After the somewhat embarrassing mishap, Giza got back to the search with renewed focus. He watched the two lionesses standardizing themselves apart, methodically scaling up the mountain. Without invitation he went to join their line, knowing this would keep them from covering the same ground multiple times.
He noticed others, what appeared to be, randomly digging. If that was the most effective way to find people in the cold white of the mountain, then he would happily dig random holes. There was a slight snag in this plan, though. Giza was nothing if not easily distracted, especially by nature. He found a mound himself, near the caves, but not inside one, and started pawing the snow away. He pulled a pawful up to his face, examining the little crystals in great detail. It was not until the call of someone’s name that pulled him out of his inspection. There were people’s lives on hand – it was not the time to study ice, however interesting it may be.

Sebor paused to sniff at a tree root that she walked by when the wind changed just a bit. She lifted her head and turned her head, looking toward Zoza with a frown. There was just one lioness there but...the wind... She moved over to the other female carefully, not wanting to suddenly sink into the snow. Yes, after today she'd never come back here. Snow was just too tricky to work with. It got stuck in your fur and clumped up between your toes and was cold. Not something she enjoyed. "Can you smell that?" she asked Zoza as she approached her. Looking around, her ears pressed against her head in irritation. Something had to be here! Maybe it was right under their noses. She glanced down and moved around carefully, staying close to Zoza. "Oh!" Her exclamation came as she spotted a nose poking through the snow to the left of Zoza's hind foot. "Don't move to your left! Someone is there!"

When Sebor came over and asked if she could smell 'that,' Zoza froze. She was so focused on looking, she wasn't really using any other senses. Especially her brain. She watched Sebor and looked back to her leg-- and right to the just behind her. "Oh my!" She jumped, thankfully away from the nose and not onto it. "We found someone!" she cried, moving in to start digging.

The sound of saviors! Korini had never been so thankful for anything in her life, aside from escaping the plague that had claimed her birthplace. Provided nothing went wrong, it seemed she'd escaped death again. The words were somewhat muffled by the snow, but she could hear them clear enough; she could feel the frozen, white fluff shifting. They were digging.
Bisra and Kirala had both heard the Zoza sound off and hurried over. "That's Korini!" Bisra exlaimed. He's recognize that nose anywhere, nice and bright with a small scar near the left nostril from none other than the hare himself.
Kirala didn't waste the breath it took to state the obvious and instead took to digging. Her son was quick to join her.

Sebor helped dig the lioness out of the snow, relieved that they had found someone. She didn't even seem too worse for the wear, just a bit shaken up. She backed away as more came to help, glad that she was being freed. But there were more to be found.
She sniffed the air again and set off once more. If this lioness was here, perhaps there were more that had been pushed into the area. Ears and eyes open, she began to sniff again, winding her way through the snow. She'd stop to paw here and there at something that looked like a mound covering a lion or other animal, but it always gave way to nothing but air.
"Come on," she murmured to herself. There were many more lives to save. One out of....well, who even knew how many there were? One was good, but two would be better. Three amazing. Four...well, anything over four and she'd consider it a success.

Urza was grateful to see that one of the members had been found. Even relieved, though there were still plenty more to find, if Zoza's number was correct. There was moment for a brief victory, but only just that. He felt the weight go down, but time was still of the essence. He had no clue who all was missing. It was still chaotic, and he didn't think it would come down until well after everyone was safe and sound.
He was tired, as many other's were probably just as tired, but he couldn't stop now. Even if every bone in his body began to ache, he would fight on until every last lion, and non-lions were found.

(Wow, that was fast! XD)
Sebor turned her nose to the air once she moved downwind of most of the lions. She hadn't gone too far, though, as she could still hear the others clearly behind her. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and...oh...
Turning her head, she followed her nose rather than her eyes for a few paces. The smell was very, very faint, but it grew just a bit stronger the more she headed in this direction. Finally she stopped and opened her eyes, her ears straining to hear any sound. There...a tiny noise! Right below her feet!
She began to dig, flinging snow every which way. She spotted a tail, then a paw...then a head! "Are you okay?" she asked as she dug, leaning in to lick the cub's face to try to bring her around. She looked a bit stunned but relatively okay, from what she could see, anyway.

