If he hoped she wouldn't want to play with his hair, even after this, he was very wrong. She loved toying with his hair. And he'd just have to deal with it. Or punish her. Both options worked. Not to mention she figured there would be consequences. Which only made it that much more exciting.

The feel of his fingers massaging the back of her head felt amazing. And she was sort of reluctant to give him reason to stop. Even his hungry kiss was almost too much. Sadly, she was a feisty thing and nothing was ever done the easy way with her. So yes, she bit him. For the second time. Adding in a kiss against the lip she'd gotten. Not that she figured that would save her.

She was so in trouble.

Fini gasped, arching her back up into him as fingers pressed into her bruised side. It was unexpected, hurt like a b***h for a few seconds, but got a reaction out of her for sure. As did the fist pulling at her hair. It was on now. Her eyes flashed a fiery blue as she pressed up into him more. Those fingers that had been tracing gently before dug nails in, slowly dragging them down to the waistband of his pants.

A few more bruises or so wouldn't kill her, right? Totally right.

She wasn't backing down and with that sinful little feline grin, she sealed her fate by kissing him with a sassy passion of her own, and yes. She bit him again.

This was not something he had really accounted for, but it wasn't an unpleasant surprise when Fini responded accordingly, and then with nails digging into his skin and raking down his back. He let out a quiet hiss that tapered into a soft moan, and would have chuckled a bit if he'd had a chance, but she was kissing him again, and biting again, and he had to concentrate on other things, like making sure she didn't get too far ahead of herself, and that no matter what, it was him that stayed in control.

...Though letting her do things he didn't expect could be nice too. Still, he wanted it to be his choice to let her do them, not the other way around.

So maybe that was why he grabbed a hold of her hair even harder and rolled, forcing her to follow him and allowing her the opportunity to have him no longer on top of her. Of course, in such a small bed, the action could have nearly had them both toppling out onto the floor, and it was close, but they didn't.

Not yet at least. Who knew what might happen in the throes of passion later.....

------------------------------

Speaking of later.

The room was hot. That was one thing Finn could definitely attest to and was more then likely the reason the blanket was back on the floor, along with the top sheet and the pillows. Finn himself laid stretched out, turned on to his stomach, his hair damp with humidity, his body covered in a sheen of sweat. It was uncomfortable, and horrible, and he needed a shower as soon as he could possibly get one, for once actually looking forward to it being cold.

There were parts of him that ached, but not in a bad way, mostly in areas where nails had dug fiercely into his skin, though he was feeling a little raw in a few other specific places as well.

And he loved it. He had loved every second of it. He had picked a good one, he knew he had.

Without a word, though with a light groan, he rolled over onto his back, sat up, and made himself get out of the bed. It was too hot there anyways. too hot everywhere. The window was still open from when he'd been smoking earlier, but there was no breeze to cut through the heavy heat in his bedroom.

Within seconds he had opened up each drawer to pull out an item of clothing, and then closed it. A pink t-shirt was flung towards Fini, but nothing else because...well, if she hadn't brought a pair of pants to wear, that was her own fault, not his.

Getting dressed to the point where he had on a pair of jeans and little else, Finn ran fingers through his now disgusting hair before making a grab for the cigarette on top of his dresser next to the lighter, prepared to finish it now before getting on with....well, whatever was left of the day.

They definitely had some things to work out between them. But for the time being, Fini let him get away with directing her where he wanted. Besides, she got to do what she wanted. Even if he thought he was in control. Which, he was to a degree. But she was a fighter and she made him work to keep in control.

Though she did quite enjoy the chance to be on top...

Later, however, she was not quite sure if she'd have wanted to be on top or curled in a ball in some dark corner. Okay so maybe that hadn't been the best of choices. Especially considering the... condition her body had been in from the start. And it's current condition. So many things ached. But ohgod she couldn't complain about it all. There were places that ached blissfully.

She liked it. Loved it. Hell, she regretted nothing of it and would most likely let it all be done again.

Just... not now. She was exhausted and felt gross while her hair clung to the sheen of sweat along her own body. Her eyes were half open, curled on her side next to Finn. Who managed to roll over and sit up. Fini just closed her eyes, a smile playing at her lips.

Son of a b***h, but it was hot in there. A soft groan escaped as she inched towards the edge of the bed, finally managing to sit up. With a few hisses and a soft curse uttered. There were plenty of new marks forming along her already bruised body. And then there was a t-shirt smacking her in the face and a little noise escaping. She looked at the offending object then back at the man that had flung it.

