The pony was standing at the dazzling red casino themed booth, inactively and reluctantly doing promotion for the booth. He was not happy with the adorable ribbon Trisha tied on him without his permission. So instead of asking creeple to try the games, the ceffyl dwr just stood there with the jacking cute beholders together as mascots.

He wanted to leave.

Then, the ickycom saved him for the sufferings, he nearly forgot he did sign up for the competition. Without taking down the funny ribbon, he dashed to where the race held.

Because of the ascension of the course, he could clearly see how awful it was gonna be. What is the thing that snapping the spikes, with eyes rolling continuously? (; ̄Д ̄) And - those blushing Bombs - why are they putting minis into a race and why are they blushing? ಠ_ಠ Minipet style? When his eyes continued to follow the course, he was shocked (゜◇゜) POOL! Yes! щ(゜ロ゜щ) That's a lovely big giant deep POOL! (ી(΄◞ิ౪◟ิ‵)ʃ)♥

POOL! POOL! POOL!

Mellow missed his pool, it was mysteriously contaminated with creepy glowy eggs, and he didn't have time to connect anyone to help yet. So when he saw the beautiful water, he couldn't wait for the race to start.

With the horn roar, the obstacle race started. It was all about speed and dexterity, which were merits for the pony boil. He had a feeling that he was gonna enjoy it, so he beamed.

He closed his eyes for a while when everyone jumped off the starting point, enjoying the breezes kissing his face and calming down his excitement over the beautiful pool. He can't lose, pool was waiting.

The acute slope didn't startle Mellow at all, he nimbly jumped off and lissomely hopped between the turns, without slowing his dashing. He felt like a bird flying with the wind. It was so merry. He didn't notice others slowed down and falling behind him, he just enjoyed the breezes as he moved. Even for the burning wall, he just paused for a few seconds before he leaped over it. Ponies are good at leaping, right? His pool is waiting.

The slimy wall did stop him for a bit, as he refused to touch that sticky substances. He just glared at it as others climbed with the same disgusted face and their claws/ fingernails stained with the slimes as they grasped when slid down. Nope. That was not the Mellow's style. He kicked on the wall and made a somersault to evaluate how high he can do. He did it a few times. Um...ಠ_ಠ...........okay. He moved a few steps backward and dash towards the slime wall, kicking it and made a somersault, faced the wall again and let himself push higher. Before he fell again, he made another kick to let himself fly again. For once, he was glad that he weighed that light so he could float longer in the midair before he dropped. Using this method, the wall didn't proved to be a problem. The spiked hurdles? Well, he jumped over them effortless like a piece of cake. Oh there we go, his favourite part, water! He kinda wanted to drop into the water as he touched and jumped between the balls, but he was in a race. Sadly, he farewell-ed the section and moved on.

Mellow was standing on the last red ball, stared at the next section skeptically. That was what bothered him most well before the race started. Is that a tongue?....「(°ヘ°) And he peeked from the side and made out a rolling eye. Nope. Nopenopenopenopenopenopenopenopenopenopenopenopenope. He didn't want to get bitten by "Oh~ It hurts, Mr. Wall!". Nope, sorry, Mr Wall, Mellow won't be your playthings, pick another student.

Mellow had to say as a water pony, he had no discriminations or bad feelings over fire creatures. However, that didn't mean that he would stand there and let the minipets embraced him with flames. He dodged them as if they were the ghouls trying to pull his tail and ears. The about-to-collapse pillars? It wasn't a concern, okay?

When he leaped over the last pillar, he found himself surrounded by water. His most favourite thing in the world. Awww....it was just too good to leave. He was unbreakable in the water, he beelined through and not forgot to say hello to some iFish Bul Sharks, Noise sharks and sharks, sharks and sharks. He had a great time in this section that he didn't realized it was over. Swinging the water away, he landed on the ice which suggested it was almost done. He knew it wasn't good to just run on the ice surface. What's ice? Another form of water. So he just leisurely skated over it. Yuck! He looked at the black oily surface followed, well, it meant he probably needed to get another pair of new boots. Jacking! He love them so much. With a deplorable sigh, he dashed through the ground, R.I.P-ing his lovely boots. He stopped right before the last part, throwing a tiny stone into it.

