Akeem waited an uncomfortable amount of time on top of the flagship waiting for Maria and her bondmate. Anxiety bloomed in him and he seriously considered diving back into the water and trying to find them. But instead he merely crouched down near the hole he had created, keeping balance easily as he peered through the water at the fight below. From this proximity it was a weird experience to be cut off from the battle yet so close. Watching through the water gave Akeem the sense that he was looking from a window or some sort of video surveilance. A grim expression was on his face, his brow furrowed in boiling anger. He eventually settled into a meditative position back in the hatch, knowing that letting his emotions run wild was exactly what he shouldn't do. That was how greater warriors than him had faced their demise. The Djinn was seething with unbridled wrath and needed to regain control. So while he waited for the duo to surface he took in steadying breaths and focused on their ultimate goal.
When she finally came he accepted her hand, hoisting himself up and out. Without much of a word he opened his vest and held out the book. Then something shifted against him and revealed more pages bound together. These were the ones that had been collected through their efforts. Akeem reached into the shiny material against his chest and pulled out the pages, completey in tact and safe. "I do not know what will happen from here. Be ready for anything." Akeem said as he unbinded the pages, quickly rebinding them into their proper positions within the book. It took longer than he would have liked but they were out of order. Deft fingers flitted about, retying and untying pages with a clearly fervent speed. Akeem rose to his feet and met the eyes of Maria, his molten gold ones almost undreadable. The Djinn offered the book to her, feeling it was only right that she was the one to rend Kaminae from her fountain of power. After all, Maria was the one who had to choose between her people and her nation.

The pages reveal. They speak of many things; of life, of death, of heaven and hell, the sea and the gate beyond. They go further than just Kaminae: they are, essentially, our book of Genesis. Creation is what they speak of. The beginning of the new world with the fall of the old one. The flood. The Mer rising.
And they reveal something that has never been known to man, nor woman, nor child, nor demon nor angel. Only Michael could've known, and only Kala could've known; that somehow, Axiom was created with the Gate of Hell already inside. What did that mean, one could wonder?
It meant that -- essentially -- Michael knew Kala existed before she cast Vaet Nocturnum. It meant that he created a path between Axiom and Hell, just as he created a path between Axiom and Heaven. So, then, it meant that Michael allowed this eternal war rather than simply presiding over Axiom with and of himself. It meant he allowed Kala to plant her seed, to use the Gate of Hell to contact Xyrus, to cast her magic and unleash demons into the world. Now, the question was... why? Why would he do that?
The collection of the pages reveal the answer. When the twenty four pages collectively came together, and in the presence of Kaminae, a twenty-fifth page emerged. This page said everything. It was not written by the elves. None of them were. This page was written by Michael himself.
Little lambs, as he often refers to mankind, I have lied to you. I have lied to you time and time again. Now, one could say that it is my prerogative, my right to do so. But the sort of lying I allowed myself to engage in... it's something that could have no greater meaning that would benefit you as my creations. You see, there is something that I craved long ago that allowed me to create this mess in the first place.
When Axiom was first created, I tried to make a vessel of flesh for myself so that I may directly live among the humans on earth. Truth be told, even though I lived among angels of heaven with wisdom and power in each of them, I was always lonely. I created the world and the people in it the way they were in order to create some semblance of happiness. Somehow, even as you warred and hated, the universe had never been more peaceful before your emergence. My ultimate dream was to abandon my Godhood and simply live as a man among men, sleeping among the hay and the horses and searching for my true love. Of course, on both separate occasions where I attempted to create a vessel, two Gods were crafted instead: Narathos, and Malacai. Originally, I despised the idea of their existence simply because it meant I could never live out my dream. Eventually, however, considering they were as dynamic as I was -- I began to enjoy their presence.
I began to speak with them as my equals, and create journeys with them and live out even just a semblance of my dream. It was fun while it lasted, but it didn't last long. You see, neither of them ever had good intentions in the first place.
I want to reveal something to you, little lamb. In the beginning, there was no Kala. There was no vast expanse of blackness. There was only me. The truth is that I am the base of all things. I created the universe, but it did not have sentience as it does now. I created the Gate of Hell as a place to send rotten angels who wished to usurp my power or torment human beings. Originally, the fallen angels were the ones I considered "demons", before mankind began to grow corrupt. But why did this happen? Why did a black void like the universe become sentient, why did mankind go corrupt, and why was I powerless to stop it?
Kali. My third attempt to create a vessel. Malacai and Narathos convinced me that my loneliness could be absolved if only I could create many like us. I did enjoy them, it was true, and I did wish for more people, more diversity. They told me to create a woman as I did for the men on Axiom, and to make her strong and willful like the Pagan Gods. So, I did, trusting them to the fullest extent. I suppose it was only an experiment for them to see what happened as I tried to create a vessel; whether my power fluxed, or diminished, whether or not I was put into a state of weakness. The answer is that yes, I was put into a state of weakness. Creating a God capable of such greatness is something that I cannot do on a whim. Just as I twisted and turned for many nights after I brought Solaris and Zachariah into the world, I was left weakened by Kali's emergence. And somehow, even though you could consider her as a newborn child, when she looked into my eyes and saw that, you could tell she only remarked in that she could exploit that moment of fragility.
