Candace stopped part of the way up the stairs and just looking down at Dakota as he pretended not to be distracted.

It was a poor attempt. She smiled.

"Uh huh.." She went back down the stairs again to stop in front of Dakota, her arms reaching up to wrap around his neck. "So you're not thinking.." She leaned in close to whisper in his ear, her breath warm against his skin.

His reaction had Candace laughing. She squealed as he picked her up and started to run, holding onto him to keep herself comfortably in place. He was always so eager! He was lucky she liked him~. "See anymore? You barely saw any of it as it is!" Candace laughed.

She laughed again when he claimed his thoughts would die away. Right. Like Dakota wasn't at all easy to rile up. Candace doubted there was a way to get him out of this mood once he was in it. "I won't let that happen, darling~." She crooned, giggling as he pat her. "Dorms. Go~. I won't do anything here." It wouldn't be fun for her so no she wasn't letting him have his way with her out here.
