 T'k khe'kk ■■ ❝Th e blood of my ancestors.❞ ==== ☠==== ==== The Hive ☠==== ==== ☠==== T’kkhe’kk turned his head slightly, his large eyes glimmering like a dome of prisms as his vision fell onto the antithesis of himself. Darren, proof that Animal Hybrids could be cute. The Hive nodded a greeting to the man as a sudden feeling of Welcome would fill the room and overcome Darren upon his entering, T’kkhe’kk’s pheromones influencing those around him. In all honesty, in his short time here, The Hive had come to be amazed by the male who stood before him. The amazing abilities to bound and move so effortlessly, as Darren was so very gifted at, were a thing of awe for a race which seemed nearly permanently grounded like the Homo-Optera. He was an amazing climber, he could sprint for days on end but he lacked the agility and leaping ability that Darren contained. Yet instead of being jealous at his short comings, he just watched in amazement at his teammate’s natural or trained abilities. However, the amazement vanished as a question was posed to him. The Homo-Optera have a singular mouth underneath their mandibles, an atrophied mockery of the human orifice, yet was now curling into the faintest of smiles as his mind receded back to thoughts of his home land. The multitude of his kind, the hundreds of acres of tunnel running underneath the ocean floor, The royal family, the huge banquets, the athletic contests, the digging, the pheromones… Slowly, his head lowered, his mandibles chattering as his thoughts race. He missed home, he missed his people and he was tired of the disdain that the human race generally showed him which was the main reason that he hadn’t left the Headquarters save for twice. However, he needed to find good use of his limited English vocabulary to answer the man who spoke to him. “Dark…Warm…Family…Home…” His words were disjointed, his voice was hollow and weak but his message was probably clear. He lived in the dark, the atmosphere was extremely humid (A byproduct of so many organisms in the enclosed space), he lived with many other individuals and it was the only place that he’d ever lived at. But suddenly, his feelers swerved over towards the door which was a preemptive action to announce the arrival of another who happened to be a young lady who’d never seen before but the exclamation struck T’kkhe’kk’s ears and caused him to scitter up the wall and over to a far corner, where he crouched while clinging from the roof. Besides the disappointment of being “that monster” or something similar again, her voice was mannerisms had just startled him. So from this vantage point, he watched the duo with the scrutiny of his many senses.

The Red Blur Roxane Chase Not seconds after Quin and Hatsumi's arrival did the door to the main common room of the tower suddenly flung open dramatically, a streaking red blur of color came flashing into the room. "what 14.6 seconds? Bullcrap! This damn thing is busted" Roxy exclaimed, having skidding to a stop right infront of Alice, propping herself up against her with her arm up on the demon's shoulder. She was clutching a stop watch in her free hand, obviously displeased at the results, tossing the thing up and catching it in her mail bag. "so what's going on guys, every ones all gathered together like we're throwin' a party or sometin'..." she asked in her light, but noticeable, Brooklyn accent. She glanced around the room, seeing Rei off on his own playing darts, Primrose talking to plants, Alice trying to shove cake down everyone's face, Hatsumi being Hatsumi, Hive being Hive, Quin being stupid (basically Quin being Quin) and Darren bouncing around like a rubber ball. "granted...a pretty lame party..." she muttered to herself, shaking her head, taking off her cap and ruffling through her bag. "oh yeah, strange thing happened to me today, I was bustin' some two bit purse snatcher, and out of no where some weirdo bumps into me and gives me this sweet mask, for free" she said, pulling out the mask the odd stranger had given her. "pretty freakin' badass right?" she asked, holding it out for the others to see, those who where able to sense auras or magical energy would get a weird feeling from being near the mask, but otherwise it would seem like an ordinary, if not oddly designed, decorative mask. Benten-Yoshi founder of the Y.G.C. "the world's deadliest being"