Malacai, Narathos and Kali all descended onto me and used a new and horrifying power: I can only call it the Siphon, it is essentially the ability to steal power from one thing and direct it to something else. However, funny enough, the three of them did not trust each other enough to allow any my power to revert to any of them. So, instead, they directed what you could consider an entire half of me to . . . simply, nothing. They wanted it to fly away to the end of space and time where no one could abuse it. It was only so that they could weaken me enough to overthrow me, nothing more.
But at the end of space and time, I guess you could say my power was vast and wild enough to bring even the inanimate to life. Kala was born from this, my energy flooding the universe and -- as a response -- the universe soaking it up and gaining something of an imagination. Of course, I never revealed this to anyone. I told my angels she had always been sleeping, always waiting to strike. How could they believe in a God that was so foolish, and so drunk over the idea of companionship and love? I needed to be strong, even though I was weaker than ever.
If you are reading this now, it means that the world is coming to an end. Narathos wields my greatest secret, and will reveal it to my angels before he allows humanity to obtain the full twenty-four pages. I know that they will overthrow me. However, as a last stop, I've created something invaluable for you people to use in order to protect yourself from him, the angels and the demons. It is this twenty-fifth page. It entails the ability to separate a demon from Hell, an angel from Heaven, and Narathos, Malacai and Kali from me.
You can only choose one, and the reason for this is that the destruction of the page is required in order to unleash its power.
You can choose to separate the angels from heaven and weaken them,
The demons from hell and weaken them,
Or the three rogue 'vessels' from me and free me from my binding.
The most powerful words ever written lay before her. Maria was unable to stop reading, stop hearing a voice so majestic and full of life and light. When she was called lamb she could only smile and feel... important in a way that was selfish, but she savored it. The tale that the words spun were crazy. Nearly impossible to believe but at the same time not so farfetched. Micheal had walked the world into this situation himself. He may not have meant for this to happen, Kala and Kaminae, her family, but it was his fault. But the rage within her was quelled as she read on. Pennance, punishment, revenge, none of it mattered as she read on and on. She came to the end quickly, even though her common tongue wasn't as good as her meritian. She was awestruck at first, at the power she held. But then reality sank in harshly.
She had a decision to make... again. The angels, crazy as it sounds, were a valid choice. With the weakness of Michael revealed there was no doubt that there would be a very scary sect of repercussions specifically set to ending the world that would follow, if his words and her knowledge of religion held out. If they too were weakened, then she was certain Michael could handle them. But... if she were to eliminate the three individuals, then there would be no problem in the first place. They may not be the genesis of the issue but with Michael released upon them they would be nothing before him. But that would create the potential for a war that our species nor theirs would come out of well off.
And then there was the final choice. The one that made the most sense in her mind, be it from bias or otherwise. The choice to seperate the demons from hell and weaken them, as it was written. The choice that would no doubt make Kaminae a fair fight. If hell's gate lost its grasp on her, as well as any other demons, then this fight would shift in Maria's favor heavily. She was not going to try and rationalize it any other way. She made her choice. She tore the page free and shouted at the top of her lungs: "SEVER HELL'S CONNECTION TO THE DEMONS!"

Akeem had moved over to Maria's side to read along with her. He could not simply stand around without knowing what these pages held. Too much time had been spent hunting some of them and the Djinn had put his life on the line enough times to warrant him earning the right to read these pages. Surprise passed along his face as he gazed at the words. They were in ancient elvish, that much he had remembered. Yet right before his eyes they began to transform and wiggle into common. And then a silence unbefit a battlefield fell over the two Aramilian agents.
Wonder spread across Akeem's face when it became clear who had written this particular page. The knowledge that the two of them now held was so incredibly vast that the Djinn felt a huge weight press against him. In their hands they had the ability to render the angels and demons from their power, or to give Michael his strength back. He turned and looked at Maria with an incredibly concerned look on his face, though the reasons were winding and twisted so deeply together he probably couldn't have voiced anything at that moment. The obvious answer here was to sunder the demons from the gate of hell, thus weakening Kaminae and allowing the two to continue with their mission. But Kaminae wasn't the only demon. Akeem swallowed past the hard lump in his throat and thought of West, an incubus who had transcended and entered the full demon form. What would this do to him? Even the Djinn had demon blood inside of them, would this have a rippling affect so wide that Akeem could not possibly perceive it?
It did not matter.
He had his orders, no matter the cost to himself or those he cared for. The look he had given to Maria steeled and he nodded his head just before she shouted her answer to the skies. Akeem felt a twinge of something deep within him, a stirring beyond the physical realm. He blinked rapidly and clenched his hands, letting the chill wash over him and then disappear. He had been waiting for some sort of cataclysmic event to happen but all it had been was a weird feeling. Nothing around them happened right away and Akeem was suddenly feeling very concerned.
About half of the underwater fleet sent to kill Kaminae had already been destroyed. All-in-all, you could say that the damage done in this single battle would be more costly to the collective Fraxon Empire than even a large-scale war. The technology applied -- new, and powerful tech -- was incredibly expensive. Largely, the reason for this great destruction was the fact that Kaminae had not been severed from hell much earlier; the action was to be taken some time ago, but Maria and Akeem then interfered. The people in the submarines were left wondering -- why is she not changing? Did it fail? Is there no hope? Are we to die?
