Caught with the lariat, the duo fell to the mat and Alastor laid there for a moment surprised at the transactions of events.
He certainly didn't expect Omega to recover that quickly let alone the lariat, nonetheless it hit.
It hit hard, but he suspected that it took more out of Omega than him.

Omega lied there on the ground next to Alastor, "You left when we needed you the most, you damned b*****d." he muttered out angrily towards Alastor, clearly still bitter that The Noble Jaguar left those many years ago, to be fair though he didn't have much choice as he was beaten down pretty badly. Still Omega held him solely responsible for his own disappearance and the decline of their once tag team.

"I...Had...Students..' the Nobel Jaguar yelled out as he attempted to headbutt Omega while they were both laying on the mat.
Storyline wise, Alastor was jumped backstage and 'injured' thus unable to compete, but reality he had students that needed him in his 'Jaguar Arts School'

The Headbutt connected and caused more rattling in the head of Omega then he really needed, he attempted to retaliate with one of his own hoping it'd hurt Alastor more then it did him "We.....were.....partners!" Omega barked as he went for his Headbutt attempt

Rattling his head, Alastor shook off Omega's headbutt it hurt but the adrenaline kicked in to him.
'You....Lost...The..Way..' he cried out and attempted to fake out Omega with a headbutt but would go for a jab to the throat.

Omega had a retort planned for what Alastor had told him, not a witty one as he had been making for a while but a simple one, but before he could say it he got jabbed in the throat! He rolled away from Alastor clutching his throat coughing a bit as his trachea had been assaulted from The Noble Jaguar. He had to regroup and start mounting some kind of comeback otherwise he's going to get beat down even harder then he already has been.

Alastor kip upped to his feet and stared coldly at his former partner.
"The Thundering Jaguar... My strikes will rain a storm from the clouds and you'll feel heavens divine punishment...'

"Spare us the divine crap Alastor, we've served these so called gods. All they were was false idols." he spoke to his former partners new found belief, he tried to stand up but only managed to get to his knees. He looked at Alastor returning his cold glare as he motioned for Alastor to charge at him.

Alastor merely sneered 'Is that why you desperately cling to them? Because they false idols? You call them false
yet you need them... Me? I do not serve them, they are not my masters. The divine punishment I speak of is from my own resolve...'
He spoke sternly. 'I need not rely on others to get me to top, I do it myself'

'I'm still humble but I teach you lesson abut humility first...' as the now newly cristened 'Thundering Jaguar' attempted a low drop kick
to Omega.

Omega sidestepped to avoid the Dropkick to his knee and decided to return the favor in kind. He would wait for Alastor to get to a kneeling position before going for an attempt at a soccer style Penalty Kick to Alastor's face. He wanted to make Alastor feel some pain now that they were really getting into it.

Crashing and burning into the mat, Alastor got up slowly to a vertical base only to be kicked to the mat.
Doing a corkscrew spin to show how much the move hurt or to oversell it for the fans he flipped to the mat hard arching his back up in pain

Omega looked down at Alastor and grinned evilly behind his mask, the fans had groaned as they saw the impact and even heard it loud enough. He finally had some momentum going and he planned on keeping it that way, he walked over to The Thundering Jaguar's head and attempted to drive his knee directly under the right eye of Alastor. Now mind you getting the exact location he wanted was going to be difficult but hey he was going to get as close as he could.

Alastor's eyes shot open as Omega came crashing down, lifting his arms up he caught the knee of him holding it in place.
There was a stand still with the fallen Jaguar holding the Masked merc's knee.
Who would falter first? Would Alastor's arms give out?
Would Omega back off and do something else, would Alastor do a sneak attack?
These thoughts went into the minds of the fans and possibly more.
