overcrowded gondola, and the fact that she had no feasible escape plan was starting to worry her just a bit.

Michelle blinked when the Captain flew closer to talk about the land. It was kind of interesting she supposed. She shared a look with Remy then shrugged. At least it wasn't something bad right?

While glancing around the balloon and sky, something else in the air around the balloons caught her eye once more. Cara's heart skipped a beat and her face paled slightly. Oh Arceus, Not another one! She thought. It was another stinking Pidgey...Wait a minute...that one's different...There's something strange about it. She looked at it curiously until it flew out of sight, not paying the small troupe of balloonists any mind. She kept looking at the place it she had seen it last and thought. I don't know what it was...but there was something odd about that bird...

The wind blew through Laurence's hair. The balloon was kind of peaceful now... just as one might expect. Kili was even becoming bold enough to climb back onto his shoulders and peek over the edge.