They manned their barriers, their great elemental powers through a collective of tech and mana. The mark-wielders used great and massive spells to repel Kaminae's own, but even in this great quantity, they were no match for the true titan of the sea. Maria and Akeem would see them fleeing, and they would see her catch many of them, though they spread out in different directions so she couldn't get them all. Then, something great happened. Her eyes widened and her body stilled; it looked as if she had been struck by something, like a blade to the heart. Evidently, her connection to hell was severed, which would effect her more than any other demon. Her power -- beyond her own mortal capability -- came from the Gate. In return, she was entrusted with the task of keeping it closed forever so that the demons and their souls may not leak through and weaken. It was a scheme of Kala's to keep herself secure.
However, as the gate opened, her power drained. A horde of black seeped into the water, but it was not liquid. Rather, it was a substance beyond magic. It was souls. They surged through, outward, quickly. In just a few moments, billions of them escaped through the gate as the demons containing them lost their connection to hell. Many of the souls were not just the sacrificed, but the demons themselves, being expelled from their home. They were flung to the surface and beyond, a signal of the great change that was about to take place.
Kaminae remained. She did not seem shocked, really. Perhaps you could say she predicted this -- expected it, always, this day of reckoning. She remained calm. No, if anything, she was happy. There was a great smile on her face like the rising sun and the surface of the sea. She began to laugh. Loudly. Perhaps a bit pretentiously. To her, this was beyond rich; she did not find this funny, she instead found it incredibly liberating. For once, she was finally split off from that God-forsaken gate and was free to do as she pleased. As the most powerful Mer alive. As the Empress of Los Anthos. As the one that would shake the world.
"I'll have to thank you two. I was getting bored of that joke of a life. Always sucking up to Kala; Kala, the woman that sought to give us power only so that we could later use it to help her destroy us. I was waiting for a moment to get away from her, and that sentimental gook of a gate. ******** the gate. I am the Gate of the Undying, a creature beyond comprehension. I have spoken to no one but you in a thousand years, Kaminae. Do this, do that, fetch me this, kill or be killed. Always. Now look at it. It's nothing. Nothing at all. No energy, no power, no prestige." She looked back at it, and made a fairly obnoxious spitting noise before turning her sight once again to the two -- Akeem, and Maria.
She looked, then, at Intet -- Maria's dragon. She smiled slightly. It was a grand dragon indeed, and the Mer before her was impressive. She was not nearly on Kaminae's level, but she could feel the potential in her. And then, Akeem. Oh, she felt something about him too. Not just potential, but a familiar presence. It felt like that man -- not only West, but also Lukhan. He was a part of that triumvirate that may as well have been the breeding program of hell; the Incubus, the Succubus, and the Djinn. He had demon's blood. Good. She'd like to kill him, then, and drink it off his flesh.
"You two are very powerful. I'm glad that Emperor West respects me enough to send two of his elite. It's sad, though, that he didn't come himself. He should've. He'll regret not coming. Because then he won't have the two of you to help protect him when I flood the gates of that city and rend him of his life. You two will be long gone, indeed. At the bottom of the sea. You and your dragon, of course. Very stalwart beast. He would've grown strong. But he's not nearly the greatest of his creed. I'll show you, now, my dragon." From behind her, a collective of fog and mist appeared. It was a mass -- hundreds of meters covered by this thick gaseous liquid that could somehow survive underwater. It began to move, to shape into something to better represent what it was. It shaped into a beast with wings, talons and a great head that could intimidate Michael himself. And then, audibly to anyone even remotely near, it roared.
"When I was very young, I discovered this little creature on the coastline of Kevai. This was before Los Anthos was anything but a collection of Meritian tribes, long before the moment where I gave my soul to the devil. Of course, once that happened and I became a demon, I no longer aged. But he did. He grew old and frail and inevitably he died. But I would not let him go like that. No... I would not. There was once another creature deep in this ocean that you could consider a tier four God. It was a gambit by Michael to disassemble Los Anthos, a beast that would remove the devil witch's grasp. However, I slayed it. Like you two, it was not good enough to fell me. Instead, it only made me more powerful. It allowed me to bring Alexander back to life -- my sweet, fragile dragon. When he returned, however, he no longer possessed a mortal form. He would never come to rot and die ever again. Unlike you." She manipulated the fog, and sent it forth. Forth, inevitably, to come against the trio of Akeem, Intet and Maria.

At first nothing seemed to happen, and Maria was dumfounded. All this work for nothing? No... it couldn't be true. Her ultimate goal in life... it was almost here. It was within their grasp. Kaminae could DIE. She had to. What in the ******** was going on!? As she began to allow wrath to pull on her mind, she was startled by the page exploding in blue light before her, making her slam her eyes shut and drop the other pages on the deck. Moments later as she recovered she looked to the water. Billions of souls, a literal grouping of them, shot to the sky. She jumped back, Intet taking to the air and snatching her from it as a reflex, but they felt nothing. Without knowing what was going on, and fearing that something had gone wrong the dove back into the water where she held dominion.