"well you seem to be all getting along well enough" a familiar voice said from higher up in the room. On the northen side of the room, Benten Yoshi, legendary hero and mentor the Young Guardian Corps members, stood atop the long catwalk that spanned across the edges of the room. Behind him was the gigantic monitor that took up the majority of the Northen wall, with several different news and security feeds playing at once across it. "To answer your question Quin that is T'k khe'kk" he informed her, somehow managing to pronounce his name almost perfectly "royal warrior and ambassador of the Homo-Optera, the newest member of the team, aswell as a reminder for why you should be reporting in more often" Benten said with a chuckle, seeing as she had not been present for when he first introduced T'k khe'kk to the rest of the group. "in any case it seems we still have a ways to go as far as coming together as a team, but as they say Rome was not built in a day" he said, turning his back to the group to look at the screen. "well how the hell are we supposta work together when all there is to fight around here is purse snatchers and mugga's? You don't really need a team to stop someone shakin' down old ladies for nickels and hard candy" Roxy said, plopping down on the couch and taking one of the gumballs from Hatsumi and popping it into her mouth. "a fair point Roxanne, true the lack of big threats has been partly to blame for you all not being able to work on your synchronization, but I do believe a solution to that problem has decided to rear it's ugly head" Benten said, turning back to the others and clicking a button on a small remote, causing the screen to bloat up a mug shot of a guy with shiny gold hair and what seemed to be black and white clown make up. "there have been recent sightings of The Ring Master popping up through the city, apparently rounding up thugs and low grade criminals into some sort of gang, most likely to try to reform a semblance of his old group Cirque de la Doom, which was disbanded a few years ago after his capture and imprisonment..." Benten explained. "hmmm Ring Master...da' hell is that guy?" Roxanne asked, having only moved to the city about a year ago, and not really knowing a whole lot of super villians. "an old super villian from a few years back. He was an up and coming gang leader, notable for the majority of his goons also being supers. He was kinda nutty though, really commited to the whole circus them, rumors say he never took his make up off, and he had all his men dress up like performers and take up persona's based on old circus troops. Still at the time he was pretty dangerous, especially since he was somehow able to move his hideout from place to place, a sort of mass telaportation, made him really hard to track down." Benten explained "though the real concern isn't so much who he is...but what he is" he said, Roxy cocking her head to the side in confusion"what he is.....?" she asked "reported sightings site him being seen as recently as yesterday...but..." he said, pulling up an old recorded newscast on the screen. "the odd thing is...Ring Master's body was found mutilated in his prison cell over a week ago...he's dead" Benten dramatically revealed. (sorry for the small delay, I had a few things I had to work on yesterday)

As soon as she finished her sentence, asking Alice if she wanted to analyze a bubble gum, a streak of red bolted into the room. It was Roxane. She was so fast, that Hatsumi felt a gust of wind blowing her long silvery hair and blue dress to the side. Eri was pretty light, since he was a voodoo doll, and ended up rolling off the couch. Irritated, He jumped back to his seat, "Would you stop that whole running business.. Its going to kill me!!" Hatsumi tilted her head at Eri's comment, "But Eri.. are you not dead already?" Eri sighed at Hatsumi's remark. She indeed had ways to go.
"A party?" Hatsumi tapped her chin with her index finger. "Oh!" Her inexpressive face did not change, only the pitch of her voice, "That is when humans dress in weird clothing and walk out the streets, cheering and clapping." She nodded, satisfied with her answer. Eri shook his little stitched head and wasn't even going to bother explaining that now.
Hatsumi tilted her head from one side to another as she was trying to understand what Roxy was saying, "Roxane, you are a very speedy young lady." She didn't understand most of her words until she took out that weird looking mask. Hatsumi gasped, "That! That being is not welcoming!"
Just then, the leader of the YGC, Benten, spoke from a higher up room and started explaining various things. Hatsumi caught this gist of it; That they needed to be unified and fast.
Hatsumi observed Roxy when she plopped the gum in her mouth. She leaned her face closer, thinking it might cause something out of the ordinary.
She glanced up as the leader began to mention something about villains and how some dangerous villain fellow was making a villains group."The leader of the villains, who made that villain group ..is no more?" Hatsumi was oh so very confused. "How can this be possible. Did he not want to be the leader?"
Eri silently listened to the leader. Although Eri was merely a doll, he did have some intelligence. He knew for a fact things would get complicated from here and on.

