Unfortunately that momentum petered out when she got caught abruptly stopping for a missing floor panel. Better switch directions.

Man that switching directions really helped. Thean managed getting in four steps before stopping and turning to avoid a shelf. Woo! 'Keep on going' she told herself.

Thean deftly navigated the shelf and ran forward quickly. She was so close! Just a little farther....

Thean bounded the last few steps to the back of the old gift shop. She approached the orbs of light and looked around. Nobody seemed to be looking for them...or guarding them for that matter. She reached down and scooped one up. Clutching it to her chest she ran out and away before anyone could take her light away.

Kin had made his was to this park, being drawn to it by his developing mischievous nature. While the other glowing hearts he had seen went toward the roller coaster first mostly, he decided to take an alternate route, the swings. The other hearts had seemed to be having a much more difficult time with them and he was ready to try, something within him forever pushing him forward. The more he did for the goddess the better he felt, more alive, she made him feel like he was what he was supposed to be. After his brief thoughts he began jogging toward the swings ready to grab the lowest one.

His first leap to grab one of the chains had snapped the rusted chain and left him sprawled on the ground with a piece of rough rusted chain splintered into his hand. Shaking the piece embedded out of his hand he studied the structure again, tail swishing and reached out for another chain, a bit more carefully this time.

Kin's caution had won out this time and he made his way upward, he took another risk and tried to step to the next highest swing.

As he tried to reach the third step, more carefully than ever, of course the thing snapped the second his weight went onto it. Down Kin went, landing flat on his chest with an "oof" Sitting up he rubbed his aching chest, he was going to have to start using those chains to his advantage...

Kin studied the swings for a moment before trying to re-mount the first swing, losing his balance however Kin tried to grab the chain to steady himself, which of course snapped off and left him on his butt.

Kin used the soft swaying to his advantage and tried to grab the chain of the third swing again, having given up on stepping on them. Just like every other time when he had been careful though the chain fell short and he went crashing down.

Begginning to grow even more frustrated Kin growled and kicked at what looked like a rock however upon kicking it he realized it was the tip of a very deep buried boulder. His foot was throbbing now and Kin was beginning to grow very frustrated.
