If she had worries Lou, unlike their last deal, she would've been off and back home before she could even sing out a do re mi.
"Don't like snakes?" Shame, but another thing she found out about Lou! One small accomplishment for Amphi, 0 for Lou.
"Oh good!" Amphi even seemed relieved that she had understood him correctly. See that LIFE! She wasn't always sunshine and bubbles and whatever! Life 0 Amphi 2 Lou 0. she liked the scoreboard.
"Um..." Her head started to spin at all the inappropriate names but since he seemed to get the idea, "Okay that's enough." She reached up to cover his mouth, but not quick enough to hear the last comment about games and winning.
"I'm not a game." She narrowed her eyes, "And I dated Roch for a long time before we even thought of even thinking becoming lovers." It was also because she was so shy and nervous and she couldn't do those things. Even if she loved Roch the whole time. Did Lou think she would even be willing to attempt even something remotely close? Unless he took from her, with pressuring her, she would never really give up something willingly.
"I don't even....think...I could even...Kiss you." She stuttered out, dropping her hands and walking away faster, out of his grasp. "You idiot." That seemed like an appropriate thing to say to him.

It was a good thing Lou didn't know about the imaginary scoreboard, because he would've done everything in his power to blow her mind. "Yeah. I don't like snakes. You could say that." Let her think he meant something else. That was fine.
Lou allowed the mermaid to cover his mouth, even if it hadn't been in time. It was nothing personal, Amphi. Lou thought of everything as a game. It was how he dulled out the harshness of life. Er. Unlife. "Yeah. A lot of good that did you." Considering they were no longer an item.
The vampire's grin grew wide, however, when she mentioned kissing. It almost looked as if his pointy little tufts of hair curled. The idiot comment didn't even phase him. He quickened his pace to catch up. "I think you are thinking of just that, or else you wouldn't be rushing away from me so I couldn't sneak one on you." Not that he would've. As he had already said, it wasn't fun to play a game you were guaranteed to win. "Though.. There's not much difference between what we've done and kissing, if you think about it." He made no passes at her, his arms just folded behind his back as he practically skipped along. "Both of our lips touched each other already, so it's almost like we've already kissed."

The rushing away didn't seem to work, and mostly because Amphi was smaller of the two. Unlike Lou, she didn't have legs to carry her far. She was blessed/cursed with a set of pipes and very huge bosom. Otherwise all 5'2 of her was barely even dedicated to speed walking.
"I am not thinking of that." She said instantly, bringing up her hands to cover her face. "I am not thinking of kissing you Lou." Denial so deep, The Marianas trench couldn't bury it away. "Oh my jack there is a huge difference!" Amphi hissed, peeking through her fingers. She would not admit that his reasoning made sense. It would give him the power. And it'd didn't make sense.
EXCEPT IT REALLY DIDN'T. Also she didn't appreciate his skipping, and looking so damn happy while she was having a post bite mental breakdown.
"I bit you, I didn't kiss you." She tried to say, "I wasn't thinking of how nice it was, I was thinking of would it would feel like to tear flesh away." She huffed, "I don't count it as kissing. Unless my lips..." She pointed at her lips, then at his, "Touch yours, then it doesn't count. And you can't reason differently." In their speed walking, they had finally made it to the town, dirt road turning to cobble stone, shops and noises. It was over crowded but there was plenty of people walking around.
"So that's the end of it Lou. I am not thinking of kissing you, I will not kiss you. And thats...That is final." She stamped her foot, slapping her hands on her hips. "O...Okay?"
Oh there was the meek Amphi again. Too bad Amphi, you almost could've been taken seriously.

"Uh huh." Lou immediately responded to her denial, not believing a single word of what she said. It didn't matter that they'd finally reached town. Whether people were around or not, as long as he had the breath to harass her, he would.
"Not thinking of how nice it would be for our lips to lightly touch each others, then?" The boil cooed. "Or.. How dramatic the feeling would be when my cold deathly skin met the warmth of yours? No, not at all?" Oh how he loved to tease.
"So, you didn't find the biting nice at all." The vampire sounded skeptical. "For someone who was only out to cause pain you seemed very delicate about it."
She could stamp her feet all she wanted to, until met with a more interesting subject, he wasn't about to drop it.