Only it was not so.
Things had gone right. So very right. That hags face... the demon Kaminae rendered mortal by Maria's trickery. Maria's eyes burned into Wrath's as she saw the Queen of the sea. She wasn't in her own world anymore. Now she was in Kaminae's. Maria snapped her jaws shut as she spoke, choosing not to say a word to the woman. She was having a hard enough time containing her wrath at all. But when she spoke of Intet... of her and her companions dying, Maria channeled her rage through Intet, who gave a defiant roar at the woman. Maria aimed her trident at Kaminae and grabbed a scale on INtet's back. Her words were nothing to Maria now. However... the mist was something to her indeed. A threat.
And it's rawr dwarfed Marias. But it didn't matter. The pair rused at the abomination, confident as they were filled with fury. With so much hate and anger in the area on both sides, including her own, Maria let out a roar and caused an explosion of fire to echo out in the waters, dangerous to both fleets at once. The entire area around them, surface to the lowest level of fighting, all around Kaminae, Akeem, intet and Maria, would be a sudden burst of flames. She'd lost control of herself, and wrath had taken control. Standing there atop Maria's dragon was a monster of it's own breed, holding the mark of gram in his hands. Immediately after the explosion he would leap to the fog and swing his arms down full force at the previously scary head. Almost foolish an idea, even under water, Fuel would make it so the rage monster would tear through the water with the Mark of Gram's blade.
[Techs used: Fuel Rank: C Description: By using his anger to fuel his attacks, Wrath is able to increase his physical abilities beyond what he is normally able to achieve even if he has already gained a power increase by furthering his wrath even more. When using his own wrath to power his attacks, a tell-tale glow will form around his hand. While this skill can only be used once every other post and only three times per fight, it has the power of a fully transformed dragon to make up for its limited use.
Spark Rank: C Description: With a simple snap of his fingers, Wrath can either freeze or burn all of the negative emotions in the air around him. The more hate, vengeance, etc. there is, the larger the area this skill can affect and the stronger the freeze/heat this skill can create. Wrath will literally freeze/burn the emotions of the sin he is associated with as if they were water (ice) or fuel (fire). The rapidity of this skill at executing its effect gives it a secondary effect as well: an explosion. Because it spreads so rapidly, Spark not only ices over/sets on fire everything in the area, it also causes a blast akin to a number of heavy explosives. After using Spark, Wrath is unable to use any skills that requires the wrath of others for at least three posts.
Mark of Gram Rank: A Description: Located on Wrath's upper arm is a violently twisted mark that emits a definite feeling of wrath. Whenever either his host or himself gets extremely wrathful, the mark will pulse with the chaotic blend of energy that Wrath is composed of and release its power. When released, the Mark of Gram takes the form of a giant, constantly shifting blade that is practically uncontrollable. Because of the lack of control over it, the only thing that can be done with this blade is to attack, it cannot be used to defend. For every post the Mark of Gram is active, it drains away an A-rank amount of energy and it can only be deactivated when the user runs out of energy, the cause of the initial wrath disappears, or the mark is nullified forcefully. The blade of Mark of Gram can cut through anything and everything except for void. ]

For those few moments where nothing happened Akeem was sincerely beginning to doubt their mission. Then, in a light so bright he had no choice to turn away the page Maria had been holding fizzled away. The entire battle shifted then and Kaminae actually surfaced and turned her attention to the three of them. He felt his body slowly entering a battle ready position; back leg sliding back, knees bending, eyes fixated on his target. The Djinn knew he was at a terrible disadvantage out at sea. He would have a harder time moving when everything else could fly and swim like they had been born to do it.
There were no words to say in response to Kaminae. Akeem had no need to retort or taunt or even let out some sort of battlecry. Maria and Intet already knew what was at stake here, and even she didn't waste any time in talking back. Akeem could feel the presence of Kaminae and her creature of the mist looming before him and knew he had to act quick. The Djinn quickly shot out his leg and kicked the air before him six of times, aiming as if he was hitting the chest, head, and abdomen of an opponent. His eyes were locked onto Kaminae, and that was where the Love Taps would go. Right after he knew he had to get out of the way so before Maria and Intet had taken off he grabbed ahold of the dragon's tail. They pulled him through the air and with expert timing Akeem released the beast and dove for Kaminae, channeling the force around his body as he flipped in the air and extended a leg. The energy he was putting into this maneuver as well as the height would have him dropping like a cannon ball straight for the sea witch. His goal was to smash his body into her as hard as he could, with the force acting as his cushion.
• Love Tap C Using a burst of psycho-kinetic energy, the djinn may literally send the force that a punch/kick would make against someone's skin at an opponent. The 'taps' are barely visible in the air, but appear almost as a clear puff of smoke. They're quick, and upon impact, other on-punch/kick abilities can be chained. This can extend up to thirty feet.
• Forceful Impact C This ability is a landing move that can chain off of forceful flight, or pretty much anything that involves falling down and landing. You can even use this with a regular jump, considering djinn posses the physical ability to make very high jumps. In pretty much any position, you will create a shell of energy around you (so yes, this can be used as a defensive move as well) that reacts to forceful landings with massive kinetic force, potentially creating small craters upon landing. This barrier also effects your landing speed; it'll dramatically increase the pace in which you fall to the earth. Its rank of strength will increase depending on how far you fell from.
