Kohaku got up some time in the night and finished reading a book she needed to read. Then for no apparent reason raced around the house as a cat. She stopped after slideing on the tiles in the kitchen and crashing into a wall. "Why do I find this amuseing?" She muttered rubbing her head. Leaping up to the counter she looked around for something to do till she burned off the enegry and could sleep again. Remembering there was a hand held game somewhere she leaped down and went in search of it. Though after an hour of looking she went back to bed giveing up on finding it. Now she just needed to wait for the alarm to wake her up later.

It didn't take him long to go through all the shows, since he could fast forward through the commercials it only left about 11mins of the actual program. Van threw the remote back onto Ryan before getting up and stretching he popped his back before walking around the couch debating on whether to just wake Ryan now or find that girl to poke fun at...now that he thought of it he really couldn't remember if he knew where she was...to be honest they weren't neighbors for long. The pack had been here for at least 3-5 months which was pretty long for them to be anywhere.Van just hoped into the tv and seperated till he checked every room. He found one room with a bit of noodles on the ground so he assumed it was her's. And almost forgetting about the other hims he unlocked the door and poked his head out to call for them quietly before pulling back in Weird stray cat lover it's your lucky day i'm bored so i'm sticking around you today he yelled

Kohaku heard noise and yawned. Stretching she walked out to find the source of the sound. Her ear twitched as she looked around. Though once she saw him she growled. "Aw hell! How did you get in!" she shouted then changed into a human except for eyes and teeth again. " Really? I'm going to need to have the cops on speed dial if you keep doing this! You don't see me randomly showing up in your house uninvited." Kohaku crossed her arms looking at him annoyed. " By the way I think you left your hat... its over there somewhere.... probably by that pillow that should be on the couch..." frowning she went and picked up the pillow and put it back on the couch.

you were just a cat Van said tilting his head as he squinted his eyes trying to think.But he looked between the tv and her well i came from your tv....you left it open again and give it time that hat will be gone in a bit
if all the crap i brought out was real real you'd seem me on hoarders...this doesn't apply to the jello commercials i get sick off that stuff he started to say Shoot there was a point where half of the stuff would stick and i'd be stuck in the same get up Van said demonstrating with his aviator shades.As soon as he pulled them off another was already perched above his forehead a few more tries there were at least 7 pairs of shades on the floor but after a coulple of minutes they faded away. Van's other four selves walked up behind him i'm pretty sure you like my company
i like my own company except sometimes i need to take a break from myself...things get awkward after awhile Van said then cleared his throat hinting for the others to leave and they did disappear. anyways we are neighbors
closer than the ones in suburbia
and neighbors do stuff and borrow sh!t i think... he added with a shrug

Kohaku watched confused at how the glasses kept on appearing then looked at the Tv and wondered if putting it against a wall or face down would keep him out. "Just because you enjoy hanging out with yourself don't mean you will like hanging out with me... Also normal neigbors knock on the door or ring the door bell... not appear randomly in the house already." Kohaku sighed shakeing her head and went to the kitchen. " Want some tea? Or hot chocolate... don't have soda." she said and grabbed a tea pot and filled it with water. " Though if you enjoy naps and laying out in the sun we may get along. Or bird watching... occasionally catching them is good fun."

well i'm not normal and neither are you..what's the rule on that he said before sitting on the couch and looking back at her Van occasionally looked around, except for a few of the bottom floor rooms every room was modelled the same just mirrored or flipped around which to the untrained eye could pass as another place.no one seemed to care and hardly anyone came out of their apartments. i'mma pass on the tea i'll be fine with just the hot water i guess he replied then laid on the couch a bit to continue listen to her you really are a cat person
hmm can't do sun my eyes are sensitive and i only sleep when i'm bored as for bird watching meh never tried it
quick question does cat n** affect you or what?
i would assume it did but you know some people say that the stuff doesn't effect some cats he asked hanging partiality off the couch before sliding off

"Actually most of my kind prefers being a cat and only becomeing human to eat other humans... I'm assumeing cat n** would affect me." She handed him the cup of hot water before sitting down on the ground. "I haven't tried catnip... though I don't really think I want to. How do you get into tvs? Last I checked they were not portals..."

i wouldn't consider it "weed for cats" because from what some pet store owner explained.It mimicked "happy" hormones or something and makes cats go crazy for a few minutes Van explained as he set the cup on a small table before getting up to return to his spot on the couch hmped you'd get the same effect from me spitting venom in your face...oh the tv thing
well to put it simple i can turn into energy or just electricity
tvs run on electricity so he started moving his hands around as if to say "put 2 and 2 together' i can do it with anything that runs on any form of energy but i keep it to phones and tvs.
other than that i'm not exactly sure what i a'm because this is no longer my "default" form
but i'm sorta in between feliforms and ehhh marsupials
the others i hang with you'll meet them at some point. They aren't exactly normal too and though my kind is called "butcher hounds" only one of us is actually part dog
the other is a whale and another a dinosaur...but Major is a little lionish so he's a cat dog meh my family is weird Van mumbled the last bits to himself as he reached over to his cup and finished his water so what's the appeal of being human to you?
last time i checked cat's don't have to pay rent Van asked