Fini just gave him a slow look, liking the nicely fitted jeans on him. He pulled the look off well. "Now who's a mess?" She murmured, voice a little hoarse. Standing slowly, she stretched her arms above her head, groaning as several things popped and throbbed and hey, Finn, you were getting a free show! Still clutching the shirt, she searched along the floor until she found her undergarments, slipping into them and his shirt. Which was a little tight, but not too bad.

A shower was definitely next on her to do list. And then they probably really should go find something to eat.

Moving a little slowly and definitely limping, Fini made her way over to where Finn stood, raising up on her toes to place a very tender kiss on his cheek. "Y'know... I think you earned the 'sexy' title." She smirked, stepping back to comb her fingers through her hair while he smoked the rest of his cigarette. "Shower?" She sort of asked, sort of was telling him. And then food. And... maybe some time just spent hanging out?

He was very much aware of what he had likely done to her, exacerbating her injuries, and in some sense quite purposefully. It was probably because of this that he found himself putting distance between them while he let himself think, which he found difficult to do with hunger twisting in his gut again, this time too strong to ignore. Had he taken it too far? She hadn't seemed to mind, at the time, that was for certain, and a small smirk played along his lips as he lit up his cigarette, his back to the window as he watched her rise from the bed and stretch, wondering at how he could be so lucky that she hadn't gone running away from him yet.

He watched her get dressed while taking long drags on a too dry smoke, one that was burning away much faster then was reasonable given how much he needed it. When she put on his shirt and he noticed how...well, tight, it fitted in a certain area, he nearly winced.

She was going to stretch it out. Good thing it wasn't one of his favorites.

He remained silent though he could have thought of a million things to say, debating, questioning himself, his motives with her, wondering at the feelings he was already displaying towards her and trying to decipher whether they were real or merely a fabrication, if he was just trying so hard to feel something that his mind could actually make this all up. The jealousy, the desire, the possessiveness....was it all real? It certainly felt real.

How long had it been since he felt anything even close to this? He couldn't deny the way his pulse quickened at the sight of her, at the way his lips pulled up into a smile seemingly of their own accord. He couldn't help but feel mildly concerned with every hiss and groan and quiet curse. How badly had he hurt her? Not to the point of breaking, at least that much was evident...well, he hoped anyways. She looked okay even as she limped towards him from across the short expanse of bedroom.

He didn't answer her first question until she got there, and the small smile pulled up into a larger one, his eyes, however.....

Still cold. Who was even surprised anymore.

"Still you, Sunshine, only now you are a hot mess, which is even worse then just a mess, I hear." He teased, taking one last drag of his smoke before butting it out on the outside of his window sill and flicking it to the ground.

He bent down slightly to receive his kiss, but then turned to cup her chin with his hand and gave her a more proper one on the lips, though his own were feeling particularly sore and battered thanks to somebodies incessant biting habits.

And then she called him sexy, and he barked a laugh. As if there was any doubt! He kissed her again because he could, and because he liked doing it (at least he felt as though he liked it, and that was good enough for him).

"A shower, yes that is where I'll be going. You'll be off to get us something to eat then? Make sure you clean everything up while I'm gone."

He was still totally teasing. Totally.

Right?

They probably would have laughed at one another, if either of them had bothered to voice some of the thoughts racing through their minds. Fini was, reluctant to admit, but she was scared to find out the answer. Yet at the same time... feeling a little desperate to know. Was this something that could continue to grow between them? She wasn't used to having someone, well... get this close to her. Gale had been the only one she'd shown some sort of close bond with. And that was more of a sibling sort of thing.

But then she met Finn. And there were feelings that kept cropping up whenever she was around him. Not to mention she'd let him claim her as his. Completely.

At least, that's what had been going through her mind last night. As for this morning? She'd just wanted him.

His constantly cold eyes didn't even bother her any longer. It was just... Finn.

Fini had enough modesty in her to flush a little at his teasing. He was right. She still was a mess. And hot. "So you would be correct." She said in an airy tone, still a bit soft. Then he was giving her a proper kiss damnit! It almost made her knees weak. His kisses were wonderful little things. Things she very much liked.