"No!" She might've gotten a little more high pitched at the denial. "No, no I haven't. We aren't even dating, I can't think about those things." SEE THE REASONING THERE LOU.
At the mention of his bite, she thought of how it didn't effect her at first, it hadn't been until she asked him to stop, when his hands had dipped over her, when she had been pressed into a tree, against him with nowhere else to go-

Holding her face again, she turned, bumping into a person. And then into another...and then into a third. Apparently she was broken.
There was some slight mumbling as she finally stopped in front of the grocery store, waiting for Lou to join her before removing her hands and pretending to have a calm facade. "I'll be honest with you Lou, Just because I think about it, doesn't mean I am quick to do it. Even biting you was a huge first step." She didn't want her brain to shift into the predator, even though it did when he kept teasing her. It was there, wanting her to do what she really wanted to do. It wanted to be aggressive. And she wasn't that. "I didn't want to hurt you specifically, but I was thinking of hurting someone else. And I pulled away before I could do any damage." her hand reached up to touch the bandage where his bite was.
"I need groceries." She looked at the store, holding her hand in place and flushing. "Will you help me carry them?"

"Dating schmating." Lou shrugged it off as if it meant nothing to him. Because it didn't.
Whether she thought she could or not, it looked like she was either way, and Lou would just let that blossom... And watch her bump into person after person. Holy s**t what was she thinking about? A couple of times he'd tried to reach out and maneuver her away from said people, but it ended up too late. Ah well, no harm done. Well. You know. Besides the mental damage he'd left her with, apparently.
"Well, of course not. I think about walking outside in my birthday suit all the time, but I seldom do it." Notice he said seldom and not never. Lou's hands slid into his pockets as they stood in front of the grocery store, listening to her 'excuse' for being frisky. "Well... You know... You can damage me any time you want." WINK. He was a glutton for punishment, after all. The thought of being ripped apart... Really didn't seem to phase him. You're one ******** up dude, Lou. The hell is wrong with you?
He carefully observed as she touched the bandage he so generously gave her (even if they were his favorites). He sure would've loved to have some sort of magical mind reading ability now.
"I already said I'd help you, so go find bags for this pack mule to carry."

"Oh my jack Lou." She just whispered closing her eyes. "I don't know how long I am just going to hold out. Do you just wear ghouls down until they say yes?" If he could read her mind, it'd be the replay of him biting her. And she'd be mulling over if she liked it.
Or what happened if it went further than what it started out as. her imagination had always been a powerful thing, and because of dating Roch, she was now more...AWARE...of things. And because she had a certain amount of AWARENESS. Her mind was quick to jump to the far more perverted outcomes.
Which was she was trying to draw it all in herself. She had just given him reasons as to why they couldn't. She didn't want to give herself an option if they could.
The doors swung open for her, as she grabbed a basket and stuffed it into Lou's hands. That'd at least take care of his sometimes wandering hands. Too bad she didn't have anything to stuff in his mouth.
She moved quickly through, setting things in the basket, humming over others, hawwing at stuff. It wasn't till the candy aisle that she was staring at them. She always had a partition to the gummy worms, because fish loved worms and they were so good. She grabbed one of those, bending down to look other candies before grabbing to with little vampire bats on them. Blood candies. A payment from her to Lou for the bandage and the help.
"Do you need anything Lou?" She said finally after the stretch of silence. "I'm all done." It seemed in that time, she was a bit more calmer. On the outside, on the inside her brain was slowly working his hands to cupping- NOPE.

"Yes." Lou said simply in answer to her question. Yes, he did wear most ghouls down like this. It was... Surprisingly effective sometimes. Other times he just ended up on the floor with a handful of questions and a pain in his groin.
The vampire made no comment as a basket was shoved into his grasp, he simply held it. This was something he could do without consequence, especially considering his hands were now fully occupied. Idle hands are the devil's workshop, as they say.
And this was an incredibly boring way to put them to work. How did ghoul's take such joy in shopping? He would never know.
"Gummy worms?" Well he supposed fish lips was a pretty accurate nickname, in this case. Thanks for proving his point Amphi.
"Oh yeah, sure. Get me a couple of protection charms and a copy of the latest Playboil magazine. The centerfold is supposed to be a dragon chick this month." And who would want to miss that? "Oh, and some ice scream. I like eating it while I watch my soaps."
... He wasn't kidding, was he?

Amphi blankly stared at him.
"I meant food." She could get Ice scream if he wanted, she liked that too. the other two well, he was on his own. "I am trying to be nice."
"Also yes gummy worms." She made a face, "They are delicious and addicting." Her eyes narrowed, "Seriously though, Do you want something for lunch or something." Or maybe he was all full cause blood.
Oh and if it suddenly hit later, there was a moment of:
"You don't need protection charms, WE AREN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING." Of course she was just assuming but it didn't matter.