Anything below thirty feet - C rank strength Thirty feet to sixty-five - B rank strength Sixty-five feet and above - A rank strength

From shadows, Nai appeared in darkness, submerged under water. Even with the rebreather on, the gunslinger's first instinct kicked in before she could stop them and she immediately began swimming upwards. Just one stroke, that was all it took for her to break the surface and find herself within arm's reach of a sea-faring vessel.
That wasn't what was important, though. Sadly, what was important wasn't a sea dragon. No, it was something completely unrelated to Nai's purpose for being in the middle of a fight, which meant it was really just unavoidable trouble she would need to get through. There, some ways in front of Nai for reasons she did not know stood what appeared to be a gigantic mermaid and some other creature.
{Kaminae,} X hissed into Nai's mind, doing his best to sound lazy and unconcerned, {A creature at the level of a god. It seems that a Djinn and a mer dragoon are fighting her.}
A mer dragoon. That was actually what Nai was looking for. It looked like all this potential trouble wasn't for nothing then. First, though, Nai wanted some solid footing before beginning the fight. She stretched to the vessel besides her and pulled herself up it without any trouble thanks to her foresight to not try and wear her coat and scarf while attempting to maneuver underwater. All the while, Nai kept her eyes on Kaminae and those around her, calculating how best to approach this situation.

Passives XXChaotic Energy: A passive skill that comes naturally after learning at least five chaos skills, Chaotic Energy is present when the chaos within the user reaches the point where it effects the way their energy is seen. It causes the energy to relay absolutely no concrete information (ex: class, rank, sins). Energy sensors will still be able to sense the affected person's energy. However, the energy will be such a mixed up mess that they will be unable to extract any information out of it. At most, they will know that something is unusual with the user. However, what this abnormality is will be unknown as the messed-up patterns of energy hint at nothing. XXTemporal Accuracy: Those who can control time naturally have a keen sense of time that is capable of accurately keeping the time without any form of outside help. This sense of time is even maintained during the usage of bloodline skills for both the time passed by the user and the time passed by those unaffected by the bloodline skills. Unlike most of the Tempus Inexstinctus's skills, this ability does not break down when within a meter of another significant energy source.
Fable wished she could see what was written on the pages she glimpsed in Maria's possession, but they disappeared into light before she could make her way through the battlefield to ask. Then, darkness surrounded her from all sides. She didn't panic, but she certainly couldn't get a clear view of the field with all the visual obstruction, so she prioritized getting out of the soul-infested waters, taking in all the sensations she could as she swam with all her speed out of the water and into the air above. This was, clearly, a once in a lifetime event she was witnessing.
Fable's assumptions were further proven with the rising of Kaminae from the waters. The gatekeeper had been freed, along with all it held back. Axiom would change with this, and here Fable was, able to witness it all, assuming she survived on the fringes of the fight.
(OOC: I would join the fight with Fable to provide aerial support for Akeem, but I don't think that's allowed when I'm planning on joining with Nai crying .)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxKAMINAE OF ANTHOS
In response to Akeem, she created the Blood Hunters. The group of water-born sharks swarmed around her, deflecting the Love Taps that she could feel penetrating the water around her. Then, she quickly began to rise to the surface using the Arm of the Queen, an ability designed to play on her supremacy when surrounded by a field of water. By using this ability and quickly springing up forty feet, she was able to absolutely minimize the damage of Akeem's Forceful Impact, as he'd only drop a few feet before impacting. But he wouldn't impact her. Instead, the Blood Hunters would emerge from the towering fortress of water she'd created around herself, and they would have their jaws open wide and waiting for Akeem's leg to make impact. In an instant after he'd try and fail to destroy one of them, they'd shut their jaws around him and take away his leg... at the very least. Kaminae stared at him, with a deviant expression, waiting for his reaction.
Further down, Alexander was surrounded by powerful attacks from both Maria and Intet. He did not fear any of them, however, except for one. As a reaction to the dragon, the fog dispersed and quickly moved outwards, dodging the blade. The roar of flames did not mean much, and the dragon was able to completely endure it without much consideration. The submarines were also capable of fending off the attack, and Kaminae's Queen's Arm protected her from the blast as well, the water staving it off before it could ascend the tower.
After moving outward, which was done as Intet swung, he moved behind Intet and sought to wrap around him from the back. The "dragon" would then use a particular and exceptionally powerful ability, one that separated it from the weak creatures of other Mer and Dragoon. An ultimately powerful attack. The fog did not change in color or appearance in any way, in fact the change was almost completely unnoticeable. It would only be noticed when -- inevitably -- Intet was feeling even his hardened scales burning away in moments with an all-consuming acid slaughtering him faster than he could comprehend.

• Blood Hunters A -50 EN The Mer will create three massive sharks (about the size of a great white) made of water. In order for them to stay on the field, Trident must be active (or you must be partially submerged); they need at least two feet of water beneath them. They will skate atop the water, and very quickly. When there is more and more water and the level is high enough, they will be completely submerged, and will be extremely hard to see. They can jump out from the water, bite at enemies, or gang up on and murder enemies stuck within the body of water. Physical attacks will only slip through them, as only their teeth is solid (ice). They will continue to hunt the enemy for five posts before dispersing.
