Taiyou

Taiyou couldn't help but blush even brighter as the man approached him, Soushi just didn't understand the human culture, which wasn't necessarily his fault but he did wish the blood would stop rushing to his cheeks so much. "Well maybe you should practice it anyways, not like it could hurt." he mumbled under his breath, keeping his back turned toward Soushi's naked form out of respect and drawing shapes in the data the simulated sand. "I'll go in when you put on some clothes!" he barked, being a little louder than he had anticipated as he took off the his sweater which was now making him sweat profusely when combined with the heat. Once he gave Soushi enough time to dress, Taiyou walked over to the pool, which looked so clear he could almost see the bottom. Such clear water was rare to come by in his world, he got down on his knees and took a closer look at it and found that this was made up of data as well. The more data he found to simulate things that looked so much like earth the more fascinated he became, he just hoped the data on his bare skin wouldn't hurt him.

Taiyou stood back up and turned to look at Soushi eating. "Turn around...don't look!" he instructed, turning his own back to Soushi so the man couldn't see anything, although he couldn't help but smile a little. Taiyou was starting to sound like a woman who had a crush on the boy she was stranded with. The only difference being Taiyou didn't have a crush on Soushi, only admired him from a scientific point of view. Taiyou took his time to take off the shirt he wore underneath his sweater, his jeans, after checking to make sure Soushi wasn't looking at him, and then the garments that protected his feet such as shoes and socks. Taiyou really wished he had a pair of shorts or just some clothing that wasn't roasting him in this desert. Now that he was totally naked, Taiyou slipped into the cool pool, trying not to think of the fact that he wasn't really in a pool. After all, the sensation of temperature was mostly in one's mind to control. The water felt so good and began to cool him off right away; Taiyou dunked his head under the surface and then floated back to air, sighing happily. "This is nice..." he said softly, watching Soushi from the pool.

Taiyou

Taiyou blushed a bit at the man's question about the bath houses. "Y-yes we do....but we don't just run around naked! The men wear towels around their hips so they're not...you know...'flashing' other men. It's not really appealing to see old mens naked genitals in the bathtub you know." he grumbled as he dunked his head under the nanomachines that simulated water. When he came back to the surface he heard Soushi talking more and more but it did little to store in his memory about what was said. If anything the information Soushi gave him was purely informative, but he didn't know what to do with the information.

Taiyou gave a heavy sigh from the pool, the man was still acting as though he were annoyed with every little thing Taiyou did and said. Why was Soushi always so pessimistic. He went back over to Soushi and used his hands to splash the android who was still sitting with his back to him. "Stop being so negative all the time. Have you ever smiled?? Ever???" he asked, his voice accidentally giving a slight high pitched squeak.

Taiyou


Taiyou grumbled a bit, there was the man's problem. The poor android never smiled, and he was willing to bet that Soushi had never felt happiness either. It was a general knowledge to humans that robots couldn't feel emotions but if Soushi could feel annoyance, which was plainly seen in his expressions, then he was sure the android could feel happiness if Taiyou tried really hard to make him happy. After Soushi went to sleep, Taiyou decided it was about time he got out of the water and work on warming up by the fire. Once he was dry enough, Taiyou put on his clothes from earlier and looked at his bracelet. A sleeping bag was necessary for the night but he didn't want to make it drop onto the fire and risk burning it. Taiyou turned with his back to the fire and waved his hand rather rapidly until a rolled up sleeping bag popped out; proud of himself for getting it right this time, he unrolled it and slipped right inside. He stared up at the falling data in the sky and wondered if his family noticed he was gone. Taiyou sighed and tried to sleep, though it was a difficult battle.

The next morning Taiyou woke up more sleepy than when he fell asleep, it had not been a great night sleeping outdoors with no roof over them. He looked over and noticed Soushi was still sleeping. Unsure of whether he should wake the android or not, Taiyou stood up and waved his hand over his sleeping bag again to make it go back into his bracelet. Luckily is was still very early in the morning and the heat hadn't picked up a whole lot yet, but he knew this temperature wouldn't last. Taiyou looked around his environment and could see something moving in the distance that looked like a crawling rock. Curious, he walked toward it to take a closer look and saw that it appeared to be some kind of crustacian that resembled a very mechanical looking crab with a long pointed tail. "What the heck are you?" he asked curiously, kneeling down and looking at it from all angles but he still couldn't figure it out.

Taiyou

Taiyou was rather enjoying his mission to figure out the creature he found, completely unaware that Soushi was awake or the fact that there were hordes more of the small crab-like creatures rushing from behind him. Taiyou jumped and quickly moved back about ten feet when he saw a bolt of blue light eradicate the one crab creature in front of him. His heart pounded violently against his chest as he was trying to figure out what was going on. Then he saw Soushi attacking the millions more that were coming at him in waves, much like large cockroaches would invade a kitchen. There was so much going on he didn't have time to think when he saw the giant crab boss and realized it wasn't such a good idea to interact with the creatures he saw in this world.

