Cryshal stood again making sure to stretch her legs from kneeling on the ground. She brushed her legs off once more and looked back at Shinji tilting her head a bit for him to lead the way. After signaling Shinji, Cryshal looked down at Rin, she put down a hand for her to help Rin up also if she was willing to try to stand at this point. "My name is Crystal, and not to be too pushy but... If it is all the same, we would like to find the village." Cryshal smiled a bit trying to not sound too bossy, but not sounding too much like a push-over also. "I don't know about Shinji, but I've been out here for days looking for this place. Also before I forget, how was the food? Good right?" She was interested in how it tasted because she had picked them, washed them and then warmed them up a bit, each for a different time span for different tastes and consistencies. While listening for a response, she was looking down at the ground around them for any signs of footprints that might possibly lead them to the village. A few yards in front of them she noticed soft dents in the earth. "Hey Shinji, I found something... Just keep on the path that you are going right now."

Shinji would grin at cryshal as he turned to walk along the path that had been found. walking a few feet ahead of everyone else Shinji would Have to be more careful with his steps and movements as well as scanning for more clues to lead them in the right path in case the one he was on came up dry. After walking in the forest for a short period of time they finally thought they where getting somewhere until all of a sudden there was nothing. there wasn't any sign that anything had disturbed this part of the forest at all. to make things worse there was the sound of bamboo tree leaves being walked on by something with more than two legs. Shinji would be sipping from his straw when her herd the sound and would hold his right hand back signaling the other two to halt. He would allow his eyes would wander, scanning his surrounding while tightly gripping his Katana.

Shikaku rolled his eyes at the ninja's warning as they reached the forest, having already tuned out Timmy's ramblings long before. If he said anything important he'd make it known somehow after all. "You just want him to stop talking." the boy muttered in reply, absently noting that Timmy's ramblings had somehow reached the point of theorizing the possible advantages of the ninja replacing his shuriken with bagel thins, an odd recipe he'd come up with when he forgot to include a rising agent when he tried baking, something. He must have repressed whatever Timmy's actual goal had been.
As his attention returned to the present, Shikaku realized the ninja was glaring at him now, for his statement. Quickly raising his hands, palms out, in a submissive gesture, Shikaku took a worried step back. "An admirable goal, of course, if futile. I've been trying for years. He wasn't kidding when he said you'd be stuck with him you know." he quickly stated, trying to lessen the man's ire, if only a bit. Thankfully it seemed to work as the man shook his head, turned around, and started walking again, pulling the boy's along into the forest. Shikaku sighed in relief that he wasn't going to be the target of the man's physical discipline. He wasn't the most sturdy of people, and didn't particularly like pain.
As they resumed their walk, slowly getting into denser forest, Shikaku watched for his chance. If they could get loose here, they might have a chance to actually escape, but only if they could get their gear back... Much as he believed the man just wanted Timmy to shut up, he didn't doubt that there were dangerous animals out here, and he didn't want to risk meeting one unarmed. Or at all, for that matter.
Rin finished the food before nodding to the girls question, “yeah its good” She then pointed out a trail to Shinji, who proceeded to follow it. They seemed to accept her pesensce it seemed. Rin began pre-writing her thoughts on the team, about theirdemonstrated ability, their attitudes and the like. It wasn't hard, there was a lot of information present, though she wondered if she couldnt get more. As she built up her analysis, she began to speak. “I do remember hearing something about new people coming in, I guess they are going to start some sort of training very soon? A-are you two nin-” she was cut off when Shinji finally noticed the animal ahead. She stopped stumbled a few more steps before hitting Shinji and knocking him over. “HEY! What'dya slow down for!” she shouted as she rolled off of the boy, hopefully scaring the hidden beast. It had sounded like a smaller animal, and she thought she knew what it was. As much fun as it would be, she didnt want this particular group to run between a mother and her cub. Fortunately, the trail changed directions a few paces ahead, though it was uncertain whether the other two would keep track of it after that.
Cryshal smiled with great delight as Rin happily ate the food. "Well I'm glad you like it. It took me a while to figure out which berries were edible." She said with a slight chuckle. As cryshal was talking she noticed Rin writing something but did not ask what it was at the moment. She then gave her attention to Shinji suddenly. "Hey Shinji... are you okay? Is it someon-" Cryshal was cut off when she heard growling from what sounded like a large animal. Cryshal stood frozen for a second until Rin had pointed out that the tail had turned away from what ever it was. She went in the direction of which the trail had turned off, then without though gripped shinji's arm a bit not wanting to get lost, all the while looking for more trails which could possibly lead them to the village.

