Whoever made this piano was on her list. Be it goddess or otherwise, someone somewhere did this purposely. She scoffed and banged her head again, resting it on a few keys to send a pulsating hum into the ground. She wondered if the building would fall apart around her and take her with it.

Denied! Even playing with random keys wasn't working. No luck, no skill. She was drowning fast but stubbornly remained on the worn bench, glaring down at the stained keys with a burning glint in her eyes which seemed to say Obey or die. Shards rained on her like they did in the Ruins, and she put her hands over her ears and did not cry or scream out or make even a sound, because it would be showing weakness to an inanimate object. To see Licraesa's weaknesses had to be earned.

She wasn't going to crack. It was alright, this was her mission, she was supposed to be here and she took in a deep breath to try to remember why. There was no true, specific reason but it felt right. Her core glowed slightly with her determination as it burned. "I'll beat you yet."
