The shadowy arrow sliced through the air in a stream of nothingness, like all light was sucked into a black hole and as it struck the Greater Demon, En'radial was stricken with chains that developed from the shadows, stopping her from being thrown back by the blast but making it all the more painful. "aah!" she cried in a demonic roar.

As Claudia came closer to him and actually tried to convince him against everything the demon had tried planting in his head, and as she did, amongst his cries, he began to quieten after a distinct crack set upon the front of his helm. "Claudia..." he then said... "She's taken everything from my mind and brought all of my anger and fear into one place..." he was speaking almost like he wasn't there. Meanwhile the demon was trying to get away from the chains, only getting more powerful the longer than Nyru gave into this Torment. "But she doesn't understand one thing..." he then repsonded, taking off his helmet and tossing it aside, he then grabbed his blade and wiping away some of the tears from his cheeks he whispered. "acceptance is the key to be truly free - and i've always accepted myself" and then he yelled at the demon, now angry that she had invaded his thoughts "You will never make me go against what i've always believed my entire life!"

She let out a guffaw then and burst from her chains that melted to molten magma. "That's not what you think some nights, young shadowmancer" she then laughed once more and added "I know that your filthy mind worries most nights, and it is not accepting yourself that you fear, it is the acceptance of others!" and he gritted his teeth at the comment, clasped his hands even tighter. And then he silently held up a hand for them both to perform Shadow Resonance, to share their power and resonate together, directly harnessing power from the Underworld. This was the very same magic that would cause them to drastically speed up or become powerful during the day, imagine what it can do under moonlight.

Finally the time was nigh to summon the powers of the Underworld. Not many Shadowmancers knew exactly how to cause such a monumental spell to work, but with Shadow Resonance he could do it. And he knew that Claudia would protect him afterwards. Staring upon the fiery woman, he ignored any mental torment and when Claudia's palm touched his, he felt the energy revel within him. Shadows around him tried to bend inwards on themselves, the disturbance in the energy levels were beginning to show themselves. The shadowy wavelength then rippled from Nyru, finally, as he let go of Claudia and vanished with lightning speed.

At this point En'radial had pulled free from her chained prison and was wailing her own torment of anger, trying to find the boy. "You can't hide your mind from me, shadowmancer!" she cried as her blind face turned to face opposite her, pin-pointing Nyru. He then charged at her faster than before and left behind a giant blade of darkness as he passed her. It was as if the slash was frozen in time, and then he charged past another time from a different angle, and again and then a few more times. When he was finished there were several of these giant blades surrounding her body, very close to her skin and taunted her to stay still. Shoving his blade into the ground each of the blades sliced through her body and as the magical blades hit the ground and left behind a charred symbol.

Breathing heavily he was kneeling with his blade keep his shoulders up as he muttered "I'll teach you the meaning of torment". And then the ground below her, along with the symbol grew dark and arms reached out from the very depths of the Underworld. She was more than a match for these though, even after the blades has mentally cut her into many pieces causing her to scream in agony. Kicking the shadowy figures, the lost souls from herself she was then greeted by something else. A giant snake-like monster slivered around her from the ground beneath her, it had horns like the devil and eyes black as jet. Being pulled down by the shadows now, En'radial, Maiden of Torment coldn't keep herself standing as the snake began to rise up and stand over the already large demon. And then it came down to bite her, as it did all the shadows Nyru summoned right there and then canceled themselves. He did not have the power to fully sustain it, he could summon a monster from the Underworld to do his bidding, but he could not keep it physically in form. Instead all it did was cause En'radial pain that could not be seen, just felt. "Satisfied?" Nyru then asked, his arms sliding down from the handle of his blade as he began to lose consciousness.

En'radial cried out for aid, muttered words in some demonic tongue before warning "Valial will rise again! .. I will never let such worthless maggots deny me my thrown in the depths of Torment!". As Claudia however rushed over to Nyru to help him, one of the Circle appeared from the war around them and said "Take him back to the tower... the war is over..."

En'radial, on he last breath attempted to stand, fire from her head losing its force of power. And then something great happened. All of the circle appeared from be it the trees, the earth below them or the war raging around them, they made a circle around the Maiden of Torment. With one last will, En'radial shouted " Dantézan and Lucifial... You... will... perish!". And then the Circle raised up their arms, causing for a sonic-boom to occur. Though rather than the boom extending outwards like a rippled, it all condensed towards En'radial, where instantaneously she was left a pile of embers, the Crimson Jewel lying atop it. And that wasn't all, as the funnel of fire summoning forth the legions of hell dissipated, so did En'radial's soul. The ground between the Circle began to seep bloody smoke, screams of agony scrawling, calling out from whatever hellish cause was set upon the land. And then like a vacuum the Circle commanded the curse to be locked away within the Crimson Jewel, supposedly, and hopefully, securing En'radial's soul within it forever. For now, she may never return, and never escape the prison.

There was at first nothing but mere darkness, with silence and then the flutter of wings, the sound of a small bird chirping. The sudden sound however, of a great door swinging shut nearby jerked Nyru from rest as he moved in place, finding a weight above his head. When his eyes opened up there was light from above, but half his view was taken by a round thing. Then he quickly realised it was Claudia, for none other had blonde hair like hers. Carefully holding her head as he sat up he tried to softly awake her.