Қɑɠҽ ◤The Shadow Walker◥ I lurk. ==============☠ ============== All around. Rei Ito Rei silently observed the room as it got full by the minute. He threw another dart, but still, was not close enough. Rei shook his head when Alice was offering people those sweets. "Poison.." He threw another dart, landing exactly at the spot as the last dart. He sighed. It was not his day. He glanced at T'kkhe'kk, who left for the training room. Rei secretly admired that part of T'kkhe'kk who seemed very diligent when it came to training. Rei was a bit busy helping the scientist so he didn't have time sometimes. He threw three more darts, one landing right in on target. But he still was not satisfied. Hatsumi came in with Eri, the voodoo doll, and started talking something about a 'discovery'. Rei's ears perked for a moment, interested in this 'discovery'. He glanced over to see she was talking about a mere bubblegum. He rolled his eyes for this girl had lots of things to learn if she truely wanted to fit in. He threw another dart, landing on target. Good, he was starting to pick up. Just then, a stream of red lit a path. It was that fast Roxy girl who was too fast for her own good. He paused for a moment. He felt some weird energy. Perhaps it was just his imagination. Roxy then started to spout some nonsense as usual. But then, she took out a weird looking mask. He knew immediately that that energy was from that mask. Finally, the leader spoke from a higher room explaining the 411s. Hatsumi seemed lost during most of his explanation but ignored her confusion for now. Things got serious pretty fast. The leader mentioned how they needed to work as a team but Rei was not so sure if he was capable of doing so. The statement was mind boggling. The ring master was dead? This was something new to him. Now he understood how Hatsumi could easily get confused.

 T'kkhe'kk ■■ ❝The blood of my ancestors.❞ ==== ☠==== ==== The Hive ☠==== ==== ☠====
The Hive sensed two specific and very distinct signatures. One was the speedster who came in clutching an object in her bag which was presented in a haphazard manner after an exchange of words between the aforementioned Speed Wielder and the rest of the room. The object presented was a mask which resembled a similar material to his exoskeleton yet presented a completely odd pheromone signature (More then likely from the person who'd given the mask) and it's own bioelectrical pulse which was unnatural for an inanimate object. T'kkhe'kk was quite interested in the object and dropped to the floor in a close proximity to Roxane to scrutinize the mask.
However, a familiar pheromone wafted through the room as the vibrations of a familiar voice resonated within his head and his head cant upwards to view the leader. The pheromone always exuded wisdom and compassion and was very calming to T'kkhe'kk whom still felt so uneasy in the presence of the squad members. It wasn't always fun being the Monster, but he supposed the attention he garnered would be helpful during the process of combat... when they got that far. At this point, Benten spoke his name in a perfect dialect of the Homo-Optera which was an impressive feat for anyone of another race since the sounds created in their vocal speech was a mixture of sounds from their human vocal cords And the tapping of their mandibles. But being nobility in his own right, he clinched his right fists and slammed them against his chest with a resounding crash of his exoskeleton slamming against his exoskeleton. It was a pretty universal greeting of many cultures and races, even though the Homo-Optera didn't have the custom of bowing, this action carried a similar meaning and the stoic nature in which it was preformed would indicate it was a motion of respect.
After the short introduction of a member who was tardy, Benton went into a briefing about an individual referred to as the Ring Master, a possible corpse reanimated? The Hive filled the room with a feeling of confusion which would invade everyone's mind and hopefully precipitate further speculation or explination.

"Your home sounds nice." Darren said to Hive before having his attention pulled away by the speedy chick, then by Benton. He listened to what the wise cat had to say sighing a bit at the mention of The ring Master. Even before moving here he had kept an open ear to what was happening in New Zion, since he had been planning his escape to move here. " Is it possible that it's a copy cat?" Darren asked curiously hopping from foot to foot. He glanced at Primrose seeing the flowers falling from her hands. "Benton honest question how do you think we're going to work together? You've got a girl who's confused by everything, a guy who lurks in the shadows, a sugar high girl, a shifter girl, a fast moving girl. Then you've got a plant girl, an ant guy, and me a rabbit. Everyone is different and have nothing in common. Unless you want me, Prim, and Hive making our own ecosystem or something."

