Otto resisted the urge to smirk, which wasn't too hard. He did so love to see Dakota get scolded by the Molly-Mom.
"Deal." Otto flopped a slice of Hawaiian pizza into Molly's box while taking one of hers. Trade off! He'd kind of wanted one anyway. It wasn't weird like Dakota's pizza.
Except when he took a bite, he had not been expecting the overwhelming taste of BBQ sauce. It was striking at first, making the boy cringe from the surprise of the taste. It was weird... but awesomely amazing. It had bite, and sweet.
"I like it." He muttered, chewing thoughtfully. "Don't give any to Dakota, though."

"Molly~" Candace crooned happily at the sight of her adorable little roommate. She pouted her lips pitifully when the small red-head scolded Dakota for stealing food. "He's trying to steal my food too, Molly. Make him stooooop."

Rep hadn't seen Chel around, but wasn't in the mood right now to start asserting his opinion of where women sat on the totem pole of rank. He let the food slide for the time being but flinched at the contact and promptly corrected. "Don't touch me. I don't like it. But its just food people ordered from wherever and I went to go get for them. They paid for it. That burger I should charge you for but I'll let it go this time since I don't actually know you. Bottle of booze is free though."
Returning his attention to Candace and Dakota Rep gave the happy couple a long and thoughtful stare, chewing more food while he seemed to decide how he felt about them being an item. His initial gut instinct was happiness and he had to give it a bit of time to be sure that was exactly how he felt.
It held.
Candace deserved someone who wasn't a jangling bag of issues and who had her own relaxed attitude, faithfulness through choice rather than requirement.
He waved a popadom sagely at them. "Well I'm glad for you arseholes. You work. Somehow. Though I don't envy having to keep that arsehole in check." He nodded at Dakota, but was grinning while he said it.
Molly managed to get a proper ginger blush that took in most of Rep's face and some of his neck. "It's nae bother at aw." he mumbled politely

Teasing Rep about blushing when there were witnesses was a good way to sour the mood. Jordan would save that for later. Instead, as he came in, he just shot a wicked grin at Rep across the room and started looking along the tables for a familiar paper-wrapped package.
There it was. He scooped it up, broke the tape, and checked inside; yep, all there. Two dozen handmade tamales, half mild, half killer hot, the latter indicated by a P written in red marker on the plastic wrap in which they were encased. They were frozen, and they'd keep for months in the freezer. He closed the wrapping again, pausing for a moment to smile a little sadly at the messy scrawl of handwriting across the top. Then he scooped up the smaller plastic bag that went with it.
The tamales in the bigger package were frozen. The two in this bag weren't piping hot any more, but they were still warm, and Jordan unwrapped one of them and bit into it. It was just as good as he remembered. Possibly better.

Molly poked her head out from around her pizza box again to cup her cheeks and stare at Rep with eyes that could only be described as ‘kira-kira’. “You’re so precious.” Luckily, because it was Molly, she honestly meant it, and wasn’t teasing.
The Mist trainee then clapped excitedly when Otto dropped a slice of Hawaiian pizza onto her box, but as Candace got her attention, Molly’s ‘mom face’ came back. “Dakota!” She gasped again, and wagged her finger. “That is strike two, Mister! You need to remember the golden rule! Treat others the way you want to be treated!”

Peyton had gone quiet after Molly and Candace showed up, least after a fond hello to her fellow blonde. She was far too busy helping herself to one of the orders of clam strips she'd gotten. Savoring each bite. You couldn't rush White Castle clams, you just couldn't. They were meant to be enjoyed slowly.

Al anxiously slipped into the room and was immediately on high alert. Hazel eyes scanned the cafeteria in search of one thing and one thing alone. It flitted across his gaze. He almost missed it. But no, it did not escape.
The predator went in for the kill.
Al swooped in to clutch the Gregg's bag in his mighty talons before hunkering down at Rep's side to tear into his hapless victim.
He first procured a delicious chicken pasty which he savoured. Slowly. Carefully. He could surely die happy now.

All Dakota could do was shoot a glare at Otto, and then Candace as Molly scolding him.
"But...But..." He tried to get a word in before deflating, disappearing into the box of alfredo pizza. "I'll share if they want....."
/frown frown frown/
His attention diverted to Rep who was giving them approval, he liked approval. He liked it even more that it was from someone that considered both Candace and Him friends and actually cared. He didn't know why, but it had his arm wrapping around Candace's and beaming.
"Thank you." He looked politely at Rep, "She will take good care of me..." He nodded, "And I will do my best for her." He ducked his head in her neck and kissed it. "I'm sorry for almost stealing your chicken."
And he guessed,
"and getting one of your wings and a pineapple Otto." He nodded...then looked hopefully at Molly.

Candace grinned smugly when Molly scolded Dakota and pushed her bucket out of her man's reach. Victory. "I don't want your pizza, sweetheart. That's yours~."
She looked up again when she heard Rep address them, looking somewhat surprised by his approval. It wasn't that she was looking for anyone's approval, but to get it from Rep was something Candace hadn't been expecting. "Thank you, Rep~. And yes, I can see it's more difficult than I thought it'd be." Candace tilted her head to one side to let Dakota get at her neck, smiling at his little apology. That was adorable. Did he really feel sorry? It was just a piece of chicken.
"You're forgiven, sweetheart," she assured him with a kiss to his temple. "You know I'd never do that to you over something so silly, right~?" But it was cute he believed her.

"Touchy touchy," Chel commented, removing her hands from the man's body. Sure she thought it was a bit silly, but everyone needed personal space. "What's got your tail in a twist, sweetheart?"
Taking another bite of the hamburger, she reveled in the fast food goodness. Her parents had always been tight asses around food, so fast food was a commodity in and of itself. God bless Ronald McDonald.
Smiling, she spotted at least one person she somewhat recognized. "Hey! Aren't you uh - ... Pay something??" Wonderful introduction. "You're one of the sun newbies. Like me!"

"More new Suns?" Jordan looked over to the speaker. A girl he didn't recognize; she must have hatched very recently. He grinned. "Welcome to the best division."

The tiny Sun spot looked up when addressed, a single pale brow twitching upward. "Peyton," she corrected flatly, then nodded, smiling. "Yeah, though a little less new now." She finished off the last of her clams, then set the box aside. "I'm guessing you're more recently awakened?" Jordan was flashed a quick grin. She agreed with him about Sun being the best, but maybe she was biased. It really was the best fit for her on a personal level.