"Hey"

He spoke softly and realised they were both tired, however it was the next morning, and Nyru did not feel too weak anymore. Then a mysterious voice spoke up from the corner of the stone, elaborate room. "I see you had a good rest" came the old voice, Nyru looked over and saw it was Horad Caiin, leaning with both hands on his staff as always. Beside him he could not help but notice one of the Circle was there too, but when he looked over the druid vanished into the wall. "I could never thank you too more!" he then spoke up, stretching his vocal cords.

Fresh air seemed to fill the room so naturally, the Circle certainly knew how to control nature. It was almost scary, they had immense power, that of which could easily stand tall against the mighty High Guild. Taking in a deep breath, Nyru pushed himself up from the stone ground, Claudia was looking at him and no doubt it was a glare of reassurance. He did however slowly give her a nod to say he was okay. Sure, he was grazed a little on his face but his armour had protected the majority of him. He preferred to stick to old fashioned defence, means he could focus more on his aggression rather than worrying about his well-being. But in the last battle that didn't help him. Mentally traumatized he had become scarred no doubt, and his fears perhaps elevated. But it had also helped him to become stronger.

Then the old man came closer, his staff tapping the ground every few steps. Then grasping a tight hold of it just feet from them he leaned against it with all his weight, speaking up. "It would seem that you've helped defeat, and finally vanquish one of the Greater Demons of Hell!" shaking his head in rejoice he continued "Well done... After writing so many tomes... making so many speculations, i had never thought, never even contemplated that a mortals of Magic Earth would have a chance... But you, my dear Shadowmancers... this city could never be more grateful".

Nyru then spoke up, after realising his helmet was missing and perhaps still out on the battlefield. "We uh... wasn't expecting to find En'radial"
"True, very true, i had thought that she was defeated already by the unlikely heroes of Team Elixer, on the isle. Yes... rather strange, yet terribly fortunate that the team was there when it was, if not last night's events would not have gone to pass as they have". Nyru couldn't help but wonder how on earth Team Elixer could have done that, himself and Claudia were highly trained, they were Casters... "well" Nyru began. "what exactly... did happen after i passed out?"
"The Circle took the moment that they were weakest my friend, and ultimately locked her soul within the Crimson Jewel. Now... i'm not sure whether it will be taken to be secured at Skyfall or whether the Circle would prefer to keep it. Either way... my only hope is that it never gets taken into the wrong hands."

"thankyou" Nyru replied as his partner went to find his lost helmet, he did miss it... it wasn't often he went around without it. Looking back to the old man he then continued to say "Why doesn't the Angels take them? The Jewels... they made them, so they should take them back shouldn't they?" this subject Nyru was a little one-sided on. The angels... if they really existed just seemed to sit and watch our world as it came to ruin and regrow occasionally, only to fall once more. The old man mumbled a little, his lips moving in ways akin to biting his gums almost. "It is true... Injustira, High Angel of Justice forged the Omnijewel... us humans made it into the spectrum of Jewels we have now... My only estimate is that perhaps the angels are scared of such power. If it can cause us to go to war... i believe it could even cause for dispute within the heavens..."
"But they're more powerful than us, filled and made by good intentions are they not?"
"That is what i've been lead to believe, young Shadowmancer... old accounts have however spoke about how Injustira, as little as he spoke, seemed justified that humans should keep it, after it was split into many we hadn't heard from the angels since..."
"It's silly..." he sighed, thinking of the Black Jewel, and how it had caused for the Wanderer to be believed a member of Delorius'tatem, causing for them to be collapsed as a guild, associated with demons. That was his meaning for disliking the angels, they started it all, in his eyes anyway. "We should find teh young lady" the old man then insisted, making his way outside.

following the path of dirt and bodies, they shortly found Claudia. In the distance she seemed to be keeping a close contact with his helmet. "hey!" began Nyru. "What's the matter?" he continued, getting closer with each step, Horad Caiin behind him in his elderly steps and staff. "A-are you... upset?" he then asked in a quieter tone, knowing she wouldn't like him mentioning it to her infront of Horad. Never mind him however, Nyru was sure the old man didn't hear it.

When she glanced around to reply to him, she seemed willfully strong as ever, almost smiling he said "okay... we shall get you another back home" before taking his helmet from her palms. something was wrong, he could tell, he knew her too well to know that something was definitely not alright. "hm, yes, well" began the old man. "I expect i shall be taking my leave for now, if you ever need me your old scholar will be int he same place as always..." he then turned around and muttered as he slowly walked away "ah i miss adventuring".

Then Nyru turned back to Claudia. He didn't put on his helmet instead through his long hair his eyes stared through and down to her, that knowing older-brother stare. "What's wrong?"

Without even a moment to think Claudia had wrapped herself around his waist, with his spare arm out he was surprised with the sudden intimacy before placing his hand on her shoulder. "What?" he began, almost in disbelief "of coarse i remember, that was me you were watching. You will never lose me, Claudia, i've always been here and always will. What you saw was me... perhaps not in the best of times but it was me, protecting myself and you. I'm sorry... it had to be done to stop here... and..." he stopped for a moment, staring down at Claudia but trying to avoid eye contact.

"she could do things... such... terrible things... and i never want anyone to experience what i had..." he then looked over his shoulder towards the ground. In a lower tone he said "She knew how to make you hate yourself, others and most of all be scared, mentally in pain... " now it seemed as though he was just recounting what happened, what he had experienced. It was horrific, he never wanted to feel that way again.

"I had to stop her... and she fueled her own death"