It sank.

He rolled his eyes and then there was a tiny miniature pony. It floated through the mud slowly and leisurely while watching creeple struggled in mire.

Goal!

Well, Hel was dismissing Shun’s worries about ridiculous in a bad way challenges. This obstacle course looked kick a** and challenging, which was the best, really. Actually, this made her think of all the parkour training she had done with the Grim and she was thinking about how she could put this all to use! She got a little too excited though, and in her eagerness…she fell off the course right off the bat.

Oops.

The reaper ended up scaling her way back up as fast as she could, idly musing how fast it probably would have been if she could have ridden her familiar. Oh well. Now more focused, the ghoul took off down the course with some mishaps here and there, but she cleared the fire and avoided the drop. The next section was much better than the first. Scaling things was another skill Hel was rather adept at, climbing the reaper dorms all the time, though that slime did get her once or twice, but nothing she couldn’t recover from. The spiked hurdles were swept over, and the precariously rigged balls weren’t too much of a hassle either.

The next section caught Hel by surprise…she wasn’t expecting one of the obstacles to be an alumni. Getting swallowed and then spit out wasn’t much appreciated, and Hel was certainly not laughing once she was spit out. No, there were some choice words shouted followed by a bird being thrown around before she continued on. The bombs she bobbed and weaved around, but it was the crumbling pillars she had a real challenge with. She landed on one, and it crumbled underneath her weight. She ended up falling a good distance before she could catch herself, and then start that part over again.

Section four was a breeze. Apparently all that swimming she learned from Mac throwing her in the lake repeatedly paid off. Some poor sap got in her way while maneuvering this section and she pushed that student right into a mine. It was complete with a cackle. The last stretch was more or less the same. If she slipped and slide, it was used to her advantage to get across the finish line quicker…and she didn’t looked too perturbed once she made it across…even if she was covered in mud from the neck down.

Her fists were thrown into the air in celebration, getting mud on those who were unfortunate enough to be nearby.

Sheelah wasn't sure what to think of this. She didn't like the looks of this awful obstacle race at all . What had she gotten herself into? "Maybe it isn't this bad" she said hopeful to herself. She started to run while hoping to make it to the finishline okay.

But it doesn't start out okay at all because she trips and falls as soon as she started and had to slowly get back on her feet again, At least she didn't fall all the way down. She shakily continues running.

The next part went a bit better. She did loose some speed because of small silly things but she didn't fall anymore. "Now I'm doing better," She didn't really like the climbing but since it was going good she was fine with it.

She simply rushed through the third part without looking back so she didn't see what was going on there but she didn't care. It was truly going great now. What could go wrong. She was very fast of course being a WereCheetah.

Okay now she had to swim something she didn't like to do at all. She was rather slow with it and bumped into a few things. She was very happy when she could finally leave the water. Soaked she continued to run.

Now the last part which she aldo didn't like but luckily no more swimming. First ice slippery ice and after that oil. She was doing fine until another student made her fall again on accident. Sheelah had to get back up again which wasn't easy in the oil. It was almost to slippery.

She didn't know how she got into the mud and to the finish line but she did! She made it! She got past the finish line at she was okay. Happily Sheelah danced in the mud.

Sheelah hoped to never have to run such a race ever again.

Rosy was excited for the start of the House Cup events. She really wanted to do a good job and show how well ghosts could do. Her excitement soon turned to frustration however as she completely missed her mark and stumbled, barely saving herself from completely falling on her face at the start of the run. Shaking her head, she steeled herself and continued on.

However, she must have still been a bit shaken from her near fall, because she faltered again on the second part of the course, once again barely catching herself from falling off the track entirely. Taking a second to gather herself and collect her wits, she got up and started off again.

By the third stretch of the course she actually was getting a feel for the obstacles, and she didn’t worry so much about it. However another student pushed her into the spikey pit that was Steve and she tumbled around for a few minutes before she could regain her bearings.

At the pool, she managed to make it across without completely getting blown up by mines. But she did get tangled in nets a few times, and was almost nibbled on by a few of the larger aquatic minipets. Getting out of the water, she let it slide off of her and continued on.