Still breathing heavily, he looked back at Soushi who now seemed cool and collected as if nothing happened. "You know, I would have been just fine if you hadn't intervened!!" he yelled angrily as he ran toward the man and back to where they were camped. "If you hadn't shown up with your guns blazing, I would have been just fine! Those others didn't even show up until after you killed the one little crab!" he exclaimed before he calmed down a little and looked back at where the battlefield was. "What were those things anyways?" he asked curiously, he was mostly angry at the fact that Soushi practically 'saved' him, like some damsel in distress. Soushi hadn't even given Taiyou a chance to fight for himself.

Taiyou

Taiyou listened to Soushi, his anger dissipating as he listened. Maybe there were more threats in this world than he thought. He was definitely going to need Soushi's help if they were going to fight off anything that was going to hurt them. "Oh..." was all he found the knowledge to say. There were so many rules with this world, how was he going to learn all of this? "Well....thank you." he said softly. "Sorry for yelling." Taiyou was a bit embarrassed to be appologising but he had been wrong to yell in the first place.

Taiyou made some food appear as well, a cheeseburger and fries popped up but they were slightly different. The fries were actually more like breadsticks and the burger was still a bit rare but it was food nonetheless. He couldn't expect the food to be absolutely perfect. He sort of wished these powers Mother Computer mentioned would make their appearance soon. Taiyou hated having people fight his battles for him but his talisman's were pretty much ineffective here. Feeling a little homesick, Taiyou got out the stone one of his siblings found and enchanted with a spell. It was an important object to him because it was smooth like a river stone but it had a hole of considerable size through the middle. Taiyou peered an eye through it and looked over at Soushi with it but he didn't see Soushi normally. He saw right though the android's humanoid features through to his metal hardware. Taiyou hadn't expected to see this and when he did, the frightening sight made him squeak a bit and jump slightly, making him drop the stone. Taiyou picked it up and looked around the desert with it, seeing right through the holograms and appearances. "I can see everything with this! I wonder if this stone can help us find hidden paths?"

Taiyou

Taiyou looked around through the hole in the stone. "Well...I can see traces of where we came from but its not very bright...." he said softly, continuing to look around his environment. "I think I see something past the Oasis but it's too far for me to make out what it is." he said softly, noticing that it was hovering slightly, judging from how it bobbed up and down a little. "I think it's a doorway or a portal or something. It's not moving anywhere, just hovering I think." he said softly, pointing in the direction he was looking so Soushi could look as well and find out what it was.

Taiyou had a slight burning itch in the middle of his chest, he reached to scratch it but it wasn't satisfying it much. For the most part he ignored it and focused on his surroundings. "Are we going to walk through this whole desert?" he asked softly, continuing to look around in a fascinated manner at all of the mechanical workings of everything.

Taiyou

Taiyou watched as Soushi performed some calculations within himself and wondered what was going on his brain. Before he could even blink Soushi had stepped into something and disappeared, at least that is how it appeared to Taiyou without using the stone he was given by his siblings. He lifted the stone back to his eye so he could look through the gaping hole that penetrated the smooth surface, seeing Soushi hovering in midair a little. "Soushi!" he called, hoping the android was okay.

Not long after he called to Soushi, he saw the man step onto the ground and rushed to his side. "Are you okay?? What happened?" he asked curiously, already checking the man for wounds, even though Taiyou knew Soushi didn't have any and could probably heal himself if he did but it was an automatic human reaction.

Taiyou

Taiyou read what was on his arm and almost read what was written except for one thing that read DATA FLOWER. They couldn't have found it already, it was too soon. Even Mother Computer couldn't find it, if it was this easy Taiyou was sure he wouldn't be here. "Wait....what does this mean?" he asked softly, watching the words on his arm disappear mysteriously. Taiyou watched the man wander back over to their original camp and quickly ran after him, much like a child would run after a parent.

It wasn't long after he started running that there was a violent rumble from right under his feet. The rumble was so loud it almost hurt Taiyou's ears as he watched the ground vibrate. Then there was something that felt like a breakthrough as a sand serpent broke the surface and stood high above them. His body made entirely of solid, sharp numbers and letters, his teeth made of jagged numbers, his data scales shining bright in the hot sun. Taiyou turned around wide eyed to see the creature behind him. "Soushi!!! I need your help!!" he called as he ran for the android, the serpent watched his pray run and began to attack the ground just a few feet behind him, diving into and out of the sand almost like a dolphin would in the water.