• The Arm of the Queen A -50 EN The vortex ability allows you to spiral a tower of water around yourself, which in essence allows you to float atop water as if you were a mobile fortress. The amount is miniscule, about as thick as yourself, but it can extend to a length of up to forty feet, and provides you a great defense as well as a great amount of water to manipulate. However, your sight of the ground is decimated in this state, so you're vulnerable to attacks from below. It lasts for ten posts. Your passive ability can be used with this, as you're considered to be underwater.
• Abandon the Flesh S -250 EN One of Alexander's strongest abilities. By changing the pH and energy level of his fog-like body, he is allowed to completely absorb and incinerate attacks, organics and synthetics with his body. This is an ultimate defense and an ultimate attack, with the acid being powerful enough to burn regular flesh literally instantly on contact, and hardened flesh in a still very brief period of time. This cloak lasts until another cloak is decided. )
As wrat's blade sailed through Alexander, he believed that he had dispersed the monster effectively in one hit. Maria, however snatched her body back, falling to the water quickly and watching it turn to ice around the Mark of Gram. She heard intet roar loudly and turned to see the dragon in fact still alive. But as with most boss battles this one would not be so easy for either side. Intet was not surprised and was none too slow on his reaction to the monster attempting to wrap around him from the back, the dragon would release an exceptionally high amount of energy across the battlefield in an attempt to momentarily throw off the mosnter and her master, Kaminae. As he roared, the wind and fog based dragon as well would be pushed away by a massive force, clouds gathering in the skies as this occured. The water in the area, even as great as it was, would be immediately frozen, including the arm of the queen. In that moment, Maria launched upwards before the water froze, and planning on swinging the mark of gram directly through the now frozen tower of water. Intet, having finished roaring would dive towards Kaminae, hoping he'd stayed the fog-like monster in ice hopefully. As a blizzard rolled in, Maria took advantage of the sudden change in landscape and hopefully would be able to land a blow on the witch with her powerful sword in hand, with the addition of Akeem holding her attention at that moment.

Depending on the amount of energy paid and existing conditions, a host of things can happen. In its most basic form, the attack puts a layer of thick, cold ice over everything even making some spikes erect from the ground. At SS energy paid, this will make the clouds appear and a blizzard to erupt in addition to this, and there will be more spikes and the like as well. Akeem was in a seriously bad place, which was about to be between the teeth of these sharks. Or he would have been, had Bastion not existed. The little layer covering his chest suddenly expanded into a tube shape, pushing all the water and sharks away from Akeem. The shark teeth would slam down on the impenetrable barrier and then the Djinn was launching through the air once more, seemingly being shoved to the side by absolutely nothing. He went through the water of the Sea Witch just before it froze, and thanks to Bastion's barrier he was totally protected from it. The barrier suddenly shifted to a platform and the Djinn jumped off of it, rising slightly above where Kaminae was. Now Maria was attacking from her side and had frozen the water, Akeem was unleashing his own torrent of attacks. The barrier that he had leapt from once more found its place against his chest and Akeem became engulfed in the force. As he fell through the air a sudden burst of impacts shot forth from him, this time not moving through water to alert Kaminae. Akeem cocked back his arm swiftly and charged it with his energy. The veins in his arm bulged briefly at the sudden surge of power and it looked as if all the muscles on his arm were flexing. He intended to punch Kaminae square in the head and release all of that energy at once. Despite the danger of this ability Akeem knew how to stop himself from accidentally hitting something else. But if he did hit Kamine with the force of a hit designed to easily destroy steel he would have smaller problems to deal with, so the damage to his arm wouldn't be as serious.

• Three Wishes Up to three times per fight, the djinn may manipulate the force around an attack to redirect it for two ranks less in energy. This can only be done on skills of one rank higher than them. This is an extremely powerful passive of the djinn, an intelligent djinn capable of using it to largely make up for their vulnerability to ranged magic. It can also help to leave an enemy open in close-quarters combat.
• Mind Games The djinn have a permanent 'force' around their skin that will reduce incoming damage by a rank (excluding holy and unholy magic). This puts them on the same level of base defensibility as a werewolf, although they can't regenerate, so... At adept rank, this force can become amplified by the djinn's mind, psychomanually controlling the level of force in the layer of magic. They can apply energy to it to block all manner of attacks, meaning they don't really have to learn defensive abilities. It is really no more potent than any other defense of its rank, though.
• Chi Sense This is required for all Dim Mak techniques. It allows the user to see the flow of chi within any surrounding enemies in an area, making hiding from them quite useless as they pop up in their vision just as easily as infrared. This vision will last for five posts at a time, and requires a cool down of one post after usage. Once Stage 4 is learned, the negative effects of this technique disappear and becomes a passive ability of the user.
Technique
• Dragon Dance B The djinn may unleash a volley of kicks and punches simply by using force. Their body won't even have to actually move, and yet over a dozen impacts will be made with the enemy. These extend up to five feet, basically a short-range, but repeating 'love tap'. At the end of the volley, an arc (similar to a drop-kick) will smash down at whatever's within ten feet of them.
