Abel glanced back and saw that she wasn't doing anything. He glanced away and back again several times, growing more uncomfortable each time.
"Ahem... Clara? Jacket? ...You the one that's broke?"

Rath sat down in his usual seat behind his own desk and had his eye twitch slightly as some of his papers fell onto the ground from being pushed aside. He said nothing and followed along to what Marina had to say and at her conclusion, stared at her blankly for about a minute.
"...Is this really why you spent all that gold to buy me? To have an audience with me?" He furrowed his brows and stared for a couple of seconds before closing his eyes momentarily and sighing, slightly. "Very well. I find your findings hard to believe. Our reputation is known throughout the continent. When people from other worlds enter this one, they hear about us and come to Eyris to see us. When they arrive at the Guild Headquarters, here at the castle, they are set up with everything they need. Our goal is to acclimate people to their new life here. We register them as a guild member, which gives them access to exclusive jobs, along with five-hundred gold to help start them out, and a week's free stay at Fefga Manor, where Amelia is more than hospitable to them. However, beyond that, their membership also makes them part of something bigger than themselves. They will know that they are not alone. Every guild member knows what they're going through... and they will know that they have friends here. We did not choose our guild motto recklessly, after all."
And I have no clue what a kiosk is....

 Clara Risna -----------------------------------------
"Huh?" Clara was snapped out of her stupor when Abel started talking again. "Oh sorry!" She said nervously again, "I'll go get your jacket. Yeah and then we can have our date." She walked off nervously to go find his jacket, still blushing.

Marina stared at him, sheepishly, for a moment. "Well, uh, do you know how hard it is to get ten minutes with you? ********, I've seen people wait weeks to get a moment with you. This was the only way I could get a piece of your time!" She glanced away for a moment, pushing hair out of her face, and murmured under her breath. "Not like anybody's ever, like, interested in me or anything, anyway..."
She coughed loudly. "Anyway! Don't get me wrong, I've been around here for, what, five years now? You've turned this place the hell around, and I love what you've done! But I'm just saying, look, we in no way prepare these people for the reality of war, which we've been getting ourselves involved in a lot recently. s**t happens, yeah, but it's crushing the people who have been here for years, think about what it's doing to the people who just got here! Just, like, hear me out. Our efficiency in rehabilitation could be much better than it is now." She started to gather her papers back up, and she lowered her voice as she kept talking. "I mean, it's not the public's wondering if we'd even have had a siege if it weren't for the Guild or anything."

...Well. This is going to be interesting.
So she had managed to win a 'date' with Tibarn. The esteemed king of Hawks -- it was a bit of an empty title for now, seeing as they were no longer in Tellius, but he still had a great deal of experience and therefore had a lot of sway over the various groups of laguz in the area -- was going to be busy for a while. He needed to relocate his jacket, at least. Even if he never buttoned his shirt up, he'd at least need his jacket.
Which meant Annis had a few minutes to burn.
She handed Ganon the fee for her day with Tibarn, giving him a smile and a pat on the shoulder before fluttering off towards the side of the stage, where Abel was sitting. "Hey! Loverboy!"
She smiled, landing neatly next to him before sitting down on the next barrel. She rested her hands on her knees, leaning forward slightly as she looked over at her shirtless friend. "You feelin' okay? You look a lil' uncomfortable there." Annis shrugged, then rubbed a hand against her chin, looking around in the audience. "Clara won the date with ya, right? Where'd she run off to? Gotta powder her nose and reapply her lip color 'fore y'all get too hot and heavy?" She grinned, poking Abel in the cheek.
It was just too much fun to tease him.

”S-Sure, I wouldn’t mind going to the d-dance,” he stuttered while also turning red. His gaze looked down from embarrassment. “I-I’m not that much of a dancer though…”
”Well, hey, I’m not, either, so it’ll be fine!” She looked around for an empty table, clutching at her bag with both hands. ”I just thought, you know, it’d be fun, and-- and Ganon would probably never let me hear the end of it if I skipped it. And I don’t wanna go by myself…”
”Don’t worry, I’ll accompany you to the ball,” he stated once more letting out a small smile. He noticed she was looking for a table, so he also tried to look around to see if there was any table that was free. “Oh.” he said he pointed. “There’s a free table over there,” he pointed out.
”Oh, good.” Blossom smiled in relief. She paused, reaching her hand briefly to Oujay’s, then dropped it to her side again before nervously scuttling towards the table. Even so, she took care to match Oujay’s pace, and only sat down after he did, placing her bag in her lap. ”The tea is all real good, and though I don’t think anything I’ve baked is still for sale, I like getting the cake if I get something to eat here,” she commented, smiling. ”Lyre’s really good at making tea. Sandwiches, too.”
Oujay, thinking that he was starting to calm down, quickly turned red again as Blossom grabbed his hand suddenly. Eventually they made it to the table and he took his seat, totally forgetting to be a gentleman and getting Blossom’s seat for her. “Do you work here?” he asked as she mentioned her own baked goods.
Blossom nodded, brushing her hair from her face. ”Yeah.” she watched a waitress pass by, delivering some coffee and snacks to a table a ways away from them. ”Ganon told me not to come in today, though. He really wanted me to get involved in this, I guess.” She removed her napkin from the table, put her bag on the floor between her feet, and put her napkin nervously in her lap. ”I mean, I’m not complaining…”

