Solaris smiles fondly at all his beloved Solar Hounds gathered."I am happy to welcome you all. May light be with you."He speaks regally, holding back the urge to scoop the lot up in his arms like a child with puppies. Then he turns to the adorable mini with a gentle smile. "My dear one, I welcome you into the family of the sun." Lastly he lets his lively green eyes settle on the rather impish looking character. "You look like you enjoy a good prank." He says lightly with a playful glint in his eyes. "You are welcome here, my child. But please try to know when good fun becomes malice." He gave her a wink.

Solaris rises from his throne to step across the marble floor the bright smile on his face. He wrapped her in a warm, welcoming hug, before he takes a step back, eyes glittering happily. "I'm so happy to see you and welcome you formally into this growing family of mine, Evangaline."He gives her a closed eyed smile.

An offering for Solaris! Spoilered cos a lil long. XD
Roan had gotten up as the dawn was breaking over his and Rhett's little cottage home. He had wandered his way through the tall grasses that were now no more then droopy stalks of brown, and bounced his way around the thick curling vines of his personal pumpkin patch. There had been large squat pumpkins, and little dimpled pumpkins. Orange in different shades of brightness mingled with yellow and some white ones. Roan had been unable to resist pouncing and rolling across the ground with one of the more rounded pumpkins. The late autumn sun barely providing enough heat to warm his fur, though the activity of play surely did that for him. Once he was good and warm, and his chosen pumpkin had been twisted off the vine by his frolicking with it, the little panda had carried it proudly into the house and begun the long task of baking it. He cut it open and hollowed it out. The seeds were placed on paper and sprinkled with large grains of salt before being slipped into the oven to bake. He carved the pumpkin into slices, then switched the seeds and the pumpkin pieces in the oven to bake. Once the scent of pumpkin filled the kitchen, Roan happily turned to the task of scooping the pumpkin from the shell, and then the real pie making began!
By the time he was done, the sun was well high in the sky, and Roan had three perfectly round and fluffy pumpkin pies. He had taken a claw and ever so carefully carved happy smiling sun faces into the surface of each pie. "Rheeeettt! Are you up yet?" He called eagerly as he began to scoop the baked pumpkin seeds into a paper bag for their trip to the temple.
Rhett was indeed up, the smells of Roan's baking finally having woken hiim up. Not a bad thing to wake up to, really, and he was just finishing getting dressed when he heard the red panda call out to him. "Yes, I am," he answers back as he rubs his eyes a little and meanders out into the kitchen. He spotted the goods and had to admit his mate had been busy. The pies looked and smelled fantastic, and the pumpkin seeds even smelled wonderful. "Oh, you've outdone yourself this morning, Roan."
Roan turned his brown eyes on Rhett as the fox joined him in the kitchen. His fluffy tail curled over his shoulders as s sunny smile lit up his face. "Do you really think so? Thank you Rhett. I just need to get the pies in some boxes and I'll be ready to go to the temple. I'm so very excited! I hope he likes my pies!" The panda rambled on excitedly as he collected some pie boxes from a drawer and began to fold the stiff card board into place
Rhett chuckled. "Those pies will probably feed more than just our God, but yes, I am sure he will enjoy some nice treats." He moved to help fold some boxes for him. "I just hope this comes across as what it is, an offering, not a bribing for...well, you know...what we want to ask for."
Roan twitched his nose as he placed the first pie into it's box and sealed the top with some tape. "I know Solaris would never make such a mistake." He stated confidently as he placed another pie in a box and stacked it on the first. "Besides, I'm sure he's hungry. Who do you suppose is feeding him? I have to make sure I bring enough!" He declared before turning to grab a travel bag from under the table. "Gods don't cook for themselves, and I don't think Solaris has a cook in his temple. He must be awfully hungry...or he's been eating out a lot..."
Rhett chuckled. "Roan, I'm quite sure he eats well. If he doens't cook on his own I'm sure someone does. But are you sure you aren't going there to apply for a position of cook?" He teases gently.
Roan flushed at the teasing and gave a little growl as he packed up the last of the treats. Three pies and a bag of pumpkin seeds, that didn't seem like too much to him at all. "Our Lord would get very tired of my menu. Pumpkins and squashes and mushrooms all the time. I'm surprised you haven't taken over the cooking yet." He teased right back as he picked up the travel bag and headed for the door. "Lets go! It would be rude to show up at the temple when the sun is setting! It's like showing up at a store ten minutes bedfore they close!"
Rhett just laughed. "I like your cooking. I can't say my menu was varied much when I delievered mail all the time. I lived off the land quite often when I was in remote areas. And trust me, your food is better than anything I ever had at an Inn on my routes. He will love the food, I know it. But yes, we should get going." He slung his satchel over his shoulder and followed Roan. "If you need me to help carry that on the way, let me know, okay?"
Roan felt appeased that Rhett was satisfied with his limited menu ingredients. Holding the bag, he shot his bondmate a teasing little smile. "Oh no you don't. I know you just want to try and sneak some of these pumpkin seeds. I can carry it on my own very well." He said cheerfully and flicked his tail against Rhett in a mock spanking motion.
Of course, Roan's cheerfulness dampened some when they finally arrived at Solaris temple. Peering up at it, he clutched his bag and scooted closer to Rhett in mute awe.
Rhett laughed. "Of course I do. But I wouldn't eat them, they're for Solaris! I will just have to have you make me some more later, because you love baking." He wrapped an arm around his mate and resisted the urge to playfully noogie him.
When they got to the temple, he felt Roan move closer to him and hugged him to his side. "It's very beautiful, isn't it?"
Roan's head gave a small bob in agreement to Rhetts question. "It's so... big." He admitted while comparing the temple to his little cottage. Peering at the fox, he forced himself to creep forwards to the temple alter. Kneeling, he took the pies and seeds from his bag, and he laid them out very carefully in offering to his God.
Rhett nodded in silent agreement to Roan's words. He moved up to the altar with the red panda and knelt with him as they laid out their offering. "Solaris, if you are near, we bring these goods in offering to you for your kindness and benevolence. We are proud to have you as our god and wish to show our gratitude."