Hatsumi glanced over at T'kkhe'kk who gestured a form of salutation. She tried to imitate his moves, wondering what it meant. Hatumi nodded her head when PrimRose suggested that he might not be dead, "You are implying it may have been an imposter, correct? Then it be a distraction?"
When Darren spoke his views on this matter, Hatsumi was one step closer of understanding what the conversation meant. "I believe the bunny man has a very fine point. We all come from different realms and were born with very different specialties."
Eri shook his small stuffed head, "Yes but if you all train and find each other's strength and weaknesses, then you might become invincible. It all depends on your wills."

Қɑɠҽ ◤The Shadow Walker◥ I lurk. ==============☠ ============== All around. Rei Ito Rei remained silent while everyone voiced out their opinions, views and concern. Then something clicked to him. "Maybe.." He mumbled and walked over to Roxane, " Who did you say gave you this mask??" His piercing light blue eyes focused on her answer. " You mentioned a random fellow who gave you this, no? What if that was him." It has been a while since Rei spoke more than a sentence. This topic really let him speak up for once. Rei wasn't a hundred percent sure of this theory he came up with but it kind of made sense to him. He turned to face Benten, "Leader, you must know right??" Rei must of caught his step-dad's habit of making hypothesis then testing them out. His curiosity gravely increased by the second.He wanted to know if his hypothesis was senseless or if it had some truth to it.

He had slid into the room just seconds after Miss Roxanne, using her always exuberant entrance to come in unnoticed. It wasn't that he didn't want to interact with his colleagues, more that going unnoticed had become a habit. Every since his younger years he had down everything to blend into the background, avoid detection, or otherwise he'd be singled out as a punching bag. As he got older this became a more difficult process. He refused to cute his hair, even for the sake of conformity, and there was very little he could do about his eyes with almost seem to glow an electric blue. At sixteen he had hit a sudden growth spurt causing him to shoot up like a weed, the ending of puberty saw him topped off at 6'1. Not bad for a half-Chinese man, not bad for a man of any nationality really, but it meant hiding became so much more difficult. Luckily for him people like Roxanne existed to unknowingly draw attention away from him.
Li-Fan found a slightly darkened spot in the back and leaned comfortable against the back as Master Benten introduced The Hive, a rather interesting creature to say the least, to one of their newer members. Li-Fan had been in New Zion for two years, one of the first to join up for the YGC, and had made it a point to keep track of everyone's name. It would not do to offend someone, and genuinely found everyone to be intriguing. Each and everyone of them had a different background, ability, and personality. They were all different from normal people, and in being different they were the same, but at the same they were different from each other. In the end didn't that simply mean they were still just all alone?
Half of his attention was on Mast Benten, listening as he spoke of the Ring Master, taking in all the details of the debriefing. A opinion quickly formed of how the Ring Master could still be alive quickly formed but he held back from speaking as other blurted out their own thoughts. They were all very clever and could possibly be the right answer. "Zombies could possibly happen, if under the right conditions. he said in a soft voice as he moved closer to Primrose, though remembered not to get to close. She seem to have an aversion to people in general, though he had noted she was quite friendly around plants. The were the same age but he had never really had the chance to talk or bond with her, nor had he done so with the other members to much. While he tried everyone the same friendly manner he someone always managed to keep a distance. It wasn't so much that he wanted to it was just...Social interactions had never been his thing growing up. "I think the probably of a zombie being the culprit is pretty low though. Maybe a type of shape-shifter who sheds his skin? While he asked formed this question to Primrose he didn't mind if anyone else bother to ask. While talking he bent down and plucked one of the flowers off the ground that had fallen from the young girl's hands. A slight smile crossed his usually expressionless face as he studied the pink being. "I envy you ability to grow life." he muttered under his breath.
