Fortunately they weren't followed. Unfortunately, a quilava jumped out from behind some rocks and lets out a yawn before fire shot out of his back. He gave a glare at the explorers, unhappy that he was awoken by the running. The fire grew before it finally engulfed the pokemon.
Violet braced herself for the inevitable flame wheel attack.

The quilava launched himself forward and... Violet just stepped to the side quickly and the other rolled right into the walls of the passageway.

Quan was surprised when he found and ice covered rock over near where the quilava had been sleeping. "Wonder how it manged not to melt?" He said showing the rock to Violet.

It wasn't another rock but a vile of water was still a good find. "Wonder if it was lost by one of the other explorers or drinking water of the pokemon who live here."

Violet suddenly came to a halt once she spots a quilava sleeping near the exit of the room. The tepig attempts to get by without waking it up...

The quilava stretched out and opened his eyes. He looked at Violet and Quan with detached interest before getting up and moving somewhere else. The quilava obviously thought the two were a waste of time to deal with.
