Rep didn't cower or flinch the way his other self might have. He stayed level and defiant in the face of discovery. "This hoard of junk is a hazard." he said levelly.
"As for what we are doing, me and Jerry boy here were going to have a nice refreshing drinkydink."

"If only you could convince your counterpart of that," Jordan replied dryly. He gave Jerry a sharp look, then transferred it to Rep. "I sure hope you've got enough to share with the class," he said, and stepped out into the hall, closing the door behind him.

"I w-was just... keeping an eye on him," Jerry babbled quickly, balancing his full pockets as he scooped up his fallen possessions before they were infected by whatever was growing on Rep's floor.
He dodged out of hte room before the smell or Jordan killed him.

Maybe there was some remnant fraction of his Jordan in this particular individual in front of him. Harrison had certainly gotten the worse deal in this world, thinking he was sixteen and some kind of..not human thing. Jordan though felt closer to what he knew, and the joining them both was either a very cunning upping of the ante or a statement he didn't half mind joining in.
Maybe both of them combined could "convince" Jerry to see things the correct way.
"Aye. And being a complete ******** prude." he snorted. "He's a bit of a coward."

Jordan was just going to ignore the definite confirmation of the hoard and the state it was in. For now. There would be words later. Currently, though, he had other things to worry about. Jerry got a skeptical look. "I appreciate your willingness to help a friend," Jordan said.
He arched an eyebrow at Rep. "I wouldn't say he was a coward," he replied. "He's been known to be more likely to fling himself bodily into dangerous situations."

"I am NOT a coward," Jerry huffed, uke and bowl safely under his elbows as he straightened his bottle-weighted coat. "Just 'cause I don't want to...." He cleared his throat, but was relieved the worst he had gotten was a glare from Jordan. "I'm glad you're here, ahahaha. He's er... been on my case."

"Well he's a ******** coward when it comes to what I wanted from him." he purred. "I told him I was restless as ******** and he's single so." He shrugged. "Figured why not. But he's playing hard to get, making me work for it. Which is fine."
He gave Jerry a grin. "Not half as much as I'd like to be."

"No," Jordan said, his voice dropping to a flat almost-growl. "He's just being smart about it. The other me might've been willing to share, but I'm not. Minimizing collateral damage is always best, right, Jerry?"
He turned, took a handful of Rep's shirt, and shoved him swiftly back against the wall. "So if you don't ******** cut that out, Your Highness, you're not getting any until we figure out how to get you back home and get my version of you back."

"Thank you!" Jerry gave a sigh of relief, but jumped as Jordan suddenly thrust Rep against the wall, his face going red at the mention of sharing. "I tried to explain it to him in terms he could understand but, ah... Well I didn't want to hurt him. I told him you wouldn't like it."

Rep couldn't imagine why this Jordan wasn't willing to share him, it was hard to get his head around, how did he get anything done while competing with his royal libido? There was a lot of love to give and it was positively criminal to have there be times of the day where he would have to squander his talent.
He wasn't expecting to be shoved against the wall, having already marked down Jordan as somewhat of a pushover simply by virtue of being softer around the edges than his blue half. It meant he was left wide eyed gawking at him for a few moments before the threat sunk in.
"I'm not getting any anyway. That's why I'm even ******** chasing him up. You could have helped. I don't see your ******** problem, there's plenty to go around."

"You started hitting on everyone around you without so much as a look at me," Jordan growled, "which, by the way, I don't appreciate in the least. So excuse me for not feeling much like being obliging. Anyway, everyone here knows that we don't share you, which means that anyone who considered it would have two obstacles to deal with, and this is not a large community. So ******** stop pissing me off and I might be in a more receptive mood." He grinned, an expression that had more tooth than humor. "And remember who pulled you out of that jail cell and got all the charges dropped, Reid."
He let go, stepped back, and straightened his coat in a calm, deliberate motion. "Sorry about that, Jerry. Where are we headed?"

Jerry froze as Rep gushed with whatever it was the Blue Queen felt compelled to babble, backing away several paces before relaxing as Jordan gave his peace.
For a moment, he was almost back in Vegas, hovering by for an order while the Bosses all sorted themselves out. Not his business.
Thank God for Jordan. He had done his best.
"I told you so," He sang under his breath. "Oh, ah... Yeah I wasn't sure. I suppose we could hang outside somewhere. Not much light and the fog defuses the moon though..."

Rep was about to protest that it was because he'd dismissed Jordan immediately as not an actual threat, but his protests were cut short by the very abrupt tone the other man took with him, tone which built up speed until he could have been looking straight at the Jordan. His Jordan.
He was left leaning against the wall in stunned silence as he was let go. Had he just witnessed what he thought? It was enough to jar him out of his stride for just a moment. Even being called Reid.
He looked up at Jordan from his slouch as he took charge. Outside. That was acceptable.
"How.. how do you ******** know that?" he asked, teetering after them both.

"Outside sounds good," Jordan agreed. "We'll have to keep an eye out for shadowlings, but we can handle that."
He glanced back at Rep before starting down the hall, giving him an opaque, slitted look. "I remember it," he answered obliquely.

"Oh yeah... them," Jerry murmured but cleared his throat, "I can take those." He fell behind them as the three walked, risking a peek at the bottle in his pocket. Was that really absinthe? Like... actual old-school absinthe? How on Earth had Rep gotten it?
"I tried to explain it to him," He called ahead. "But he didn't believe me. Or just was too thick to get it."
