There was a brown and white fox lurking around the pond, its eye shone at the goldfishes and its paws were stirring the water, tail wagging happily. Then, she said a fish with a different look popped out but she failed to catch it.
Saddest fox it was.

Eira eventually found her way to another booth.... but a much colder one. It was covered in snow.... but these was also a lot of fish around. As a minipet fan she couldn't help but start to look around.

She had given one last look to the pond, intending to head off and enjoy the other booths. However, she noticed something in the murky depths. A flash of colour unlike the others. Placing her fish down, she stepped close to have a look and reached a hand out to claim the fish. A loud crack had her startled and she looked up with wide eyes for a brief second before the ice beneath her feet gave way and she plunged into the pond.
Pulling herself out, she picked up the pom that had decided to come home with her and trudged away, cursing under her breath.

Eira rubbing her hand together, got closer to a big crack in the ice. There were a ton of swimming minis. Now these would not normally hold her attention.... but deep in there she thought she saw a ghost. A glimmer shined in her eyes as she tried to coax the little guy out. Reaching her hand in and grabbing the first tail she felt, she came out with a candy corn pom. Well it was definitly cute, but she would keep trying for the ghostie for sure. <33 sn: YashaAlchemist

Game 1:
The drooped fox turned its target to the adorable goldfishes, she asked for a shrimp. Obviosuly as a fox, it didn't know how to place a bait....

Game 2: It found another place with fishies when the fox as about to cry. It was beneath the fragile ice. The little fox tiptoed over the ice but unfortunately it broke and there was a shivering wet fox. Quote: 88 - 99 - You make it to the middle of the pond and the pom is just withing reach. However, just as you make a grab for it, the ice crumbles beneath you and you plunge into the frigid water.

Having completed the running course, Poke had hoped down and decided to go look around the booths that were set up. It didn't take long for her to find a rather cold looking booth, complete with a pond that housed some interesting looking minis. Her eyes sparkled at the pom fish swimming around under the ice.
Now, the question was, how could she get some...
Walking past the front, trying not to laugh at the professor who manned it (wasn't he a mini last time?), she stepped towards the edge. Among the mass of fish there were some interesting colored ones that seemed to come to the surface every so often. Maybe if she was patient...
The dragon bent down, claws at the ready to snatch one up. But her attempt proved futile as her claws grasped at nothing but water.

If her reflexes wouldn't do the trick, perhaps the old fashioned way would? Grabbing a fishing rod, Poke managed to thread a worm onto it, then dropped the end into the pond.
Now it was just a waiting game...

It didn't take long before the line began to pull, and stepping back she began to pull at the rod, trying to reel the pom fish in.

For a minipet, the fish was proving to be quite a formidable opponent, but with a mighty tug, the dragon yanked the fish pom right out of the water. She was quick to grab onto the fish before it could wriggle back.
"Aren't you a cute pile of fluff?" She said to the struggling mini. It didn't like being held, but that was understandable. "Stop wriggling! I'm not about to eat you..." She began scratching the poms stomach, and smiled when it began to purr.

Edel had been wandering from booth to booth for a while, feeling slightly hesitant to commit her full attention to any of the other dorm booths just yet. The frozen booth and pond however, had caught her attention, and the frost demon drew in towards it. Under the frozen surface of the pond, the ghoul could see a few fish swimming about quite happily.
There was an odd one that lingered near the surface, but it swam away quickly as she reached her hand out towards it.

Just further ahead, Edel spotted a small school of fish congregating near the surface. The ghoul took a few measured steps towards it, not wanting to scare them away, however in the process of doing so, the ice began to crack underneath her feet. While she certainly did not mind being plunged into the cold water, it would certainly scare the fish away anyway. For now she would retreat and find a different way to approach them.

Looking back onto the pond, the dragon ghoul could see the middle of it was glowing softly, perhaps there were rare poms there? Cautiously she began to edge onto the ice, seeing one of them nearby.
She then pulled back, the ice beneath her starting to crack. She wasn't sure if she wanted to test just how long she could last in such frigid water....

It was only after retreating back to the booth when the frost demon realised that there were a few fishing rods and bait at her disposal. Edel selected a rod and got on to tying the piece of shrimp onto the end of the line. The ghoul let it dangle for a moment and then decided she was good to go.