His laughter earned a sigh that quickly turned into a raised eye look. Oh, was that how things were supposed to go next? Oh hellll no, Finn. Fini reached up to tug at a strand of his hair. "Is that what you think? Sorry to disappoint you, sweetheart. But I'll be taking a shower. And getting myself some food." She teased right back, only half serious. Though she left it up to him to determine which half she was serious about. Fini let a finger trace along his jaw before tapping his lips.

And then she sashayed (as much as she could because good grief too many things hurt!) towards his door, pausing to toss him an indecipherable look before slipping - or limping swiftly - out his door before he could catch her.

Once outside, she didn't want to be caught just standing there - especially if Nevada saw her - and went the few doors down to hide in her room. Where she took several long minutes to breathe and gather her thoughts. Not that her room was any comfort since all she could think about was everything they had managed to do on such small beds. So she gathered her toiletries and fled to the women's bathrooms. Where she found the furthest shower stall to occupy. And it was the most heavenly thing she'd felt. Fini took the time to scrub the last remnants of her cherry shampoo into as much of her hair as she could, and scrub her body with the tiny soap she had left. Many cuts stung and all her bruises throbbed. But to feel clean and fresh was well worth the pain.

She wasn't sure how long she spent in the shower, but once there was nothing left to rinse out and she was just standing there, Fini called it done with and wrapped herself and hair in a towel before padding back to her room. Where she spent a good 15 minutes getting her hair to a damp state before putting it up in a ponytail. Dressing was much quicker as she had an inkling of what she wanted to wear. Something cute. Which wound up being one of her long light sweater tops, leggings, boots and a beanie.

She felt much more like herself, and most of the evidence from her fights was hidden now. Speaking of the tournament... Fini spotted the bag full of whatever loot she'd won. She picked it up, setting it on her desk before rummaging around her room in search of a few things she'd kept hidden for just such an occasion. It wasn't much, and honestly, they were probably a little close to being stale. But in her opinion, still so much better than the MRE's.

Box of pop-tarts in hand, she grabbed her goodie bag and paused at her door. Should she go back? Did she want to go back over? Maybe they should put some distance between themselves... Apparently her mind and body were on two separate wavelengths. Her feet were already in motion and heading back to Finn's room. She knocked and waited before opening his door slowly. "Finn?" She called out, not seeing him in there. Frowning, she figured he was take a shower still. Smiling a little, she slipped in side, setting the objects she carried on his bed. Where she down and let her mind wander back to her previous thoughts.

Fini would come back to a room that had been tidied up, with all traces of the night before and the morning afterwards picked up so that the room was restored to it's meticulously clean state. He had watched her go with an amused smirk on his face, wondering if she planned on coming back, and deciding that he would dwell on it later, needing to get too much done now, and mentally telling himself off for wasting so much of the day when he should have been out doing other things.

Not that he regretted staying in and doing what he had done. That had been far too pleasant to feel bad about doing. It was just that he preferred to be much more productive with his time, and though it had been a nice break from the ordinary day, now he was hours behind what he would have already done. Going out for an early morning jog and a round of weapon practice on the training field would have to be nixed, and he'd be lucky if he found time to go and have a look at the plants he had helped to grow, to weed and water and check on their progress.

With an audible sigh once she was gone, he rubbed at his face for what felt like the hundredth time, and second guessing himself for what felt like the millionth, before he moved around the room and began to pick up what was on the floor. PJ bottoms were folded in half and rolled up and tucked neatly back into his drawer, then next came the bed. After that, he hauled out the cleaning supplies he kept hidden at the back of his closet behind his row of boots. A bucket, some cloths, bleach, and a small container of yellow, lemon scented dish soap he had nicked from the kitchen. He'd have to head out to fill the bucket with water, though he didn't feel like spending any time heating it on a gas stove.

Walls were scrubbed, surfaces were polished, corners were dusted. The window was left open in hopes of airing out any lingering scent of cigarette smoke, and everything was put away before he pulled a bag of toiletries out next, eyeing up the bag of laundry that was accumulating in his closet as well, before finally heading out to shower.

Again he had found himself cleaning up with nothing but a bar of soap and cold water, though he saw no reason not to scrub it into his hair as if it was shampoo, because it was better then nothing at all. He spent a long time soaking in the water, and making sure he was thoroughly cleaned before finally stepping out, one towel going around his waist while a second was used to dry his hair as best as he could.

