placed intricately across the diary's front,
the key around her neck.
The diary itself lies in a locked box within her closet,
that key also dangling from her neck.
It sits on the floor in the back beneath her finest gowns,
the ones from her time as a Cordova.

This was the plan, before Michael's Mistress gave birth to a little illegitimate girl. Her love for her soon to be, days soon to be, husband was more than this betrayal and the embarrassment of backing out of a wedding due to such a cause kept her feet planted firmly at the alter. After the vows were spoken and all was said and done, the little girls existence came into the open. The baby was dubbed Marie Crystal Young in a failed attempt to bond the girl with Anna. Yet it wasn't on'y the newly wed Mrs Young who felt the blacklash of Michael's infidelity, the entire Cordova Line felt it a mark against them. Upon finding out that Anna knew of this before the wedding, they refused pity upon her and cut her names from their 'clean' records.
Now she is the mother to 2 boys and the supposed mother to that same little girl who cost her everything. While on the outside Anna seems like a gentle sweet being, she is actually quite spiteful and infintely decieving. She is not shy with favoritism, and why should she be? Mathew and Markel are her babies, her boys. By Michael's pleading request, she has never shared Marie's birth status with another soul, but makes her disdain for the girl apparent, albeit unxplained.
The move to Nirvani was not her idea, although she did like the idea of it. A place to start over, away from those who still saw her as the castaway-Cordova. This was a clean slate, a new place, new faces.
