The cultist attacks him, but he manages to kick him in return. He takes more damage then they do, as he's once again used his injured leg. Though he knows now he can do it. He just needs to take them down before they take him down. That's all that's left to do.

He manages to break the kin's skin, and the cultist begins bleeding profusely. This is a good sign. He can go this. Just a few more attacks, a few more and can win. He prepares to kick the cultist again.

A few more hits should do it. He's almost there, he can see the other kin is having even more trouble standing them he is. Another good hit, one more kick... he shifts, trying to get a better angle for his next kick.

The cultist dies, leaving behind the final clue...
The buck suddenly feels all the pieces fall into place, the clues. The rabbit, dragged from the original clearing, the teeth and scales, the long scaly tail. It's caiman! His familiar, his Moon Phase. Trying to find him, to bring him a present... the buck feels his knees falter, and he awakens.

 Shadowed Moon opens his eyes, blinking. The light of the day filters through the trees, exposing his seemingly grinning caiman inches from his face. The familiars jaw covered in blood, the buck glances down. It seems hi caiman has brought him a present. Not only that, he's smeared it's blood all other the bucks light fur. Something Moon Phase seems very proud over. Shadowed Moon? Not so happy with.
With Moon Phase rubbing against his neck happily the buck can only really do one thing. He rubs the caiman's neck with his leg, and pushes the rabbit a bit farther way. It's starting to smell. The caiman doesn't seem to notice, just being happy his master is pleased with the gift. It rolls over suddenly, and Shadowed Moon sighs, smiling. "Alright, alright. Just a few. Then we're going to bathe." The buck says, giving the caiman a few choice belly rubs before heading over to the nearest body of water, followed by his happy caiman as it drags it's gift along with them.