When they reached the front of the dress shop, Tiki let go of Isadora's hand and ran to the window. She pressed her hands against it and looked within. There we so many colors, so many things that sparkled, glistened, and glimmered, so many different places to look! It looked like most of these were for grown-ups. Were there any that would fit her? Did they have flowers to put in her hair? How hard could it be to pick out something pretty and wear it?
She looked back at Isadora. "You know, I've tried on dresses before." She said, sounding a bit prouder. "But I never got to wear any of them. I, umm... I came here before I could get to go to anything like a dance, so I'll still need help anyway."

Sister Victoria
Victoria joined Ephraim shortly after the auction was over. She'd picked out something a little more regal for her very special day. She didn't expect it to become anything more than a one-day date, but she wanted the day to be as wonderful as possible. She grinned as she looked at a rather fancy looking flier.
"There's going to be a ball tonight. We're going to dance, aren't we?" Victoria asked Ephraim. Of course, there wasn't a question. The sparkle in her eye showed that the bishop wanted to dance no matter what. Having a noble-looking partner was an added plus.

Isadora let out a smile as she watched the manakete ran to the window of the dress shop and looked at the dresses inside. She couldn't help but felt that Tiki was like a little child who came across a candy shop. She wondered what the manakete was thinking as the paladin stood next to her and looked through the window.
Oh dear, they sure brought so many dresses than what they had before. Perhaps it was because of the ball that King James was hosting that had the shop filled with dresses. But would she be able to find a dress fit for her?
Just then, she heard Tiki spoke. What? She had tried dresses, but never went to a ball before? Judging by what Tiki said, it sounded like there was a ball that Tiki was about to go before coming to Learania. She wasn't sure what the ball was about, nor when did the ball begin. Although it sounded kind of sad that Tiki wouldn't be able to go to the ball in her world, she couldn't help but smile when the manakete asked to help her pick a dress. She almost nearly forgot that they had a ball to attend.
"Sure, I"ll help you pick a dress." Isadora spoke sincerely as she walked toward the door of the shop. "Let's hope the dress you like have the color you like to wear too. After all, you don't want to enter the ball with a polka-dot dress."

Derrin stomped from the back room of the hostess clubs kitchen, giving the room a scowl. "Lazy bastards... should be able to get their own damn food" he thought darkly, recognizing that it was stupid idea but still enjoying the picture of it.
Today was Valentines day, and due to a Cloak mission running longer then expected, he'd arrived in town late last night. Too late to put his plan of asking Blossom out into action... now what the hell was he going to do with 40 roses.
Grouchily he slammed down a cup of coffee on one of his tables. "Here's your coffee" he grumbled at the couple sitting there, before storming off to the kitchen again to pick up his other tables order.
"At least I'm not the only one alone today... there's probably plenty of men and women who have to spend Valentines day alone..." as he picked up the tray of food he turned and stopped for a minute surveying the room. There wasn't a single person sitting on their own in the whole Club.
"... Goddammit."
With a grunt of annoyance Derrin started towards the table the food was meant for, tragically however the food would never reach the table, because the next pair in through the door caused him to drop his tray sending broken cookery and food all over the floor.
"What the hell is Blossom doing here today, and who the hell is that?!"
He stared until he saw she was about to look his way, and turned away with a blush, retrieving a broom and dustpan to clean up his mess. When he was finished cleaning the mess and delivering a new tray of food to the table who'd had theirs dropped, Derrin saw that they had sat down and were ready to have their order taken.
He also noticed they were sitting in his section.
"s**t."
Trying very, hard to turn his scowl into a friendly smile and looking like an escaped mental patient in the attempt Derrin approached the pair.
"Hello, my name is Derrin, welcome to the Hostess Club. Are you ready to order miss?" he said with his back turned to Oujay, leaning forwards towards Blossom.

