Sam gave her one of his trademark foxlike grins. "Hey, it's all right, no harm done. Besides, compared to some of the stories I've heard, your reaction was actually fairly mild," he assured her. "Just try to keep in mind that there are good demons and bad demons, same as humans... we good demons just happen to be a lot rarer than the bad ones." He gave her a bold, flirtatious wink. "Thanks for the treats, beautiful!" With that, he vanished in another flurry of snow, this time leaving a whole bouquet of ice hydrangeas behind.
Kenji yipped happily, wagging his tail; apparently arctic foxes had a soft spot for the demon, too.

Kenji just yipped happily, apparently not understanding a word Kimera was saying as he started licking her face vigorously.
Eventually the store was closed and Kimera had to head home; however, unbeknownst to her, she had a pair of thugs stalking her, their eyes roving her body.

Suddenly a strange screaming noise came from behind the two thugs, causing them to freeze in their tracks... quite literally, in fact, as the alley became coated in ice and a strange force froze their feet to the ground. The two managed to turn, only to see a large, seven-tailed fox made of ice smack-dab behind them... and it did not look happy.
"And exactly what, pray tell, did you two think you were doing?" the fox asked as he casually moved closer, his gaze cold and his tone icy, the alley getting colder by the second. "I certainly hope you weren't trying to do anything... untoward to her." The two terrified thugs shook their heads frantically, too scared shitless to even question where a walking, talking, seven-tailed fox made of ice and snow came from. "Really?" He glanced over at Kimera, then returned his gaze to the thugs, his eyes growing even colder, if that were possible. "The state of the lady's clothes state otherwise. You know, the one thing I hate more than snakes is rapists... I have a tendency to turn them into ice statues." As if on cue, the ice surrounding the thugs' feet began creeping up their bodies at a rapid pace, Samuke in his fox form doing nothing but watch with frosty eyes.

Sam nodded, his gaze softening as he looked at the girl. In a flurry of snow, they vanished, reappearing back at Kimera's house with Sam in his true form, the arctic fox demon holding the girl close protectively with both his arms and his tails.
Of course, it was at that point that their little bonding moment was broken up by a certain worried arctic fox kit, the little guy sniffing Kimera and circling her, as if to make sure she was okay.

Kenji yipped in confirmation, wagging his tail.
Samuke blinked at the apparent non sequitur, but answered the question anyway. "Yes to the knot, unless I'm in human form. As for what out kits will be like, it depends - if I was in human form at the time of conception, they'll have a human appearance, if I was in fox form they'll have at least the tail - possibly multiple tails - and ears, and if I was in my true form, they could go either way or have their traits fall somewhere in between. Either way, they'll still be half-demons - it'll just be the appearance, abilities, and some of the instincts that'll vary," he explained.

"Whichever you like more; I'm not a pick eater," Sam answered, glancing around; true, he'd been hanging around for a couple of days now, but he'd never really been in Kimera's house for more than a few seconds.

"I will have you know that the only thing I ever break is the occasional douchebag," Sam answered haughtily as he took her up on her offer and explored a bit. "...And I broke some bones a couple of times in some of my crazier prank schemes, but I was young and not as good at avoiding injury."

"Yeah, was just exploring a little first." Sam returned to the kitchen table and sat down, starting to eat with a small smile. "Delicious as always."
Kenji yipped happily and tried to scrabble up onto a chair, failing miserably and landing on his back with the cutest little expression.
