He gave one quick peck before rising up, wincing at his sore back, and then taking it a bit more slowly out of the tub. He grabbed some fluffy towels from the cabinet, and spreading one open wide, threw it over Billy''s head to playfully ruffle up his usually very-well maintained hair.
Once they were all dried off and dressed in their night attire, Ladon moved to sit on the kitchen, grabbing his cell phone, and was glad that the heater had kicked in. "It's starting to fell like fall." He said, glancing at the window that gave a light rattle. "If it keeps raining, I'll barely be able to go out as much." A general with an umbrella wasn't that intimidating.
But enough about work.
Turning, he patted the couch. "Soon I'll be able to take out the big blanket." The thick one that had a bit of weight, that was nice to snuggle under and made you never want to leave. It made mornings with Billy even harder to end by getting out of bed.

"Staying in isn't all that bad." Even if it did mean they had to work harder when they were out to meet quota. But, when one thought about how seldom Billy had nights where he wasn't either working or working... Sometimes a night in was needed. And with the weather getting cooler, it wasn't like there were many out and about anyway. The colder it got, the more civiliains and senshi tended to stay in. of course, Billy could come up with a thousand justifications for staying home if he really needed to. Either way, warm or cold weather, Billy's pajamas were never more than a pair of lose-fitting pajama pants that always seemed to hang dastardly about his hips, threatening to fall with any movement, yet never doing so. No one could deny that Billy was a tease. But this time, knowing Ladon was in no condition to be teased, he at least relented to a shirt as well, for what little good it did, and Billy elected to leave it unbuttoned. Decency and Billy were always a half-assed thing. In all truth this was probably even more frustrating. Billy had no qualms about answering the door like that whenever their food would arrive. Although Ladon might. Billy wasn't quite sure yet just what Ladon's jealousy, or at the very least degree of possessiveness, was like. "So, food... I'm hungry," he said, plopping down beside Ladon on the couch.

He flipped through his phone to find the number, glancing over at the open shirt that Billy wore and then back at his phone. "No...it's not bad. I probably should stay home a bit more often." It was hard to work against his habit of always being out at night, but he had made the Negaverse his life and such a primary focus in his life before that he felt like he was letting his team, the planet Earth, down if he just laid around at home.
Yet, as much as the war and winning was important, he had to remember he had someone else to fight for and who deserved his attention. Maybe he could cut back, and spend certain nights at home, especially the ones where Billy was off work.
"I'll cut back." He said, his tone lower than before.
Lifting the phone to his ear, he started to take down their order, a pasta alfredo dish for Billy and roast beef and mash potatoes for Ladon. They would provide the dinner rolls for free, which he always liked. Once the order was placed, he hanged up, set the phone down, and slide over to lean against Billy. "Once it gets cold, you won't be able to walk around with your shirt open without catching a cold." He said, tugging at the open shirt and looking down. There was still those scars, and he against felt the guilt about seeing them. These were the scars that showed to what length Billy would go for him. No ring was needed for this true sign of devotion.
"Do you want something to drink?" He said, eager to let Billy relax for the rest of the night.

"Hasn't stopped me before," Billy said in reference to the shirt. "Unless this is just simply too much sexy for you to handle," he joked. As for his scar, well, it simply added character. It wasn't as if they both didn't have their fair share. "I'll hold off on a drink until the food arrives." with that, he simply pulled Ladon over to his lap, circling his arms around him, and burrying his face into Ladon's neck, as if he were some over sized stuffed animal. Cuddles - Billy was good at them.

Curled up in Billy's lap, he held to the arms that wrapped around them, holding his hands over Billy's and bring them up to kiss the back of one. "I don't know. I've already seen you naked." He said, turning his head to glance at Billy from the corner of his good eye. "I guess this means I'm answering the door."
He decided he'd also hold off on a drink, mainly because he was comfortable. "I wish I could wear you like a warm sweater all day." He leaned back against him, his head resting on Billy's shoulder. "You're warm." Comfortable. Safe. Warm. He felt at ease, his back didn't even bother him as much, and he knew that he could always fall asleep easily in his arms. "I wish you didn't have to work and could just stay here with me all day every day." He wished he could win the lottery and pamper Billy. "If you won the lottery, what would be the first things you bought?