The home stretch of the course she found to be quite the annoyance, but she managed to persevere and push through, even as she got bogged down into the mud. But she kept on, only stopping once she crossed the finish line.

Well it could have been worse? At least she finished!

So the first challenge was a race. This was something Shun could deal with well enough, he supposed. He loosened up his limbs a bit, waiting for the thing to begin. Once the go was signaled, he began running downhill, keeping his gaze on the terrain. The course had a few sharp turns that he blazed through with agility. Someone from his right looked like they were about to ram into him, but he managed to deftly avoid getting knocked off course. A flame wall burst up ahead and such he launched himself through it, bringing his arms up to shield his head as he did so.

He paused for just a moment as he came upon the climbing wall. It was oozing with slime that was to make things more difficult for the racers, no doubt.

"Che," he scoffed before beginning to ascended swiftly. It didn't really slow him down much. The spiked hurdles and the big red weird floating balls in water weren't much of a hindrance either. He felt that he could have done a little better, but for now it was sufficient.

Shun wasn't entirely certain what to make of the next obstacle. He barely managed to avoid getting snatched up by the bewildering alumni, and also managed to not get blown up by any of the bombs. Letting out a breath, he jumped the falling pillars, and continued on his way. He was making good time.

"Oh ********. Really?" Shun muttered as he stared at the water. Well, he had a race to finish. He supposed that he didn't do quite as poorly as he could have. Though, he was still floundering and nearly drowned on a couple of occasions. Perhaps it was determination that allowed him to get clear the mess.

He had to take a moment to catch his breath once he got out of the water, spitting it out some as well. Ahead was the finish line. Narrowing his eye, he blazed ahead skillfully and swiftly, managing to keep sure footing on both the ice and oil. Even the sinking ground did little to hinder his progress as he crossed the finish line.

Lizzy was pretty confident of her ability to go fast, but she did not have that same confidence when it came to her stamina... And the obstacle course looked like it went on forever. However, there was no time to hesitate, seeing how everyone else seemed to be in a very competitive mode; she would have to buck up quickly, or risk dishonoring her family.

And by family, she really meant "Team Demon".

Sprinting from the get-go, she had wanted to get a head start, but quickly realized that it was a bad idea for her to gash the way she did; not only was she going downhill, but there were really sharp corners to take. Unprepared for the first turn, she almost ran out of the track, and managed to stop only because she forced herself to stop, causing her to fall flat on her face.

By the time she was up and running again, she had fallen behind. It was a very dishonoring moment. Dishonor on her. Dishonor on her cow minipet. At least avoiding the wall of fire and sudden drop were easy; she was so behind that she knew what to do after watching the students ahead of her.

Climbing was no problem for her, but as she was getting into the zone and jumping over the spiked hurdles, she felt someone shove her from behind, causing her to fall. Again. Thankfully, she didn't hurt herself on the spikes, but it did cause her to fall back even more. Maybe that motivated her to not fall into the water while jumping from ball to ball... That, and because she had never gotten along with bodies of water.

As she got back into the groove, she once again felt someone shove her from behind, causing her to trip right into... A mouth?! She squeaked, eyes squeezed shut as she felt herself being spat out into the air, landing painfully on the other side.

... At least she got through.

After carefully navigating her way past the bombs, she found herself staring at her worst enemy - water. She hesitated by the edge, wondering if dishonor was such a bad idea after all... And then someone shoved her again, sending her falling straight into the water. Face first. Too bad nobody could taste the salt from her tears in that huge body of water.

She was more than happy to survive the water, even if she probably swam at snail speed - if the flailing movements she made in the water could be called "swimming".

With the finish line in sight, she did not want to be sabotaged again, and was extra cautious and wary of the people around her... Especially since the first obstacle was ice. She got along with ice as well as she got along with water - which is not at all. She managed to not fall on the ice, but once she set foot on the oil slick, she fell, getting her skirt covered in oil. As if that wasn't bad enough, having to wade through the mud caused her to lose one of her shoes.