Next came teeth brushing and flossing, before he rinsed out his mouth with mouthwash that had been diluted with water to help make it last. Then it was back to his hair again as he towel dried it yet more, narrowed eyes assessing himself in a large mirror, gaze lingering on angry red marks on his shoulders, before he turned and got a look at the ones trailing down his back.

He smirked, unable to not appreciate the way she had been persistent enough to manage to leave marks on him, though he knew they would likely fade throughout the day until they were gone.

This quick healing stuff was kind of cool, but a bit of a killjoy in some respects.

Getting himself back into his jeans, he left both towels in the used bin as he made his way out, his hair all disheveled but only to help it to dry faster, his bag of toiletries tucked under one arm as he made his way down the hallway towards the common room, where he hoped to find an MRE stashed away somewhere.

As luck would have it, one of the cupboards appeared to be fairly well stocked, as though somebody had only recently decided they could do with some more. Pulling one out, he flopped down on one of the couches, clearly in no hurry to get back to his room as he used his teeth to tear the package open, and scrounged around until he found a package of dried fruit, which he also tore open and began to chew on, while lost in his own thoughts, staring without really seeing at a black television screen.

When the package was empty he stood up, now with his bag he had taken to the showers with him and the opened MRE bag in hand, finally making his way back to his room to finish getting ready for the day.

He pushed his way inside of the room without thought, going straight to the closet to get rid of his things, though something else caught his attention before he could get there.

"Hello, Sunshine." He smirked at her, stopping in his tracks and turning towards where she was sat upon his bed. He was somehow both surprised and not surprised at all to see her back. "Didn't know whether to expect you to return or not. Just couldn't wait to get back in my bed, I see. Been waiting long?" He took in her change of clothes, something a little more stylish then what he'd seen her in before, as most other times she had been in uniform or dressed in clothes made for bumming around all day or....well, wearing what she had the night before.

Turning back to the task of getting rid of his things, he dropped his MRE bag on the bed as he went past, a slightly...uplifted feeling developing inside of him that he wasn't sure how to consider.

She honestly didn't realize how long or quick it too him to return to his room. It had dawned on her that it smelled... clean. Like her adoptive mother's kitchen used to smell when they'd had cleaning days. Fini had been surprised at both the fact Finn had managed to clean so well... and that she'd remembered that memory. It wasn't often that things like that would come back to her, but she felt a small smile form nonetheless.

Since she had the time to herself and her thoughts, Fini allowed herself to think about the current situation. Yes, she felt strongly about Finn. And it was more than the friendly way she felt towards some of the others she considered 'friend'. Or even the sibling like feeling she felt towards Gale. It was... more than that. There was a ridiculously elated feeling that would flutter through her whenever she saw him. And they way she'd acted last night...

:: The answer should be obvious, precious. :: Vashi's dark tones whispered, a strange hint of acceptance hidden in it.

Fini closed her eyes, slipping her feet from her boots to fold her legs under her. She hadn't even touched the pop-tarts she'd brought, focused too much on her thoughts. Concentrating, and with the assistance of an image or two from Vashi, it was almost easy to picture herself sitting there with the varcolac across from her. Which was what they usually did for the serious conversations.

:: I... I know. But at the same time- ::

:: You're scared. I know. I can read your thoughts, my dear. :: He snorted at her. :: Is it that difficult to let someone in so close? Besides me, of course, because no one can out do me in magnificence! ::

Her frown increased. Was it difficult? Yes was the immediate answer. The one that was a defense. But that wasn't how she felt. Wasn't what she wanted now, was it? If Finn wanted to see where this... led, she wanted to let it fly!

:: We also need to work on your defense, precious. That side of yours too much more abuse then I am happy with. Not to mention everything else that damned pervert did to you- ::

The rest of the time was spent bickering back and forth with Vash on things that would probably be embarrassing to say out loud, though the damned mutt had a few good pointers to share. So when Finn actually did return to his room, Fini didn't notice the door open right away. Or that there was another person in the room. Until she heard his voice. Startled only a little, she blinked rapidly to focus on him, and tossed him a sassy little look.

"Maybe I just wanted to make sure it wasn't one long, glorious, dream." She said cheekily, blue eyes as always having that impish glint to them. "And... I don't think so?" There was a hint of uncertainty in her tone, as really, she had no idea how long she'd been waiting. Time tended to become fuddled when she spoke with Vash as she had. Though from his grumbling, maybe she had been here for a while?

She glanced at the MRE bag he dropped on the bed, noting she'd not even tried to eat. Whoops! "You really thought I wouldn't come back?" Okay, that so had not been what she'd meant to ask. It had just slipped out and since she couldn't take it back, Fini leveled him with a... strange look. Clearly they were jumping right into the important conversation.

:: Thatta girl! :: Vashi snickered. Well damn.

Finn's eyes narrowed slightly when he noticed she seemed a bit...off. Had she simply just been daydreaming when he had come in? It was a possibility. His smirk only widened however, and he moved towards the closet to get rid of his small bag, but not before pulling out a hair comb and, yes, a bottle of hairspray he had somehow managed to trade for at some point, though it was getting low as well.

Setting these both on a ledge in front of the mirror, opposite the bed, he turned back towards her, appraisingly so, before making a decision to move back towards the bed, eyes steady on hers. "You calling me a dream come true, Sunshine?" There was definitely a smug tone to his voice, before he turned and eased himself down on the bed himself, leaving some distance between them, leaning back a bit and resting himself with one arm to support himself, shirtless body twisted towards her.

Her question surprised him a bit, though it didn't show save for a slight raising of eyebrows. "You never said that you would. I can't say I wasn't hoping...." He let that thought trail off, frowning a little. She seemed a little...off suddenly, and while he had a feeling he knew where this conversation was headed, he still wasn't sure what to think, let alone what to say. All there was, were feelings, ones that he was mostly unused to.

"I just didn't know." He shrugged, and pushed himself back up and off of the bed, needing to do something with his hair now before it dried a mess.

Was that... hairspray?! Fini didn't even want to know. He most likely had traded for it and at this point, she was expecting to see him pull out the full deal. Blow-drier, flat iron, makeup. She wouldn't have been surprised if his arsenal of beauty products was more impressive then her own!

She waited for him to walk over and sit down before formulating an answer. "Maybe not in quite so many words." Oh she heard that smug tone in his voice! Though he may not have been too far off phrasing it the way he had. He was definitely something special she'd not expected to find. And yes, she rather liked the feelings she got around him.

Vashi was right. She was acting fearful. And hesitating on taking a step over that very fine line.

He'd been hoping she'd come back. It wasn't much, but it was good enough. Fini rested an elbow on her knee, placing her chin against her palm as she watched him walk back over to tend to his hair. She was quiet, letting his words sink in.

"Hey Finn?" She finally spoke in a serious tone. Though if he were to look closely at her eyes, he'd see a different emotion lingering there. A much more bright emotion. Fini let the sentence hang in the air for almost too long, before her features shifted and broke out into a grin. "I came back. And I'll probably come back again next time too." She paused. "Maybe." Another pause. "Unless you'd rather have this ray of sunshine hide behind the gloomy clouds." Basically, Finn, if you wanted her, she was yours.

He had a blow dryer. What he didn't have, was power to use it. It was a travesty, honestly, that his hair would never be quite perfect as long as Deus was still in it's black out phase.

He snorted at her response, still looking quite smug for a long moment before he had shrugged and gotten back up to deal with the blonde mess on top of his head. Picking up the comb, he could still see her reflection in the mirror as he began to run it through, making sure everything could dry nice and straight. He could see her chin handing at him, could feel the long silence that stretched out between them and it was...uncomfortable. He still didn't really know what to say. He wasn't about to ask her to be his girlfriend, because to him the notion was just silly, a title made for school aged children to giggle over in the corners. He wasn't sure why he felt that way but...he just always had. He'd call her that, if she wanted, if people asked, but it was a term that grated on him.

Finally she spoke, and he made eye contact with her through the mirror, unable to see the brightness in her eyes, so only able to hold her in the regard that her voice presented herself with. Seriousness. There was no smug smirk on his face, no smile at all as he waited for her to continue, to maybe tell him she thought that this was a bad idea.

And then she grinned, and that small bit of sudden uneasiness melted away, her words warming something inside of him that he had thought couldn't ever be ignited again, though it was so familiar, so reminiscent of another time....

He mentally shook it off, though apparently not fast enough as he immediately realised that for just a moment, a split second, he had let his guard down, so that there was a much warmer glimmer in his own eyes.

He shut that down quickly, mentally cursing himself for not being more careful. As soon as people knew how you felt, they could use it against you. He just had to hope that, as it was only his reflection she could see, and as she was on the other side of the (albeit small) bedroom, she hadn't noticed anything.

He took a long moment of silence himself, finishing up with combing his hair before finally turning and raising a hand up to cough into, as though clearing his throat. "Well I...have to say I have no issues with that at all, darling" He crossed the room towards her, placing his hands on the bed to each side of her and leaning in close, eyes intense, but back to being cold, and guarded. "It's the probably that has me a little.....hesitant, Sunshine." There, see, he could open up a little. "How do I know you won't go hiding behind the gloomy clouds as soon as you realize what a mistake you made, hm?" He asked, shifting his balance so he could lift one hand to stroke against her cheek, knuckles brushing against scars.

Girlfriends, boyfriends, they were terms to her. She'd probably use them if prompted. But that's not what was really important. It was the feelings. She could just as easily claim that Finn was a 'boyfriend' as she could say Nevada was a 'girlfriend'. So she was hesitant, yes. Much like him, if she'd only been able to read his thoughts. But, with Vashi backing her, Fini knew one thing for sure. And that was that... she wanted to be considered Finn's. And consider him hers.

Which was what the kids teens would call boyfriend/girlfriend.

... And seriously, Finn. Your hair looked marvelous no matter what you did to it. Fini was way too amused watching how meticulously he worked at combing it straight. Perhaps that was just part of the joy in having shorter hair. Not that she didn't take care of hers or not brush it. Where he made sure it was nice and straight and probably styled, she just made sure that no tangles wound up in her long strands. And let it dry naturally.

Much like he'd not caught the brightness in her eyes, she'd missed the actual glimmer of emotion in his. But she was taking that step. Letting her own guards down (mostly) and allowing someone closer to her. Hopefully. There was still the chance Finn would laugh at her and throw it all back in her face. His silence made her feel similar to he had just moments before, waiting for him to shoot her down or... walk towards her.

A hand was placed to either side of her and he leaned in with that cold, intense gaze. Fini didn't move an inch, almost holding her breath as he responded. She smiled at him, a rare and genuinely sweet thing, that flickered away almost as quick as it had appeared. Something in her eyes shifted - an realization or understanding maybe? - and she met and held his cold gaze. Whether he'd wanted her to or not, Fini had learned something about him. Something she'd keep to herself before confirming the truth. Slowly, she raised a hand to curl around his, against her cheek.

"You," she put heavy emphasis on the word, using her other hand to trail fingers along his cheek. "Are not a mistake. And I am no push over. I won't go running." Fini paused, fingers moving up to his hair and pinching a small section between her forefinger and thumb. "And sweetheart," she tugged lightly at the section, "you missed a spot~"

It probably wouldn't do much to reassure him, as that was something only time and his own mind could do, but she leaned up a little more to kiss him. A promise of sorts. She pulled back, that little impish grin flashing. "But I should warn you, if you pull out a makeup bag from your closet... we're gonna need to discuss some other things."

The way something in her gaze shifted, with what looked like it might be a dawning of understanding, made Finn want to push back away from her, disgusted with himself for opening up even just that tiny bit, for giving her so much as a hint about his past. That was all long behind him, over with, and not worth dwelling on. He didn't care about what happened back then, because it had been a different life. He didn't back down, or look away, because he didn't want her to think there was more to it then there really was. So he had been rejected once, so what? He had rejected plenty himself before that, and afterwards as well.

And he shouldn't have cared so much for what the future might hold. He had signed up for an early death by becoming a hunter anyways, so really, what could be worse then that? Feelings could change, people could change, and that was allowed. Knowing that he had limited time left should have helped him make this decision, to just live in the moment and see what happened.

The hand over top of his had him hissing out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding, listening to her words while all the while holding on to that steady gaze, unflinching, unwavering. Those words could have meant a lot, they should have meant a lot, and they did give him that small bit of warmth inside again, just that smallest glimmer that made him question whether there might actually be some hope for him after all.....

When she kissed him, he finally gave in, and accepted that this was actually a thing that was going to happen now. They were going to be...a couple. He'd be lying if he said the thought didn't at least excite him a little bit, a fact that he might have made known by the enthusiasm by which he kissed her back, his hand moving out from under hers and to the back of her head before she moved away, breaking it off far too soon to make some quip about make up.