"Yes, Mister Hive, this whole think is very confusing." Li-Fan addressed the Homo-Optera, noting he had sent out a confused feeling, as well as given him a respectful bow. "But perhaps Mister Rei is correct in his assumption that Master Benten has more knowledge to share with us." It had never really occurred to Li-Fan that using such terms as Mister, Miss, and Master were reasons why the others would find him weird. To him everyone has a place. While he was simply Fan to them, to him they were all above him and thus earned respectful titles. In a way he sounded like a butler who constantly used formal speech. He listen to the rest chatter and converse, nodding his agreement to Eri the Voodoo doll's statement. If they opted to train more together than they could make a decent team, they just had learn to work around each others abilities. Li-Fan sighed silently as he realized just how difficult that would probably be. As Lei Kung he was difficult to handle, his reserved personality would be pushed aside in favor for a personality that wanted the world to acknowledge that he was alive. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ⇳ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ⇳ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ {{ OOC: I'm sorry this ended up so long ;_; People were posting so fast that I had no idea where to butt in, so sorry if I made a mistake}}

The Red Blur Roxane Chase Roxanne smirked and winked at the doll when it scolded her for running. "shoot I'll stop running as soon as you stop being a creepy a** living voodo doll, seriously I'm still waiting for you to try to go all child's play on everyone" she shot back at him, referring to the movie with the killer Chucky doll. When Hatsumi gave her little definition of "party" Roxy just rose a brow. "You know your face doesn't really look like it wants to cooperate with the rest of your body, might want to work on that..." she said, just as Hive dropped down from the ceiling beside her, causing her to nearly jump out of her shoes. "wah! whatafukkkashe...don't do that man! Sorry, but fella lookin' like yourself can't just go poppin' up on folks..." she said, takin' a step back, tucking the mask safely into her pack when she noticed the others seemin to take an interest in it. "anyways, guy said this thing was expensive, so sorry, eyes only, ya'll gonna have to find a different costume for halloween" she joked, obviously mistaking their curiosity/caution for a desire to have the mask for themselves. She couldn't blame them, the thing was sweet as hell, but Roxy wasn't to keen on sharing much of anything, much less super rare priceless artifact stuff.
When Benten explained that this Ring Master fella was dead, Roxanne looked a bit shocked, before shaking her head. "what? that's freakin' crazy! Dead people don't just get up and start walkin around and formin' gangs...well...I mean sometimes they do....but not without a reason" Roxanne said, admittedly considering the gathered persons in this very room, trying to argue against zombies seemed kind ridicolous, hell there was a literal dead spirit walking amongst them right now bound to the body of a rag doll, so they already had proof that necromancy voodoo s**t existed. When Rei suddenly asked her about the guy who gave her the mask she shot him a suspicious look. "huh? some schmuck carryin' around a bunch of masks. And I somehow doubt he had anything to do with it, clumsy b*****d somehow managed to bump into me while I was standing out in broad daylight, and I was makin' a scene so I know he shoulda seen me. Don't really sound like the kinda guy who could sneak into a prison and kill a supervillian, especially if he's as good as Mr. Whiskers says he is" she said, highly skeptical of the idea. Though suddenly her face lit up as if a sudden realization came to her "wait...maybe you're right! It coulda been him all along!...but he would have had to have an accomplice...yo Rei, you passed by a newspaper stand on the way over here right? Did you get the name of the guy behind it? or the hotdog vendor on 3rd street, we can't rule him out either. I bet it's some sort of conspiracy, all the people we happen to come across in our daily lives are all connected and plotting against us!" she said, very clearly mocking him at this point. "or maybe it was something that's not completely freakin' stupid!" she suggested, shaking her head and brushing his idea off. Benten-Yoshi founder of the Y.G.C. "the world's deadliest being"
Benten watched as the other members quickly began spouting out theories and explanations as to what could be behind this strange phenomenon, coming at the idea from nearly every angle and perspective. The big cat smiled a bit, feeling a bit proud of their eagerness to try to figure the situation out themselves instead of simply looking to him for all the answers, he could tell he picked well. "yes, it is indeed a confusing matter. We haven't ruled out the possibility of a copy cat, in fact it is probably the most likely scenario all things considered, but we don't have any sort of concrete evidence favoring any of the theories presented...so essentially as far as we know they are all equally valid..." Benten explained. "what we do know is that Ring Master was found murdered in his prison cell, completely alone, with no evidence left behind and no clear