But she had finished the race. She was dirty, beaten up, and exhausted, but she had finished. She had restored her honor.

To say that Thanatos did not care was an understatement. He really, really did not care about the House Cup. Or "Team Reapers". He didn't even turn up for the meeting, as mandatory as it was; of course, he would have found a way to get out of the House Cup too, if Biskoto hadn't bugged him about joining... He could be competitive if he wanted to, but only if he wanted to.

While everyone seemed to be in a hurry, he was a lot more relaxed, starting off with a slow jog. The sharp corners and steep downhill slope did not phase him, although he did almost fall off the course and walk right into the wall of fire. Due to him not paying attention.

The next section of the obstacle course looked easy enough, until he realized that there was slime all over the climbing wall, and there was nothing much for him to hold onto... Maybe falling off the course would be less troublesome than this, but Biskoto did make him promise to finish the race.

Was it just him or was his familiar getting a lot bossier?

After getting through the slime climbing wall, spiked hurdles, and... Whatever that was, he got to a spiky pit that was actually not a pit at all. Of course, he did not appreciate being in someone's mouth and then being spat out, but at least everyone else was getting the same treatment. The bombs were tricky, and as he avoided one, he failed to notice the one behind him, and-

Boom!

He got out of the explosion mostly intact, and made him way across the crumbling pillars, diving straight into the body of water; it cleaned all the slime and dirt off him... Only for him to get dirty again in the next section. By this time though, he just wanted to get it over and done with, and sped through the ice, oil slick, and mud.

Tanita stood at the starting line, looking determined and ready. When the START was called, she began to run, watching as best she could for other students, and the obstacles ahead. She pumped her legs, proud of herself for being able to run all right, given how often she preferred to fly, trying to focus on the goal ahead. As she made it around one of the hairpin turns on the down hill, another student elbowed her, really blasted hard, as they passed. She couldn't see who it was, or even if they did it on purpose... Largely because she slammed into the ground face first. She snarled and pulled herself up. It took a good moment to make sure everything was fine, but after verifying she had no worse then skinned knees, she moved onwards, trying to make up for this incident. When she got to the Wall of Flame, she couldn't help laugh a little. Sure, she wasn't built to be ENGULFED, but she did like fire, and wasn't scared of it. She launched through it, and, somehow, didn't land in the large pit on the other side. She'd made it to section 2.

That wall. She fought to dig her claws into the wall, despite the nasty green slime and the honest lack of spots to really do so. She even succeeded, making it up the wall, and she launched herself off, landing hard but not badly... After all, hard landings were natural to a flyer. She was VERY careful not to use her wings, though. She began to run again, and managed to leap over each of the hurdles with no issues greater then a bit of the cloth part of her skirt catching and tearing. Oh well, she'd ask some one to fix it for her later, if it was bad enough. But then she got to the red balls. Over water. Her nemesis, WATER. Oh gods. She shuddered and made the first leap. She even succeeded at that one, and the second too, though getting across these balls was hard. However, when she landed on the third, she went down again... a lot harder, and barely was able to cling on to it. Her ankle was throbbing in pain, and she was trying not to scream at the idea of landing in the water. She lost time, more of it then she might realize, panicked as she was. Finally, finally, she managed to calm enough to GET up and make her way across and leap to the next piece... Though her ankle hurt like anything!

Unfortunately for her, Steve was next. She didn't know Steve, she'd never been introduced to him, and she thought it VERY impolite of him to almost swallow her without even introducing himself! She thought, maybe, the swallowing was an accident, as he managed to stop himself... but it was very uncomfortable, she was covered in SteveSpit, and she lost another few minutes before he managed to spit her out, as he let a few others go first! Once back on the course, shuddering at the feeling of Spit, she ran on, managing to mostly avoid the bombs... A few came close enough that the spit dried, which honestly she found even MORE gross, but none of them boomed on her. The pillars... well crumbly and rocky as they were, they didn't prove too much a challenge. But she'd not forget that STEVE. He made her lose time...