Solaris appeared behind his stunning white marble alter in a great ball of orange fire as the pair of followers set out the offering before him. He wore his typical bright smile as the flames vanished as quickly as they had appeared. His expression shifted from happy to sheer delight as he both saw and smelled the offering. "Oh, this offering smells heavenly!" He declares vibrantly looking over at the two of his beautiful children that had provided such a scrumptious offering. Then a playful twinkle came into his eyes. "There is so much I don't know what to do with all of this." His tone so light that it would have been nigh unto impossible to take offense. Though this supposed 'issue' seemed to be resolved before he could continue. Mithraz padded into the room and made straight for the alter, by which he sat staring at the arrayed offering with large, almost begging eyes. Solaris turned to glance at his companion, with a soft smile. He was about to open his mouth to tease his friend when a blue ball of flame appeared at his other side, revealing the Azure, demi-goddes of flames. She said nothing, but it was clear that she would be more than willing to solve his problem. Solaris looked to Azure, back to Mithraz, to the pies and paper bag before his gaze fell again to the pair. He still wore his smile as he shrugged and replied cheerfully. "I guess that solves that." Rather amused at the swift entrance of the pair, despite that it had ruined his little game. He curiously picked up the paper bag and as he peered inside he spoke. "I thank you for this wonderful smelling offering." He paused as he picked out one of the white seeds and looked it over before popping it in his mouth. He chewed, then swallowed, his expression showing his enjoyment of the taste."Now then." He said as he hopped up onto his alter to sit himself on the edge nearest the dear followers that had come in. "What is it you wish to ask of me?" He inquired, popping a few more of the seeds into his mouth. Something about his light hearted tone and the intelligent twinkle in his eyes seemed to exude that he hadn't assumed the offering was a bribe, but rather that he had gathered they had come to him for more than one matter this beautiful day. Though it could be assumed by his quick movement to the following matter could be eluded to mean they where connected.

