Jubilee picked up a Vial of Wate rin the next rock. "Hm, do you think that the Vial of Smoke is just evaporate water-- wait..." Jubilee's face twisted in thought as she tried to figure out the origin of the smoke.

As Naka looked up to see where he was going, he spotted another rock in the passage. This one was a very noticeable shade of red though. "Oh, this is kind of pretty!" he said, scooping it up.

That made Naka think. "Huh, good question. Maybe someone dropped it? Or just threw it aside. A lot of people don't seem to appreciate the value of a good stick." He shook his head at their folly and went back to using his own stick to poke around.

As they headed down the passage, another Slugma oozed into view. When it spotted the explorers, it paused to stare at them.

Naka stared back for a second before saying, "Um, would you mind moving aside so we could get by, please." The Slugma didn't seem to react for a while, just sat there staring wordlessly. Naka was starting to get uncomfortable when the Slugma finally turned and continued in the direction it had been going in the first place. As it oozed away Naka whispered to Jubilee, "Is it just me, or are the Slugmas here a little bit rude?"

A zubat soon came swooping down and immediately latched onto Jubilee's stick. It tilted its head from side to side quickly and screeched here in there in order to identify what was in front of it. Jubilee giggled again, "Hello there!" she greeted.

The zubat soon lost interest and hopped onto Jubilee's head before flying back up into the air, leaving the togepi a bit dazed.

After the Zubat's off behavior, Naka asked his buddy, "Hey, are you OK?" He also held his stick close in case any other Zubats were around who might want to grab onto it.

During some point of her waddling, Jubilee started to swing her stick from side to side to an imaginary beat. She stopped paying attention to her surroundings and accidentally smacked a zubat flying by. The togepi waddled over to the injured pokemon, "Oops, sorry! Are you hurt?"