ooc: I apologize for holding this RP longer than it should have been on hold. There is an explanation in the OOC thread.
After being knocked to his fet by the young girl SHinji would quickly stand back up more alert than ever and a bit nervous as well. he returned back to his natural state when he felt cryshals had rest upon his shoulder. a few moments had passed and guessing from all the commotion the animal had been scared off. Shinji would close hi eyes and take a deep breath once again relaxing his nerves and continued to follow the path he was on only to find that it had ended. "Grest just great" He would think to himself before turning to face the other two. he would notice a small notebook in the little girls hand but wouldn't pay it much of any mind. seeing that cryshal was looking on one direction he would decide to begin his search once again in the opposite to try and cover a bit more ground. but he would have no luck.

((For rp sake I think we should skip the forest search... thing, since It wont do much more than slow down RP. Lets find the village and see what it has in store shall we? (Hinote, I'll post with Timmy soon)))
Rin frowned as they lost the trail again, they weren't exactly trackers yet but that wasnt exactly groundbreaking news. As much fun as it would be to drag things out these weren't the only ninja entering the village, and there was still plenty else to be doing. She would get her chance later to toy with the students, it might even be funner after some training. "Ooh wait wait! I recognize this place!" Rin shouted, as energetic as she could. After a few hops she ran slowly towards the village. she pushed her way through the bamboo and ducked under thickly grown areas. It would be tough to follow, as it wasn't exactly easy terrain, but it would be easy to keep track of the girl thanks to the noise she was making. [Exit to Tent clearing]

“HEY! I resemble that statement!” Timmy shouted at shikaku, before turning towards the ninja once more. “A truly admirable goal would be to invest in my ability to drive people insane. Look, heres the deal. If we open a uh... 'clinic for those lacking sufficient mental capacities' then send me on a trip across the country. We petition the Daimyo to help us build this clinic so thr country isn't filled with nutcases. I can drive people insane, fill up our building in a matter of weeks. We charge their families a small fortune, plus the Daimyo's monthly paychecks, and we-”
“No way! That is genius! We should totally, shut the hell up! Seriously there are panthers in here and I dont really care to protect you morons from them.” The ninja slapped Timmy's head as hard as possible. “I should've brought a gag or something, shut you up for good.”
“I wouldn't bother, Xieng says I have an uncanny ability to talk out my bum. There is also a strong theory that if I stopped talking I'd explode.” as he spoke Timmy gave his ties a slight tug, as he been doing regularly since their journey started. Either it was annoyance, or exhaustion but his grip had loosened. “Something I also hear a lot these days is Roallin Nudyer. It's a word which means something along the lines of- Dni Berdm!” With a sudden burst of energy Timmy launched himself towards the ninja, ramming him with the brunt of his shoulder before tugging on his ties. It was enough and the guy lost his grasp of the line. It was up to Shikaku to do his part now.
((Meh, for the record I am not too well rested. pardon any typos etc. Felt I should get my post in.))

