Nope. Nope. He couldn't handle this. She was eating up every word he said. Too bad for his aching ab muscles, for now Otto was laughing again, this time flopped on his back and then curling into a ball.
"Are you for real!?" He managed to say between laughing. "Oh man he'll be so happy, Molly! For sure!" He snorted and laughed some more.
"Yer too damned funny!"

“I’m very for real!” Molly cried back, now cupping her face at this realization that she needed to label Jeremy and Otto’s things…Wait. Wait.
Wait.
“I should label Dakota’s things too!”
Oh no…it was never going to stop.

"Ooooooowwwww..." Otto cried through laughter, holding his arms tightly over his abdomen after hearing her ask sucha dumb question.
"Yes! His too! EVERYBODY'S!" There were tears now. He was going to die of laughter. He never imagined this was how he would go.

Molly gripped her cheeks really hard.
“YOU’RE RIGHT! I NEED TO LABEL EVERYONE’S THINGS SO THAT NO ONE IS EVER CONFUSED ABOUT THEM!”

Otto would be having a very sore tummy the next day or so. He just couldn't stop laughing. His throat hurt, his core hurt. His body was not meant for pushing the thresholds of his usual grouchy demeanour.
Eventually, Otto calmed down. But only because he'd run completely out of energy. He remained curled up, rubbing his eyes of the tears that had spilled from an overabundance of laughter. "Oh my Gooood...." He mumbled quietly trying to pull himself up, readjusting his beanie which had nearly slipped off.
"So uh.. just how would anybody mix up their underwear? It ain't like we toss our stuff in some communal laundry basket. Everyone pretty well does their own, yeah?" It was time to try and fix his blunder, in case it all came back on him later.

At Otto’s question, Molly’s fingers relaxed their grips on her cheeks, and she stared off at nothing in particular. A few moments went by. “Oh…” She squeaked. A few more moments went by. “…I should definitely label Jeremy’s though.”

"Yeah, definitely do that." Otto agreed helpfully. He left out the additional 'because Jeremy is stupid' line this time. Because apparently that's not nice to say. At the very least he'd spared himself and many other Hunters of the same fate. The teen rubbed his cheeks, sore from all that confounded laughter. "So like, why are you sewing it again?"

Once Molly finally relaxed, and didn’t feel the need to label the entire Island’s underwear, her hands fell from her face and she looked back at Otto. “Oh!” She looked down at the hoodie, and shifted it, so that she could show the boy the holes that were in the elbows of this one. “Jeremy’s just really active! Whether he’s running around with his little friend, or stalking, chasing, sneaking, and hunting seagulls…” Molly smiled fondly. “It’d be a waste to keep buying new hoodies all the time, so I mend his hoodies!”

"Seagulls..?" Why was Jeremy harassing sea-foul? That kid just got weirder and weirder. "Well, ya got a point there. I mean.. missions alone pretty well destroy good clothes after one day."

Molly nodded her head in agreement, when a thought seemed to hit her. Speaking of making sure everyone was okay and doing well. Hazel eyes suddenly turned to Otto, and the look on her face was srs mom bizness. “You’re tagging it before you’re bagging it, right?” … … … “OH MY GOSH!” Molly exclaimed, her face going red. “I mixed that up!” She cried, and waved one of her hands at Otto erratically. “I meant to say you’re bagging it before you’re tagging it, right? I think that’s how you kids refer to it these days…um…” She looked at the boy with a furrowed brow. “You’re being safe, right?” Because this was very serious business, and Molly half remembered that sleepy eggplant talk she gave him that one time.

Otto gave Molly a very blank look. He had no idea what she was talking about. Not only did the phrase not make any sort of sense to the teen, it was coming from Molly, and it had come from seemingly nowhere. She continued to try and explain herself in a flustered manner, and Otto slowly blinked, still attempting to wrap his head around her weird phrasing. It wasn't until she used the word "safe" that things clicked. He blushed a fierce red that stretched to his ear lobes. "We haven't done that yet!" Otto yelped, "I've only kissed her a few times.""A-and don't use weird slang words you pick up from God knows where! It's weird coming from you!"

"Oh...okay good." Molly beamed at Otto's progress... Or lack there of. She then frowned a bit her brows pinching worriedly. "Stop? I thought those were the words used now though? I'm just trying to make the subject more relatable to you..." She trailed off for a moment. "If you ever need protection, Otto, please just ask and I'll go get some for you," she beamed again.

"No way! I don't use weird words like that. Bagging and Tagging?" Did he really sound that obnoxious when he spoke? The teen huffed and pulled his beanie over his eyes and slouched down some more. "Yeah yeah, I'll let ya know of I need them.. geez..." He didn't forsee himself needing them in the near future. Honestly, the fact he had Eva as a girlfriend in the first place was still unreal. He couldn't picture her in that sort of setting without feeling dirty.

Luckily, Molly let the subject drop after, and as Otto pulled his beanie over his eyes and huffed and pouted like a teen did, she smiled. It was a very fond, sincere, and content smile. She shifted the items on her lap, holding onto them securely with one hand and then reached out to place a freckled hand softly on the boy’s head. “You’re a good kid, Otto.” She said. “I’m really lucky to have known you and have you in my life.”
She pet his beanie covered head once before her hand fell, and she returned to sewing, still smiling softly, and fell silent after words, content to work in this companionable silence.

"Wh..." Otto peeked out from the beanie at the content looking woman. He just didn't know how to respond to such words. They were gentle, kind, genuine. Very much like Molly.
He settled for silence instead. Sitting there in the creepy room as Molly quietly sewed. He didn't want to say anything. He might ruin it.