Roan's eyes blinked rapidly at the flare of flame that heralded Solaris appearance. Lifting his hands, he rubbed at his eyes, and dropped them about the same time the God would comment on how much he had brought. Instantly Roan's fur warmed and he curled his paws over his nose while bowing his head in embarrassment. The appearance of the Solar Hound, and then the flaming entrance of the Demigoddess stifled any apologies that Roan was about to make. Instead he tilted his posture a little so he could lean against Rhett slightly while peering downwards. he could still see Solaris and his two champions lingering nearby quite easily. "Y-your welcome." He whispered to the God. When Solaris asked why it was they had come to see him, he peered up at Rhett before shyly murmuring. "Rhett and I... we've...been through a lot together." He started slowly.
Rhett was amused at all the attention over Roan's food, and felt relaxed here, with Solaris' friendly nature. He peeked at Roan and his embarrassed expression and couldn't help but smile. He wrapped an arm around him as he leaned against him and listened as he started to explain. Giving him a reassuring squeeze he looked back up at their god to continue for him, nodding at Roan's words. "We have. And we just hope...well... we're wanting to have kits of our very own...and we want nothing more for them to have a safe home and haven like we do now." He pauses to peer at Roan again before looking back up at their god. "So we're seeking your blessing. We want them to have a good future, you know? We want them to always feel loved, and as happy as you always are, Solaris."
Solaris smiled contentedly as he listened respectfully, pausing in his snacking. He couldn't help but feel an overwhelming desire to wrap the adorable, embarrassed, or perhaps just shy, little red panda in a warm hug like a kid with an adorable kitten. He restrained himself and set the bag of seeds on the alter beside him, swishing his tail. However, his vibrant green eyes already alight, having alluded to how Roan's companion would complete the expression. He let his eyes roll over to the messenger fox. As the words reached him Solaris was unable to stop his smile from splitting his face with nothing less than glee. He was genuinely touched that he could not only hear but feel the loving devotion they had for him and their. Desire for any of their kits to share his unending love and happiness that he himself possessed and shared with all. He was silent for a what must have seemed like an eternity as he tried with all his might to contain his emotional outburst. Azure's attention was focused on Solaris, a note of concern in her deep blue eyes. Sure that he was going to hurt himself if he tried to contain it any longer. Mithraz didn't seem so worried as he proceeded to lift his paws onto the alter and swipe one of the boxed pies while his friend distracted. He was padding happily to the back of the room to eat his pilfered treat when Solaris could no longer hold himself back. Solaris literally leapt off the alter and swept the pair of adorable ones into his arms in one swift, but gentle and loving embrace. A sound of pure joy escaped him as he flapped his wings, sweeping in a large circle before he was able to compose himself somewhat. He folded his wings and set the pair back on the smooth floor of his temple. His entire face continued to sparkle with his warm enthusiasm and it took him clearing his throat softly to bring himself out of his overjoyed state. With a more calm and in control composure, though none of his happiness waning, he finally responded. "Your sure to be beautiful children are and will always be welcomed with love under the warmth of the sun." Beaming still, he knelt down before them to look into their eyes as he reached a hand out to place on each of their head. "And of course, I will grant you my blessing. For I know that you two will raise them to embody the very spirit of happiness and warmth. They shall truly be children of the sun." He offered one of his closed eyed smiles and drew them to his chest in another loving embrace. Mithraz had paused to watch with mild amusement as his friend overreacted, as per the norm, before continuing to lay beside the immaculate throne and helping himself to the delicious pumpkin pie. Azure's eyes followed her lord's movements, wondering if the two followers would want to remain such after this explosion of emotion. Then she had to doubt it, though a bit much it was just a show of just how much he loved his followers as if they were his own flesh and blood. Remaining silent she simply continued to watch, a light smile sneaking onto her lips.
Why do they wish to follow Solaris?: He was born of the blessed breeding Solaris bestowed upon Rhett and Roan. This is more or less his un-official dedication!
Roleplay Potential?: Yes and always XD
Valor tossed open the door of the temple with a bit more strength and enthusiasm then may have been necessary. With his tail flicking up and down behind him, the red fox boy dashed into the room. A small red bird clung to the back of his vest as if for dear life. Running as if he hadn't a second to spare. he came to a sudden dead halt. His feet splayed and his tail whooshing past his knees as he peered about in a rapid fashion.
"I come baring a important message for Solaris the Sun god!" He declared as he pulled out a scroll from his messenger bag. Lifting it over his head, he snapped the scroll open. Confetti burst out from the rolled up scroll as the words 'You Are AWESOME' blazed across it in bright colors was revealed. With a very delighted laugh, Valor placed the scroll on the ground by the alter, turned tail, and dashed from the temple. With a small hop and skip in his step he kicked up his heels in a playful click as he rushed on out.

Solaris watched with a curious look as the little fox boy rushed into his temple. He instantly knew who this young one was and as the boy declared he had an important message he couldn't stop his smile from splitting his face. Before he could inquire about the message the exuberant fox snapped open the scroll, sending confetti spraying to the white marble floor. His eyes widened slightly for a moment in surprise only to melt as he read the brief bolded statement. Touched by message he rose from his throne as the scroll was laid down before the alter. Solaris had intended to wrap the little messenger in the warmest of hugs for the meaningful scroll, but he was swift to dash off with a skip in his step. Solaris watched him go with a warm smile and sat down on his alter as the white tip of the tail vanished from the doorway. He picked up the scroll and simply spent the next long while smiling as he read the words over and over again, green eyes on the verge of spilling tears of joy.
