Shortly after beginning the climb to the other side of the ravine, the furby stops and chirps wildly. When he goes over to see what's wrong, Feral Storm finds a special plant known to help ease the pain one may feel. He decides to take a bite to help with the attack he recently incurred. As he continued to climb, Feral Storm misplaced his hoof and fell slightly back down the hill. He slammed his hoof against the ground in anger. Slipping back down the path had made Feral Storm more determined than ever to climb up to the top. He pushed and pushed and pushed himself until he came upon an area that was a little bit more flat. As he stood there catching his breath, he found a twig with grass wrapped around it. Something like this would require patience. Feral Storm could see the end of the climb from where he stood. He decided it would be easy to push the rest of the way. Looking for a place to finish his climb from, Feral Storm found a dead rat.it looked as though it had been hunted. Once Feral Storm and the furby made it to the other side, they started heading through brush covered area of the Swamp, only to come upon a wild mother boar after accidentally stepping in her makeshift home. It attacked him without warning and nearly got the jump on him. Feral storm struck at the boar one last time, knocking it unconscious. He stood there for a moment, "I'm sorry, I had no other choice."the furby nuzzled itself against Feral Storm's leg. He looked down and nodded at it before continuing onwards. Feral Storm heads into the territory of Ghost Thistle, his little friend following close behind. After taking a few steps in, Storm catches sight of suspicious figures in the distance. Believing it to be somehow involved with everything going on, he runs after them. Once he comes upon the figures, he slows down and walks by the kin there as they watch him. Feral Storm passes by the group of strangers and soon comes upon a newborn foal. It seemed to have been waiting for him, the way it got up and started moving once he arrived. At one point, the foal that was leading him further in gets dragged down underneath the ground. It calls out to him, sharing a clue with Feral Storm before disappearing. Feeling lost, Feral Storm moves about in a circle, trying to figure out his next move, when he hears a group of kin talking to each other in the distance. While he can only pick up a couple words, they are extremely helpful in figuring out what happened. After being lost for a long while, Feral Storm is just about ready to give up when he sees something float ever so playfully from up above. It's a white crane's feather. It suddenly takes on a life of its own as it gains a faint glow and gets blown about by the wind, leading Storm closer to his destination. Even after losing sight of the seemingly magical feather, Feral Storm continues on until he comes face to face with a pair of glowing eyes. In a moment, the eyes turn and head off in another direction before disappearing entirely. Storm tries to catch up, but can't seem to find them or their owner anywhere. Continuing on in the direction the glowing eyes had led him, Feral Storm comes upon a familiar scene. A youngling is sitting before him. It looks just like the previous one. Believing this one to be a twin of the other, he follows it until it too suffers the same fate and giving Storm another clue.
