Zara's inner self grinned at the words the duelist spoke, for he was indeed the very essence of dragon fire itself. Perhaps this boy just has incredibly bad luck. Zara brought his sword around and pointed it at the ground, his other hand raised and pressed to the flat side of the blade to support it as he used it to block Vixen's attack. He then took a step back, shifting into an offensive stance to ready himself for his next strike, only to stop as Brice approached his young sparring partner.
And it would seem he has bestowed some of it upon our vixen friend. We'll stop our spar for now and let her go. Zara looked down at the detailed miniature sculpture, and not wanting to destroy Vixen's gift, he gave in and followed his inner self's desire to return to meditation.
Having reached this decision, Zara stepped back from Vixen and gave a slight bow. "I will not lie, I am a bit disappointed that our spar has ended so soon," Zara then gave Vixen a mischievous smile, "I have no doubt we would have had great fun, but I'm afraid I would not want to ruin your new gift. I have also not finished my meditation, and it is very important that it be done. Go, and have fun with Brice." Zara then leaned forward and whispered in Vixen's ear, "Though not too much so, I wouldn't want you to be distracted with thoughts of your fun the next time we spar."
With a great grin on his face, and a teasing light in his eyes, Zara turned and walked back to the middle of the field where his shirt still lay, then sat on it once more to resume his meditation. "Farewell Duelist Brice, and farewell, my vixen." With one last smirk in her direction, Zara faced forward and closed his eyes as a dragon of fire reappeared and drifted lazy circles about him.
