Hayes had wandered into the gym to possibly check out the sparring area when the humanbots caught his interest. Since he'd taken gym class outside the boil seemed to be slightly intrigued by the students odd and quirky companions. He walked himself over to the signup area and signed the waiver form for one of his own. Hayes didn't seem too concerned with breaking the humanbot which could be a coin toss in terms of if that was a good thing or not. Apparently he was going to be responsible for something called a Hipster Humanbot. The boil took a moment to inspect it and make sure should they get separated he'd know what his had looked like. . . okay, so he wouldn't remember what it looked like especially since he was going to just be returning it soon anyways.
The Hipster bot didn't seem to care much about Hayes either and instead felt the need to inform the boil just how mainstream his fellow students were. Hayes wasn't sure what the hipsterbot was talking about but did what he usually did, shrugged it off and continued on. At least the bot seemed to have enough sense to follow him because he hadn't bothered to even suggest to the bot that it follow him. "Shopping at thrift stores was my thing, then that song came out." The humanbot commented as the two walked out of the gym. "You walk loud." Hayes simply responded, not bothering to think more about his choice of words. The humanbot looked a little shocked. At least, the small upraised eyebrow seemed to be a sign of shock. It seemed like this Ghost boil had at least one thing in common with his bot. Maybe that wasn't a good thing.

'Guest class? Guest speaker?' An excuse to stay out of regular classes and maybe have some fun? Count Ahm in! It wasn't that he didn't care about the information available on humans - they were necessary, after all - but...well, he just wasn't as into the whole "understanding humans" as some of his classmates were. Even so, he planned on giving the DETH hosted class exercise a shot (as previously mentioned, it could be Jack-all fun!) He even tried to convince Nahm to do it too, knowing that his twin wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to screw off instead of being serious. If nothing else, his sibling would have to deal with his Humanbot...and that would probably make him want to run back to the gym and get one for himself.
Ahm slunk into the gymnasium, hands buried deep into his pockets, tail wrapped and thumping against his jeans. All that could be seen of his facial features were two glowing eyes and a glint of teeth; the rest was shrouded in ever present shadows, wrapped and cloaked in darkness as they should be. There was a mini-pet like creature that seemed to be the Professor, Ahm liked it immediately and snagged one of the pamphlets as he'd been told before moving away so the next boil or ghoul could get one too; it looked pretty boring, but that was okay. Kind of cool to know that if he scared a human enough it's heart would explode. That was cool. Very cool. He wanted to see that happen, very very badly, but according to the information in the pamphlet, he was not supposed to do that. Actually, the "rules" were that he had to take "care" of his Humanbot...make it "happy" (how the Jacking-heck was he supposed to do that?) and keep it from exploding. Hmph, not nearly so fun as he thought...but there was still a chance of entertainment, so he decided to keep going.
With a haunted pen pulled from his bag, Ahm signed the waiver and stepped into the clanking crowd of mannikins to find his new "companion"...the Grue was starting to mumble when he was pointed to a Humanbot with it's wooden face painted white and with heavy black and purple make-up. It had a wild wig of black, scraggly hair that hid one of the black-ringed eyes. As Ahm stepped over to the Humanbot in heavily ruffled black shirt, pleather pants with a Jacking skirt of lacey, pitch ruffles on half it's hips and black heeled boots. It looked sort of like those Reaper kids,but even more...uh...ridiculously froofy.
"Guess you're coming with me." Ahm gave his Humanbot another look-over, mentally kicking whatever demon had paired him with this...thing while also mentally thanking whatever demon did it too - a gothic Humanbot!? There could be so much fun had with it!
The Humanbot glared sullenly at the Grue, crossing it's arms over it's chest and trying to slouch further (if that were possible). "...."
"I'm Ahm. Let's get going before standing here makes you explode or something equally lame."
"I want to be alone, in the dark...with my monkey." There was a pause, then it seemed to correct itself. "With my music."
Ahm rolled his eyes and sighed but quickly led his new 'pet project' out of the gym and back to the dorms, so that he could show Nahm just what he'd gotten himself into. As he walked, the Humanbot followed, quietly muttering about the cruel world, the "red" and - occasionally - about someone's outfit. Ahm was not going to stop until he was back in his room, where he could shove the damned thing into the darkness and figure out what to do with it to get credit!