Giza did not bother helping dig out the discovered lioness. Adding another to the three already helping would probably do more harm than good at this point. He continued walking up the slope, slowly and softly enough not to crush the snow, but swiftly enough to cover some territory. He pawed at another mound of snow, revealing nothing, but it was still progress.
His eyebrows shot up at the next find - a cub, with a full life ahead of her. It was definitely worth rejoicing, except there were more still lost. Perhaps more cubs even. But maybe the gods were looking down on them favorable… Well, the luck gods, seeing as they had the help of a god or two already. Maybe this would happen even faster than expected. Maybe, and he hoped more than this was true more than anything else, they would find everyone alive, before the snow had a chance to steal anyone’s nose or tail or toes. Giza wondered when he let himself get so grim. He was normally a lot more positive than to think of people losing toes.

Khirya caught a very faint familiar scent and her head jerked upward, slowly moving around in small tight circle, trying to figure out where the smell is coming from. Her eyes lands on an unfamiliar female whom seems to caught the same scent so she followed the lioness with Lyrium trailing closely behind because they are the princess' unspoken guards so they are responsible for her safety. When the lioness started to dig, she moves in closer and the familiar scent is pretty strong so she joined in the digging effort without saying anything to the lioness.
When Okelani's body slowly gets revealed with every swipe of snow from the lioness, Khirya and Lyrium, the female held her breath because the juve is too eeriely still with no sign of life anywhere. But as the lioness licked Okelani's face, the juve began to stir little bit and that's when she expelled a breath she have been holding roughly. "Princess..." She says gently as she nods at the lioness. "Thank you. Meet Princess Okelani."

Lyrium's ears twitches when she didn't hear the steady stream of updates from Khirya while they were coordinating a search with each other and a male and she looks up to see Khirya moving around in small circle with her nose sniffing at the air. Loping over to her friend, Lyrium didn't need to ask any questions because Khirya was already off, running toward the general direction where the lioness was nearing the spot where the scent she finally caught in the air is becoming more stronger. Her muscles tenses up as she sees a lioness she is not familiar with but she had to remind herself that everyone here are unified under one purpose and that is to find the missing members and others that might have got caught in the avalanche.
As Khirya joined in the frantic digging with the lioness, Lyrium circles around them to protect them from whomever would want to try their luck with three lionesses around. As the familiar coloration of the princess' body slowly became revealed, Lyrium hurries over to an 'open spot' between Khirya and the lioness to form a tight circle around the dazed princess. "Silly Okelani.... What did I tell you about wandering off like that?" She says softly as she felt the immense relief coursing through her body. "Thank you." She looks at the lioness with a smile. "I am Lyrium. This is Khirya." She introduces themselves before she picks Okelani up by her scruff, using her tail to motion that she will be taking the princess back to caves to warm up.

Zoza was getting used to seeing hares around so much now but she was still surprised when a small voice cried out and two hares rushed to join them. She kept digging and digging until she was confident the lioness was free and safe, smiling at her before watching Sebor go off- and promptly find another lost lion.
"We're doing good so far," she murmured, looking over and smiling at Korini, "Have to keep looking!"
And she rushed off to continue her search.

Okelani is firmly curled up in a tight ball, her small body continues to wrack with violent shivers while trying to stay warm but slowly she was starting to lose the feeling in her limbs and she was starting to feel really drowsy. Mmmm... maybe this is just a horrible nightmare and I will wake up to my pride members' faces She thinks to herself while her muzzle slowly becomes numb and her eyes flutters open and closed few times before closing. As the coldness began to creep into her body, Okelani was almost too far gone to notice the coldness for few hours and all of the sudden, she felt the pressure of the ground above her starting to lighten up at rapid speed.
Struggling to open her eyes, Okelani whimpers softly because her body was almost frozen stiff and it hurts when she tries to move her limbs. As the light invaded her almost ice tomb, assaulting her eyes and the juve was too lethargic to hide her face back in her arms from the painful light. "Are you ok?" a worried voice reached to the juve's ears and she murmurs illegibly, trying to tell the voice that she is so cold and tired. Her bi-colored eyes opens once again, squinting at the three shadows that is surrounding her and she is dazed, not sure what is happening. When one of the shadows leaned in to lick her face, it seems to revive her some how and her vision began to clear. Her eyes widens as she saw two familiar faces and one not familiar face and she tries to get up but falls back down because her limbs was shrieking in agony. "Khirya.....Lyrium.." Her voice was hoarse as she looks at those two familiar face but she could tell that the unfamiliar lioness is nice. Turning her head little bit toward the lioness who licked her face and purrs some, "Thank you..." She closes her eyes little bit, feeling so tired but she is overjoyed that she have been discovered.
As Lyrium picked her up by the scruff, Okelani shivers at the hit of icy breeze and whimpers little bit, trying to curl up into the tight ball. "Cold...." She mumbles as she closes her eyes once again.
