They were ... somewhere to the right of the middle of the island.
Brilliant.
Well, at least they were further inland than they were before, observed Lisandru. Carefully, he checked himself. His hands and lower arms were still covered by those gloves appropriately and his bag seemed to have landed in tact--if not a bit goofily with the way that his wild soul was once again back to hissing unhappily at him. Apparently his wild soul had not found the ride quite as thrilling as Lisandru had after the fact.
There was that prisckling again...
Still, even though Lisandru knew his gloves were secure, he shook his head at the offered hand and somewhat uncomfortably managed himself back to at least a sitting position. There seemed to be a lot more trees in the area they had landed in; the first thing Lisandru noticed was that the sun did not feel as warm or as omnipresent wherever they had managed to land themselves. That was good. Less burny burn, the better--
Why was he thinking like Prisma? 'If you can't beat em, join em,' was not a valid modus operandi. Living with his mother had taught him that much...
Not that Prisma was a mad scientist. She was just ...
Slightly mad.
"I'll be fine," managed Lisandru, looking around. "Right of the middle... Can you tell how far we are from the ocean from here, or no?" He certainly couldn't hear the sea sounds as well from here, but that may have been the increased cover muffling it, too. He did still smell the typical island air. "Anyway, this location might give us more to work with for a," he paused, mulling over the best word to use. After an uncomfortable gulp, he managed, "Happy happy hut."
He started to empty some of the wood out of his bag, after setting the pan with his taipan in it back on the ground. There was a small, irritated hiss from the taipan, though it seemed a little less irritated now.

She hadn't even thought of that! How far from the Ocean even were they? "Let me findy find out extremely!" she cooed and fluttered her wings, shooting into the air high enough to see.
She spun in circles, doing pirouettes and other random dance moves she had 'learned' from the Valentines Ball with that ever so blue fellow... Pothos... was it? "Oh right, Ocean! Ocean... ocean...ocean..." she hummed, turning back around, scanning the area with a hand above her eyes.
"I can see it extremely! But it is a fair walky walk without wings." she shouted down at him and nodded before flittering back down to the ground.
"OH GOODY EXTREMELY! We still get a happy happy hut! And the sun is not so bright here, mayhaps we won't get burny burned either!" she gleed and shook a patronizing finger at the bright orb in the sky.
"What shall I look for Mister Lisandru Sir?! How about leafy leafs for a roof? To keep out the rain so you do not get more sicky sick?" she asked and tiled her head, rocking back and forth on her heals, her hands and staff clasped behind her back and a cute blissful look on her face. There was many more trees around, finding big leaves shouldn't be a problem. Maybe in the process she would find the monkeys too! Except now she'd not offer her hairware, she was growing rather fond of it by now....
She was quite proud of herself... this hole worked rather nicely if she did say so herself.Seiana_ZI He's being converted! emotion_dowant

Why did she have to do everything extremely? He was pretty sure she was just doing things like everything else with an additional extremely tacked onto the end of every other damn action sentence. She was just flying up and --
Spinning. Was that necessary?
Ugh. Whatever. Lisandru decided to ignore the spinning and dancing through the air, instead looking down at the pile of wood he had successfully managed to put back together. Perfect. Now just for the matches, and they could get themselves a decent fire down here... could Prisma still make her so-called "puppets" in this much brush in order to get them a proper signal to those off the island?
Lisandru glanced up once again, ignoring Prisma as she finally started to pay attention to where the ocean was, and instead observing how high above the trees were in comparison to where they were, as well as how thick the leaves were. As least they seemed to be in a small open space in the middle of the trees. The fire wasn't terribly likely to spread.
Causing them all to die.
In a fire.
Literally.
Lisandru gulped--but was quickly stunned out of his nervousness when Prisma was at first shouting and then suddenly appearing back in front of him with even more shouting. Yes. Happy happy huts.
Those things.
"It's good we're not far from the water. If we need to we can probably carry some back and boil the salt out." Was that how it worked? Probably. "Leaves would be the best for the ... happy happy hut too. They'd keep out the rain and provide some cool shade without necessarily getting that horrid damp smell some of this wood has."
Some of the wood was probably soaked beyond repair, but he didn't need to share that...
"I'll get this fire started while you're looking."
Fea Line More like he's going, "... Maybe if I think in Priglish, this will be easier." LMAO