signs of a break in. The corpse itself was left mostly untouched from the neck down, but most of the flesh and skin from the top of the forehead to the tip of the chin seems to have been flayed off...I've seen the pictures myself...and I'll spare you having to view them yourselves" Benten explained, sparing them the gory imagery of a man with his entire face shaved off. "I don't want to jump to any conclusions on this, because if we do and prepare for the wrong problem we may be putting ourselves at a bigger disadvantage than just going in blind. Regardless of this new Ring Master's origins, he's still dangerous, even just as an imposter, the name and face alone are enough to earn him a great deal of influence and respect among other criminals, and if he is somehow cloned, or revived...well that's an entirely different set of problems...I want you all to head out and try to investigate the matter. I have gathered the last known locations he's been sighted at, along with the various criminals and small gangs he's been in contact with, I'd start there and see what you can find from the people he's recruiting. If you come into contact with the Ring Master himself be wary, he is definently not one to be taken likely, and given how little we know about this current incarnation it may be better to retreat than try to face him outright, as he may not have the same abilities he had before, for better or worse" Benten advised. When Darren suddenly asked how he expected them to work together, the large cat man opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off when Eri and Alice spoke up. Benten smiled proudly at their responses, and nodded down to Darren. "they are right Darren, cliche as it may sound your diversity is your greatest strength, not a weakness. Alone all of you are to heavily specialized in your own aspects and abilities to have the versatility needed to be ready for every challenge you may have to face, but together you each have a purpose, a role that can be used to handle anything. You are able to lend each other your strengths, and in turn cover for each others weaknesses. And while it may not be apparent at first glance, the combinations you can achieve with your diverse array of abilities are near limitless. And you may think you all have nothing in common, but you are wrong, otherwise you would not all be here as Guardians. The belief in justice, the drive to protect others, and the will to accept the responsibility that comes with the great power you all wield. These things you all share, every last one of you, and true that alone may not be enough to unite you all as one, but it is as good a place to start as any." Benten said (dramatic orchestral music swelling in the background as he gave his inspiring speech) "today marks the true start of your tenure as a team. This threat, whatever it may be, is not one you can face alone, you must rely on each other to see this villian brought to justice, and must trust each other to assure each and every one of you makes it through. This is your first true trial, the first of many to come. It is up to you to seize this moment, and cement it as the dawn of a new era, a new generation. One day when I and others like me are gone, the world shall fall upon you to protect it, and when that weight comes down on your shoulders, it is days like these that will have prepared you to carry it. So work hard, and do not faulter, because the coming flames are the ones that shall forge you into the heroes of tommor-Nyaaaaaaaah!" Benten shouted as the railing on the cat walk suddenly snapped off, causing him to go plummeting over the side crashing down to the floor bellow, comically cutting his big speech short. "i'm ok...damn luck...always waits for the worst moment to get me" Benten muttered, sitting up and rubbing his lower back. "but anyways rambling speeches aside good luck out there. I look forward to seeing how you guys will handle it, but remember if you ever feel like you've bitten off more than you can chew, use your communicators to call for me, and I'll be in in a jiffy to bail you guys out" Benten said with a thumbs up. (your communicators are basically personalized devices that allow you to access information and talk to other team members. It can be anything from a simple headset like Roxy's, or a phone, or pipboy eque device on your arm, whatever you want really)

Қɑɠҽ ◤The Shadow Walker◥ I lurk. ==============☠ ============== All around. Rei Ito Rei let his hand run through his hair, his patched eye clearly in sight now. He glanced at Roxy and remained silent after listening to her mockery. To others, it may have seem like Rei was glaring at Roxy. In reality, he was giving his hypothesis another thought and concluded that her statement holds the better truth. Rei glanced back at the leader once he started his speech. Rei was getting into the leader's speech when suddenly he fell down. He laughed in his heart for it truely was a sight to seen. He really does have the worst luck. Rei glanced at his personal communicator which looked like a watch. He started thinking if splitting into groups and taking different areas would be useful or not. If they were to do so, they would need to balance each other's strengths and weaknesses. "How should we go about this?" He bluntly stated and waited for the rest to state their opinions.