• Forceful Shift D Using your mind, you can move your body, very quickly and without hesitation. Even a body recoiling from something can be moved this way. Manipulating your own force is so simple, it barely costs you any energy. You can use this in a variety of ways, but the most common way is for dodging. Whether to shift to the side, duck, or even side-step, the shift is great for avoiding close-calls. It's also an ability designed to take advantage of an enemy's opening.
• Force Breaker C Requires Novice Rank A skill that can devestate those struck by it. By focusing energy into one of the user's arms, it'll grow slightly and begin streaming with energy. The strength in that arm grows by +2 ranks. Upon punching an object or another with the charged up arm, all the energy will be let loose in one point at once, resulting in a explosive, destructive punch. This can easily shatter concreate and even steel walls should your strength already be 9 or higher. After usage, this skill cannot be used for another three posts and the strength returns to normal in the arm. The only negative side to this skill is upon striking the target, when the energy explodes the bone in your arm becomes fractured from the sudden release of concentrated energy. Using this skill again without medical attention will result in the bone shattering, requiring master rank cleric to heal the injury. Until then, that arm will be useless.
• Stay Out D-SS Bastion can create a barrier of any shape he wishes, hollow or not, around any object(s) or person(s) he wants. These barriers are able to completely withstand attacks at its level and shirk off lower powered techniques. He can only create one barrier at a time, though he can manipulate it freely from there. This means he can shrink it or grow it or spin it, etc. Bastion's barriers have a 5 in speed in terms of how quick he can shift them, and they can only reach the size of a caravan.

A small shiver coursed through Nai's body as the temperature suddenly dropped, freezing not just the ocean water but also the droplets of water that clung to the woman's body and clothes. Nai let her body continue to shake only for long enough to loosen the particles of ice that now clung to her. An experimental shrug sent tiny shards of the frozen water, practically dust, falling down around her. Even with her face now speckled with white from the ice and goosebumps forming on her skin, the emotionless gunslinger simply didn't think it worth the time to go through the actions most others would go through to warm themselves up, needless movements like hugging herself or shivering for longer than necessary.
Instead, she used the time that could have been spent on warming up on moving into the fight. Nai stepped onto the now frozen ocean surface and ran across it to approach the fight. She would have preferred to keep her distance from Kaminae and shoot from the back, but the mer demon's elevated position made such tactics inefficienct. Not have the mer's underwater mobility or the berserker's physical perfection, Nai didn't kid herself into believing she could, by her own power, get into the thick of the fight immediately, especially not when she still had to think of a way to climb up to the icy platform.
However, X was another story. With the shadows spread by the cloudy day, he could do so much so long as he was willing to expend the energy for it. {Trump Card,} was the only warning the fox gave Nai before a tail of shadows erupted from beneath her. Nai, only moment away from giving a similar order, easily grabbed onto the ride and clung to it tightly as it sped across the iced ocean. As she, the tail, and X, who was hanging out in Nai's shadow, approached the platform, Nai jumped off the tail as the tail launched her, giving her enough air to safely skid onto the platform. The traction of the surface, being ice, was horrible, but it would have to do. After launching Nai, the tail continued on its way, snaking up the pillar of ice that supported the platform.
Now here Nai was, finally in range to do something just as Akeem was about to punch what was essentially a goddess in the face. To either defend or take the hit, Kaminae would briefly suffer a moment with a decreased field of vision. Nai recognized this immediately and in case it wasn't enough, she added in more when she curtly asked X, {Shadow Masquerade. Jester's Blindfold.} Immediately, everywhere within 10 meters of Nai's shadow, where X remained, would darken. The shadows created by the heavy storm clouds would deepen to make the battle appear as if it was taking place during dusk. If Akeem being in front of Kaminae's face wasn't enough of a decrease in vision for Jester's Blindfold to activate, then the change in light would certainly be. Unless, of course, Kaminae had some form of low-light or even darkvision. Barring those circumstances, though, the deity should find herself unable to not only see, but also unable to smell, taste, or hear. X didn't need telling to go all the way with this skill, not when Nai's thoughts had implied without words she knew about a Mer's hypersensitivity.