"Okey dokey smokey somkey!!" she nodded. She had a task!
Collect leaves extremely!
Fists clenched in determination, she set her staff down on the ground and flittered up to the trees and grabbed hole of a big green leaf. She gave a tug.... surprised that it did not come off on her first pull?! What was this magic?!
Scrunching up her face, she tugged again.... nothing. All she managed to do was give it a wee shake.
Taking a deep breath, she reared back as far as she could tug her arms aaannndd.... TUGGED!
.... nope, nothing.
But the tree did make funny noises..... this made her giggle. She took a deep breath and then TUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUGTUG!
The entire tree began to shake from the repeated force and tugging she continued to do, now prisckling louder and louder as it amused her more and more. Eventually the leaf gave way and tore from the tree, but tore sloppily in half/ "Whoopsies..... mayhaps I should find some already on the ground...." she giggled more and set off to go collecting already fallen leaves.
Her giggling could be heard for a few more feet as she disappeared into the growth on her great quest.Seiana_ZI Why do you keep making up new awesome words I feel compelled to use with her... XD I'm dying over here!

Smokey ... some key ...
What...?
"Sure!" offered Lisandru after her, not quite able to make sense out of her Priglish this time. Some key ... the leaves were the key to their survival? Maybe that was what she was trying to get across. Lisandru scrunched his nose, before deciding just to give up on it.
Fire. Right.
Lisandru looked down at the slightly damp package of matches. Thankfully, the matches inside seemed to be fairly well protected. Now, the real question was, would they strike against this package, or would he need something else? The shetani bit down on his lip slightly, removing one of the matches from the pile. This was it. He was going to make a fire ... and burn them down to the ground along with this forest and everyone would be dead and no one would even know and--
Stop.
Lisandru struck the match against the package with little success, Lisandru frowned, attempting another strike of the match. It would take a few more of these attempts and another match before, finally, a flame formed.
Aha! Got it! Grinning at his success, Lisandru haphazardly tossed the match at the pile of wood before he nervously stopped himself once again.
And the fire went ablaze.
... Thankfully not setting them all on fire.

The rainbow colored Fae came trotting back with several huge leaves in her hand, enough she was sure, would make a nice roof for the happy happy hut. Ok so maybe it was like, six leaves, but it was all the girl could carry, even in her over enthusiastic state. Cut her some multi colored slack!
Setting them down, she peered over at Lisandru. Her eyes went wide and sparkly as she ooeed and aawed over the fire... and then suddenly... "FIIIRREE!! Oh goodness yesy yes, soon i can make the most extremely puppets!" she gleed, almost forgetting she was supposed to be using them to draw attention to the island... because moving smoke puppets would indeed draw some kind of attention right?
Clapping her hands and dancing a bit on the spot, she applauded the purple snakey guy. "Bravo Mister Lisandru Sir, bravo!" she exclaimed, giggling. "This is coming along nicely nice extremely, don't you think?"Seiana_ZI I like that he's actually deliberating over a typo.... makes it seem legit..... |D

Prisma was back? Lisandru lifted his eyes to look at her little selection of giant leaves. It wasn't necessarily a large selection, but it was certainly enough to get started. Besides, the leaves were rather large and they still looked rather healthy...
She seemed to be very excited about the fire. Lisandru winced at her screaming again.
"Yes, yes, it is fire..." He murmured, shaking his head. He caught the taipan on his shoulder hissing out some laughter at his murmuring, but he ignored his wild soul's rather blatant attempts to tease him. The most extremely puppets? Lisandru was entirely uncertain what she meant by puppets--what was she, some kind of fire dancer thing?--but he supposed he was probably about to find out.
Admittedly, it piqued his curiosity, perhaps in the same way that the--oddly fun--ride through a hole in the ground had been. Sometimes Lisandru wondered why his powers weren't that useful...
Just poisonous.
Despite all of what had happened, though, getting stranded on the shore with this ... slightly mad faerie woman... Prisma had a point.
It actually was going, uh... "nicely nice."
"Yeah, I think it is, actually," offered Lisandru, offering a smile for perhaps the first time that afternoon. "We might be able to manage this." ... Hopefully please Guardians above not permanently.