"Well, you didn't say food. You said 'anything'." The vampire pointed out with a snarky smile. "And I'm trying to be honest, as per the usual." If she really wanted to be nice, he could think of a couple of things she could kindly... Indulge him in.
Lou simply rolled his eyes at the gummy worms, thinking it less an issue of taste and more an issue of Amphi was a fish and she ate real worms when nobody was looking. Well, nobody was perfect. He knew that big rack was hiding some dirty secret (and there was of course, ample room to hide secrets in there).
It had surprised him a little that she'd disregarded his protection charm comment, though it seemed the lapse was only temporary.
A single 'hah' escaped his mouth as his hands rested on his hips. It looked as if he was about to spew out a winner. "And who said I was going to use them on you? Wishful thinking?"

And if she could read your thoughts, she didn't eat real worms. She preferred more meat than that. And she had no dirty secrets.
"AUGHDSKJFEIFDSJFSK" The sound she made was so loud, it drew the heads of quite a few customers. Embarrassed, she took the basket, ran to the the counter, paid for it by throwing silver seeds, came back, shoved it in Lou's hands and whispered a loud, "Let's go."
Soon as they were out and back to the path home, she started to pant, baby fangs back elgonated again because ******** Lou.
"Lou..." She looked over at him, glaring. She didn't even know what to say.

Oh, but it would, Amphi. It most certainly would. Lou had built his whole existence around blunt honesty and speaking his mind that, to lie would be to defile his character.
Not that he didn't defile everything else...
But it seemed like a moot point to comment on such, now that she was all upset and embarrassed. Lou almost looked proud that he was getting so good at crawling under her skin like the little parasite he was.
For the rest of the time they were in the supermarket, Lou was quiet (yet still smug looking). Anything else would just be overkill. As the groceries were shoved his way, the boil took them without a word of complaint.
And for the walk home, he trailed beside her quietly, the only sounds coming from him were the rustles of the bags as he adjusted them.
"Yeesss?" He called back, only a little surprised that she was glaring when he finally met her gaze. Had she been fuming this whole time? Or... Was something else wrong?

"Kiss me." The words surprised her only because she had been so upset at just everything. Her mind thought of payback, of equal footing and she had chosen of all the words, kiss me? Glutton of punishment. And she had been fuming. She didn't like having thoughts of what if dragging through her brain. She didn't like her imagination. And the best way to obviously get over it, was to do it and get over it. She stopped, staring at him expectantly.

"What." Lou's face had gone from happily smug to... Well... Dumbfounded, to say the least. For a brief moment he just... Stared at her. Had he heard right? Had she really just asked him to kiss her out of the blue like that?
Lou truly hadn't seen that coming.
He'd almost dropped the bag of groceries before he snapped back to his senses, his grip tightening on it at the last minute and causing a loud rustle. "Heh." His smirk returned with a brief laugh. Any other man would've tried to understand, to justify the request before the inevitable acceptance, but not Lou. No, Lou was quick to seize the moment, and ask questions later.
The grocery was haphazardly discarded off to the side, and the boil's arms swooped in to pull her closer. For all the s**t he got with the way he treated women, it sure did seem to work in his favor.
His hand brushed under her chin in an effort to coax her face upwards as his intense stare bore into her, evaluating her briefly before dipping his own head down. He stopped, however, just inches from her soft lips and whispered, "As you wish." Nyxtsuki Moon gurrrrrrrrrrrrl u cray cray.

The look on Lou's face. /whispers priceless/ for once the mermaid was pleased to see that she had dumbfounded the vampire. In a small little Amphi world, that was another victory on her part. Unfortunately, she should've realized that it was a terrible idea before even uttering the words because of course Lou would do it. There was a instinctive move to shove his face up and away from her because hello Lou. She had to quell it so she could experience and compare the effects. He claimed she was attracted, maybe she was to the simple exchange of gentle violence between them perhaps instead she was attracted to Lou because she had seen a more complex and sweet side hidden deeeeeeeeeeeep within. Or maybe she was just over analyzing and she was naive enough to fall in the game he was playing. She didn't move as his arms wrapped around her even though again the thought to run was higher. And we had seen how running had worked for her. When her head was tilted up, it was then that her hands dug into the striped suit, her face making a displease flush over cheeks and neck. Okay Lou.