If there was anything Shikaku had expected Timmy's latest ramblings to end with, it was not a sudden break for freedom. Really. usually it was up to Shikaku to do that bit, and he was still working on his plan. best to never let Timmy find out about that. Nonetheless, it was with only a mere moment of hesitation that he lurched forward alongside his self proclaimed brother, aiming just a bit lower and bringing his hands up. As luck would have it, he had a direct shot to the man's supply pouch, and he took it. Fumbling with the latch, unable to get a good grip due to his hands being tied, he gave an unexpectedly hard pull and the pouch popped right off the guy's belt! A slide clasp, on a ninja!
Suppressing the intense need to laugh, Shikaku instead shouted "Gibbert!" and spun to the right, diving into the forest at a dead sprint, still fumbling with the pouch. Finally getting a hand inside a moment later, he pulled out a random blade and slit the line around his wrists, letting it fall to the ground. Under other circumstances he'd have kept it, but... Not today. Quickly passing the blade to Timmy to cut himself loose as well, Shikaku clipped the pouch to his own belt and kept running, following a slightly trampled path they'd managed to stumble right onto. Feeling the need to say something, but not really having anything to say, Shikaku simply opened his mouth and let the words fall out, a practice that seemed to work well for and with Timmy. "We can't use that plan now, since you told him. It was a good one too, though it probably wouldn't last long." Huh. Maybe he should have just kept his mouth shut.
Cryshal quickly realized that she was still holding on to Shinji's arm but yet, he did not move or say anything about it. She began to think if he actually liked having her around, if so she was definitely not used to it. So without saying a single word she casually let go of his arm to see if he noticed. Right when she did that, the little girl hopped off of Shinji's shoulders and started to run off, Cryshal watched her run off and looked at Shinji, "We should follow her, obviously she knows where she is going." Cryshal wants to ask him if he likes having her around, but she is afraid of the answer. He was the only friend she's had since she could remember. Then she runs off in the direction that Rin went. Shinji would turn around after hearing the young girl shouting and begin to wonder how she suddenly knew where to go. the two girls ahead of him where moving fast and he didn't have much time to dwell on it because he knew that he would get lost if he spent too much time. and quite frankly he was pretty tired of being in this god forsaken forest. he was in need of some fresh water anyways. all was not at lost because he had made a friend while out here in this forest. tho he didn't quite show it he had taken a liking to cryshal and would consider her the first friend he made while entering the village. this was considered a big deal to him because of his attitude towards most people. not trying to dwell in his mind for much longer he began to make his way towards the village behind the two girls ahead of him.
Timmy was already well on his way when Shikaku started running, and was nearly on the end of the line which bound the two together. Fortunately, they knew each other well and chose the same non-path to escape. A less experienced duo would undoubtedly have gotten hung up on a bamboo stalk, or even tried to run in different directions. When Shikaku handed Timmy a knife, he gladly cut the ties and, after slipping the knife into his belt, rubbed his raw wrists. It was a thin line, and it cut a little into his skin every time he tested it. "naw, dont worry about it. I've got a million better ones. Besides, sounds like more of a headache than anything. Imagine, all those noodle brains, with their macaroni pictures and face makeup? The wedding thing is where the gold is at my friend!" Of course, neither of them was talking loudly at this point, even Timmy, and while Shikaku took the lead and started guiding them, Timmy stood in back and kept an ear out in case the ninja showed again. "I must be nuts to say this but... I wish you didnt grab that bag. Hes a freaking ninja man! now I gotta try and go to bed knowing that at any time some freak in black spandex might try and murder me in my sleep! You know how those guys work right? they aint exactly city guards. They have the ability to kill with a soggy pineapple if they wanted to! How do you even GET a pineapple soggy?" Timmy, realizing he had started speaking quite loudly, quickly scanned the area for followers.
----- Meanwhile... 5 minutes away... --- The ninja frowned, standing and staring after the two boys. Should he chase them? He didnt have much in that pouch, but this was the second time they had managed to steal from him! But that kid is sooo annoying! Perhaps this would serve as a good excuse to kill the loudmouth, but frankly he wasn't the killing type. Not killing orphans who only survive thanks to pocket change at least, even if the pocket change isnt their own. He knew the direction they went though, and he smiled to himself. They just might meet again anyways. Guess it's up to fate now.