Skills XXName: Trump Card Energy cost: B Description: Trump Card creates physical manifestations of the darkness to restrain, attack, defend, and do whatever X requires. These blunt, tendril-like "tails" are very flexible and move easily at X's command. Each tail requires a B-rank energy cost to create. Up to 9 may be created and each has the strength and speed of a Shade ninja. Their sizes and form may vary anywhere within a base width of no larger than 2 feet and total length no longer than 10 feet. The base of each tail must be positioned in a shadow of some sort. Extra energy does not need to be put into the skill over time unless it is to regenerate a destroyed/damaged tail. Regenerating a destroyed/damaged tail costs the same as creating a completely new tail. Completely destroyed tails cannot be regenerated until three posts after their destruction. XXName: Shadow Masquerade Energy cost: C Description: X spreads the shadows, casting a shadow on everything that already isn't in shadow while darkening whatever shadows already existed. All light sources significantly dim, not because this is how the shadows are spread but because it darkens the area further. At night in a place with poor lighting, this could cast the area into a nearly lightless darkness. At day, though, the air simply gains a shade of gray one step grayer than the view on a very cloudy day. The outline of figures such as surfaces and objects are still clearly visible. Although, the shadows that cover everything in this area makes all surfaces appear abnormally dark for the lighting suggested by the surrounding atmosphere, making details harder to pick out. All in all, Shadow Masquerade is used to either create shadows or create a minor hindrance to the vision of everyone in the area. It maintains itself for five posts with the initial input of energy, after which another dose of C-rank energy is required to maintain the skill for another five posts. Shadow Masquerade can be active for as long as there is energy to keep it active. The lighting change created by this skill does affect the cost of X's skills. The change in lighting covers an area spreading 10 meters around X in all directions: a circle with a diameter of 20 meters centered on X. XXName: Jester's Blindfold Energy cost: C Description: After the target(s)' vision has been decreased with some other skill, item, etc., X can magnify the effects of the visual hindrance to the point that the target(s) cannot see at all. This magical darkness can be continued even after the effects of the trigger have ended. Every three posts, a D-rank energy must be used to continue the effect. After reaching B-rank, X can use an advanced version of Jester's Blindfold that require a C-rank amount of energy to use and hold. This upgraded version blocks out sight in addition to smell, taste, and hearing.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxKAMINAE OF ANTHOS
Alexander had already displayed that he was far remiss from being terraformed to other substances, even those with energy augments. The "ice" simply melted as the acid seeped through it and disassembled it, the dragon continuing his pursuit of Intet, who in honesty was helpless in the long term. He once again attempted to destroy him, but this time with something akin to a bull-charge, trying to sweep past him and by doing so, degrade his flesh.
As for the rest of the ice that Kaminae found surrounding the field . . . well. She had her own uses for that. If Maria truly believed that she could beat the greatest water element user in the world by using water-borne abilities, she was greatly mistaken. The ice of the Queen's Arm quickly encased her, protecting her from Akeem's blow as it began to submerge itself with a whole new layer of energy; one of an unknown ability, a special power of the Mer blood. The Blade of the Queen. The jagged tower of ice began to skate over the field, and the ice surrounding it began to orbit as if planets to a sun. The large glaciers broke into smaller zweihander-sized spikes, all of them circling around Kaminae in her mobile fortress of ice.
Now, considering the proximity of both Akeem and Maria, Kaminae did not expect them to be able to dodge this. This attack from the moment the pillar froze until now had been quickly organizing to a point; in only a moment, it would initiate, and surely create something of a bloody Mary.
The spikes launched backwards, being flung into the pillar at top speeds, their both blunt and sharp edges facing the Blade of the Queen. Considering Maria and Akeem were both closing in on her, they'd be forced to evade dozens of extremely quick pillars of ice that were coming at them from areas beyond their vision. And then, as a finale, Kaminae dipped deeper through the pillar and into the ice, ensuring that even if her attack failed, she'd still evade their assaults. The decrease of sensory as she slipped deeper into full submergence did not bother her, as it was only a straight path down.
She emerged, then, with a cold aura surrounding her, and a trident gripped between her fingers: Belfast.
( • The Blade of the Queen S -100 EN An advanced version of the Arm of the Queen, which may either be cast individually or chained off of the Arm. If chained, the energy cost will reduce by 25, for a total of 100. This immediately freezes the Arm of the Queen, or simply reacts to a frozen Arm. It will begin to act as a black hole to surrounding ice, but with the ability to launch, manipulate and apply force and precision to all forms of ice. It is essentially a mobile ice fortress that the Mer may maneuver through or throughout, allowing them a whole new level of utility.
Maria was not surprised by what had transpired in those few moments. Her blade crashed through the tower, though there was no Kaminae to be seen within it, and then her keen ears picked up a sound like scraping. Ice was being sucked towards her and Akeem at high speeds. She had only the time and reaction to protect herself there, and even then only by letting free her own attack. She had only a second to do it, and it wouldn't be much but it would clear her from the range of the attack and put her where dragoons work best. She leaped into the air, dragoon energy carrying her higher up than most would think possible> She saw her baby in the air, flying down but called him off using psychic power. She panicked in her mind as she saw the fog beast approaching from behind, which alerted him. He snatched Maria out of the air, tucking her into his chest and then gave one huge, full on flap of his fully extended wings. The rushing dragon skirted past as Intet initiated an aerial roll, feeling his scales begin to burn from the acid and groaning in pain, but other wise avoiding the brunt of the damage with flashy aerial tricks. He let Maria go with a whip of his mighty arm, clear of the fog dragon but still in sight of the battle as Intet skidded to a stop atop the ice, his claws digging in and his eyes now on focused on Alexander. He looked as if he had been unphased thanks to his rider, dragoon magics keeping his body from taking too much harm from the acid he'd had a run in with.
Maria landed and held both the mark of gram in one hand, and her own trident in the other. She stood ready, choosing to wait for her moment to go in as her allies dealt with the attacks they were faced with. The woman was formiddable sure, but in the end she was just a mer, and Maria was nowhere near done with this battle and neither was intet, who had to be wary of Alexander. [Techs used:
