Kalika Kingslayer Lyre was by the man's side in seconds. "Horrid creatures," she snarled as her mark started to glow through her glove and sleeve. She lunged recklessly at the demon. Having worked his way towards this new demon, Voidrune finally emerged from the throng on the rear of the demon, in front of which several other people with dimly glowing marks similar to his were arranged, fighting desperately. What they couldn't see from their vantage point was that there was a weak point in the armor on its neck. Seeing this, he leaped onto its back, using his momentum to plunge his swords deeply into its neck, severing its spinal chord and thus bringing it to an end. However, the danger wasn't over yet, as the beast began to fall foward, towards those that had been combatting the beast previously.

Yashamaru Takeshio Ven took his dagger and buried it in the mages stomach effectively making him swallow his words. "Your hands are bound and if I don't let you finish spells you're magic is useless now TALK." he said the last word with an angry growl before backhanding the mage. Alas, the already weakened mage had been on his last legs when Ven backhanded him. As his life left his body, the mage's will broke, and he wispered a single name: "Valerius...." With that, the last breath left his body, and he died.

While Tommy notice that the fire ball was pull away from him burning the tree a bit away from the camp, he seem to smile because he knew that other people where now helping him fight off this demon that appear. When the woman who came back out of the woods and spoke to him and attack the demon by lunging at it, he didn't answer her being he rush the demon as well holding up his hammer to smash it foot being that all he could hit for now. When he notice that it was started to fall forward toward them he because someone else attack it and killed it, this surprised him because he had no idea what made this happen but all who was there ran as fast as they could to get out of the way of the falling demon, as the mark on his chest glow faded the burning feeling continue to burned which made him wonder what was that about. He was also glad to know the feeling of danger disappear as well, looking at the woman who was making his mark burn he finally said something to her. " Thank you for helping me fight the demon miss," he then started to walk toward the biggest tent being he was now finally going to sighed up to join the army.

Ven turned his head and scanned the area as he retrieved his kusarigama and noticed a group of people one of them happened to be the man who frequented his bar. His hands burned more than ever as the looked at them he decided to see what they were up to so he took to the trees and landed next to them. "My name is Ventus. Who are you?" he asked warily of the strangers he sensed no ill will but his hands felt as though he was holding fire so he decided not to be too trusting.

Maximus cleared his throat and asked, "Anyone hurt?" His mark was burning and he could only guess at what it was. However he was being to think that these people here beared marks.

Demon soul catcher Lyre just stalked back to the stream, her mark still glowing. It was more like she fled. She couldn't control her blood lust.

"Isn't he on the Solaris Grand Council?" Asked Voidrune, puzzled by the odd question. ((ooc:shouldn't we have the marks stop reacting to each other when we find the person its reacting to? So for example, if Voidrune tracked down Ventus his mark wouldn't burn him when he's near Ventus anymore since he then would know that Ventis is Marked?))

Maximus nodded slowly and said, "Good. I'm Maximus." His mark stoped burning and he was almost sure that the others wore a mark, he had caught the mark on the woman that had left.

While it took Tommy a little while to sighed up for the army of Solaris, he had no idea that people who had the marks were around now but the mark his chest was burning a lot because of that fact. Leaving the tent he seen all who was there just when they were introducing themselves, wanted to join the them he move quickly toward them but as he got closer the burning of his mark faded. Once he got close enough to them he started speaking, "My name is Tommy and as you can see i'm fine but wondering would you mind explaining why is my mark was burning until I got closer to you people because until now my mark has never done that before?"

Ventus said calmly as he pulled off his gloves and showed his tattooed palms "Does this answer your question Tommy boy?" he asked in a sarcastic tone since he started to relax. Pulling back his hood, Voidrune turned around so that his mark would be visible as well. "It seems we have a greater destiny than we once thought, my new comrades." He said imperiously, remembering a prophecy written in a book in the library of his foster parents.

Maximus smirked and pulled up his hair showing his mark. "So it would seem. And the woman also bore a mark on her arm." He had his staff in his right hand and he looked at them gathered around.