Prisma squealed inwardly some more before she picked up her staff and nuzzled the top of it, careful not to ruin anymore petals on the red roses wrapped around it. "Now you can see Puppets!" she laughed. They wouldn't be too grand, she'd need a rather large fire for bigger ones, but if she could collect enough smoke she could make one that was sure to attract some kind of attention if anyone was close to the island. Or on the island.
Holding up the end of her staff, she held it over the fire and in the steady building plume of smoke. She began to twirl it, as if she were mixing the tip into a vat of cotton candy, until a healthy cloud of smoke swirled around the end.
Taking her staff then, she held it up higher into the air, making a motion as if she were drawing something in the air, a straight squiggly line to be precise. The smoke drifted from the end of her staff, collecting and forming a best a realistic snake as smoke could. The grey whispy thing lifted its head once she was finished with its tail and began flicking a silver cloudy tongue in nhe direction of Lisandru before it slithered over and paused near his head, seeming all the world like a pet snake... only made of smoke and semi transparent.
Prisma delighted in herself and clapped her hands. "That one is for you extremely!" she smiled and then busied herself making other creatures as best as she could while the smoke kept rising. If they wanted to get seen from far away however, she'd probably need a little bit bigger fire... but it would due for now... plus she was having even more fun extremely!!

Alright, so now he was going to see what these supposed 'Puppets' were all about...
Lisandru leaned forward a bit, the taipan slithering up his arm to rest on his shoulders, admittedly curious about the Puppets too. When Lisandru looked over and gave him a small smirk, the taipan hissed unhappily at him. Apparently the taipan didn't like being caught in at least being interested in what this strange rainbowtastic faerie was up to.
What was she doing with her staff? That didn't seem to be a very good place to put her staff; the fire may have been small, but it was hot and he was certain it would probably make short work of it-- wait, she was dancing? Was she one of those fire dancers? Lisandru had heard of such things, but he had never seen one in action. That would be fascinating. How did people work with fire without getting burned?
Of course, Lisandru dried out a bit easier than most people if he was left in drier environments--like near a fire--too long. He itched his arm.
Oh, she was literally ... shaping the smoke.
So she was making puppets.
Literally.
Needless to say, the fact that she had literally meant what she was saying surprised Lisandru to some extent, but what surprised him even more was the fact that she made him a small snake much resembling the one that was currently curled up on his shoulders. "That's ... pretty cool. Thank you."
It was probably the nicest thing he had said to her this evening.
"These smoke puppets will probably be useful. If we can get a bigger fire you might be able to make a bigger signal..." quietly, he pondered this. Then, he shook his head. "For now, though, I think we should work on a functional shelter."

His compliment just made her day more than anything ever could have and she almost burst into tears from over happiness. "I am most glad extremely you like him! Your little snakey snake looked quite sad, I thought he could use a friend!!" she declared, rather loudly in fact... for near about the entire island to hear. Maybe she'd make one for the monkeys too and they'd come back!
Maybe! "Bigger fire means bigger animals yes, yes. But happy happy hut first!" she nodded in agreement, going back over to the leaves and picking up part of the pile. Obviously... she thought they should start with the roof.... right....? Because she was totally an expert on building happy happy huts... yeah.... "We have the roof! But.... oh... what about sides? The leafy leafs can't hang in mid air silly." she giggled, dropping the leaves and going to rummage through the stuff they took with them through the hole jump.
It would stand to reason.. in her mind... that they needed something large to make sides... of which they currently had none. This perplexed her greatly. "What do we make sidey sides with anyways...." she frowned.
OH! What if they built it in the tree! That would be sooo cool extremely!! ... Or maybe they could share a place with the monkeys!! OH yes! Ideas flowed through her non existent mind like rainbows after rain. She started making all kinds of weird noises, monkey squeaks, bird caws, twitter Woofsqueeks that sounded like nothing anyone had ever heard before. There was evne a few prisckles and gleeing in there somewhere....

Her reactions were certainly on the side of ... well ... extremely.
Well, Lisandru was glad she was happy, at least. If they could keep spirits in such an abysmal situation, they would probably be well-off. A good attitude was half the battle of winning, right?
At the remark that he was unhappy, the taipan made it rather clear that he was with yet another hiss. Lisandru couldn't help his laughter, reaching over to pet the snake on the head. This earned him a bite, which Lisandru hissed at, yanking his arm away and shaking it rather unhappily.
Thankfully, the bite wasn't enough to draw any blood or anything ... nor was it enough to poison him, all things considered--like his poison resistance.
Hm.
Sides ... what would be good for sides of their ... hut.
That was happy.
How could a hut be happy any--
"Why don't we see if there's some fallen branches around here? There's a lot of trees, so maybe we can stack those up and tie them together with something ... maybe some vines? That could get a solid side that could stand up, with the leaves on top..."

