I will never leave this guild, its my home now, and as for the lively hood of my fannibalism, idk wat to do, im with the rest of the crowd slowly awaiting for the next season (cause waiting for season 3 is too mainstream i'm waiting for season 4 lool) to keep my mind from fading into madness im waiting for Teen Wolf

the mage-girl Maybe we could encourage fan art and fan fiction sharing? Personally, I can't draw, and so far I haven't been inspired on a Hannibal fic idea, but that may change. wink Oh, God. I just got an idea for a scene with Alana outlining the pros and cons of being with Will vs. Hannibal. rofl Also, we could do a countdown post for upcoming events like the season 2 DVD release, the start of season 3 filming, season 3 premiere, etc. As well as sightings of the Hannibal cast in other roles! I'm sure they are going to be up to stuff between now and season 3. We could do contests for things like this: * Best/funniest explanation for what Abigail's been up to between when we saw her last with Hannibal, and when she turned up in the finale * Best/funniest explanation for Bedelia going off with Hannibal * Best/funniest explanation for Chilton's absence (he's not really dead, is he?) * Best/funniest reason why Freddie is still alive (note: I don't like Freddie) Etc. You get the idea. Hope this helps! heart Those are awesome Ideas. I'd love to hear people's theories about what Abigail was up to in the depths of hannibals house for so long - or 12 weeks whatever it was. heehee. That sounds like a fan fiction in itself! I can open a subforum for fan art if you think that would be a good idea, and we already have a writing subforum. I can't draw either, but I do like to write. I have an idea for a set of stories that revolve around Hannibal and Charles Augustus Magnussen from sherlock. So I guess it will be a cross over, but yeah. Ever since I saw Mads' brother I knew i wanted to sit the two characters down to dinner together.

Okami Tenrou I never know about any of the events/threads until weeks after they have been posted. And the reason I couldn't participate in the Season 2 events was that they always seemed to coincide within the same weeks as my midterms. ._. More events would be nice, especially if they could be simpler. I just don't have time to cook or draw, so perhaps having various smaller events with smaller prizes might sound more appealing to the people who come here. I'd be happy to run more events if I could guarantee that people were going to participate. Also, I have no idea what kinds of contests to run. I'm completely against bumping contests or dice rolls because they are just redundant and I think that in a guild that's about hannibal something should be hannibal related. Give me some ideas, and I'll run the contests. Also, I try to send out guild announcements when ever possible but I know that people don't really read them because Gaia sends out enough cash announcements that no one cares anymore.

Bambi_Panda Sorry if these ideas have already been done, but I haven't been too involved with the Guild: + Book club: we could read through the books and have mini discussions about the contents - compare them to the show etc. + Movie club: similar to the book club but we could watch movies with Hugh Dancy or Mads or some such thing + Make a Hannibal art gallery I dunno- people have mentioned advertising with Hannibal-themed avis, that also seems like a good idea to me. We did a book club last summer - or we tried to and we read Red Dragon but it didn't go to well. The movie club sounds like a great idea! I have to locate the movies again because I only have them on VHS and I don't have a player for those right now. But sounds like a great idea to me. I'd love to open an art gallery subforum.

I really do how that we get a season 4, 5, 6, and 7. Or so that is what Bryan Fuller has teased that there will be as long as things go according to his plan. I'm just waiting for september, really, when all of my other shows will come back on. As long as I can make it through to next year then I should be good. We do have a lot to look forward to. The season 2 DVD releases. The start of filming. What kinds of characters they are going to introduce. Who is going to play Lady Murasaki and Will's wife from Red Dragon - Molly.

Oh man- that sucks about the book club. I read Silence of the Lambs recently and couldn't put it down. Hopefully if we did a movie thing it would get more of a response because of the decreased time commitment. angel_of_joy Bambi_Panda Sorry if these ideas have already been done, but I haven't been too involved with the Guild: + Book club: we could read through the books and have mini discussions about the contents - compare them to the show etc. + Movie club: similar to the book club but we could watch movies with Hugh Dancy or Mads or some such thing + Make a Hannibal art gallery I dunno- people have mentioned advertising with Hannibal-themed avis, that also seems like a good idea to me. The only reason the last event was so condensed and there were so many of them is because I was trying to build up the enrolment and activity in the guild while trying to have a finale party of sorts and it backfired. I've also tried the fan fiction contest once before - outside of the guild - and it didn't fly. I think i need to get some of the more involved people in the guild on board to help me out. Now that I am the captain - I wasn't a year ago when it was started - I can do more with more people or find more people to help me run this place.

Maybe they could happen every/every-other weekend - start with SotL, then Hannibal, then Red Dragon? Maybe we could even watch Man Eater, but I imagine that would be harder for people to get their hands on...

Now that the TV show is in between seasons it's going to be a lot harder to recruit people. Still I'm not sure how we can go out and recruit people without ending up looking like Chatterbox spammers. More activities would be a good start I guess.