Hatsumi was nodding, carefully taking in every word of what the leader was saying. She would occasionally make eye contact with whoever was speaking and slowly absorb the meaning behind their words. Eri remained on the couch, still as the doll he was, listening to the conversation.
She was a bit surprised to hear Rei speak more than a couple of words. He always looked mysterious and like her, wore a poker-face. However he gave a rather chilling vibe. Even for her, it was a bit overpowering. She normally likes creepy horror movies and finds them quite hysterical and amusing. Then there was Roxy who had an interesting accent. However most of the time, Hatsumi didn't understand her phrases. "Roxane. That mask welcomes not beings. It has an eerie smell to it" When Roxy was shaking the cat leader arguing the dead couldn't just come back to life, Hatsumi protested, "Where I come from, the dead are almost living."
While she was glancing around, making eye contact with whoever spoke, she noticed Li-Fan Lei enter at some point. He also had a mystery aurora lingering around him and found his looks to be quiet unique. He seemed like the calm, reserved type but Hatsumi couldn't figure the exact words that described such a person.
Hatsumi hasn't interacted with Quinn as much and has yet to know whether her style of speaking would be difficult to understand like most of the others.
Meanwhile, T'kkhe'kk could barely speak the human language. She felt a bit relieved that there was someone who had trouble understanding, or speaking the ways of their speech. Well, that is how it seemed like to her anyways. His pheromones were easier to comprehend for back home, they also had a different communicating style.
Alice, Darren and PrimRose had a simpler way of talking; not like Rei and Roxy. They spoke clearly and would talk long enough for her to figure out the theme by the end of their sentence.
Lastly, the leader always sounded composed and wise which she admired very much. She also liked his living form of a cat.
She has yet to learn exactly what everyone was capable of. She hasn't showed her capabilities to anyone particular but the leader probably knew of it.
Eri sighed and raised his little squeaky voice, "I'm not JUST Hatsumi's doll. Please do address me by my name; Eri. Although a doll, I still have hidden emotions." The doll would talk however its mouth does not move; which made things a bit more chilling; especially to outsiders. That stitched mouth was always smiling. However, through his actions and tone, one could understand how the doll felt at a given moment.
As the leader continued to explain, Hatsumi felt a bit of excitement, "We are to be character of heroes and heroines that saves this planet from hands of the evil." The only hint given that she was a bit excited was her pitch which became a bit on the higher note.
She suddenly jumped when the leader randomly had fallen from above, her voice sounded shocked but her face remained inexpressive, "Master cat, does he be hurt?!" Hatsumi's communicator device seemed like a compact mirror held on a chain. Her device was custom made so that it was simple and easy to use. She usually wears it as a necklace and has it tucked under her dress collar so that it wouldn't easily fall if she happened to hang upside down for some odd reason.
Hatsumi glanced over at Rei, "I believe we would need a consideration to the transportation method."

 I breath, I Talk. I move, I walk. A living voodoo, I am a doll. My name Is Eri.

 T'kkhe'kk ■■ ❝Th e blood of my ancestors.❞ ==== ☠==== ==== The Hive ☠==== ==== ☠====
All of the information which flew about the room was almost a sensory overload. He could feel the various emotions flowing about the multitude of individuals congregated within the room. Hatsumi felt confused as seemed to be her general default emotion yet one that T’kkhe’kk understood quite well. They were aliens from a very different world and they both have difficulty fighting in and acting naturally around the others. She was from some sort of alternate dimension or spiritual realm? T’kkhe’kk was unsure exactly because the concept of spiritualties. Once a member of the Homo-Optera expired, their body was placed on the mulch pile in the junk yard, and they slowly decayed to fertilize the farm lands. They never stopped to ask “what happens” when a person dies. They die, they’re gone. They had no gods, no afterlife. They didn’t need these trivialities to be able to cope with death. The Homo-Optera were a war-like people with no opponent, bred to be super weapons who found themselves in a world full of squishy weaklings and insects. From a race who encountered human-kind once before this trip, they slaughtered the Dark Men and feasted upon their bodies, yet never had a single thought about what happened to the Dark Men after their dissolution. So the concept of Hatsumi’s arrival confused him, as did the word “Zombie” which was thrown about the room at the behest of PrimRose. But suddenly, Darren changed the subject of the conversation to themselves. T’kkhe’kk perked up in interest.
