Shiloh hadn’t paying attention to Finn or Ian, instead settling into a defensive stance as he watched Fini, waiting for retaliation. But sudden shouting made him whip around, just in time to see Ian covered in mud, and trying to crawl over the perimeter of their arena. Shiloh tried to cover his mouth, to stifle what was coming, and he tried really hard, but seeing Finn covered in splash damage, and both of their unimpressed expressions, he doubled over in laughter.

“I don’t,” he wheezed out between peals of laughter, “Think you’re allowed out here!”

He pulled Haruka back as best he could when Fini stumbled, but the slippery ground made it difficult to get leverage, making the whole process very slow.

"C'mon," he called out to her with a grin, "We better finish this before Ian finishes us."

Fini still slipped a bit and had mud splatters all over, including a well aimed shot that smacked her head. Not quite as commical as Ian's face though! And she could practically feel the stare Finn directed her way. And she winced at his words.

"Okay, I owe you." More than that, really.

Erm, but battle. Right. She had to finish this first. "No kidding!" Fini grinned, finding some solid ground. She wasted no time in taking full advantage of this, twisting and darting at Shiloh with both sais swords crossed which she slashed in unison at him when close enough.

Again with the side thing! Ooooh there was going to be such a lovely bruise there! She was definitely losing energy here. What with the rain and mud and Haruka's teeth?! Fini stayed in close range, not bothering to try and dodge again. She just hit. They had to finish this before Ian killed them both.

It took her a few extra beats to realize that, Shiloh was down for good. Sort of. She'd won. And then she couldn't help but grin and laugh, holding out a hand to help him up. "That was an excellent match! We should definitely do this again." Fini paused. "Y'know, when our spectators aren't trying to come after us." She teased, glancing towards said spectators.

"I promise to do well in my next match. If not... eh. Maybe we'll go get drinks for an awesome match?" She liked him. He was sweet and funny! And oh hey, she was a little dizzy and maybe she should take a few minutes to sit down before her next match would start.

"And I still plan on getting you back for the mud balls!" She smirked at Shiloh, wincing as her side hurt and she realized she had to apologize to Finn. Again.

Finn continued to watch, interested in the outcome but back to wondering why this day had to exist. He still wanted Fini to win, despite the mud splatter, despite earlier issues, though he was at this point at a complete loss for what to do with her. Did they continue the game, when now feelings of jealousy consistently strived to get in the way? She had proven today to be more puzzling then he had first given her credit for, and he couldn't help but wonder how hard she had actually been playing him this entire time, when he had considered himself to be the one in control.

Lips were pursed, his smile having disappeared for a time. He had stepped closer to the battle ring, gloved hands reaching out to grasp at the rope, cold eyes intent.

He winced a little when she continued to get hit, sure that it was just a matter of time before she went down.

And then she further surprised him with a very impressive comeback, her attacks leaving Shiloh in the mud. But she looked....off. Tired. Finn eyed the mud with open disdain, and then glanced towards Ian.

Cuddle lessons. And now slave for half a day. Maybe this day wasn't such a write off after all.

Maybe he could do something to change the other problems as well.

Lifting the rope to duck below, he carefully picked his way across the muddy training field towards the two battlers, offering Shiloh a smile coupled with his usual cold gaze, before turning his attention towards Fini, an arm snaking around her waist (mud and all, while he tried to remind himself that it could be worse. Mud at least washed off easier then blue goo), to pull her towards him.

"Congratulations, Sunshine. You won me a temporary slave, which I guess means I can almost forgive you for earlier." He then turned himself towards her, hand moving up between her shoulder blades, while his other reached out to tilt her chin up.

And then he kissed her. And it was not just a teasing brush of lips against her cheek. This was full on, long, but surprisingly gentle, as though he was holding back just slightly. "And I think that will just about cover you for the mud." He said, once he'd pulled back enough to speak again, his voice low, and a smirk plastered across his face.

Ian was still attempting to get to the two suspects, his face coated in mud which dripped down his cheeks in slimy streaks. He managed to stumble and slide his way across the uneven, slippery ground to where Shiloh still stood, dirty and unkempt.

"You - where's Fini?" Ian said, glancing around with a mutinous look on his face -

- just in time to see Finn putting on a show for them. Ian stared for a moment, rolled his eyes, and then waved a hand dismissively, turning back to Shiloh with a raised eyebrow.

"You do realize you just threw me to the wolf, Shyduck."

He stooped down, slid his hand into the mud, stood up with a handful -

- and promptly whipped around and threw the glob of mud at the back of Fini's head.

"HAH."

She was glad that Shiloh seemed alright. Or just as weary as she was feeling. But standing on his two feet and laughing. Good sign! "I look forward to it, then!" She gave his hand a quick squeeze before letting it go.

And then there was Finn slinging an arm about her and pulling her closer. She offered him a tired smile, and visibly winced because yep. He'd been hit with mud. "I'm sorry!" She managed to get out as he congratulated her, body leaning a little more into him. "For the... mud... " She mumbled as his hold shifted. A hand moved up her back and the other tilted her chin up. Her eyes widened in slight surprise for a brief second. And then he was kissing her.

He was actually kissing her!

Oh yes she had thought about kissing the man. Several times. Yet she'd held back. Teased him. As if unsure of what he wanted. She apparently had her answer. And Fini didn't hold back much. She gave as good as she was given. When he pulled back and spoke, she hung her head in defeat there. "I guess I owe you big, huh?" She said quietly with a smile, tilting her head up enough to look at him. "Maybe we'll have that real date." She added with a mischievous little smile. Right before her head bumped against him and-

"IAN! You are so dead, you better run fast, pretty boy!"

Hopefully Finn still had a good hold of her. Because otherwise Ian you were going down.
