"One thousand years is a lot of time..." was Ellie's response to the Squire before she firmly patted one of his shoulders upon the leathery armor where no cat sat. He could protest all he wanted, but things happened.
Slipping to his other shoulder, the tomboy scooped up the cat under the stomach and rather casually walked over to the invader on her couch. Planting the round animal upon Zia's head, she mentioned "...You guys need t'stop doin' this sh*t... seriously... gettin' old..." With a partial grumble, she added "...I'm goin' into the garage... when I get back, ya both better be gone..."
Ellie was pretty sure her ultimatum was going to fall upon deaf ears, but at least she tried. With that, she shook her head and turned towards a hallway near the stairs. "...Dude... Connolly... ya comin'?"

"No."
"Yeah, hold on."
Too bad Connolly applied to two people in the room, and Zia blatantly didn't seem to care as she stretched and languished on the couch again, unafraid of Ellie's threat.
Noah went through a few premature motions as if he was going to attempt some sort of correction or reprimand but he abandoned the prospect quickly. Even he knew the entire act and process was futile. Instead he just followed Ellie out to the garage and hoped it would all go away soon.