Darren asked Benten what the benevolent leader thought of their ability to function as a highly cohesive unit, which sent the leader into a soliloquy about what they could be. It was reminiscent of his life previously. They needed to be The Hive, work as one animal in a teamwork so synchronous that they could be considered one entity and T’kkhe’kk had a feeling that he could put some input into the situation. So he stepped towards the center of the room and rose his top set of arms to garner the attention of the others in the room since he didn’t have the vocal ferocity to overcome their chattering at this point. Once a hush fell over the room, it was pervaded by the general feeling of inspiration and excitement. After a moment, his hollow voice began to speak in a slow yet sagacious tone.
“Hive is…superorganism. We must be Hive. Hive Mind controls us. Leader in field to be Hive mind."
In so many words T’kkhe’kk was saying that the Ant Hive is considered a Superorganism in the world because they acted as one. This was made possible by the “Hive Mind” which was the pheromones that Ants used to communicate. Their personal communicators could act as the pheromones and a Field Leader for each Squad (Their collective Group or smaller squads if they decided to break into multiple groups) would act as the “Hive Mind”, giving orders to the other members of the group which would need to be followed explicitly. T’kkhe’kk knew full well that Benten was the undisputed leader of the Young Guardians Corps but he seemed to be uninterested in joining the Group in the field, which was completely alright. There have been a ton of great Generals throughout history that didn’t generally fight on the front lines with their forces, Julius Caesar only joined his soldiers in battle in the most desperate of times. But since he wasn’t going to fight at their side on a regular occurrence, T’kkhe’kk thought it would be smart to have a decisive and quick thinking leader at their sides who could instruct the group. Their own personal Hive Mind. That was the Homo-Optera way.
Having said his piece, T’kkhe’kk lowered his arms which immediately receded into the thick cloak which shrouded his massive form and moved back to the back portion of the room to stay out of the way and allow those with a higher understanding of this world to converse. Giving some introspection, T’kkhe’kk feels like he could be a good asset in a group dynamic given his extensive life of working with other organisms in a very close proximity. He was bred to be a leader and extensively trained in the combat arts but he lacked the communication skills necessary to Lead the troops of more a Homo-Sapian variety. They generally couldn’t understand his pheromone well enough to understand the complex squad maneuvers and they couldn’t understand his spoken language at all. Conversely, he didn’t have the knowledge or means to communicate utilizing their spoken language to the extent necessary to lead them. So it was a lost cause. Perhaps, in training, he could instruct someone who could be more fitting as a Leader but that was about as far as T’kkhe’kk’s usefulness would command. So, at that moment, he resolved to relish the duty of running Point for the squad because of his sensory abilities and durability, or act as they Heavy Hitting Tank who could hold off a squad of enemies on his own and allow the more specialized and dangerous members of the team to focus power on the Main Villain.
The Prospect of leaving the Headquarters, with the rest of the group, was at both times frightening and exciting for The Hive who’d longed to see more of this city and this world yet was mortified at the ostracizing that he knew he’d have to endure from the feeble minded masses. Maybe he’d acquire a new cloak which could shield himself much more effectively. A slow chattering came from the tips of his mandibles, which vibrated together in the Homo-Optera’s version of a human sign, a sound which was nearly inaudible to the common sense of the human but yet such a resounding resonance that it echoed off of several of the walls. It was a high pitched noise which was out of the range of humans, but the rapid vibrations were strong enough to rustle the tips of hairs as they passed, sending a chilling wave across everyone in the room. T’kkhe’kk steeled himself, something he’d had to do several times thus far and cast his vision to his communicator. It was formed into a steel band and heavily insulated before being attacked to one of his feelers. It must be insulated so it didn’t affect his sensory abilities but the feelers were an ideal place because he could press it so his mouth without hindering one of his arms, which he will require while in combat. It seemed to be functioning correctly since there was a light emitting itself from it’s front.
