"Oh! I, um . . . sorry." That explained some things, but still . . . Though--"You wouldn't remember someone named Evan, would you?" she asked them both moving in for the swing.
The momentum carried, letting her literally becoming a whirl of blue doom as she scored multiple hits against the guardian's legs, somehow managing to dodge its retaliation.

Nevada played with the string on her bow, looking for a weak point at the knight. Her attention diverted to her twin for just a moment. "Some people like to think before they attack. Maybe puppy was deciding the best move to make!" Yes, nevada called Alecto puppy. Puppy forever. After that it, it turned to Stormy.
"Evan and Candace? They don't ring a bell at all. But Tuck and Heidi and Otto and You and Alaska all do." She hesitated in her shot, "And someone named Roland."
"Who are Evan and Candace? Do they matter to me?" Nevada gave Stormy a intense stare. One out of three worked! And hey, she knew a Roland too! Stormy did, however, falter a bit under Nevada's intense look, and her swing of the scythe became more of an after thought.
"Um . . . Evan and Tuck I remember are my brothers," she answered. "Roland is . . . a friend . . . I think . . .? Candace--I called her Miss Candace or Miss C, she was training us. I don't think I know anyone called Sin . . ."
But what a funny name that would be!
"I'm also trying to find Gale; I think I saw him back in the last zone . . . You doing okay, Alecto?" Stormy asked with a glance, because she didn't like to leave anyone out even when there was nothing to connect them to. There was also the whole "by the way my only memory of you is when you were in a coma so I have no clue", but she could tackle that with Nevada later.

"Your brothers?" Nevada hesitated, thinking of tuck. "tuck was someone I liked very much. The same with Roland i think but most of my memory of him is...painful." She bit ehr lip, "Candace is a trainer? Ours?" Nevada's mind blanked further, "I don't know anyone named Sin either...." On a after thought she added, "Is he sinfully handsome?" See what she did there, she was teasing you Alaska.
"Gale!" Nevada snapped her finger, pointing at Stormy. "He is important to you and not me but I don't know why."

Hmm . . . This all required further time to think, which they did not have at the moment with the guardian harrying them. "Ours," Stormy asserted with a nod and small but proud smile. "The best!"
Keeping light on her feet, she rolled to the side as the guardian rushed its weapon forward, arcing the scythe in a nasty cut to its leg--finally it seemed to look like it was tiring, for its steps were starting to falter.
"He is?" That was curious . . . She remembered him as one she had opted to defend and also spar with, so he had to be at least a friend . . . Stormy frowned slightly, then shrugged it off. "Let's just finish this thing and get what we came here for first. Maybe the Grail will give us all some memories?"

Stormy looked at them. Really.
She felt an odd and uncharacteristic flare from inside as she essentially smacked the flat of the blade against the guardian and watched it crash. "And there you go," she said simply. "Hopefully what we get from here is worth it . . ."
Because shadow or not, she still felt guilty about that sacrifice.