"I'll get the door. You're the one that had a building fall on you, or whatever." As for winning the lottery, well.... "I'd get us the house like we talked about, some nice furniture, we'd get some nice new clothes, a proper cage for Sammy, I'd go to school and save the rest. Then when I'm a psychiatrist we'd have even more money, and could live even more comfortably and have nice vacations." At least the house they could do..soon hopefully. His plan he had gone over a million times, and he'd talked to his connections. Things would go smoothly, he had no doubt. "When I'm off we should go house hunting. And stop by the shelter to look at dogs. I think I have a day off in a couple of days..." He'd have to look at his schedule again. Then there was a knock at the door - must have been their food. Billy stood, lifting Ladon up and sitting him back down again where he'd once been sitting before sauntering over to the door.

While Ladon would have just laid back, he looked up at Billy (more or less watching him go), before he remembered that Billy had pants that looked ready to fall off and an open shirt. Having a guy open your door like that was....pretty suggestive. Either their delivery person would be uncomfortable or worse - not uncomfortable.
Rising, Ladon walked quickly and held out his hands to stop Billy. "I'm sore, not broken. I can handle a walk to the door. Sit down." He told him, which turned out to sound more like a order than he meant it to.
Without giving Billy the chance, he took the money for the food and went to the door. Being in his pajamas was at least much more modest than what Billy was wearing. The delivery guy just rattled the numbers, pausing to look at Ladon, before handing off the plastic bag where two tin containers, not and wafting with the smell of alfredo and roast beef gravy were stacked. A small bag with dinner rolls was wrapped up on top. Paying the guy, Ladon shut the door, and walked over to set the containers on the table. "I'll get drinks. You go and sit."

"Alright then," Billy said, and chuckled a bit, before sitting back down on the couch, seeming rather smug, if not completely happy with himself. he really did like a riled Ladon. And Billy was good at finding ways to do just that. And he had to comment on it; "You're so cute when you're like that. I just can't help but frustrate you." It was all in good fun, after all.

"Like what?" He asked, walking over and setting their drinks down before sitting down next to Billy, handing him a napkin, and then taking out their dinner containers. He opened the bag with the hot dinner rolls and already tore it open, watching the little wisp of steam rise.
"I don't want guys at our door thinking you're trying to seduce them or something. We have those hookers down the street. You're not them." He bite into his roll, clearly happy, before looking over at Billy. Covering his mouth since he was still chewing, he continued. "You should dress more when you meet people."

"It's our own dwelling - I could open the door butt-naked if I wanted to." Billy grinned, teasing. "After all, I don't exactly expect to 'meet people' when I'm sitting in my own home. Besides, people will think what they want. We both know the only one getting a piece of this is you," he said, taking a bite of his food. "But you're just so hot when you're taking charge, anyway. So maybe I'll answer the door half-naked more often. Or something." there was a sly grin on his face.

Ladon just frowned, narrowing his eyes at Billy in a way that said he better not do just that or else. "You better not answer the door even remotely naked, or else I'll tear that dumb cowboy hat you wear to pieces and then move on to the pony shirt."
He was not kidding.
Ladon then took his fork and took a piece of roast beef and popped it in his mouth.

He just grinned more, "I prefer something more corporal by way of punishment than that." Of course, Billy's hat got threatened on a daily basis anyhow, so he didn't take the threat to heart. "What about a**-less chaps? Not saying I own a pair, but..." The teasing never seemed to end. Billy enjoyed it. It made the meal all that much better.

Ladon nearly choked when he was eating, and covered his mouth in order to swallow the mouthful he had without spitting it out. When he was sure he was able, he tried not to laugh. "Do people even buy those? You are not going around in a**-less chaps. You may be a cowboy, but you are not showing your..." He could say it. They were indoors in their own after all. "...a** to everyone."

"I'm sure some people do," he laughed, "And I'm sure their boyfriends find it very convenient. You know what they say - save a horse, ride a cowboy."
new game: How many shades of red could Ladon turn.
Billy really didn't seem to have much shame. Granted he had a lewd sense of humor anyway. Billy continued to casually eat his dinner, watching poor Ladon handle the subject at hand.

Ladon covered his mouth again as he was trying to eat, and reached out with his other hand to shove Billy away. When he was able to talk again, he just huffed at him. "Will you stop. You're not allowed to get a**-chaps. I'm the only person that gets to see that. You go showing your a** to people and there are going to be a lot more starseeds delivered to HQ."
He reached out and got something to drink. "..and I'll blame you for all the bodies."