Kohaku frowned at the spitting venom part. That did not sound like a good idea at all. She sipped her tea listening to him explain the Tv thing and his family. Though 'default forum 'confused her. Was it like her being a cat was her first forum? She decided not to ask not wanting to be annoying with questions. "No... cats don't pay rent. But humans don't get picked up by kids, put in shelters, ran over by cars as often.... that and I don't really care for eating humans... too messy, loud and not all that great tasteing. Plus I couldn't find my family so." she shrugged. "Guess I didn't learn to like being a cat as I should have. Being a bit dog... that explains the not likening cats much." she laughed.

he nodded in agreement meh i guess you have a point with the first few and drivers these days
they are mostly teens on their d@mn phones bah
he swatted at the air at the thought as for eating humans i can see why you wouldn't enjoy it
between human form or cat form things would get pretty rough because people can be bold he grunted and sunk in his seat with a lazy wave the tv turned on but showed the views from different cameras at different places he say Ryan rushing out the building a little ticked of possibly because he woke up late Van bit his lip before turning the tv off i hunt humans only because i have to it's complicated
i may or may not enjoy it but the fact that i used to be human only f@cks things up at times like these
anyways no dog in me i just don't like strays of any kind...that probably doesn't sound right... Van said quietly um well family is either someone you share genes or common qualities of some kind....i may call the others my brother's but they aren't anymore related to me than Chewy out there
so i guess you'll possibly make your ownHe flipped hid hand before getting up to stretch

"Stray is an animal or pet without an owner right? So wouldn't I classify as one? Though I supose most people don't own demons... unless children count under that..." she set her cup of tea down on the coffee table then turned into a cat. It was slightly more comfortable then being a human and she was in her house so why not. " family may be people you share blood with each other but there are many types of family. People can be adopted into family's... married? That's the word right? They find a mate to stay with and that's called a family. They don't have the same blood. So I guess blood don't really mean your family. It just means you have the same parents as the other person you know as brother or sister." she tilted her head to the side. She sort of hoped it make sence , then again wouldn't be the first time a cat talked in riddles and confused people.

well it depends sometimes texting is easier if you need to give someone a quick message without the fluff in between, alot of people including me get off topic with phone calls
and some people have eh dunno phone plans when they have to pay for calls but get free unlimited texts i don't really have to worry about that
as for strays the term applies to any non human
you never hear of a stray child most cases they are just abandoned kids or orphans... he smirked a little when he saw the girl return to her feline form It was just something humorous about carrying on a conversation with a little orange cat. He sat back on the couch and leaned on his hand family is a broad term
heh aside from being born into one the rest constitutes as "making a family" as mentioned earlier Van assured and that was most likely going to be the smartest thing he said all day then u will me u a wittle demon tom cat and fall in love and have manny wittle kittehs
he teased in a baby voice and smiled if you got this far i wouldn't worry about your family
this world ain't so big you'll cross paths one day or night whenever that'll be
i'm not worried about looking for my real family because they aren't real and technically neither am i Van said back in his normal voice and shrugghed

Kohaku's ears went back and tail twitched at his baby voice and rolled her eyes. "You have no idea how that sound rubs on my nerves like 80grit sandpaper.... its annoying... Most cats don't stick to one mate and I hate human kids why the hell would I want any? I mean not only will they be kittens but demon kittens. You have no idea how crazy kittens are! Attack anything that moves and so adorable humans just walk up and get slaughtered. Really they are the best bait to get humans. Though we have rules like don't change infront of humans unless you know you can get away with killing it. Which is how I got stuck in my situation..." she muttered and stretched. Sitting back up she curled her tail over her paws. "What do you mean your not real? Your here aren't you? Though according to humans I'm not real either. Just a story told to scare children at camp fires and such."

Van raised his hands defensively oh ok sorry calm down miss kitty i didn't mean to start something i couldn't finish he said sarcastically but understood why she said what she said he couldn't imagine being a pet for a child. He just wasn't fond of children with their grubby little spit and snot covered hands.when he was human and had a table at a restaurant next to a toddler he'd loose his appetite and maybe gag.Babysitting was worse since at times his mother's friend left him and her oldest daughter with the baby.he was so afraid that an accident was going to happen when le he was around Van would freeze up when the baby was touching any part of him. i'm lucky i can't have kids he mumbled and shivered he looked backed at her when she questioned what he meant about "not being real" nah i'll let you get back to your bird watching and naps
I'd sound stupid trying to explain how i came from a video game and just so happen to appear in the "real world" he said with a roll of his eyes

Kohaku chuckled "And who's to say this is the real life and not fantasy? Maybe this is all just a dream and maybe I don't even exist? " she smiled slightly. "Confuseing when you try to think what is real and what is not. Even more so when you try to define life. Better off just to live and not worry then worry and not live... if liveing is truely what we are doing." she laughed and shook her head. "Ever see the movie the matrix? "((Lol had a conversation with a friend like this once. Convinced her we were in the matrix. XD What sold it was the teacher litteraly called Mr.Smith walking over when class was done. He normally was not on that end of the school that time of day. And he only said hi to us. I also made the comment. "You know... I bet Mr.Smith knows... he will probably be checking up on us because we now know..." XD Best moment ever! ))