Prisma paused her most expert animal calling when he suggested branches. Brilliant! Yes! Why hadn't she thought of that?! "Branches! I will find some branches, yes yes!" she declared and with that, burst off into bushes again, disappearing for several moments, leaving Lisandru with precious precious alone time.
When she finally did manage to return after a while, she came back, arms filled to the brim with some branches, sticks and even twigs. She had them piled so much into her arms that she couldn't hardly walk and kept dropping some along the way. Though of course to her, it was all just one long continuous game.
Some rather long branches could be seen bobbing through the bushes before her brightly colored form even appeared. "I brought branches extremely!" she announced as she fumbled out of the bushes and into a great big heaping pile of sticks and wood and rainbow on the floor near him. "Owwie..."
Sitting up in the middle of a ring of branches, she rubbed her one elbow repeatedly. "Bad stick... that was not nice..." she frowned, turning her arm all manners of ways to try and view the damage. That was a certain damper on her mood if there ever was one. Pain was not fun.. or funny.. or happy. It was very bady bad and she did not like it.
But at least they had branches.....

Lisandru had to admit, her enthusiasm was useful.
It kept him from having to exert himself awful much.
The shetani lifted his bag back up that he took through the rabbit hole, slowly taking each individual item back out. Most of what he took from the shore were small trinkets, wood, and a pot to boil things in, but it was good to set everything out and get a good look at it. Perhaps there would be something useful in here...
By the time Prisma got back, Lisandru had managed to fashion a rudimentary fishing pole--would be useful if they could figure out a quick way to the ocean and back besides for her unreliable rabbit holes--and a small trap consisting of a stick holding up a few pieces of wood. That had been set nearby the site, and presumably nearby their future hut.
He wasn't that surprised by the way she fumbled towards them with all the sticks--though he was a bit surprised by what sounded like a snicker from his taipan--but he did have to admit it was new for her to express displeasure with her situation. Hmm...
"You okay?"
She was rubbing her elbow. Did she break it? He hoped she didn't break it. Could one break their elbow?-- If they could he certainly did not know how to handle it. When arms were broken Pae were supposed to keep them hanging and bent. He didn't know what one would do with an elbow, though. He would assume having that bent wouldn't help anything... Still, maybe getting it wrapped up would be a good idea.
"Perhaps you can tie one of the smaller leaves around that?" :Lisandru picked up a small leaf and held it a bit over the small fire for a few moments, warming it and hopefully washing it of any potential harmful items.
"Then we can get to work on the hut," he offered, handing her the leaf. He really didn't want to risk poisoning her on top of everything else...

Prisma had been trying to stick her tongue out and lick her elbow and she paused, tongue hanging sloppily from one side of her mouth as she looked at the leaf he offered. "Owh... Fank yew!" she giggled, talking with her tongue out made her sound silly... she liked this very much!
Keeping her tongue out... for... who knows why.. she took the leaf and wrapped it around her elbow and attempted to tie it together, but it wasn't working out so well. The warmth from it being heated felt good however. "Nawt bwoken... but scwatchy scwatched." she said and nodded, her tongue flopping like a limp fish out of water... which was now going dry....
That wasn't a pleasant feeling.
She sucked her tongue back up and began sloshing it around her mouth to try to wet it again. She got up and picked up some sticks and brought them over to him, still talking funny. "Stwicks for sidez!" she said and presented him with a few proudly.

She did indeed sound rather silly, and Lisandru couldn't help snorting at how she sounded with her tongue sticking so far out of her mouth.
Why was she talking like that, anyway?
Maybe the better question was, why was she continuing to talk like that? He could understand her, but admittedly it was giving her a small case of mush-mouth ... He shook his head, just glad to hear that the arm wasn't broken. The warmth of the leaf should probably burn out any possible infection, so that was good. He wouldn't have to worry about her then so long as she kept the leaf on and stopped talking like that...
Oh good, she was drawing her tongue back -- what was she doing -- was she swishing it around it wasn't water -- oh she was back to talking like that again.
Sigh.
Lisandru shook his head at the Priglish, taking the sticks offered despite. He was rather careful to touch them only with his gloved hands, holding them out a bit instead of pretty them to himself. He had no idea if he could poison wood somehow, but he didn't really want to risk it.
"Great. Let's start building this up."
With that, he marched over to a relatively flat area and ... started slamming the pointy ends of the sticks into the ground. Unless she had a better idea, he figured that worked well...