She nearly lost her nerve at the sight of the water section. She really didn't know how to swim, but she was going to give it her best shot. After a moment, she dove in and tried to stay near the surface. She suddenly saw a fast moving mini pet, and had a brilliant idea... She grabbed hold and did her best to get it to tow her part way. It even almost worked, she got about 2/3's of the way across, before another student must have decided this was cheating(never mind she'd never swum before in her life!), because someone grabbed her and yanked her so that she lost her grip on the slippery minipet. Almost giving in to the urge to swearing, but only stopping because WATER OH JACK WATER, she floundered her way across the rest of the swimming section. At least she didn't drown or fall too much more behind, but that had lost her enough to frustrate her and convince her, once again, that swimming was evil! She dragged herself onto the next section of the course, looking soaked, raggedy, and thoroughly pissed off. At least she was no longer covered in SteveSpit, though.

The feeling of the ice under her sopping foot had her shriek in startlement... but it had the bonus of making her suddenly start running even harder, wanting off that freezing, painful sensation it was causing her! She moved hard, slipping and sliding some, occasionally landing on a knee and scraping it, but managed to get to the... oh blast it the Oil. Her urge to breath fire on it was only held back by the sight of the other students. She didn't want to burn THEM up, too, and burning oil wasn't a joke. She, again, slid and skidded across this section, occasionally perhaps brushing against an equally unfortunate student in the process. She planned to take a nice long shower after this. Long. Very. This was enough to almost make her appreciate the previous, hated, swimming. When she slid off that and into the muddy mess, she just glared and slogged her way through, her hair sticking up in points, her eyes narrowed with both determination and furious irritation at getting covered in this. When she hit the finish line, she stormed off to one side, and waited for everyone to finish, and the next announcement. But UGH. Muddy and oily was a disgusting sensation!

Victoria was excited. This made her feel like part of something. Like she was back at the orphanage, and the Matron would organize little competitions between the ghouls, and they would laugh and have fun all day, taking a break from doing chores and other not-as-engaging activities... It was nice to see everyone having fun, and generally working together to get things done. It made her feel a little homesick, but at the same time, she was glad to be in school.

Although it felt... Abnormal for her feet to be touching the ground instead of in the air, there was some sort of a rule in place that meant she couldn't just hover over things. Since she wanted to do all her ghost upperclassmen proud, she was off like a bullet once the race started.

Downhill slope, sharp corners, wall of fire, sudden steep drop? No problem.

Slimy climbing wall, spiky hurdles, unstable balls over a body of water? No big deal.

Pit that is not a pit, over-affectionate exploding minipets? Just move faster than they can, and avoid both!

Swimming?

... Maybe spending time with Amphi and her wonderful bosom helped, as she managed to swim to the other side quickly, and without incident.

Moving over slippery ice and an oil slick, and going through mud? What a dress-ruining activity, but nothing she couldn't do once she put her mind on it!

Once she had finished the obstacle course, she heaved a sigh of relief, and started to hover again, waiting for everyone else to arrive; it was still the best to be in the air, with her feet off the ground.

In an effort to show as much House spirit as possible, the witch cheered her way to the starting line. Since a number of Reapers before her had seemed to do fairly well she felt satisfied in her enthusiasm and turned a determined face toward the obstacle course. But up close it looked really... Long and scary and full of crazy stuff. Goodness, the witch might have bargained rather poorly on this whole endeavor...
With a small cry she realizes the race has begun and rushed forward, stumbling a bit as she hurried down along the path. The wall of fire was noted simply by the smell of singed clothing as the witch moved on, glad she had changed into the cute track jacket provided to her with her name on the back.
The slime wall, however, is a piece of cake. Not wanting to touch the goo, Belladonna hustled her way up the wall and vaulted off the side to land in a perfect roll. Back on her feet she sailed across the hurdles and sang a fun song about a hop, skip and a jump as she pranced across the red balls. This was fun!

For all about two seconds until the witch stumbled and plummeted into Steve's waiting mouth. He must have enjoyed the taste for she flailed around for quite a while before she was spit out and straight under a bomb. Barely missing it, she hustled her way along only to splash into the water. Quite quickly Belladonna is disoriented, half by the fish that do their best to push her off course and the rest by the nets that try to drag her away. A kind alumni takes pity on her and shoves her in the right direction and though she tries to call out a 'thank you', the alumni is instead gifted with a gurgling witch.
With no time to dry herself off (her cute jacket nuuuuuu), the witch stumbles forward and slides across the ice only to fall into the oil. A shriek leaves her and she flails to be free, falling into the mud next and loathing how short she is. Practically swimming the last of the way, Belladonna emerges panting and frustrated, fists clenched as she stomped off the course.
"Happy House Cup." She mumbled through gritted teeth, throwing on a fierce smile before she left to clean up.

Serafina stood herself at the top of the Obstacle Course.

This didn't look ... uh ...

What was she doing here?

Ghost pride. Right. Libetas in Obitum. She could do this and make her fellow ghosts proud of one of their ... midyearsmen. Was that what it was? To be honest, she wasn't entirely sure, but she knew the incline in front of her was really steep and--

--people were watching this was not the time to freeze up!

The year two ghoul sucked in her nervousness and, well, hit the ground running. Determined to show just how awesome she actually was at this speed thing, the burst of confidence she got from people actually watching her and the determination to make sure people would later laud her was what caused her to let her legs carry her through the section of the course like a ... well, like a speed demon or something. The turns were unforgiving, but Serafina didn't really need forgiveness, able to route herself as needed to get herself down to the wall of fire.

Wall of ... fire.

Serafina managed to fly by the wall of fire, latching herself onto the climbing wall of the next obstacle. This course was insane! But, perhaps, her adrenaline was even more insane. Undeterred by the fact that she had to actually climb and run across more spiky, unforgiving obstacles, Serafina was going faster than ever. She may have knocked over a few other types in the process, flying by everyone else in her attempt to get through this area before the adrenaline faded off.

Everyone was watching her and she could hear the cheers for ghosts! At least, that was what she was thinking she was hearing, especially as she bounced across the three red balls--seriously, who made these things?!--with relative ease, making it across the three of them without so much as a slip down into the undoubtedly cold water down below.

She came skidding to a stop, slowing down her pace a bit, when she saw what looked to be a spike pit in front of her. Closer observation let her know what was really there, though...

Steve?

Serafina should have known. She winced when another hapless student was snapped up and spat out, and quickly decided she did not want to join them. With some careful maneuvering, she skidded around the edge of the gaping mouth and ran for her life around the other side. It took some careful dugging and probably careful shoving other people in the way to get around the next obstacles, ducking and sliding around and running by some overly friendly bombs that seemed to want to get in her face.

She wasn't interested in making their company.

After carefully hopping onto one pillar to another to another, Serafina dived into the water. She was beginning to feel some of the adrenaline leaking out of her body, but she was still determined to make it through. Luckily for her, as a ghost, she didn't need to worry about this pesky breathing thing, and quickly moved to swim forward, one arm in front of the other pushing herself to the end.

She wasn't exactly a champion swimmer, though, so Serafina was having a few run ins of a type she wasn't exactly having previously. That included a run in with a student that didn't go well from her. A strained, "Augh!" made it out of her lips as she was pushed aside and off-course by a student that was clearly at home in the water. Irritation filled her body--how dare they embarrass her in front of all these people!--and she immediately pushed after them, managing to get on track and, thankfully, out of the water.

Just to slide.

"AH!"

Serafina lost her balance, falling onto her behind and sliding down the ice. While she managed to slide on course, it was barely, and not without leaving her with a rather nasty rash. Serafina winced at it once she managed to get herself to stop sliding, but knew this wasn't the time to be licking her wounds. That wouldn't look good.

Not that anyone looked good after any of this, really, especially now that they were tromping around in oil that leaked into mud and it felt like she was being encased in it why was the mud getting deeper and deeper.

Thankfully, though her instinct was to gasp for air and claw at the mud, Serafina was able to remind herself that she didn't really need to worry about that and clawed her way through the end.

Success!

That ... wasn't so bad. She had done her dorm good! Serafina beamed and marched off, determined to ... clean some of this muck off...

Running. Really. Running. Running

Running was the worst idea the Colossus had ever heard of. Colossus didn't run! They lumbered. They made scary faces and tried to step on you if you were pissing them off.

Running.

Sura made a low rumble as she began to move - slow but steady, at least - across the very bizarre challenge. The first area was easy due to her weight, as she just sat down at the top of the incline and slid down slowly, even able to take the time to lean into turns like in a racing game.

Rather fun, actually.

Climbing, however, was not. Sura was not a good climber to begin with, so it was something best watch others do. Still, it was fun enough..until someone used her face as a stepping block. Seriously? She rumbled disapprovingly and grabbed their foot to yank them back down before resuming her climbing unhappily.

Climbing was not fun.

Bombs and being a slow student didn't really work out for her, if she was completely honest. One of them tapped her and while heavy in body, that made it even LESS fun when she nearly got blown off the course to climb back up. So she just rumbled angrily at them as she made her awkward shuffle away.

Nobody is sure how Sura, who can't swim, got through the swimming portion of this trial.

But it was worse to come with that heavy body - cracking ice under her feet and nearly sinking into the mud.

It was really hilarious to watch her climb out when she was done.

This looked thrilling, stretching at the start Spinar watched as others raced on before him. This was going to take some luck, he sighed knowing his own hadn't been the best lately. He was still almost certain all his luck had rubbed off on Rosy since she had hung around him so much lately, that and she just kept getting so damn lucky for a ghost.

It was insane..

The start of the course he breezed through, literally, Spinar was moving so fast down the steep incline he couldn't feel his cheeks. Dashing around the sharp turns and right towards the wall of fire at the end of the section. When approaching the sudden fall he seen a few students dive down the frost demon took a chance and pushed a body in front of him, using it as leverage to leap off of and clear section. Easy as eye-scream.

What wasn't however was his start at the second part of the course. Climbing the wall of seeping slime hadn't been the cake walk he expected. He had managed to slip and slide right down off the wall. Though through persistence he managed to push on and make it over the disgusting wall and right over each spiked hurdle on the way. Keeping a grin in place Spinar told himself it was nearly half over now, pushing himself on towards the third section of the course.

Heading into the third section was a mind f-, it was tricky, he thought for sure that it was a spikey pit though once he seen a few students snapped up before him he knew better. There was no damn way he was getting spat out like that, concentrating he gave it his all to speed past the pit, for once managing to actually hurl over it and clear that part of the section. What he didn't expect was the over-sized bomb that greeted him on the other side. BOOOOM! Spinar flew back and landed on his bottom, spitting out a puff of smoke. The fall had him catching his breath for a moment but soon he was up and jumping the pillars at the end of the section, pushing a few of the other students out of his way along the way.

Closing in on the fourth section Spinar skidded to a halt. Swimming. He loathed swimming. On a frown he jumped into the water, following suit of the other students. Only in following one of the others he managed to get tangled up in the same net with the other student, both of them nearly drowning. The other in the net with him was now trashing wildly, the over grown monsters claws digging into Spinar's body and causing him to bleed out. It was a fairly bad incident, especially when he kicked the other boil right in his sweet spot for being a numskull. Freeing himself he broke the surface for a gasping breath, hands punching at any overgrown mini that came his way, temper flaring due to the previous incident, though he miraculously manged to get past the four section without too much harm to his person. Just a few flesh wounds from those damn claws, ones of which he was hissing at as he pressed on to the last section.

Spinar paused a moment to catch his breath, watching others race by as if they had simply flown over the last few obstacles. Sludgesticks. He wasn't fairing to well this competition, the only thing he could hope for now is that his friends had done worse. Then at least he could brag about not doing as bad. That in mind he smirked wide and pushed on tackling the last part of the course. All was well till he hit the last neck-deep pit of mud, that's when trouble hit. He was pretty much freezing the mud around his body on accident which made it twice as hard to get through. After yet another incident where he nearly drown in the mud Spinar finally passed the finish line, tired and out of breath not to mention filthy. The final stretch proves to be a slippery situation when first ice awaits the students, followed by a large slick of oil! With the finish line nearly within reach, the ground begins to sink underfoot and becomes a difficult slog, as the finish line sits on a neck-deep pit of mud!