"These good looks are all natural, darling." He managed to say, before pulling her in for another long kiss to make up for the fact she'd broken off the last one for talking. Talking, when they could be doing this instead, though this time when the kiss ended, he needed a moment to catch his breath before murmuring. "Well I guess that's settled then."

He really shouldn't have been so upset with himself for the small slip up. Not that she knew he was upset about it. But there was nothing she was going to do with that information. Except file it away as better understanding of who Finn was. And it wasn't like she had similar things she didn't like letting people know about. At least he didn't have visible marks for everyone to see and question about how she got her scars. Or some of the hardships she went through with people pointing out those 'flaws'. Of course that was before she stopped caring about what anyone thought. And began to like herself just the way she was.

Which begged the question as to why she would sign up for such a job as this, right? But she had a bone or several to pick with the creatures they hunted.

Whatever last remnants of fear she may have had at him turning her down evaporated at the acceptance she gained in that kiss. That was met with a much more enthusiastic response than she'd been anticipating. Fini just smiled against his lips, not even having the chance to laugh at his reply to her quip before he was stealing the kiss he wanted. And who was she to deny it of him? Her hand curled lightly along his arm as his hand moved to the back her head. Damn but he really was a splendid kisser!

By the time he pulled away, she leaned her head along his arm, catching her own breath. "I guess it is." She murmured, raising her head to meet his cold eyes, hers an icy bright blue. "I am yours, sweetheart~"

There was a certain amount of relief that came with knowing that this hadn't just been a one night stand between the two of them, and it actually surprised him that he felt that way, though considering his jealousy the day before, he really shouldn't have been. Her words, as the kiss was broken off and she rested her face against his arm, were perhaps the sweetest thing he'd heard her say, and it earned her a smile from him.

"Mine." He said, voice low with a hint of a possessive edge. Yes, he liked the sound of that. Maybe she would regret this choice someday, but for now he believed what she had said. She wasn't the type to back down and run away. "Good. I never could ever share very well anyways."

Of course, at this point he figured he maybe should say something as well, something equivalent.

"And that would also make me yours, Sunshine, though I don't know if I even need to say it." He grinned at her then, a rather wolfish expression, finally moving so that he could sit on the bed with her, turning so that she still had his arm to cling to and lean against if she wished. His hair was momentarily put to the back of his mind, having been combed out and still requiring a bit more drying out before he could style it anyways.

"So what's for lunch, then?" He asked, having noticed the bag she brought with her and only assuming it was food.

Just hearing that single word said like that made her shiver. She kind of liked being considered 'his'. And she may or may not have caught the hint of possessiveness in his tone, but Fini just brushed it off. She did deal with Vashi all the time, who grumbled about having to 'share'. Really, the both of them! Fini just snorted a laugh out, giving him a quick kiss.

"Why am I not too surprised?" She asked airily, giving him the sweetest most angelic look she could muster at the current moment. "I guess that means I have to tell Jack our not-date definitely is not happening." Not that it had ever been going to happen. Really, she was just setting herself up to get in trouble. Again.

"Not really, sweetheart." Fini murmured, liking that wolfish expression on him. It almost matched her little minx one. She did keep an arm linked through his as he sat down, eyebrows rising at his question before she remembered the bag.

"Oh!" Grabbing it - and the pop-tarts - Fini set the bag on her lap, slipping her arm from his to untie the pack. "I don't know. It's the bag I won." What exactly was in it... they were going to find out! Opening it carefully, the first thing to catch her eye was the canned food. She pulled several out (no wonder the little thing had been heavy!), holding each one in turn out for Finn to examine as well. "Apparently we have our choice of soups, fruit, annnnd carrots." This was one of those times that Fini just didn't even want to know where or how Bix managed to get all this stuff together. Fishing around a little more revealed extra MRE's, magazines, Aspirin (ohthankgod), and two smaller bundles.

"So... we have a feast and magazines." Fini stated, unwrapping the first bundle that looked to be a white cape. With the letters 'ION' on them. Plus a note saying it was hand-sewn by Allan-sama. Inside the bundle though... a box of cigarettes and a runic tablet. Blinking in surprise, she unwrapped the second bundle - another white cape with the letters 'CHAMP' on it - to reveal a second box of cigarettes, a bar of chocolate, and-

Fini snatched the small pendant before it could slide off her lap, all other findings momentarily forgotten. "Oh my god!" She held it up in front of Finn. "Finn! Do you know what this is?!"