Ganon was plucking out quiet, relaxing chords on his guitar when Derrin came stomping out. He just heaved a heavy sigh, shaking his head. How that boy managed to walk home with any tips at all stunned the reptile, but it wasn't his job to ask; he owned the building and played the music. Aruna and Loch handled the customers and employees, and Ganon liked it that way!
He slowly transitioned into a new song, a little slower than the previous one, and looked up again only for his tail to snap out straight behind himself, hands freezing mid-strum. Oh gods, Derrin was beelining for Blossom and her date. No no no, his crush on Blossom was enough of a problem, but if he was going to interrupt her date, just when she was starting to be social again...
He looked around for Aruna or Loch, frantically gesturing in Derrin's direction. Get him away from her, send him to another table!
Tibarn, meanwhile, was busy with the belt around his longcoat, and with a bit of fiddling finished fastening the overlarge buckle before turning to Annis. "Hey, now," he said, ruffling her hair. "Don't tease the poor boy. Leave that to his date." He flashed Abel a grin, then spread his wings sharply and folded them again, stretching slowly and popping his back. "Alright, Annis. You got me for a day. You got any plans for what that fifty grand is gonna get you?"

Loch had momentarily come out from his office to get a drink of water. The office was a bit stifling, both in temperature and in air circulation. As he stood by the drink cooling units, he heard a bit of commotion in his restaurant. He didn't like commotion in his restaurant. Ganon was in his area, providing a casual atmosphere with serene tunes, the calming tones wafting through the air, and Loch stepped over to the table, where he noted Blossom taking Oujay out on their casual bachelor date.
Ah, the bachelor date. Annis had tried to get him to participate in that. Go on, play along, she'd asked. Take your shirt off, she said. It'll be fun, she said. Unfortunately, Loch had been super busy and did not care to spend the time to have just a little fun. He was kind of stuffy that way. He was perfectly okay with Annis playing, though. It was good for the sake of the guild, and the money went towards restoration. He'd even graciously given Blossom the day off to participate!
But this was going to be a problem. Derrin was intervening and this was going to not end well. So Loch, returning Ganon's nod, quickly set his glass down and dashed over to the couple, all but shoving Derrin out of the way. "Excuse me, Derrin," he said, nodding to the boy and his great grey wings blocking his sight of Blossom, "Could you make yourself helpful to the couple over there?" He pointed at a couple in the far corner away. "I will take care of Blossom and her date." He shifted his attention to the two. "May we start with a drink?"

"Loch and Ganon really were nice to give me today off for this," Blossom mused, smiling. "I'm really lucky they run this place, I think. It's such a nice, safe place for people to come, beorc and laguz alike, and they run the place so well and it's always felt so welcoming and inviting no matter the season." She looked around at the dining area, smiling a little bit. She'd helped put up some of the candles, too, that were lit along the walls to give everything a faint pink glow. (With a stepladder. What, you think she could reach up there by herself?) "They're really wonderful people. It's a good thing they... that they..." She trailed off, as if sensing an approaching storm, and the hair on the back of her neck rose. "Do you feel s--""Hello, my name is Derrin, welcome to the Hostess Club. Are you ready to order, miss?"Blossom looked up at Derrin, eyes widening as she shrank back instinctively. With the whites of his eyes clearly visible, a strained, toothy smile stretched uncomfortably across his face, and his posture leaning across the table and towards her, Oujay was completely blocked from view, and blocked away from her at all. "U-Um--" Blossom scooted away a little bit, biting her lower lip as she nervously glanced in Oujay's direction. "I-I'm not sure if-- m-maybe y--""Excuse me, Derrin. Could you make yourself helpful to the couple over there? I will take care of Blossom and her date."Blossom relaxed and shifted back in her seat, smiling gratefully up at Loch as she smoothed her hair away from her face. "H-Hello, sir," she managed out, then cleared her throat as she tried to bring her heart rate back down to normal. What had gotten into Derrin...? She glanced warily in his direction before looking back at the grey Heron with a more comfortable smile. "I think, um-- I think I'd like some black tea, please, with some cream. I'm not sure what-- Oujay, what do you want?" She looked over at him curiously.

How in the world did Ephraim get himself caught up in all this mes---Oh...Right..he was auctioned off as a price for the Host club or something like that. His memory was a little hazy.
In any case, his victor was the one and only Miss Victoria. At least it was her and not...Innes....Good lord. Having to explain the entire situation to that forsaken prince was like talking to a wall...only the wall would probably listen. It took the lancer almots 5 hours to convince the Frelian prince that he was NOT being sold off to slavery!
His head hurt just thinking about it.
Ephraim didn't have to wait long before his bid winner arrived. My, that was a beautiful dress she was wearing. Would match well with the formal suit he was currently wearing, though it wasn't anything TOO fancy.
The bishop asked if they were going to the ball. Well to be perfectly honest, Ephraim didn't really PLAN anything in particular. Whatever they did the day was going to be the lady's wish. He simply cracked her a smile and offered her his arm.
'Your wish is my command, my lady" This entire day was dedicated to her of course. Let's make her feel special "Why don't we pass the time before the actual ball? Perhaps we might dine somewhere? Anything pique your interests?"
