THe man was more than a bit surprise by her words. Afterall, he couldn't understand the Gligar and just figured the pokemon wanted to eat the apple. Though he had heard of people who could understand the hearts of their pokemon ...maybe this girl was one of those as he simply wave it away.
"It's okay, I will just get your gold afterwards."
The first toss would be a success as it would seem that Jasmine had to turn and catch it even as the man was talking to them. The gligar really was impatience as he snickers and sit back to watch the throwing continue.
That was one down ...they had four more to go.
"Move further away from each other."

((XD Gah, was hoping Jasmine was staying ambiguous enough in her comments to avoid suspicion...)) Jasmine blinked and lowered her hand to find the apple in hand, looking it over curiously there, not having expected to cathc it... Maybe she was short selling herself?
"Huh..."Ironclaw stood horrified, frozen where she had been mid step about to rush in and save Jasmine... But she laughed herself, shaking head and stepping back... This was good. Jasmine needed this... And for now she would be quiet to let the girl and Gligar bond.[There you go! Now sling it right on back, just like that!] Lindbergh clapped, swaying side to side on her tail before hopping back, ready and waiting to receive!Jasmine grinned, hopping backward as well in lieu of her crutch. "Alright then..."
And up the apple went into the air!
Up and up, Jasmine had wheeled back and released... And if anyone thought she was crazy, maybe they'd take a moment to see her method in the madness...Lindbergh watched it going up... Up... Up! And slowing, down, down... Here it came!
Up the Gligar would bound, and the advantage was apparent, more air time meant more room for Lindbergh to see where it fell, and a flying type... Suddenly as she would grab for the apple, her wings and claws collapsed around it, like a catcher's mitt to get that apple right in her grubby grasp!
It was just as well she didn't have the Klutz ability!

THought the two would be successful again as the man would simply call out.
"Get further and further apart. This is your third toss, and you both are doing beautifully."
The man declares with a big smile on his face.

Here was where it got interesting of course... Back the girl would hop and huff again, wobbling a little as she did, she was unsteady, and already a little aching, but she didn't complain, concentrating too much, not wanting to lose here, even letting loose a laugh a she could feel herself perspiring a little under the suit... Was this fun?Lindbergh hopped as well on her tail, nowhere near as drained as Jasmine, but there was a problem... Jasmine was thinking tactically, but the Gligar was by no means giving this any consideration...
No, with a laugh and a swing, up Lindbergh sent the apple flying at Jasmine, with all full force! [Get a load of this!!]And Jasmine?
She was already off balance, "Lindbergh, wait, I'm not-" She could see it coming for her, but again she had no chance to get in position, but she stumbled, letting out another yelp as she did, the apple flying as she was falling... And she did the only one thing she could think of... Throwing out the arm with the crutch, she was trying to catch the apple in its nook even as she hit the ground backside first![...]
[Um... Oops?]

The apple would splatter against the ground ..it's juices splashing in the air as it lay on the ground. The final attempt had failed, and they had literally dropped the ball as it lay there. The apple in the dust rocking to and fro .....or at least what was left of it.
"Good try."
The man would declare as he walks over to Jasmine to help her get off of the ground. He was smiling at them both ....as he lend her a hand to get back to her feet. It was also to make sure she didn't run off without paying, but he would never hint towards such a thing as he waited for her to regain her balance.

"Thanks..." she would laugh nervously, as he would have one of her arms, Ironclaw would hook under the other shoulder and effortlessly heft her up.
"I don't usually move around that much..." She admitted, rubbing behind a head nervously, before settling herself, rubbing her backside down.
Dignity still somewhat intact, she'd pull the coins out afterward to the man, glancing at the apple bits left behind, "Um... Should I pay for the apple too...?"

"Nah, you pay for the apple when you pay the fee for this booth."
The man would assure her as he went to the back. They had been successful three times as he would bring out three different items.
"Choose one,"
He would tell her with a grin. The first item was something that didn't make anyone think much of it ....a pokedoll, the second item was something a bit more unusual, a dive ball, and finally the last item was a Aspear berry.
"So, which one do you want?"

((Gah, wish I coulda been on yesterday to play some << )) "Well that's a relief," the girl more commented to herself as the man left and then came back with their prize selection, as she peered at the selection.... the dive ball was certainly very strange... it looked pretty... but...
"I think my pokémon may appreciate this more than me," she grinned underneath her costume as she'd select the Aspear Berry, before then taking out five more coins, "Is it okay if we can play again please?"A small-winged critter landed on Jasmine's shoulders, the Gligar frowning at the girl there. [Should you really be doing games like this? Your legs ain't held together with pins for aesthetics you know.]Jasmine just looked at Lindbergh and reached up for a light rub under the chin, "No need to look like that, if I feel tired I'll stop, don't worry."

"Who are you talking to miss?"
He would ask as Jasmine was scratching underneath the Gligar's chin. It was strange indeed to have a customer act so close to their pokemon, but this was beyond reason as she seemed to be having a conversation with it based on it's facial expression. Or at least, that was it appeared to the man as he simply waves away any sort of explanation quickly.
"Oh second thought, I don't want to know ....sure you can play another round."
HE smiles at her as he took and pocketed the gold.

Jasmine blinked, she thought she was being clever by not directly responding to her Pokemon, but it certainly still must have made her seem odd... She just smiled bash fully to the vendor, "Sorry, just... I'm really used to only having my Pokemon friends for company, my aunt thought it would be good for me to come here and have some fun instead."
With Lindbergh aside, she put down the 5 gold in advance before picking her new pokéball, opening it up and letting out a lightning bolt that zipped and zigzagged all around them, until the Rotom appeared by her side, "PKE? It's time to play!"

"You go long, I throw, you catch, then you toss it right back,as many times as possible, okay?" [Ooooh, shiny...]Well... That seemed to settle things, but this time, Jasmine had a plan... This time... If she started the throwing, it was less down to her and more up to PKE to work on catching here! One she would certainly follow up with as she went and threw the apple up with a grin, "Catch!"

The vendor this time was a woman, and she was already doing the shuffle as the dance floor glowed at her feet. She was shaking it with a happy flare in her Teddiursa suit.
"So, step up ...step up ..let's do the Pokemon Shuffle."
She would declare happily.
"This is a game that only pokemon can play, so pick the one with the best dance moves and step up for the Pokemon Shuffle."
IT was really up to Jasmine if she wanted to play this one.
